Die Anlage wirkte insgesamt gepflegt und gut instand gehalten. Das waren aus unserer Sicht leider auch die wenigen positiven Aspekte unseres Aufenthalts. Während unseres Aufenthalts traten bei uns wiederholt Hautreaktionen in Form von Stichen auf, die vor allem morgens sichtbar waren und ein auffälliges Muster zeigten. Nach weiterer Abklärung bestand für uns der Verdacht auf Bettwanzen. Wir haben die Unterkunft ausdrücklich gebeten, den Verdacht zu prüfen und gegebenenfalls Bettwanzen entfernen zu lassen, um weitere Gäste zu schützen. Leider erfolgte darauf keinerlei Reaktion. Zudem entsprechen die Bilder des Liegebereich am Strand nicht ganz den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis empfanden wir im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften auf der Insel als nicht angemessen.

• Stefan (8/5): Sehr schönes Resort an einem Traumstrand für Liebhaber eines authentischen Thailands - Die Villen befinden sich in einer liebevoll gepflegten Gartenanlage nahe dem Strand. Die Häuser sind ebenfalls gepflegt und in gutem Zustand, die Sauberkeit war tadellos. Das offene Restaurant bietet sehr authentische und schmackhafte Speisen zu fairen Preisen an, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Koh Kood ist eine sehr authentische und naturbelassene Insel, wer hier jeden Tag Party erwartet, ist völlig falsch. Wäre der Strandbereich mit derselben Sorgfalt wie der Rest der Anlage gestaltet, gäbe es an dem Resort nichts mehr auszusetzen.

Hörde hur de snarkade på natten. Toaletten var placerad så att man knappt kunde sitta då duschväggen fanns där.

• Jan (2/5): Preisleistung stimmt nicht. Nicht zu empfehlen und würde dort keine Nacht mehr verbringen - Relativ zentral gelegen Unser Badezimmer im Bungalow war dreckig. An den Wänden war Überall Schimmel, sowie in der Dusche. Das Bad hat einen Ventilator als Ablüftung. Jedes andere Bungalow hatte von außen einen Schutz davor. Dieser fehlte jedoch bei uns, wodurch wir diverse Tiere in unserem Bungalow hatten. Wir fühlten uns in dem Bungalow eingeengt, weil es viel enger war als auf den Bildern dargestellt. Es wirkte sehr runter gekommen. Wir haben die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption darauf angesprochen und gesagt, dass wir uns sehr unwohl fühlen und ihnen Bilder gezeigt. Es wirkte so als wäre es bekannt und das wir nicht die ersten sind die uns beschweren. Sie haben uns jedoch keine alternative geboten, woraufhin wir nach einer Nacht dort ausgecheckt und in ein deutlich besseres Resort gegangen sind. Bei der Abreise waren die Mitarbeiter zudem auch noch sehr unfreundlich. Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe und das Restaurant sah auch nicht gerade einladend aus. Der Strandabschnitt mit den Hotelliegen ist gefühlt 10m breit und somit sehr eng.Es gibt abends keine Bar oder sonstiges um etwas zu trinken. Durch die Bilder vom Resort haben wir viel mehr erwartet und wurden leider total enttäuscht und eine Entschädigung gab es nicht.

• Leonie (7/5): Der Schein trügt, die Behandlung der Mitarbeitenden ist unterirdisch - Die Lage an sich ist sehr gut, der Strand wunderschön. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Man kann vor Ort Roller leihen. Für uns stimmte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in Bezug auf die Verpflegung gar nicht (keine Bar, Frühstück eher zur Abfertigung und mit wenig Liebe zum Detail). Wir wollten den zuvor gemachten Bewertungen erst wenig Aufmerksamkeit schenken und uns ein eigenes Bild machen. Leider sollten sich die Bewertungen um das Verhalten der Besitzer bewahrheiten. Anfänglich war es soweit in Ordnung, als man uns jedoch fälschlicherweise einen Tag Rollernutzung in Rechnung stellte, kippte unser Eindruck massiv. Die Mitarbeiterin erklärte uns, dass sie selbst die Kosten tragen müsse oder ihren Job verliere. Wir haben unter Diskussion klargemacht, dass der Fehler auf Seiten des Hotels liegt, aber menschlich ist und einfach korrigiert werden kann. Zum Schluss erklärte man uns, das Mädchen, das das Datum falsch eingetragen hatte, wird dies nun vom Lohn abgezogen bekommen. Auch das anschließende Verhalten uns gegenüber war unwürdig und respektlos. Wir würden hier nie mehr buchen. Uns blieb nichts übrig, als die Mitarbeitenden für einen solchen Führungsstil zu bemitleiden! Bitte hinterfragen Sie Ihren Umgang mit Fehlern und Ihrem Personal – die Gäste bekommen das mit!

• Anastasiia (5/5): - The room was clean and comfortable, but lacked shelves and proper space to unpack luggage. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and a big plus. Breakfast was very basic and the same every day, although the coffee was good. Unfortunately, the staff was not very friendly. On our last day, we were told by two managers that our transfer to Bangkok was at 11:00. However, at 10:00 another manager came saying the taxi was already waiting and gave us only 15 minutes to get ready. No apology for the confusion, which was very unprofessional. Overall, nice location but poor service and organization.
• Faist (5/5): Resort is ok but not worth the price - The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. The beach is very beautiful. You can rent scooters for 300baht a day at the resort. This was our most expensive stay in Thailand and for that it was a little disappointing. The pictures are quite old. Some of the chairs in the beach area are broken, some of the cushions on the deckchairs are thin and old (not comfortable). The breakfast was ok-ish, at the evening the restaurant was always empty, not sure if you can have dinner there at all - all in all the vibe was just a little off. We ended up getting dinner at a very beautiful resort an about 5-10 min walk at the beach away.

• Jonas (7/5): Schöne Strandlage mit verbesserungswürdigem Preis Leistungsverhältnis - Strand ist super und es gibt Liegen mit Sonnenschirm. Die Bubgalows sind gut ausgestattet und modern, etwas eng allerdings. Anlage war sehr gepflegt. Man konnte sogar kostenlos Kajaks ausleihen. Frühstücksauswahl und -Abwechslung entspricht nicht dem Preis. Kaffee war gut. Restaurant hat abends sehr früh geschlossen, somit weit laufen oder einen Roller ausleihen. Ein kleiner Shop wäre wünschenswert, da das Hotel doch abgelegen ist. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier einfach nicht.

• Rafał (9/5): A place we will return to - Koh Kood has several beautiful beaches, and the one by the hotel is certainly among the top three. A wide, sandy beach with a gentle, sandy slope into the water. You won't miss the pool at all – the sea is perfect. The area is peaceful.

Petit déjeuner médiocre et pas de thé noir disponible. Quand nous l’avons signalé, il ne nous a pas été proposé d’en acheter et nous avons dû aller en acheter nous mêmes ! Salle pour les repas tristounette et le dîner ne peut pas être servi après 19h, donc obligé de dîner ailleurs. • Ismini Baca (3/5): - My husband and I spent 17 nights at MeDee Resort, which gave us enough time to form a more complete and consistent impression than many of the shorter 2–3 night stays reflected in other reviews. While the resort has several genuinely positive aspects, there are also some recurring issues that, in our view, keep it from justifying its current pricing. Location & Layout The resort is located directly on the beach, which is lovely, but worth noting that there are no true sea‑view bungalows. The beachfront strip is quite narrow, so the bungalows extend in rows behind one another rather than facing the water. This means you enjoy quick access to the beach, but don’t expect a scenic ocean view from your room. Bungalow Condition The interior of the bungalows is simple and showing signs of wear. TV and air‑conditioning worked reliably. The bathroom is extremely compact—about 1.8 × 1.9 m—which leaves very little space, especially between the toilet and the shower area. The sink takes up unnecessary room, making the bathroom feel even more cramped. Water pressure is very low, but still workable for a shower. Our wooden door had large gaps you could see through, including a visible crack between the door frame and the wall. Lighting is also insufficient: there is only one bedside lamp with a dim 1W bulb, not suitable for reading. (Tip: swapping a brighter bulb from the bathroom helps.) Garden & Atmosphere One of the resort’s strongest positives is the beautifully maintained garden. The landscaping staff are consistently friendly and polite, and the greenery adds a lot of charm to the property. Breakfast Breakfast is simple, and you should expect to wait for prepared items like omelettes or pancakes. The coffee is decent, but on multiple mornings only one coffee machine was working, causing a queue. Restaurant & Pricing The resort’s restaurant serves good food, but the prices—especially for drinks—are on the higher side compared to the island average.

• Anne-Marie (9/5): Fijn verblijf!:) - Het was een fijn verblijf, mooi huisjes, vriendelijk personeel. Ook de locatie was prima! Het ontbijt was prima, maar niet heel uitgebreid. Wel een fijn koffieapparaat met goede koffie!

• Kelly (4/5): Not terrible but certainly would not return or recommend this resort. Very overpriced for what it was! - What we saw online… not in actuality. We liked the resort next door. The boss lady left us feeling ripped off. When we asked for her to call us a taxi to go to Bang Bao Beach she told us the “taxi” said 600bt. Then one of the employees leaves on his scooter and pulls up in a taxi. We were immediately suspect that she was playing us. When we had a restaurant at Bang Bao pier call us a taxi for the return and miraculously it was only 400bt. When we first arrived the towels, bed linens and rooms were immaculate. Day 2 the new towels were thread bare and very stained. Bed linens were never changed for the 4 days only straitened when they made up the beds.
• Stefania (7/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per 7 giorni e nel complesso l’esperienza è stata positiva. La posizione è davvero ottima, fronte spiaggia, con un mare meraviglioso a pochi passi. Il giardino è impeccabile, curato nei minimi dettagli, con piante bellissime e sempre ben tenute. La stanza era in linea con lo standard, pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Buona la colazione: non molto varia, aspetto che potrebbe essere migliorato, ma comunque soddisfacente. Un grande punto a favore va allo staff e alla proprietaria, entrambi gentilissimi e sempre disponibili. Purtroppo non possiamo dire lo stesso del padrone: concordiamo con alcune recensioni che segnalano un atteggiamento poco socievole, a tratti quasi distaccato, tanto da stentare anche a salutare. Un comportamento che risulta poco professionale per chi gestisce una struttura ricettiva e che dà l’impressione, a volte, che la presenza dei turisti possa addirittura infastidire. È l’unico vero aspetto negativo di un hotel che, per il resto, merita sicuramente per posizione, cura degli spazi e accoglienza dello staff.

The communication with the staff before arrival (to arrange transportation from another resort) and after the stay (requested multiple times an invoice for Booking refund, didn’t receive it even now, one month later).

• Ümit (9/5): Tam aradığım tatildi. - Tesisin bulunduğu koy, adanın en güzel koylarından biri. Tesisin temizliğine tam puan. Personelin kibarlığı beni çok etkiledi. Evimizdeki gibi rahat ettik. Tesis dışına çıkmak istediğimizde yaptığımız aktivitelerde bize araç sağlandı, yardımcı olundu. Kahvaltıda bol meyve vardı ve kahve müthişti. Tekrar gelip bu tesiste kalmayı düşünüyorum. Kahvaltıda siyah çay olsaydı daha da müthiş olurdu. Onun dışında her şey mükemmeldi.

Petit déjeuner pas terrible , pas de bar de plage tout le monde va à côté , le pire de notre séjour en Thaïlande. Franchement à éviter .

• Claudia (9/5): Eine Oase mit wunderschönem Garten - alles perfekt - Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Bungalows liegen inmitten einer super gepflegten Gartenanlage. Sehr sauber, gute Betten, ruhig. Täglich frische Hand- und Strandtücher. Zum Frühstück gab es vier Obstsorten, drei Thaigerichte, Toast, frische Eierspeisen, Gemüse, Würstchen, Pancakes, Marmeladen, Cereals, Säfte und sehr guten Kaffee! Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich. Kajaks können gratis ausgeliehen werden. Der Strand ist traumhaft schön, es gab immer freie Liegen.

• Linnéa (6/5): - We appreciated the kind staff in the kitchen and the cleaners. Comfortable bungalow. The bed is really good. The beach is alright but you definitely should rent a motorbike to go to the better ones on the islands. However we found that snorkeling is really good here! A lot of written rules everywhere. Bungalows are very close to each other. Breakfast is limited. We stayed at another resort in Koh kood for 10 days before coming to Medee and when we came here we got somewhat disappointed. The boss is not very nice. Staff seem to work very long shifts.

• Britt-Inger (7/5): En resort med superhärliga bungalows och fin strand - Frukosten var tillräcklig för att klara sig. Bra med omelett, äggröra, stekt ägg som tillagades på plats, gott kaffe från maskin som malde bönor. Väldigt trevlig personal och mycket fin bungalow! Det var inte många val till frukosten om man ville äta smörgås, inget pålägg mer än smör och marmelad, sallad, tomat, gurka. Det var inte något mysigt att äta middag på resorten, skulle velat se mer smålampor och bord ute på stranden, lite mer inbjudande! Det finns ingen bar på resorten!
• arlene (10/5): A great choice🤗 - Everything! The beach in front of the hotel, white sand, crystal clear water. Breakfast was excellent, good assortment. The room was lovely, compact but spacious. Landscaping meticulous. A bit off the beaten path. Quiet and serene. The staff totally accommodating. Definitely a 10. We ate dinner in the restaurant our first night. The food was good but pricey in comparison to restaurants around the island. Definitely need to drive a motor bike to get around the island.

• Jason (10/5): This property is beautiful, well taken care of and scenic with postcard views! - The location was perfect for our stay with walking distance on beach and beautiful views of the water and nature. We loved the private feeling of the location and sweetness of the staff. The facilities were in very nice condition and you can tell they take care of the property. The owner is often onsite and engaged with staff and customers, giving a feeling of care, sincerity and love. I highly recommend this resort with a perfect beach, property, staff and owner! I loved everything about this place and our experience there. I only hate that we couldn't stay longer than the four nights we had there. There's so much to appreciate about the location and property that we stayed mostly onsite the whole time. There's a whole island to explore but we didn't have the time and wanted to enjoy where we were, Me Dee resort!
• Jennifer (8/5): Kommen sehr gerne wieder. - Es sind kleine, einzelne Bungalows in direkter Strandlage. Es ist keine große Anlage, sondern alles sehr überschaubar und gemütlich – genau das hat uns gefallen. Der Strand liegt direkt davor und ist wirklich wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Insgesamt ist alles gut, auch wenn es hier und da ein paar kleine Mängel gibt, die den Aufenthalt jedoch nicht wirklich gestört haben. Das Frühstück ist klein, aber fein und absolut ausreichend. Eierspeisen werden nach Wunsch frisch zu bereitet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter – alle waren sehr nett. Trotz kleiner Schwächen ein tolles Hotel – wir kommen gerne wieder!
• Tuğrul (7/5): Sakin, tenha, yağmurlu ve rüzgarlı bir konaklamaydı. - Konumu, temizliği, odanın konumu, personel ilgiliydi. Mevsim dışı gittiğimiz için hava ve deniz kötüydü. Akşam 7'den sonra otel çalışanları dahil çevrede hiç kimse kalmıyordu. Kahvaltı çok zayıftı. Mevsim dışı fiyatı daha ucuz olmalıydı. Ben odayı aldıktan birkaç gün sonra fiyatı düştü ve bir süre sonra kayboldu. Booking'i aradığımda ekran resmi varsa fiyatı eşitleyebiliriz dediler ama ben maalesef ekran resmi almamıştım. Bu durumun da genel bir memnuniyetsizlik yarattığını belirmek isterim.
