- Matt (8/5): Beautiful resort - Beautiful property and amazing, window filled bungalows. Beautiful grounds and pool area. Very good beach access via road directly across from resort. The maintenance man/gardener was extremely happy and welcoming. Saw some monkeys one day. It was low season and there were only a few other guests on the property. THe pool and pool area were not cleaned, but maybe that's bc of the low season. Hard to find anything to complain about.

- Sandra (9/5): - Ruhige Anlage, großer Pool, schöner Garten, freistehende großer Bungalow Etwas abgewohnt, aber völlig ok. Frühstücksraum direkt an der Straße, rauchen am Tisch erlaubt
- Christian (8/5): - Zentrale Lage auf der Insel. Viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Rollervermietung zu fairen Preisen. Gute Auswahl an Ausflügen. Der Weg zum Strand ist etwas länger und man muß unbedingt auf die Gezeiten achten. Bei Ebbe ist Baden nicht möglich! Deutliche Abnutzung im Badezimmer.
- Elke (9/5): - Der weitläufige Garten, die Bungalows, das Personal. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier und kommen wieder. Es ist wie nach Hause kommen. Leider bietet der Pool kaum Schatten und es könnten mehr Liegen und vorallem bequemere Liegen da sein.
- Kathrin (8/5): - Aufgrund der letzten schlechten Bewertungen hatte ich keine positiven Erwartungen im Hinblick auf das Resort. Wir waren aber mit unserem Aufenthalt zufrieden. … Ja, das Resort liegt an einer größeren Straße, die wir aber überhaupt nicht als störend empfunden haben. Es ist auch kein Problem diese Straße zu überqueren. Die Außenanlage ist gepflegt. Der Pool war meist wenig besucht und wir sind eh lieber an die Strände gefahren. Es ist von Vorteil sich einen Roller zu mieten. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Bungalow ist groß und der Zimmerservice reinigt täglich. Die Handtücher riechen sauber und es sind keine ekligen Microfaser Handtücher wie sie oft verwendet werden. Das Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung und man kann zwischen verschiedenen Menüs auswählen. Ich finde das ganze Personal hat sich wirklich viel Mühe gegeben. In unserem Badezimmer waren abends immer große Ameisen. Das war schon etwas störend. Aber lieber Ameisen als Kakerlaken oder Spinnen. Ab und zu riecht der Abfluss etwas, aber auch hier hat der Zimmerservice sich gekümmert.

Die Duschbrause war seit dem ersten Tag kaput und niemand hat es während den vier Tagen repariert. Die Klimanlage bläst direkt aufs Bett.

- Fabian (1/5): Furchtbar! Kein Doppelzimmer buchen!!! - Nettes Personal. Die Poolanlage sieht schick aus Es wurde ein Deluxe Doppelbettzimmer angeboten, welches in Realität keine Fenster hatte, gegenüber der hotelanlage in einem baufälligen und nicht isolierten Haus lag. Das Zimmer hatte einen „Balkon“ direkt zu einer Baustelle wo nur Bauschutt lag. Das Zimmer hatte auch kein Fenster und das Bad war verschmutzt ink. Schimmelnder Tür. Wie man den Bewertungen entnehmen kann, ist das schon anderen Reisenden passiert. Am schlimmsten war allerdings die Reaktion des Hotels. Von der Inhaberin gab es kein Entgegenkommen. Letztlich ging der ganze Tag drauf um mit Booking und dem Hotel zu kommunizieren. Habe für einen Tag ein Upgrade bekommen, am 2. Tag habe ich die Unterkunft freiwillig verlassen BUCHT HIER BLOSS KEIN DOPPELZIMMER

- maurizio (1/5): Terribile . - Purtroppo abbiamo avuto una esperienza terribile. Ho prenotato una camera doppia per 5 gg pagando circa 80 euro al giorno dopo aver visto le immagini del resort sul sito . All’arrivo siamo stati alloggiati in una specie di rudere localizzato al di fuori del tesoro in una stanza misera che affacciava su uno spiazzo simile ad una discarica. Mi sono lamentato della sistemazione ma e’ stato inutile . In maniera molto aggressiva una signora dello staff ci urlava che ila nostra prenotazione valeva solo per quel misero alloggio e che per usufruire delle stanze viste al momento della preparazione avremmo dovuto fare un upgrading pagando circa altri 120 euro al giorno. Eravamo così stanchi che siamo stati quasi costretti a pagare quella cifra in più . Inoltre in 5 giorni abbiamo dovuto cambiare 3 volte la camera sempre facendoci stare senza la camera dalle 11 alle 14 ( orario del check in ) . Dopo quello che ci e’ capitato ho letto le recensioni negative e mi sono accorto che questo tipo di trattamento non e’ infrequente . Consiglio quindi di non prenotare questo hotel. Il fatto che no pulivano la stanza tutti i giorni , la colazione misera e la presenza di 3 alti ripetitori localizzati a ridosso dei bungalow .

- Patrick_W_1983 (9/5): Tolles, sauberes Hotel mit sehr netten Mitarbeitern! - Dass Personal war immer extrem bemüht und es wurde einem immer sofort geholfen. Eine Klimaanlagenservice wurde nach Reklamation auch innerhalb eines Tages durchgeführt und top gereinigt von einer beauftragten Firma. Motorroller konnte man vor Ort um 250 THB pro Tag mieten und einen Helm gabs auch dazu. Meiner ist leider gebrochen und Ersatz habe ich ohne Zahlung erhalten. Das Frühstück war auch immer frisch und lediglich der Kaffee könnte ein wenig besser sein. Die Anlage und Zimmer waren sehr gepflegt und sauber, jedoch wären ein paar Liegen mehr beim Pool toll, dann wäre auch dieser perfekt zu nutzen. Wie bereits erwähnt wäre ein besserer Kaffee wünschenswert, aber zur Not machts ein kalter Nescafe aus der Dose in der Früh auch und ist somit jammern auf hohem Niveau.

- wennan (5/5): 旺季一千多的房价极其不值，马路对面海滩边的可可兰塔很漂亮玩海又方便 - 房间面积很大，是个套间。泳池和花园很漂亮 首先酒店不在海滩上，而是在海滩马路对面的山坡上。去海滩要穿过马路，再穿过海滩边的度假村，大概走两三百米。早餐是套餐，一份女生可以吃饱，食量大的男生要加钱多点一份才够。酒店前台由一家穿黑罩袍的女人打理，英语不错，我们试图找她们预定出租车和一日游，报价都比外面的贵，并且当我们在酒店旁边找双条车讲价时，前台女人大声用当地话和司机说了什么，导致司机报价也一分不让，直到我们走到她看不见的地方才行。

Le petit déjeuner propose un choix de sept menus différents. L'établissement n'est pas récent et ça se voit un peu. L'emplacement en bordure de route et pas côté mer est de mon point de vue le plus gros défaut (mais pas rédhibitoire)

- Sabine (2/5): Abzocke - Eine absolute Abzocke! Das schlechteste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis das wir in Thailand je hatten. Wir haben für 2 Tage ein Doppelzimmer gebucht um dann vor Ort nach einer geeigneten Unterkunft zu suchen. Geworben wird mit einer tollen Anlage (die auch schön ist), was jedoch nicht erwähnt wird, das die Doppelzimmer in einer alten Anlage auf der anderen Straßenseite liegen, kein einziges Fenster im ganzen Zimmer außer ein winziges im Bad. Das ist in Thailand an und für sich ja nichts ungewöhnliches aber nicht für umgerechnet fast 80.-€ die Nacht!!! Das grenzt absolut an Abzocke und das schlimmste kommt noch - man schläft ungefähr 10 Meter neben der viel befahrenen Hauptstraße- Lärm ohne Ende als sitze man am Pannenstreifen der Autobahn. Wir sind wirklich nicht wählerisch und haben schon in billigen Unterkünften ohne jeglichen Komfort genächtigt aber das hat uns echt den Urlaub versaut. Als Kommentar an der Rezeption kam dann man hätte sich ja die Fotos genauer anschauen können... Jetzt wohnen wir in einem großen Bungalow in der Nähe mit großer Terrasse und allem Komfort weg von der Hauptstraße für nicht mal 30.-€ Ich kann die Zimmer leider überhaupt nicht empfehlen

Frukosten var sådär, var 7 olika set du kunde välja mellan men det var ofta slut på tex avocadomackorna. Dåligt tryck på vattnet i duschen.

- Venon (10/5): Parfait - Le calme bien qu'à proximité d'une route, on n'entend pas les voitures la nuit ni à la piscine. la propreté des espaces verts et des chambres , la piscine, la proximité de la plage de resto et bars sympa pour profiter du coucher de soleil. Le petit déjeuner copieux,tout le personnel est très agréable, les personnes de l'accueil parlent bien , anglais, nous avons eu un probleme avec le télé qui a été changée immédiatement. La literie est confortable.La clim dans la chambre est un plus comme le frigidaire On a loué un scooter presque neuf. Un service de navette du port à l'hôtel puis le transfert à notre prochain hôtel pour un prix raisonnable. Parfait

We arranged our tourts through them and they were very helpful with changing our airport shuttle times. We had breakfast included. There was a great variety, perfect portion sizes and very yummy. I loved that there were umbrellas in the pool area. There were was always someone there but never crowded. The pool was a great size and very clean. The rooms were a great size and clean. The housekeeping staff were very helpful when my son was sick. Everything we needed was within walking distance although we did hire scooters to check out other areas. Overall, we loved our stay at Lanta Lapaya. I liked it all

Au bord de la route extrêmement bruyante, passante de 6h30 à 24h !! Dommage d’offrir du jus de fruit instantané au petit déjeuner quand il y a des jus de fruits frais à la carte. Tendance à pousser à la dépense, attention aux coûts cachés lors des réservations, ne pas hésiter à comparer.

The studio we stayed in was spacious, clean and more than adequate. All rooms were large in size and the bed was extremely comfortable. The selection for breakfast was very impressive. The staff were so friendly and helpful - reception, breakfast room, gardener and cleaning staff are a credit to Lanta Lapaya Resort. I was given a birthday cake and the girls in the breakfast room sang Happy Birthday which was a lovely surprise. Nothing

Breakfasts really nice. Scooter hire from reception. Some superb restaurants outside the resort.. Centrally placed so easy to get anywhere on the Island by scooter.. Looking to rebook next year too. Very minor little niggles.. Aircon not the quietest in our room but still slept with it on.. You will still get tiny little ants in your room if you leave anything sweet and sticky out overnight like glasses of pop etc. So don't. And still not enough sunbeds around pool... Especially when ignorant guest leave towels on them but unused for all of the morning. But like I say minor points and the positives always win over.

Tout était parfait : le cadre, la propreté, le calme et surtout le personnel qui est vraiment exceptionnel, incroyablement gentil, attentionné et toujours souriant. Mention spéciale pour la superbe attention à l’occasion de l’anniversaire de mon mari : un gâteau et une très jolie décoration dans notre chambre, une surprise qui nous a énormément touchés. L’emplacement est également parfait, pratique et agréable pour profiter de Koh Lanta. Honnêtement, rien à redire. Tout était parfait du début à la fin.

- Bettina (8/5): Wir würden wieder kommen. - Die Geräumigkeit der Zimmer ist wirklich besonders, das haben wir bei einem Aufenthalt von 7 Tagen sehr genossen. Alles was wir über die Unterkunft gebucht haben (Massage, Transfer, Wäscheservice, Motorroller) war unkompliziert und hat hervorragend geklappt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Stimmung im Team scheint sehr gut zu sein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt weil man immer einen Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung hatte, man aber auch völlig "unbehelligt" Kommen und Gehen konnte, so dass es sich schnell wie ein zu Hause angefühlt hat. Gereinigt wird wann immer es gewünscht ist, was man durch ein Schild an der Tür signalisieren konnte. Zum Strand muss man über die Straße und ist in fünf Minuten am nördlichen Strandende. Infrastruktur gibt es fußläufig sowohl am Strand als auch an der Straße. Wir haben tagsüber meist mit dem Motorroller die anderen Strände an der Westküste erkundet (dafür ist die Ausgangslage der Unterkunft sehr gut) und haben abends die örtlichen Restaurants und Standbars in Anspruch genommen. Die Frühstücksterrasse liegt direkt an der Straße, was zu einer gewissen Lautstärke führt, so dass wir uns beim Frühstück nie länger aufgehalten haben als nötig. Aber dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts und das lässt sich wahrscheinlich auch schwer ändern. Von vornherein etwas mehr Möglichkeiten zum Zusammenstellen des Frühstücks wäre für Frühstücksenthusiasten sicher wünschenswert. Sonderwünsche werden zwar erfüllt, aber man mag auch nicht jeden Tag danach fragen.

The staff were absolutely incredible and the accommodation itself was very nice. I didn’t dislike anything as you have to appreciate that you’re in the middle of nowhere so the specs of the property won’t be of a 5* like in Bangkok.

We stayed here for three nights and had such a lovely time. There are so many breakfast options to choose from. It was my partners birthday and they even organised a cake for him! Would highly recommend staying here. Nothing it was perfect!

We had a problem with our bunks beds and shower, they moved us immediately but we saw their maintenance man fix shower head as soon as we moved. 2min walk to the beach, with numerous bars and restaurants. Limited beds around pool,wasn't really an issue as we always got one but they could do with some more for guest who get to the pool later in the day. Nobody saved chairs which was great. Need bins by pool.

Nearest beach across the street, walkable. For the high season price, hotel is overpriced. Wifi was very unreliable, breakfast was very basic. Rooms are very dark with design flaws for the lightning, same as shower are is not very well thought out. If you have delicate clothes, don't use their laundry service, it's hardcore washing, they return them clean but feels they have been used for ages.

Die Damen an der Rezeption sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit! Der Bungalow hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen- sehr groß, hell, sehr sauber, TV mit Netflix! Pool ladet zum Entspannen ein!

- Zeyneb (8/5): Tolles Resort - Schöne Unterkunft in Ko Lanta, die alles hat was man auf der Insel braucht. Man ist sehr zentral, Roller komme gemietet werden. Wäsche wurde gewaschen und das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und geben auch gerne Tipps :)

- david (8/5): A lovely bungalow in a nice resort. Next time I would stay in a resort on the beachside, of which there are many. - Spacious bungalows. Separate lounge and bedroom but aircon only in bedroom. Property was more or less deserted when I was there 8-11 December. Restaurant and service very good. Lots of shops etc. nearby. I would come back. It was cheap as well. As in most of Thailand I saw, the staff speak no or very little English. It's on a busy road, although some bungalows are set back from it. You have to cross the road and walk about 5-10 minutes to the beach.

- Laura (8/5): Lanta Lapaya ticked all the boxes for an affordable & relaxing holiday. - Overall very good value for money. We visited in November 2025 & paid approximately £30 a night. Although not a beachfront location, it only takes a couple of minutes walk to feel the sand between your toes. Staff were all incredibly friendly & helpful. Rooms spacious, clean & functional. Housekeeping on request by hanging the ‘make up room’ sign on the door. Water, coffee/creamer & toilet paper topped up every morning. Choice of breakfast sets. Pool area is lovely with cushioned loungers & sunshades, plenty big enough for doing proper laps - it was always virtually empty during our visit 🙂. Rented a scooter from reception for B250 a day. Laundry service reasonably priced with very quick turn around. Khong Klong is only a smallish resort but has plenty of dining options, a small 7/11, a mini Big C, etc so it’s easy to get everyday essentials. The beach is pleasant & it is possible to swim at high tide. Low tide exposes the rocks which are great for a spot of rock pooling & shell collecting. Secret Beach & Beautiful Beach (small entry charge) are within walking distance. We liked the location as it’s about half way down the west coast, so we found it ideal for exploring the island - Nui Beach was our favourite find.

- Laura (9/5): Comfortable small-scale resort with nice pool - Nice small-scale resort, great pool to relax in a beautiful garden, big and comfortable bungalow. It’s a 5min walk to the beach and restaurants on the main street in 2-3min walking (our favorites were The Angels restaurant (!!), Bow’s pizza if you crave a cheesy pizza and Bamboo restaurant) as well as a shop and currency exchange. Our warm water was not working when we arrived but they immediately fixed it, staff was very friendly and attentive. Nothing to mention
