• paolo (8/5): Vicino alla città vecchia - Camere grandi per famiglie con letti a castello, bagno grande. Pulizia in camera da migliorare. Posizione ottima a pochi minuti a piedi dalla porta di Jaffa. Reception sempre presente e cortese. Colazione insufficiente.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Filthy and Loud - Check in was fine, nice gal at the desk showed us a map and took he time to explain how to get around. Upon return the desk and security were not friendly. The room was dirty. The carpet was very old and tile in bathroom gross. The TV did not work. We asked for our beds to be split and bedding for them, as requested on the reservation. The staff showed up and asked again what we needed. He returned and made the bed. The beds do not have mattress covers on them. I have never seen this in a hotel. The floor between our now split beds was filthy. There was an organized party going on when we came in at 1030pm. We called the desk and were told it would end at 11. It continued on until midnight. We were denied a room change stating they were full. (Sure did not appear full). After the loud music and party ended, the clean up and moving of large loud items continued until about 2am.

• Verified traveler (8/5): OK hotel, men lidt kedeligt. - Selve værelset og hotellet var rimelig kedeligt. Der er dog ikke noget at klage på, alt fungerde godt og var i orden, men det savner lidt hygge. Vi var dog glade for tagterrassen, som vi benyttede meget og havde næsten for os selv. Beliggenhed er fin i forhold til den gamle bydel. Vi var en familie på 5.
• Jean-Marc (8/5): Perfekte Lage - Der Ort liegt perfekt. Die Anlage wird nicht gut gereinigt und der Esssaal sah auch schon besser aus. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Angestellte.
• Beat (2/5): Sehr schmutzig! - Gut gelegen. Parkplatz ca. in 300m verfügbar gegen angemessenen Entgelt. Personal am Empfang freundlich ansonsten eine absolute Katastrophe und nicht gemäss Bilder! Sehr sehr schmutzig!!!

We had to mop the bathroom floor every time we showered, because the water ran everywhere. The only positive for us was the service at breakfast. The gentleman was super nice and helpful.

(אין באתר תמונות של חדרי הארחה, אם הייתי רואה את החדר לפני כן בטוח לא הייתי מזמינה שם!!)סדינים לא נקיים מבד לא נעים ועוקץ. ביקשנו לול עבור התינוקת. שמו לנו לול קמפינג ללא מזרון. נאלצנו לשים לה בתור מזרון פוך עם כריות בפנים. קיבלנו מגבות לא לפי כמות האנשים. בחדר האוכל מפת השולחן הייתה ממש מלוכלכת שביקשנו להחליף נעננו בסירוב. ביקשנו כסא אוכל לתינוקת אמרו לנו שיש רק כסא אחד בחדר האוכל והוא כבר בשימוש של משפחה אחרת. אז נכון שילמנו מחיר נמוך אבל מינימום של שירות הוא דבר מתבקש בכל מחיר.
• Tom (4/5): - Room are in very bad condition, but worse than that is that they are very dirty. food tests on the sticky floor, hairs everywhere, even on the beds, mold in the shower and in the fridge, dark spots (...) on the toilet, even on the wall and floor around.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - The order was for hotel room as in the photo but they gave us an hostel room which not in the photo. However the manager Mr. Nisim was very kind and helpful and gave us the next day the room we ordered. He was grat snd very professional.
• Octavio (10/5): Our family vacation to Israel. - It was amazing! Walking distance to all major attractions. The price was less than most surrounding hotels. Breakfast was great! Hotel was safe with security guard.
• Miki (6/5): - I called the hotel before closing the site I was told that if we needed to make a change in the room there would be no problem because we came as a family of 5 people. Only after I got upset and shouted was a change in the room and linen that was not clean at all changed. It is not said that if necessary we will get a room in the hostel instead of the hotel because we are 5 people (2 adults + 3 children).

• Kru (6/5): - It would be a pretty good place to stay if it wasn't so dirty. The sheets, bathroom, utensils at breakfast were all pretty nasty. When we asked the cleaners if they could clean the bathroom after we checked in (hair and mold everywhere) they said they are not required to do that. Breakfast was good but between the dead roaches in the bread basket and the food still stuck on the utensils and plates, we passed most days. We booked last minute for Xmas week and this was only thing available, albeit at a ridiculously high price. I would not reccomend this place if you have other options. Location was good though. If you do stay here, have the expectations of a dirty hostel, not a hotel.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Disappointed - The hotel/hostel is definitely going downhill. I've stayed there before and it was simply not as nice. The carpets are old and stained in the room, the sheets were stained. Breakfast was awful: cold eggs, juice as thin as water, no fresh coffee, only instant. Location is terrific, but they can't rely on that.

• Ole (8/5): - One thing should be noted regarding this property: The main photo, showing the tinted half-domed balconies, doesn't show the property itself, but the building in front of it. One can see the roof of the property in this photo in the background. It being the tinted cone. This photo is very misleading. The property is quite different. And the view from the room is severely obstructed and limited. I would strongly suggest checking Google Street View to get a better idea of the building. Having said that, the property is exactly as described and as might be expected, in a very positive way. Rooms are very spacious. Breakfast is surprisingly (to Israel) rich and more than adequate. Location simply couldn't be better in Jerusalem (Mamilla).

• Joshua (8/5): Good and basic accommodations close to Old City - The location was the best part. It is an easy walk to the Old City. Breakfast was good but keep in my in mind Israeli breakfasts are much more salad and veggie based than American. The room was spacious but nothing special. Services are quite minimal though so if you need a concierge, laundry, room service etc it is not the best place for you.

• Asaf (4/5): Shared dormitory is disaster - I paid an arm and a leg and booked the shared dormitory to find filthy linens and filthy towels. The breakfast was barely edible. The only thing good about it was the walking distance to the old city.

• Verified traveler (6/5): 5 star location, 2 star hotel - Location is 5 star, hotel itself is 2 star or less. While the total price is still high, but taxes is about 55%. If you want a hotel similar to Hilton Garden Inn/Hampton Inn in the U.S., you probably would have to pay double of what you pay for this hotel.
• John (8/5): Great location near Jaffa Gate - The location is great: a short walk to the beautiful Mamilla Mall. Walk through the Mall to the Jaffa Gate of the Old City. Inexpensive compared to the hotels surrounding it (King David, Citadel of David). Convient to many restaurants and shops. Rooms are clean and comfortable but not luxurious. Bathrooms are clean and adequate. Breakfast had multiple selections of good food. Breakfast staff a little curt but front desk people very helpful. I would certainly go back.

• Shaun (2/5): Stay elsewhere - The first room we stayed in was a 6 bunk military barracks with one outlet and a small bathroom that had 1/2 an inch of soap scum on the shower glass. The TV was a 13 inch set at 8 ft off the ground and we couldn't get it to work. We paid $160 for this. My wife talked to the receptionist and she was nice enough to move us into an "actual" room. It was much better, but still overpriced for what we got. The TV in this room was much better, the shower was great! But breakfast was bad. Very dirty and awkward. The new imperial in the old city is where I'm writing this review from and it is cheaper and better. Look for somewhere else.
