Non bene - Pulita Colazione scarsa e trasandata Richiesto più volte accensione aria condizionata perché in stanza si moriva di caldo, la loro risposta è che l avrebbero accesa il giorno 15. Quindi io sono stata una settimana a soffrire il caldo perché loro non l’hanno accesa prima

• Christopher (8/5): - I was in Istanbul having dental treatment, the hotel was three doors along from my dentist. The staff were excellent and very accommodating to my needs. The city view from the restaurant are excellent. I would of liked some coffee sachets in my room and I wasn't keen on the decoration but all in all it was more than adequate

• Svein (8/5): - Hotellet ser flott ut eksteriørmessig. Interiørmessig begynner hotellet og bli slitt, men her er jo oppussing i gang flere steder så dette lover godt. Samtidig så er servicen på dette hotellet meget bra. En oppfølging av gjester som må være av det beste i Istanbul. Bildene sier noe om slitasje på det rommet jeg fikk først, men jeg fikk nytt og bedre rom når jeg kontaktet resepsjonen. Ingen nøling eller forsøk på å diskutere, fikk et nytt rom øyeblikkelig. Frokostbuffeen var god, men dessverre sto lokkene på varm-maten åpen så den var jo kald da jeg kom. Restauranten er selvfølgelig på toppen og der kan du både nyte flott utsikt og sikkert også god mat, men jeg kjøpte pizza og det vil jeg ikke anbefale noen å kjøpe for de lager den ikke selv. Det var frossen ferdigpizza som smakte papp med litt krydder på toppen. De har jo eget kjøkken og mat de lager fra bunnen av! Kjære, ikke server frossenpizza for det blir en skikkelig nedtur.

Good hotel, slightly worn for its price. Restaurant at the hotel. Waiting for a lunch order was one hour and a half for a single dish. Next day breakfast wasn’t ready in time. Taste of food was lost due to time shortage, caused by untimely service.

• Regi (7/5): Decent business hotel with good breakfast - I enjoyed the daily breakfast- great selection and beautiful view. Internet was fast. We requested that the hotel make special arrangements for our wedding anniversary and they made some romantic decor at no extra cost- I really appreciated that. Staff were helpful and attentive. The thermostat was unchangeable, so the room was either freezing or too warm. We also had to change rooms because of a bad smell which made the room unliveable- however the staff accommodated this. We also found that we needed 20min+ taxis every day to/from main tourist attractions and city centre.

• Milton (8/5): All over our stay was Okay, We will stay in this hotel again without any question. - Breakfast was excellent Buffet at the top floor with city view and relaxing. Starting the day with delicious breakfast with Tea/Coffee makes our stay more comfortable and relaxing. Lift service require little modification and maintanence.

There were multiple things that were broken in my room and the bathroom had a window that showed through the room and even though there were blinds you could still see through it. I stayed with a friend so that made us both uncomfortable. The bedding was weird and the shower would keep changing from hot to cold no matter what i did.

Also the area neighboring the hotel was very nice , nice restaurants, shops & good malls . Also there were nice parks near the hotel. Only very small & dirty room for Gym ??? , we can say no Gym at all . The location of hotel very close to noisy street & the windows not prevent street noises , I couldn't sleep comfortable at all . Also no swimming pool. Although the breakfast was simple, but it was nice & ENOUGH. The rooms were small & not so comfortable.

Room cleanliness was good, they change the linen and towel every day. Breakfast was Okay for our taste. There are so many eating places in surrounding area. Was away from main attractions but it was helpful to visit other areas other then main tourist areas. If know the transportation system then may be good place to live. For breakfast they should add more options like egg omelet, egg scramble, bread. They should also add regular tea bags so that guests have more option as per their taste.

• LATIF (2/5): - dirty and old toilets , couldn't sleep because of the noisy road next to us . We asked to move us to another room but it was exactly the same noisy and dirty floor. Could smell cigarette everywhere even though we requested smoke free area. Location was bad ..really busy street. But staff was friendly and did their best yo help. Hotel needs to be upgraded to good standard, windows needs to be doubles glazed as road next to it quite busy and noisy.

• Jeti143 (6/5): Not as I expected !! - I have spend about a week at this hotel, room are clean and spacios, wifi dosen't work very good, with the moments, breakfast is good and variety avery morning, the staff of breakfast is 👌👌. I have one time dinner with my father the food is not so good but instead of quality i order ravioli with pesto alla genovese and they bring to me ravioli with mashroom and panna and peppers, that means if i'm alergic suppose to dead? I ask the waiter and he try to told me that what i order but i have insist to bring a menu and on menu is exaclty what i said before ravioli with pesto alla genovese, i was very disappointed, i understand is COVID-19 as menu can be reduce but you have to told.
• 28raymondj (8/5): Friendly COVID Safe Hotel in a welcoming part of Istanbul - My first venture abroad in 6 months has seen me travel to Istanbul as an health tourist staying at the Marnas Hotel. First of all this is not a 4 star hotel in the true sense. It is a clean, friendly hotel with some good local shops and restaurants all with walking distance at prices that are not over priced to rip tourists off. The hotel has worked hard to be COVID safe with plenty of hand sanitiser and screens, Complimentary face masks are in everyone room, welcome to the new normal !! Breakfast is basic but nice and served on the top floor with excellent views of the working class suburb of Bayrampasa. The only negative points of the hotel was that they have no Iron and Ironing board, which was a huge surprise and disappointing and the WiFi was woefully slow. The gym fitness suite was basic and could do with some upgrading. Outside of the hotel directly opposite is a currency exchange, Be careful as I changed £100 sterling and received only £50 on Turkish Lira. After I complained they corrected it. Local Restaurants, Coffee Shops and Barbers are in abundance and keenly priced. my favourite was Kofte Time where you can get a three course meal with drinks for £10 equivalent. Breakfast equivalent was the Bahane Coffee shop where for68 Turkish Lira you get a massive breakfast for two with all you can drink Turkish Tea. If you want to meet genuine Turkish people who speak little English, Eat what they eat at prices they pay, Go stay here and venture outside the hotel within a 300 metre radius you can mix in with locals and with mutual respect you will enjoy each others company and culture.

• tabank2019 (2/5): THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. the standard of the hotel s not 4 star. - The standard of the hotel is not 4 star. We were upset about the bad location of the hotel , other than described. The bathroom was not very clean, incredibly small towels , grey and very old.during my 7 day stay at the hotel they did not clean the bath. shower gel and shampoo very bad. In spite of it was written that the room have Ironing facilities, but I was disappointed upon arrival that there was no iron in the room. I tried to complain this morning, but they said I have to pay for laundry, they even not taking laundry from the room. I have to bring my laundry to the lobby and for the next day pick it again from the lobby from (9 am to 6 pm) and because I was during that time out of the hotel , sooo I could not have my cleaned dress until I checked out from the hotel , because they will not bring laundry to your room. -Room cleaning makes room very badly and during my stay 7 day they did not change Bed linen. Bed linen grey smelly uncleaned. They did not even vacuum clean the room during the whole week Minibar was Zero. old and empty Refrigerator. I asked for water, they did not bring, so we bought water by by myself. There was coffee maker in the room, but no coffee. Very bad air conditioning. Very very bad WiFi provided. so overall, the standard of the hotel s not 4 star.

• 243vict (8/5): Nice stay, would stay again - The hotel is quite nice, rooms spacious, staff helpful and you get plenty of choice for breakfast. Bed was comfortable, I usually struggle if the mattress is too soft, fortunately the bed was comfortable and mattress good. Cleaner very helpful, receptionists also helpful.The cleaner visits every day and replenish tea bags and you get 2 small bottles of drinking water. The also replenish shower/body wash liquid every day. There is a small fridge in each room, so you can store water, or some food if needed.  The hotel is slightly away from the main tourist attractions but a 10min ride on Metro gets you to the old city (Byrampasha Metro station is 5-6min walk from the hotel). The same Metro station is where you get on the train to get you to the airport (approx 30min). I was there to do some private work, so needed to be in this, specific area and it was convenient. Plenty of local food shops, restaurants just 1-2min walking distance, near the big mosque (it was interesting walking around the area to see how local people live, many small businesses, workshops and small, family shops everywhere).  The only, minor downside of the hotel is a very busy road outside BUT this did not bother me because I always take some ear-plugs with me when travel away, so the traffic outside wasn't an issue.  Would come back again.

Stay away - I am writing this review while laying in bed at 4 am unable to sleep due to stuff setting up for breakfast the floor above me - the furniture is getting dragged around, cutlery and plates are making noises I've never knew to be that painful. It's been like this since 1.30am, reception stuff are unhelpful in resolving this in any way, internet connection is too slow to get some sleep music on. It is hell...second night in the row! Add to it that they Hoover at 10pm, have no iron in the entire building and aircons that are old and don't cool off the room in less than 2 hours - the hotel is a trap to be avoided. If you value rest and sleep, stay away!!!!!!
• mn339 (2/5): Not so good - We stayed for 7 nights in this hotel, hotel was clean but that was it , the place was so far from everything to visit ,I extremely don’t suggest it for tourists,you may spend alot of time and money in transfer, metro station was 15 min walked , bus station was near but bus schedules was not regularly and it was annoying, they cleaned room every day but they didn’t charge shampoo and other stuff every time even if it was empty, one night we were out of money and all exchanges was close and we need 10 lira for taxi , but they didn’t pay it and they said it is forbidden, and they took euro from us and changes it to lowest price in lira to pay our taxi.I think this hotel is not a good idea for tourists.
• wolfw915 (6/5): My third visit to istanbul - Every morning while guests eat thier breakfast, they play "the hotel" the same music,i couldn't bear it, for 10 days i heard the same music over and over again, it's like a psychological torture,the location wasn't so good for me, it wasn't strategic , i was in better locations around istanbul befor,maybe others will find it good. I think Staff needs to take courses to improve thier English language skills. Lights in the gym were always off, every morning i call the reception to send someone to turn on the lights. It's my third visit to istanbul but my first to Marnas hotels, The staff was very friendly and cooperative and helpful, especially Yilmaz and Mehmet in the reception,in general the people of istanbul were very friendly,security staff and people in metro stations and streets were helpful, giving me guidance and direction and information about stations and places i was looking for. the decor of the hotel was quite beautiful and clean,breakfast was exquisite. The location was very quiet.
• Decemeu (2/5): Not everybody is a thief - I stayed at this hotel between 07-13.12.2016. I was surprised and very uncomfortable when they demanded payment in advance. But not in the first day at check-in, they demanded payment in advance at second day. This made me feel like they treat me as a thief. More than this, when I told them that i never herd about something like this, the receptionist said that he don't want to pay for me if I run without payment!!! I will never go again at this hotel. Also I ain't recomand to anybody to go there, maybe just to thieves.
• J1295OPmichaelb (10/5): Wonderfull - l been There for business it was new hotel and good decoration. You must see it , they put a old car in the first floor. Best location for business. Room Clean and confortable. Staff smiling and helpfull especialy front desk friendly Mr.
• niania94 (10/5): Amazing place in Istanbul! - I couldn't imagine better place to stay in Istanbul than this hotel! I spent there wonderful 8 days on the project and everything was totally perfect! And these rooms and food!... ah! I highly recommend you this hotel. It is located in Bayrampasa district and it is not far away from the centre of Istanbul :)
