The bathrooms were so odd although I suppose functional and generally clean. I was surprised there was no kitchen. This was not at ALL worth the price.
• Haynes (9/5): I’m going back! - Location is perfect! Walk to food and shopping. Close to ski area. The hostess, Marthalaura, was great. Reservation and check in was easy. I want to come back and try a motel room with my wife. I was in the bunks hostel this trip. You could feel the slats through the mattress the first night (bunk C rm 203…if I recall correctly) second night, different bed, no problem.

• michelle (8/5): Great value for location and space. Will stay again and again. - The facilities exceeded my expectations. After reading reviews, I was expecting very basic amenities. I was surprised about a few things like a coffee maker, electric kettle, plenty of space, etc. This is a hostel; travel light. Bring/buy food that is easy to warm/make with a microwave and kettle and/or premade, if possible. Bring a multi-plug device, ear plugs and eye mask - people are moving early and plugs can be limited. Lodgers need to reduce their bags/boxes to open up more room for others in the fridges. The beds could use a little refresh and a smidge more bedding (manageable though; bring your own). Parking can be limited due to snow; park smart.

Easy check-in/out for after hours. It is a dorm-style hostel with shared bathrooms, but that is to be expected with a hostel vs. hotel.

• Mark (9/5): Went here for some snowboarding - Loved the price of the hostel, the location (so close to the village), the friendly staff, the dope roommates and folks staying at the hostel, the heater is running everywhere, hot water, kitchen, fridge. The price and location is just unbeatable and really inarguable. For a solo traveler, this is the perfect spot. There's history at this legendary spot, but with that comes the aging floorboards (nitpicky) and I would say the bed wasn't the most comfortable, but this is a hostel and for the price and location that it offers, I'll gladly bring an extra sleeping pad to get comfy on and extra pillows if needed.

• Doiron (8/5): All in all it's a good price. It's a great clean place. - I like this place. I have stayed here before. This time it was quiet because the season is in between the busy season. During the peak seasons, it's very noisy especially if you are on the first floor where the kitchen and living room are. From before...I couldn't take the noise even when you're in your room. The walls are thin. From time to time, the doors are slammed shut.

• Nicholas (4/5): Okay but wouldn’t stay again - Good location We thought it seemed strange that there are signs everywhere saying you can’t use a personal gas stove or other portable cooking options. Of course this made sense when we went to the kitchen and noticed there is no stove top or oven to cook. Your only option to “cook” is a microwave…. I can’t believe that and have never experienced that. That is definitely something that should be advertised in the booking description because it’s so abnormal for a hostel. On top of that there is no “hostel” staff to be seen since the hostel is just a separate building of a hotel, which doesn’t make for a welcoming vibe.

• Kevin (8/5): - This is nice place to stay. It’s clean and quiet. However please get new mattresses that are actually comfortable. And offer real blankets instead of sheet thin tiny blankets. Also the pillows are extremely flat and worn out. Bedding in general please update. Other than that house keeping is really good and it’s a cool place to stay.

• Rachel (2/5): Very uncomfortable - The bottom bunk I was placed on was no room and it was too low, I had to sit on the chair. My roommate was shorter than me but she was placed on the bunk that have higher room. How there only be one outlet for the entire room? Also my roommate had a personal light but mine didn't. The outlet wasn't anywhere near my bunk. Why is it a space heater not a central heater? Space heater wasn't even strong enough.

The worst part was the toilet and bathroom it was completely open like 4 people can see you completely without any door curtain nothing. Never saw that design in my life.

Posizione vicino alla cittadina dove hai dei servizi ma non usufruibili a piedi. Hai il parcheggio Camera molto piccola e non c era nessuno alla reception al nostro arrivo anche se ci hanno fatto trovare le chiavi, quindi il check in é stato facile. Per una notte vabenissimo.

• Valerie (9/5): I will be back! - This little gem saved my life. I had just been in a near miss accident with a semi and so I headed to the mountains to get grounded. I didn't know where I was going, just away from the freeway and semi trucks. I ended up here and it was such a blessing. The staff is Awesome! The beds comfy. I extended 3 times because I didn't want to leave:))) It was great. The "boys" were a little rowdy the first night and I could hear them up and down the stairs but, hey, it's a Hostel!
• Kristin (2/5): Not clean - Good location The hostel was really gross and not cleaned properly. The kitchen smelled like rotting food and the smell was throughout the hostel. The bathroom was also absolutely disgusting and not cleaned properly. It stank and was full of old junk.

When I come back to the hostel after skiing they are still vacuuming and talking very loudly when I would like to have a nap.

Highly recommended! - Familiar, small and cozy house with small dorm rooms (2 beds) clever locker solution, kitchen nice for communication with dishes, microwave, fridge and water cookers (no stove or oven), good parking area with shadow in front of the house. Central location, Diners, gas station and good grocery within 1 mile walking distance. No complains at all.

• Miguel (8/5): - I liked that it was quiet, but that was probably due to that it wasn't high peak season and there weren't that many people staying there. It's an older place, but I didn't have any issues with the place, and I didn't need to speak to anyone about services. The bathroom rugs need to be replaced; they were discolored, and one of them was a towel, not a rug. I also liked that there are many places where you can walk to, such as restaurants and shops. Also, the town has one of the best skate parks I have ever visited. I was never told about amenities, and I noticed that there was a jacuzzi there, which I later found out was available for guests, but I was already leaving when I found out.
