Guest Reviews
- Ramon (10/5): Fantastic - Everything was beyond our expectations , we will comeback in the future
- Francisco (8/5): - The house and views are absolutely beautiful. The tour of how they make wines was great and the owner is extremely welcoming. I changed the amount of guests so it was my mistake in the first place but I was charged two additional times which felt l was being nickel and dimed.
- alma (9/5): We truly enjoyed our time at this property. - The property was beautiful and clean. The views and the space was perfect.
- Paul (10/5): - Pure Magic. Book it! Everything was perfect.
- Todd (9/5): - Excellent location and view of the valley.
- Danny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizondo (10/5): It truly was amazing. I cannot wait until I go back. - The host, Alejandro, is amazing! He greeted us with a bottle of rosé from his own vineyard and showed us everything that we needed to know about Rancho Cien Piedras. I felt like a king during my entire stay. There are so many cool places nearby, like a gas station, a convenience store, breweries, wineries, eateries, etc. The property is on another level. High caliber. I honestly didn't want to leave, and I simply can't wait to go back. There are dirt roads all over Guadalupe de Valle, not to mention jacked-up roads that include unexpected speed bumps and potholes galore. The only negative I would say about this stay is that there is a dirt road that you need to take to get there, and if you are unfamiliar or inexperienced with driving in that type of terrain, your car may get stuck, and it's possible to damage your vehicle. But if you are able to conquer that hill (literally a dirt hill), your stay there will be unforgettable.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (7/5): Good - Super friendly host that is a winemaker and tells you about his wines, lets you taste them and was super kind and gifted us a bottle. Nice room and bathroom with nice views but it's all glass and a bit exposed in case there are other folks on the property walking by (wasn't the case with us). It got pretty cold once the sun set but the A/C ended up heating it pretty well. Host didn't have an official electric car charger but a regular US-style outlet right outside the cabin worked perfectly for trickle charging overnight which was plenty for us. Parts of the property are under construction, doesn't feel put together end to end, there are so many other more beautiful properties in Valle in this price range so definitely shop around and look at other options too. It's not a resort or hotel but just a few units the host built on his property.
- Ethan (10/5): Exceptional - The privacy, big space, the view. If you are relying on uber, you'll have a hard time in the valley in general. Rent a car or drive up here.
- Rafael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joan (10/5): Would definitely come stay here again! Very romantic and beautiful! - Loved how we had the entire property to ourselves, the lower pool was BEAUUUTIFUL! Our room had views of Valle, nice AC, winds, comfy bed and he gave us free Rosé! When we checked in we had to wait for 30-40 mins for someone to unlock our door for us. The bathroom shower was a bit clogged so it flooded over your feet a bit but never outside of the bathroom so it was fine.
- Esmeralda (10/5): Excellent peaceful and serene place. Perfect for a get away. - The property is beautiful and the pools were great overlooking the vineyard and the valley. Dr. Alejandro was a great host. The trees in front of the room are overgrown so it partially blocked the beautiful view of the valley.
- Maxime (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Brenda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kanika (10/5): Great hospitality overall and very welcoming. Great host! - We were given a warm welcome and full home tour by Alejandro. The wine cellar and tasting was a bonus. I wished we could stay longer. We felt very comfortable staying here. Nothing, it was perfect!
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tommaso (8/5): Very good - Amazing property with the best host! Alejandro was very kind and upon arrival he gave us a tour of the property with a bottle of the wine he produce on the property. I will be staying here again in the future.
- Johnson (10/5): Stunning property on a beautiful vineyard! - Alejandro was extremely welcoming and friendly upon our arrival. The property itself was stunning, comfortable, clean and perfect for our group of 4. Thank you, Alejandro for your hospitality and the delicious wine!!
- Raquel (9/5): Our host Alejandro was the BEST. We fell in love with this ranch. It was beautiful and peaceful. - The location was absolutely breathtaking. We can't wait to return. On our second night, we couldn't get the lights from our patio to turn on.
- Vincent (10/5): Would definitely return, gorgeous location. - Alejandro’s hospitality is infectious. He loves the property and wants to make your stay the best he can. Beautiful spot !!
- Sinead (10/5): Exceptional -
- Summer (10/5): Must-visit vacation rental with exceptional hospitality, stunning property, and unforgettable experi - We recently had the pleasure of staying at Rancho Cien Piedras in Valle de Guadalupe with a group of 10, and I cannot recommend this vacation rental enough. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Alejandro greeted us with a bottle of wine and a tour of his stunning property. He was incredibly hospitable, and we felt welcomed and at home.
We ended up reaching out to a car service that Dr. Alejandro recommended (Baja Wine & Sun Tours). The driver Alain was fantastic and took us to some of the best wineries and restaurants in the area. Speaking of restaurants, there is a must-visit farm-to-table restaurant just around the corner called "The Deck at Enkanto." The food was outstanding, and the host, Beto, was friendly and accommodating. I think they are open for breakfast and lunch on the weekends only.
The real highlight of our trip was the wine tasting in Dr. Alejandro's wine cellar. It was a unique and unforgettable experience to taste his exceptional wine and learn about his passion and knowledge for winemaking. The cellar was a beautiful and intimate space, and we felt like we were sharing a special moment with a friend.
The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, and we wish we had spent more time there. Each house had good wifi, the kitchens were well equip, and the property could not have been more clean and manicured.
Overall, our stay at Rancho Cien Piedras was exceptional, and we would 100% stay here again. Our only regret was not spending more time at the property. Thank you, Dr. Alejandro, for your incredible hospitality and for making our stay so memorable! I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about my stay at Rancho Cien Piedras in Valle de Guadalupe. From the warm welcome by Dr. Alejandro, to the comfortable and spacious houses, to the outstanding wine tasting in his cellar, everything about this vacation rental was exceptional. The location, the car service, the nearby restaurant, and the peaceful atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect vacation rental in Valle de Guadalupe.
- Tatiana (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (10/5): it was a relaxing time with my family, and we can’t wait to visit again - Wonderful location, beautiful grounds and an incredible view. Alejandro was a great host. when we arrived he showed us around the grounds and brought us into his barrel room where we tried his wine. it was delicious and we ended up bringing several bottles home. There are three individual homes on the property and can’t wait to come back with more family/friends and rent out all of them. We’d hardly have to leave, since there is a kitchen, grill, a pool, and wine to buy from the host (at a very reasonable price). And the restaurant at En’Kanto is a short walk down the hill and absolutely delicious. really nothing. it was a perfect stay and was exactly what we hoped it.
- Zachery (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zachery (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathryn (10/5): Great location for wine tasting in Valle de Guadalupe. Would recommend this hideaway for couples or families. The other - loved the charm and the fact that there’s a winery on the property. Alejandro was such a great host. The bed was comfortable and the views were great.
- Jean (10/5): Exceptional - No Breakfast but there is a spot right next to where you can walk!
- Marius (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexandria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (10/5): a beautiful home away from home! - the pools, the decks, the sitting
areas, the cool wine room! and
nearby restaurants for breakfast
and wine tasting!
- Ricardo (10/5): very recommended. would definitely come back. - everything, from the owners who are a great couple, very attentive to the magnificent place. a very private vineyard. Alejandro gave us a tour of the cellars and vineyard (of course gave us some wine).
