Guest Reviews
- Jamie (2/5): Horrible experience!! - The room was not that clean. The woman who runs the place should not be working in a Customer Service position!! She doesn't understand the meaning. She was extremely rude and very racist. I will never again stay at this motel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Not fully wifi and not clean snd lack of maintainance
- Jessica (6/5): - For a standard motel, it was cleaner and more comfortable than expected. The 2 hotel staff appeared to live at the motel and the lady who checked me in around 8pm came into my room in the morning without knocking, which was unsettling since I was exiting the shower; it was unprofessional and scared me. The bathroom didnt have shampoo or conditioner; only a small bar of soap. Very basic motel; the room met expectation for the price paid. I wouldnt stay here again if in the area though.
- Terry (2/5): No hot water, telephone to office not working, tel - Television not working, were told not to use other bed, telephone to office not working, no hot water, pillows very flat, will not return to this motel! Disappointed!
- Ron (4/5): Cheap for a reason - Apart from clean and comfy beds this motel was very disappointing. Dirty small rooms and not even coffee in the room to make it even a tiny bit comfy.
- Verified traveler (6/5): outdated motel - It was ok. It needed electric updated. Extension cords for everything. The pillows were old and stained and flat. The manager knocked at 1015 asking if we were staying and checkout was 11.. It seemed odd
- David (6/5): Decent cheap place to stay - Adequate. Certainly no complaints, just looking for a cheap and clean place. It was sufficient for that purpose. Lots of natural areas to explore in the area.
- tex (4/5): Is not a Cadillac of a motel. - You have to plug in your refrigerator. The AC was rattling very loudly when the compressor engaged. Mold in closet. Only went here because all other hotels were sold out for hurricane Matthew. Good location walking distance to 2-3 restaurants. Only had a dozen channels on their cable system to watch.
- Tobey (8/5): Pleasant Surprise - I had a business trip that required a one night stay and I did not want to spend a lot of money. I found the Cadillac Motel online and it looked nice so I made the reservation. When I arrived in Chieftan it was a little hard to find, when I stopped to ask directions I was told I shouldn't stay at the motel because it was not safe and dirty it was late so I went on to the motel anyway. I was very pleasantly surprised the owner was pleasant and the room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I was very pleased and would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never Stay again - Maintenance offered drugs to the employees and there were many people in and out of the room next door.
- Verified traveler (6/5): First time in Florida - Was not a king sized bed. Sheets were too small, towels were very small. Mostly quiet except for traffic. Directly across from State Park!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never again - Bedsheets looks dirty. Towels smells. Weak hot water. Not very clean
- Camilla (2/5): - Room was filthy and had a strange smell.
Bathroom was extremly dirty!
Wifi was free but not working in the room, had to stand outside the office.
- james (6/5): good fit - It was a good room for the price and clean.
- james (10/5): Nice spot - It was everything I needed, clean and quiet and updated. My only complaint is that there's some weirdness with the address when getting routed to the property. It is in Fanning Springs not Trenton. The Expedia map showed it correctly for a general location but when it was time for directions it took us to Trenton, had to ask for directions.
- Mike (6/5): Affordable - It was what one could expect for $50 a night. The bathroom and linens were clean but the bedspread and carpet were stained/soiled.
- Mike (6/5): Not up to par but affordable. - I chose this motel as there were no affordable rooms to be had in the area due to a college sports event. The bath was clean and they changed the linens daily. There were not frills but you wouldn't expect any at this price. It was good for the price. I wouldn't put non-smoking rooms next to smoking rooms if I were the management as we had to smell the guests' smoke through our door when they stepped outside. The bedspreads and carpet needed to be cleaned or replaced too due to stains. Also next to what turned out to be a busy highway and the room was only about 50 yards from it.
- Michael (4/5): Don't Expect Much - For the money on an overnight stay, the room was acceptable. Bathroom is old, louvered windows did not give a secure feeling, and the towels were the smallest, thinnest ever. But the worst part was the unfriendly, and bordering on rude, managers. Fifteen minutes before checkout, the manager knocked on the door, as a 'warning'. When we were not out of the room at the top of the hour, we got more knocks. We said we'd be right out, but the manager began yelling at us through the door. When we checked out in the office at 4 mins past the hour, we had to endure more berating by the manager. Never had been treated like that, ever!
- Ric (8/5): Charming but not elegant - Fanning Springs is not a fancy place, but it has great appeal for the outdoor enthusiast. The Cadillac Motel mirrors the town. It is not fancy but it is highly functional. Good night's sleep at a great price.
- thomas (4/5): seen worst - frigs didn't work but nice people.
