• Sarah (9/5): - The staff were very friendly. They have a map of locations that they recommend in the area. It was nice. I had to rent a bath towel for 200 yen. There was also an accommodation tax. If you take the train to Atami, it doesn't look far but the station is on a hill and the accommodation is at the bottom. It is better to take the bus from the station. The short cut has a lot of stairs and is very hard to use when holding luggage.

• asuka (10/5): - 熱海の市街地にあり、飲食店なども多いため観光に便利。 清潔感があってよかった。 ドミトリーに鍵付きのドアがついているのも良かった。 カードキーやシーツの扱いについての説明は受けましたが、2階のライブラリがある事や朝ごはんの予約、ランドリーやシャワールームの使用時間などの口頭説明は無かったです。スタッフさんも沢山の事を毎回伝えるのは大変だと思うので、マニュアルをまとめた物を手渡してもらい一読させてもらえると助かるなと思いました。 スタッフさんはとても優しく感じが良かったです。 おすすめお店などたくさん教えてくれました。 また利用したいと思えるお宿でした。

• 小冉 (10/5): - 這次是第二次去看熱海花火，應該是熱海唯一一家膠囊旅館了....房間隱密性很高木門加鑰匙，大型行李也有專屬櫃子可以放，價位比一般膠囊旅館高，但位置很棒，走路5分鐘就能到煙火場地，到現場會收每天200日幣的城市稅，毛巾需要另外付費可以自備，公共環境微波爐烤箱跟電磁爐都有很方便。

• Lester (10/5): Good base to explore Izu. - Staff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived on a very very rainy day and they helped me with my shoes with scrap paper to soak up the water and a mini-fan to air dry. The place is super comfy. There's lots to eat in the area. I used the location as a launch point to visit different places in the Izu peninsula, and that worked great. Note that Atami Station is on a hill, so going down to Ginza is fine. If you're lugging luggage around though, better use the bus if you're going back up!
• Parinia (8/5): Great overnight stay! - Staff was very friendly. The guy who checked us in explained everything to us in English very well. The capsules were comfortable, and the showers were more spacious than I anticipated. The optional grilled fish was a nice touch, and a great way to experience the local culture. The location was perfect because it was in between the beach and train station, so there was easy access to both. It would have been perfect if it were sunnier during our visit! It was our first time in Japan, and staying in a capsule with friendly staff made it much more comfortable! The paint was peeling in one of our capsules, and the library could have used some improvement to make it feel more comfortable. The capsule rooms are a little warm, so some sort of fan would’ve been nice. The doors also have a small gap underneath, probably for ventilation

• Barbara (9/5): A simple, yet very cosy and nice place to stay, with different cabins to choose from, lovely staff. - Nice atmosphere, kitchen with self-service, breakfast is simple and tasty and you can buy fish across the street and grill it. All equipped with tools to freshly grind and brew your coffee. Super friendly and very nice staff. You get recommendations for the area. Loved it. Great team, thank you. All good, really nothing to complain about.

• Julia Renée (8/5): - Das Personal war extrem freundlich, und der Eigentümer macht seinen Job voller Liebe… Das Hostel hängt mit einem Fischrestaurant zusammen. In diesem Restaurant wird getrocknete Fisch serviert und das ganze Hostel riecht nach diesem Fisch. Man muss also wirklich den Geruch von getrockneten Fisch ertragen können. Für geruchsempfindliche Menschen ist dieses Hostel wirklich nichts.

• Victor (7/5): Wonderful stay, but price is a bit steep - Central in atami, the cubbies you sleep in are spacious (I could stand up inside) and are provided with a fan. Aircon is pretty good though. They provide guidance & discounts on local onsen, which is what atami is all about. You can grill a fish you bought in the morning, which is a fun experience. Provides luggage storage; Spacious lockers could easily fit my 70L backpack. Making my own bed, the price was a bit steep for the amenities provided.
• Jonathan (10/5): Maruya Guest House is an excellent budget friendly place to stay in Atami Japan with super friendly and helpful staff. - I like the friendliness of the staff. They were proactive and reached out to me and were super friendly and helpful versus rigid like at other accommodations. The only thing I didn’t like about the property is that you have to hunch down to get into the lower capsule and it can give you a back ache but if there was a yoga stretch area that would be awesome. They could make a yoga stretch area in the unused area behind the lounge. They also might want to make a kakigori stand as it is super hot in Atami. This would draw in passerby customers.
• Suso (8/5): Cheap, nice, and close to the beach ! - Nice location, located right next to the bleach, access to many equipments including washing machines and kitchen for free, and easy in-out access. Room is a bit tiny. Not that much space to leave luggages like backpacks or suitcases, except in front of the room or in a locker a bit further in the guest house.
