Guest Reviews
- Haimwantie (10/5): - I love the fact that we were able to check in at anytime! Cause we made it there after hours, but someone was there to assist! Great staff! Peaceful environment.
- Khilona (8/5): - Staff was very helpful and nice we enjoyed the pool
- Senita (2/5): - Frequent blackouts. No flashlight, candles, no water. Unable to use bathroom. Several leaks. Managet unwilling to assist in refunds for inconvenience and no compassion for inconvenience. I have medical issues and not able to have AC or water was not good.
- MICHELLE (2/5): - Room was dirty, AC wasn't working I spent 2 nights in a hot room before I was transferred to another room. The refrigerator was extremely dirty and full of rust stains. Never again.
- Brian (4/5): - Nice breakfast nice pool. Room not clean and poorly kept. Door locks not safe and were faulty . Rental need major renovation to improve on standard and need to be kept clean.
- Rupert (6/5): - Air conditioner was excellent. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom shower knob was difficult to get right temperature of water and first few days the tub did not drain properly. Reception staff and breakfast cook were very friendly and helpful.
- Larry (10/5): - Will stay again
- Ayanna (4/5): - I stayed with family and wanted one night close by to sleep alone so I booked it and showed up pretty late that night, I should have stayed with family! The receptionists looked shocked when I arrived as if they didn't see a reservation. The room was not clean, the bathroom was dirty I had to clean it myself to take a shower. I got 10000 mosquitos bites throughout the night. The refrigerator did not work. I would not recommend at all. I wouldn't have wrote this review if they were at least apologetic, but they didn't care at all.
- Shree (2/5): - This was a horrible place. The listing offers transportation to and from the airport (which is about 1 -2 hrs away depending on traffic) is a false statement. You cannot reach the hotel to make arrangements for a pick up- trying to call them is impossible; poor line connection. After several attempts to verify my booking, they hung up on me because I could not hear them properly. Tried emailing them but got no response. Also their idea of making arrangements is to call a taxi for you which will cost $50-60 US dollars depending on the taxi driver. We were fortunate enough to get a honest driver. Stephan was amazing. He was polite, helpful and fair. The rooms are no better that a sleazy roadside motel that rents rooms by the hour in North America- broken tiles, non-functioning shower drain, power cords visible connecting the fridge, holes in the wall by the baseboards, etc. The restaurant is over priced for the convenience and the food is edible. There is a pool on site but you have to pay $10 US per person to use it. To call this place a resort is audacious bordering on fraud. The only saving grace to this "resort" is the staff. They were polite, kind, courteous and attentive.
- Bibi (6/5): - Need Big upgrades and more cleaning staff this resort has potential to be big and exciting
- Sarah (10/5): - I like the hotel just it need some upgrades
- Andrew (6/5): - It was quiet and gave that countryside vibe which good for relaxing.
- Regina (4/5): - I made the reservation on Saturday morning in my name.
I told the two ladies at the reception desk that someone else will come in my place to take the room.
I specifically asked them if I needed to provide the name. They said no and that the person just had to let them know it was I who authorized him.
When the guest came he was asked to provide my IDENTIFICATION, I was busy at the time so he was unable to get me on the phone. and he had to wait outside the hotel for half an hour until it was sorted out. That is not professional at all. You need to educate the staff properly of the requirements so as not to inconvenience guests.
- Abdullah (2/5): - They charged me twice and did not want to refund the one charge. It was from 26 Feb - 1 Mar 2025. Over
$450 was taken extra. Please be careful and watch out for that double charge.
- giovanni (8/5): - El hotel está muy bien la verdad muy limpio y demás no hay quejas
- Manoj (2/5): - The property was run down, dilapidated, poor service, poor staff experience, the breakfast was horrible and very over priced for what is offered. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- Vedananda (8/5): - Need some improvement can do a little better
- Ronald (2/5): - The toilet was not flushing and the room had a funny smell.
- Alli (8/5): - Enjoy our week stay the staffing was very polite and helpful
- Ramesh (6/5): - Little more repairs
- Felicia (2/5): - I booked this online from Canada for my mother and her 2 siblings. The AC didnt work after 4 hours they got switched to another room. The hotel was BASIC, the tub did not drain and constantly almost overflowed, they had to get a staff to come and plunge it. Also the door lock broke and didnt work so they had to use a staff key. It was problem after problem. Would NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND.
- Indiera (2/5): - Our first time there and our experience was very bad
The rooms was very dirty and not clean bathroom was very disgusting contact the manager several time Nuttin got done after 4 days then received a safe in the room tv wasn’t working construction was goin on and still have customers stay there in the hotel is should be close while doing work unsafe for ppl .. management need to change.. this place could be really nice if u have ppl who care .. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come there it’s terrible.. u need to check on your room and see how house keeping clean I was shock to see how they clean I can’t bring my kids there this place too dirty and I’m asking for my refund
- namechandar (6/5): - average
- malissa (2/5): - Room was not what was advertised. Dirty , dusty an bathroom smell stink. The pool is a public pool.an not just the resort pool. The surroundings filthy. The breakfast limited to only 1 dish an thats it, eat it or go get something else. If you dont drink coffee or milk, go buy yourself a water, cause thats not even an option. Face basin used for filling water, brushing teeth etc. The tv has no cable or even connecting to local stations. 23.08.24
- Stenwick (4/5): - The receptionist was very helpful and prompt with her service.
The pool area and bar was nice but limited food was available at 730pm.
The room had a moldy smell, had no phone if I wanted to call the front desk. We saw couple cockroaches in the room.
- Shamee (6/5): - The property is small located on the West side of Guyana not many options on the West side for shopping and food all done on the East side. They are able to call cabs for you and you can catch the local bus
There are a couple of areas to improve starting with the linens they don't provide a face cloth/wash cloth so you must bring your own if that's your preference
The menu at the bar is outdated it list things that aren't available
The breakfast was ok sustainable but the rest of the food wasn't authentic and didn't taste good. When I tried to find other options the staff couldn't refer me to local places within the area to order from
I think if they go to the local food places in the area and provide menus it would be helpful
For my first time I will give them a C also if they could turn the hot water up just a smidge that would also be helpful
But again this isn't a five star hotel and you'll get exactly what you paid for hardly much
- Vidya (10/5): - Staff
- Tropical (8/5): - Not bad for a 3 star hotel
- Leon (8/5): Nothing good to say at all! - My stay was far from ideal. Construction was being done on my building, there was absolutely no warning that this would be going on during our stay. Then there was a flood caused by a water main break, which in turn caused us to have absolutely no hot water, or even water in my sink to brush my teeth. Again, no warning of these issues and nonoffer to move our room until we complained. When we had water in the shower, the drain was getting clogged and we were standing in dirty water. To top it off, they offer hourly rates for customers to handle their "business". 10 years ago, this property was fantastic-what a disappointment to see the state that it is in now.
- Raj (4/5): - Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was neat n clean. Breakfast food and horrible. Gym was extremely dirty and dysfunctional.
- Andre (6/5): - No comment but staff was good
- cullen (8/5): 10/10 Option for the west bank stay - I felt welcomed at this property and whatever is lacking was made up with the level of service, smiles and attention given in addressing all my concerns.
- Nadene (10/5): - Exclusivity. Cater to our needs and friendly staff.
- AMY (2/5): - Horrible experience from start to finish. I got there pretty late and the room was not ready. There were no sheets on the bed, the room itself was dusty and there was hair everywhere. I ended up staying a total of four hours before I checked out and had to look for another place to stay. The staff wasn’t helpful at all and very rude. The place is very old, unsafe and dirty. I was not given a refund for anything. It’s a dilapidated property and I would not recommend going there at all.
- Rosanne (2/5): - I was very disappointed, the bathtub is full of Mold and not maintained, the toilet is old and nasty. The price per night is way overpriced. This hotel needs to been torn down. It’s a health hazard. Complementary breakfast is a joke, bottle water is not even available, the pictures on Expedia is not true to the present conditions. Very disappointed. I was stupid to book here.
- Nadira (4/5): - The security lock is broken I asked for it to be fixed and they never did. There was no safe, the phone was not working I spoke with front desk and nothing was done. The room smelled of mould. Limited hot water. Leaky shower. Housekeeping was great and kept the room cleaned daily.
- Forbes (4/5): - It is not worth the hipe the rating it has is over rated.
The breakfast that comes with the stay is not up to standard. Ine morning i went down to breakfast and all that was there was four pancakes and about two hot doges cut up
The buildings have no elevator you have to walk up and only in your room have air condition. The bar and poolside us very hot no air condition even at the bar.
The restarant the food was not the best.
I would not recomend this place.
- Eon (4/5): - i didn't like anything. T
- alirio (6/5): - Was ok
- Tina (4/5): - Staff was very nice and accommodating but room was terrible. Shower had no hot water and water barely trickled out. Breakfast was eggs and 3 pieces of bread with margerine. Will know not to go back.
- Dineshwar (6/5): Not good - It was a not so good experience it lacked reasonable facilities eg the fridge door was broken making it inoperable upon check in the original allocated room was dirty with poor lighting we had to change room
The room itself and the bed is too small
Not worth the price
Not recommended for future stays
- Carl (6/5): - Had bed and shower
- Amantine (8/5): - Nice place to stay.Staff was friendly and nice.Food was also good.Rooms were clean and comfortable.Check in was easy.It is a little far from Georgetown Need to rent a vehicle to stay there. Also you need to pay a toll of 200,00 Guyanese dollars to cross the toll bridge crossing the Demerara bridge. You don’t pay to leave. You pay to enter.Nice view of the Demerara River,You will be amazed at how wide the River is and the length of the Demerara Harbor bridge.Pool was clean and nice.Walk with spray to ward off the sandflies. You will get to see a donkey walking through the town and the horses pulling load.
- Shandell (2/5): - Nothing
- Kamini (10/5): - BAUTIFUL EATING AREA, BAR/RESTURANT AND VERY IMPORTANT FOR MY FAMILY,"POOL"
- Sookdeo (2/5): - Couldn't stay there very nasty stinks.Occupant harass my wife.looking for refund.
- Sita (10/5): - The room weee very spacious comfortable beds. Overall all it was like home away from home- all of the staffs were very friendly and courteous especially the manager who was trying his hardest to meet all of my needs in every way. I would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely go back there.

- Katherine (6/5): - To start there was one person at the front desk doing everything including attending to guests on the phone and in person. The room was dirty. We were greeted by a big roach in the toilet. The key fob never worked. The front desk person had to let us in whenever we were out. We were there only 1 night so I did not request another room. The rooms are not private. The bed is right by the window by the busy hallway. The curtains were not secured or private enough. For breakfast we were given scraps without sauce for pepperpot. The kitchen attendant, 1 person again, was very accommodating and made fresh eggs etc for us. He was polite and understanding.
The exterior is clean. They need to work more in the cleanliness and privacy of the rooms.
- Christopher (8/5): - Was ok
- krish (4/5): - This place need to be better upkeep. The bathtub will keep getting clogs every 2 days after they fix it same goes for the toilet. Some of the rooms need to be aired out. I think the staffs tryed there best to accommodate us however there is so much they can do with what they have to work with.
- Dowlat (2/5): - This property needs major renovations to bring it up to basic living conditions
- Sandra (2/5): - Dirty, not worth the price, wouldn't recomend anyone to stay there
- Raywattie (10/5): - Spacious property
- Eudina (8/5): - It was ok
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Microwave , fridge ,sink pipe not working toille was out off water , no shower curtin didnt get any breakfast wifi or access to pool and i was also lock out off my room .card didnt work only thing that was on point for the room was the price for it t
- George (6/5): - My guess and I felt disrespected and shocked ( $2000.00 Guyana dollars were required as a deposit ) Checking out the deposit was not returned until a staff member checked our room 214 and phoned their approval to the office while we waited in the office only then the Deposit was returned NEVER experienced this behavior from any other HOTELS guess George Willis
- Verified traveler (6/5): - There was a little problem in the beginning but it was quickly resolved when we were moved to a much more acceptable accommodation.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Breakfast inadequate, not much variety and poor coffee
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This hotel isn’t a place to take your family. There are three stations, one of which is a porn channel. The hotel refused to give me a refund although a refund was promised. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL
- Abedin (2/5): - The eating places were highly unhygienic ( nasty / dirty) the recreational area are infested with drug (weed) users and alcoholics. Not an appropriate setting for taking your family. The breakfast was very shameful both in service and content. We had took the executive suite of which they didn’t provide any bath stuff, not even a drinking glass, nor a bottle of water. I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Bugs all over the rioms.
The toilet flooded.
The bathroom floodef.
Housekeeping was aweful.
Spoke with the ownet and
- Fluster (10/5): - The is a work in progress. I am happy with the improvements that are taking place
