Guest Reviews
- DAVID (1/5): Wasn’t clean, smelly, dangerous electrics, I would avoid like the plague. - Nothing, but location. It was horrific.
- Dargham (1/5): Avoid at all costs - This place is so bad I didn’t stay for breakfast This place is simply awful it’s dirty, noisy, smelly, tiny cramped room (room 21 is so small you have to lift the mattress to open the door. Light switch and tv remote held together by sellotape. Was booked in for two nights, spent most of night 1 trying to sleep in my car instead of the room, then gave up and booked a travelodge for the second night I was away. Avoid at all costs if you value your sleep and health.
- Regina (7/5): - Staff were nice and easily approached NA
- DELREENA (10/5): - Friendly and attentive staff , clean room , housekeeping daily, free spacious parking.
I 100% would recommend!
- DELREENA (10/5): - Friendly and attentive staff , clean room , housekeeping daily, free spacious parking.
I 100% would recommend!
- Paul (5/5): Inexpensive, set near bus stop, great breakfast. But lower standards than was expecting. - Superb cooked breakfast eaten al fresco in the sun. Friendly staff. Inexpensive. Ideally placed for public transport near bus stop. Very small room. Dirty wall from heads. Bed mattress kept slipping to one side. One shower didn't produce hot water (apparently for several weeks).
- Nistorescu (2/5): - Nothing very dirty shut be closed dont shut be rent the room dirty and a loot mould in room and in matress very bad service... Shared batromm whit just one shower whit boiled water ,mould and very dirty dont shut be have lincense for renting the room whit mould, dirty(when do you ask for change they just put back the same cover for matress and bedcover and turn matress whit other side and said they change) very rud staff
- Vinchenzo1 (3/5): Would definitely not recommend! - Free parking Facilities poor quality with paint peeling off the wall
Room had spiders/some dust in it
Shared bathroom poor condition fixture wise
Parking area had potholes and not the smoothest
- Guto (5/5): Ideal for head down - Staff were very friendly. Excellent breakfast. Stay was as expected for the price. Superb parking. As expected for the price. Wish it was closer to my office to make better use of the place.

- Administrator (1/5): We dont expaect perfection, but never again-on the company list of places not to book. - Couldn't get hold of owner on number provided.
Bed was in poor state-sagging badly.
Sound travelled through the building-could hear the kettle in my room boiling from along the hallway.

- Anda (7/5): -
- Alan (8/5): - Convenient location. Basic but fine. Great pub just down the road.
- Sam (1/5): - Northing! Pull up to the property to finds RATS the size of cats running around outside so I didnt even make it to the room , I asked for a refund straight away but they lied to me saying they haven't had the email of booking.com , and cancelled the refund
RATS ,RATS ,RATS ,RATS !!! They were trying to tell me they weren't in the buildings or cafe .... in my opinion, RATS gets in anywhere
- Jonathan (1/5): I couldn’t get into the place and they refused to give me my money back, terrible experience which I will never repeat. - I couldn’t get into it as it was closed for the night, in spite of me telling the what time I would arrive. It was very difficult to find in the dark with only a very small light that I drove past 3 times.
- David (7/5): Good value stay while attending an event nearby. - The price. Although not included in that price, the availability of breakfast Not having a basin in the room. I was aware that the room was not en suite when booking, so I don't see that as an issue
- jamie (6/5): - 1st room I was given the TV was hanging off the wall and had a strange smell, was given a different room with out any problems, for the price you get what you pay for Bed uncomfortable,
- Tomo (7/5): - Use of the cafe Small rooms .noise from other rooms .no TV remote.shared bathroom filthy.you have a shower while you are in full view of people using the toilet

- Michael (8/5): - Good value for money if you want a no-frills stay. The beds are quite comfy, there's a small TV and tea/coffee in the room. The shared bathroom is okay. It's a little way out of High Wycombe area but there isn't much else available at this price
- Sam (10/5): Good night sleep and good value -

- Janet (6/5): Fine but not fancy! - It was fine, it a truckstop, good value for money with no frills! Friendly guests, was absolutely fine tbf, just not fancy! Its clear what it will be like when you purchase so no complaints at all
- Daniel (5/5): -
- Georgina (10/5): Excellent BUDGET motel - For the cost this is an excellent motel. At £35/night for a single room it is a third of the cost of other budget hotels in this area. Ok so its not the Ritz but its also priced realisticallyfor what it offers.
- Cotter (10/5): The Best Day of My Life - Everything!!!! There was some baby of a man moaning and whinging at the cafe staff in the morning, but that's not the fault of the exceptional staff of Chris' Motel
- Thomas (2/5): - Disgusting, filthy , mouldy rotten paid for four nights and didn’t stay one night it’s the worst accommodation I’ve ever seen we had no opening window ,it was so hot iit was like a dry sauna ,the towels were stained and dirty the room was a tiny single room with two beds, and a single old wardrobe and a mini fridge on the floor flaking paint and yellow stained ceiling and walls and had to wait for ages for the communal shower for about 8rooms that was filthy and rotten as well the shower had no door but a mouldy shower curtain, the whole bathroom was filthy so we repacked our bags and told the Asian woman in reception exactly why we couldn’t stay there for even one night
- Kevin (7/5): Good -
- Temi (1/5): Bad - Nothing..the place looked ridiculous Like a slum
- Ranjit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Francis (4/5): - the room was not what i thought i booked, no upgrade available as all rooms the same, therefore I didn't stay
- Gary (1/5): I would never stay at a place like this ever again booking .com you should be ashamed why do you all - Dirty place would not let my dog stay there Everything filthy the halos should be ashamed just another business
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (1/5): Extremely low standards not acceptable in any way - Not a lot to be honest Absolutely tiny dirty and run down, the toilet facilities where filthy rooms definitely bit cleaned considering it was the size of 2 small single beds it should have at least been clean …didn’t stay directed second night
- Sarah (6/5): Work trip - Other guests Very noisy, booked for work and didn’t get much sleep. Smelt quite unclean and sweltering in the heat. But it was cheap and did the job, minus sleep.
- Paul (10/5): Probably the best day of my life. - Well, to be greeted by such a pleasant aroma was truly delightful. The spacious rooms had everything we desired, huge TV, comfortable king size bed and a mini bar. Amazing how quiet it was through the night, allowing us to get the perfect amount of sleep! It was just a shame we couldn’t stay for longer!
- Barry (1/5): I need a tetanus - This question a joke 😂😂 The towel I got had shit skids on it’s a good job I brought my own! N the rats running about out the front where the size of jack russels!!! Scruffy place proper slum stay away!!
- Mudd (8/5): Comfortable and cosy - I drove through Stokenchurch but didn't find Chris's Motel it was in the next village on the A40.
- Thomas (1/5): Bad -
- David (5/5): Passable - The area view around the hotel, was pleasent, despite not having a tradictional reception but could speak with some over the phone, whom was very courteous and professional, knew what he was doing and seem very organised. Despite non smoking advertisement i could smell a strong smell of ilicite substances, the bed wasn't confortable looks like broken making load of noise, it was a miniscule room.
- Orsolya (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (8/5): The very basic of basic accommodation but done well and very cheap! - I liked the fact that what they said they would supply they did and was good For what I was after I could not fault it
- Chris (2/5): Very poor -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Cheap for a reason - It is what you pay for, its a bed, thats all. You cannot moan too much when the price is this low but do not have any positive expectations. Sleep and leave.
- Darren (3/5): Wouldn’t stay again - Nothing very basic The amount of rats in the car park, the shower room an shower wasn’t much good
- Wayne (8/5): Very good -

This is somewhere to get your head down and get back to work the next day refreshed tea and coffee facilities and TV in the room are excellent staff are very helpful. Excellent menu in the café. Only Gripe is that the café didn’t open till eight so I couldn’t get breakfast before work

- Niraj (10/5): Pleasant - A nice pleasant stay. Good place for the price.
- Rob (1/5): Will never satay or look at again not even good for a one night stay rats all over in roof . In building . Round groun - I have nothing good to say about this place . Looked thought it was cheap with getting discount threw here as I travel alit I needed a 1 night stay so booked there . - Lee (2/5): Very poor -
- William (6/5): - Clean but -3 degrees and no heating
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (4/5): Dirty, dreary and uncomfortable - Don't be fooled by the bright clean looking rooms pictured..
Our room was dark and filthy (carpet & rug were so dirty I could not remove my shoes in the room). Bedding was clean but the beds were extremely noisy and uncomfortable. The room had no basic facilities (i.e. no toilet or sink), the gents shared toilet / shower block was reasonable, however, the ladies shower and toilet were unusable with the shower not attached to the wall and the temperature too hot and unable to be turned down (wife could not have a shower).
We booked 2 nights but left on the second day and booked into the local Holiday Inn so we could at least have a shower and comfortable bed.
If you just want the cheapest local accommodation and don't care about comfort, cleanliness or facilities, then this "trucker's motel" is the place for you, otherwise, avoid at all costs.
- Peter (2/5): Money back, very poor accommodation - When I arrived there was a phone number on the window to ring. Someone told me the room number and it was open. I was unable to lock the room door with the key provide, the bathroom was disgusting. I tried to call the person back with no answer. I left this accommodation immediately and booked another hotel with you.
- Ibrahim (10/5): - The host did a great job as his always reasy to help.
Thanks.
- Victor (8/5): Very good -
- Jane (1/5): Bad - I'm sorry to say, but nothing There was an odd smell.
Shower rooms not nice.
I actually didn't stay.
- Valerica (4/5): Disappointing -
- Michael (10/5): - Basic, but very clean, rooms surprisingly well equipped. Onsite cafe offers great meals, and ample parking within truckstop area. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
- Jan (6/5): - Cleanliness could be better, especially in the (shared) bathroom. The building was not very well maintained - could use some make-overs.
All in all a convenient stay, but don't expect 3-star accommodation. Price-quality ratio also a bit steep.
- Michael (4/5): - Our room door didn’t lock!
- Gabriel (8/5): Very good -
- Neil (5/5): Passable - The noise on a morning when others are leaving
- Malcolm (4/5): Disappointing -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Single room is literally living in a shoe box 12 inches of walkway between wall and the bed
