• Michael (10/5): Wir waren begeistert und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - definitiv das beste Resort auf der Insel mit dem schönsten Strandbereich; 18 moderne und gemütlich ausgestattete Zimmer. Der Pool inmitten der Anlage war sehr schön, insgesamt alles sehr gepflegt. Die Haussherrin Genta kümmerte sich liebevoll und sehr kompetent mit ihrem gesamten Personal um unser Wohl; man konnte sich Badeschuhe und Schnorchelausrüstung kostenlos ausleihen. Das Restaurant mit seiner guten Auswahl und Qualität war direkt am Strand gelegen; in der Abendstimmung wirklich romantisch. Wir würden wiederkommen, falls es die Gegebenheiten zulassen. nix
• Christine (8/5): Einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen 😎🌴 - Ko Kradan ist ein kleines Naturparadies zum Baden,schnorcheln etc. und das „Reef Resort“ ein toller Ort zum Entspannen. Wir wurden vom Anleger bei Ankunft abgeholt und das Gepäck zum Hotel transportiert. Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet,aber mit Klimaanlage. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand und es spielt sich eh alles draußen ab. Es ist ein kleines Hotel mit herzlicher und entspannter Atmosphäre . Toll war auch der Pool bei Ebbe und das kostenlose Schnorchelset und Paddelboote etc. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und das Frühstück und Essen waren sehr gut. Hier wird Service groß geschrieben .Danke an das ganze Team:) Danke auch für den perfekt organisierten Transfer unsere Weiterreise nach Khao Lak. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt :) Das Zustellbett war sehr hart.

• Quentin COLTIER (9/5): Excellent hôtel, les pieds dans l'eau ! - Tout d'abord les équipes sur place, extrêmement agréables et sympathiques. L'hôtel est au bord de la plage ce qui est très agréable pour s'y rendre rapidement. Notre chambre était très bien et correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes. Le petit déjeuner était également très bien ! Vraiment un très bel endroit. Tout était très bien !
• Anna (9/5): Underbart! - The Reef Resort är ett fantastiskt ställe! Hotellet ligger ca 10 minuters promenad från piren där båtarna kommer in, hotellet mötte upp oss och tog bagaget på en liten båt. Personalen är underbar, man blir som en stor familj när man är där, alla samlas runt baren för att umgås och spela spel. Stranden är vit och vattnen är lugnt, det går att snorkla direkt utanför hotellet. På hotellet finns det snorkelutrustning, kajaker, SUP och flytväst att låna gratis. Frukostbuffén är god, likaså maten. Rummen är mysiga. Duschen är under bar himmel så lite djur kommer det in i badrummet. Det finns några restauranger till på ön så man kan variera sig om man vill. Det tar ca 15 minuter att gå till andra sidan ön för att se på solnedgången. Kommer absolut att komma tillbaka! Hade gärna haft ett nät över duschen för att slippa få in alla djur i duschen och badrummet.

The rooms and grounds are simple but that's all you need in a place such as this where time seems to stand still and you have paradise awaiting you outside of your room. Some of the best food we had in Thailand.

• Krisztina (7/5): A friendly and comfortable place on a breathtaking island - Wow - Koh Kradan and Reef Resort were simply amazing. Given how difficult it can be to find accommodation on the island, this is an excellent option. The room is simple but includes all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are attentive, kind, and very helpful, and they all speak good English. The pool area is fantastic, especially when travelling with children. We also enjoyed the restaurant and greatly appreciated the water dispenser, free snorkelling equipment, and the children’s toys available for guests. Overall, it is a very friendly place on a breathtaking island. Highly recommended. Nothing really.

• Julia (10/5): - Wir haben 4 Nächte in diesem wunderschönen Resort verbracht und waren sehr traurig als wir wieder fahren mussten. Genta und das gesamte Team sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mit unserem Sohn wurde total liebevoll umgegangen und für Familien ist es einfach toll hier. Es gibt Sandspielzeug und Schaukeln und man kann sich auch kostenlos Schnorchel Equipment ausleihen und auch die Kajak sind umsonst. Das Riff direkt vor dem Hotel befindet sich gerade in der Erholung und man sollte dort nicht schnorcheln. Ca. 10 min zu Fuß vom Hotel ist aber ein super Platz zum schnorcheln. Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage weil es nicht direkt von den Tages Touristen überrannt wird. Das Essen im Hotel ist auch sehr lecker und der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Auf Koh Kraf sind die Preise höher aber das war uns bekannt und wir haben das für diese Trauminsel gerne investiert. Einer der schönsten Strände die es gibt und dazu auch noch von Strand schnorcheln. Besser geht's nicht. Ich kann das Hotel zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen. Es war alles perfekt

• Viktoria (10/5): Tolles Hotel an weißem Sandstrand - Süße kleine Bungalows mit Außendusche. Man muss aber keine Angst vor Tieren haben. Das Bett war super bequem und groß. Das Meer mit dem Riff direkt vor dem Hotel sowie der Pool sind toll. Zum Frühstück gibt es alles, was man braucht: Toast, Müsli, Früchte, ein thailändisches Gericht, … Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Bei unserer Abreise hat es geregnet und sie haben uns Regenschirm gegeben und unsere Koffer wasserdicht eingepackt. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.

• Holly (10/5): The wonderful Reef Resort - We loved everything about The Reef Resort from arriving at the beach, having our luggage transported to our room and the warm welcome we received there. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful towards guests. It felt completely genuine and we enjoyed our conversations with them. The breakfast was the best we had experienced during our trip. Every morning there was a large buffet with fresh fruit, cakes, yoghurt, croissants, eggs, salad, Thai food, juices etc. Also, the restaurant serves excellent Thai food. I am particularly fussy about Thai food as I lived in Thailand for many years, and this was the real deal. We did try one other place one night on the island, but were disappointed. They have a wonderful cocktail menu and a round bar where guests enjoy sitting around socialising. There was a wonderful atmosphere and many guests were repeat visitors to this resort. The rooms were cleaned daily and free bottles of water were given. In addition there was a water cooler you could fill your bottle with whenever you needed. The resort has kayaks, sup boards, snorkels, masks, flippers, life jackets and water shoes available for free to all guests. Also there are more than enough sun loungers and parasols for all guests. My husband cut his foot on a rock and was immediately helped with taking care of it by the staff. They cleaned it and dressed it for him 3 times until we left! So so kind of them. We absolutely loved it here. The sea is beautiful and the snorkeling further down the beach is gorgeous. We definitely plan to come back. Thank you Genta, Jack and all the staff for making our days there so memorable and special. Leaving

Okej frukost, inget att klaga på där Personalen var extremt dåliga på engelska så det blev svårt med kommunikationen. Några förstod lite mer än andra

• Michaela (8/5): - Tolle Lage, direkt am Meer, sehr nettes Personal. Koh Kradan ist im Vergleich zum restlichen Thailand teuer, aber trotzdem eine Reise wert. Das Riff direkt vorm Hotel ist momentan gesperrt. Es gibt aber Kajaks kostenfrei zum ausleihen, mit dem man zum südlicheren Riff paddeln kann - lohnt sich sehr!!

• Stella (9/5): Traumhafter Urlaub - Das Resort ist sehr gepflegt und hat eine der besten Lagen auf Koh Kradan mit einem traumhaften Strand und Ausblick. Hier kann man wirklich entschleunigen und sich erholen. Das Personal ist top organisiert und bietet einen exzellenten Service. Wir hatten als Familie einen wirklich traumhaften Urlaub und haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Resorts nebenan haben den Urlaub kulinarisch sehr gut abgerundet. Da gibt es nicht viel. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist eher übersichtlich, aber qualitativ gut.

• Jana (10/5): - Kdo hledá noční život, diskotéky a obchody, bude zklamaný. Pro ty, co hledají místo, kde budou odpočívat, poslouchat šumění moře, šnorchlovat na korálovém útesu a procházet se po nádherném ostrově, je to nezapomenutelné. Majitelé vždy ochotní se vším pomoci, zorganizovat výlety, které jsou levnější než jinde na ostrově a nic pro ně není problém. Výborná restaurace a usměvavý personál. Krátkou procházkou přes džungli se dostanete na protější pláž, kde můžete pozorovat úžasné západy slunce. Těžko se nám opouštělo toto místo, které budeme mít v našich srdcích navždy. Jen si moc přejeme, abychom se mohli někdy vrátit.

• van Wijnen (9/5): Prachtig verblijf, op mooi strand met schaduw van mooie oude bomen - Zeer vriendelijk personeel en naar onze mening beste lokatie op Koh Kradan Geen idee, hooguit dat snorkelgebied een flink eindje lopen is langs het strand en overdag vrij druk met dagjesmensen.

Ich warte auf eine Knieoperation, habe schmerzen bei jeden Schritt, daher war es für mich und meinem Mann genau das richtige! Die Zimmer Super, das Badezimmer mit der offenen Dusche Sensationell und alles war sauber! Die Betten waren sehr bequem! Das GANZE PERSONAL war sooo bemüht, freundlich und stets Hilfsbereit! Vielen, vielen Dank! Da der Weg zum Pier doch etwas mühsam war für mich, hat man mir geholfen! Nochmals Dankeschön! Ich wusste nicht dass der Weg vom Pier doch etwas weiter ist! Bei der Abrechnung, man kann alles am letzten Tag bezahlen! Haben einige Posten nicht gestimmt! Das nächste Mal würde ich immer gleich bezahlen! LEIDER konnten wir nicht Verlängern, da es natürlich ausgebucht war! Schade!

• Felicia (9/5): Bättre än förväntat och då hade vi höga förväntningar - I princip allt var utmärkt. Den familjära stämningen gjorde att man verkligen kände sig välkommen från första sekund. Personalen var helt fantastisk. Frukosten var den bästa som vi upplevde på vår en månad långa resa i Thailand. Maten i restaurangen var suverän och läget likaså. Det är inget lyxhotell, men det var rent och fräscht och inte alls nergånget och slitet som mycket annat. Saknade mörkläggningsgardiner. Haha, faktiskt det enda negativa jag kan komma på.

• Birgit (9/5): Schönes Hotel zum Erholen - Schöne Lage weg von der trubeligen Anlegestelle, offene Anordnung der Zimmer, kostenloser Verleih von Kajaks u Schnorchelausrüstung Am Reef vor dem Hotel darf derzeit nicht geschnorchelt werden- das war früher ein absolutes Highlight Ball ( Fussball) spielende Gäste direkt vor den Zimmern, sollte man besser so regeln dass am Strand gespielt wird

• KD (10/5): For the second time, an amazing stay! - There is always a risk of returning to a great place that the place doesn't seem so great the second time around, but the opposite applies to The Reef Resort! We felt even more welcomed and had got even more out of our time on Koh Kradan now when we "came back". Genta and Jack have such an impressive quality of remembering which guests like what even after hosting them once for 1-2 days. Also with other staff members, we noticed how much they paid attention to our likes and dislikes, trying to anticipate our needs and give us the greatest experience possible. We also were impressed by almost all staff members from the year before still being at The Reef Resort which speaks for nearly no turnover. It is really a matter of personal taste: we liked the setup where there is no big noisy entertainment program in the evening, just a round bar in the middle of the resort where everyone is welcome to have a drink, or have a chat, or play a round in a board game. If you travel alone, and wish for some socialisation, this is a perfect setup for engaging with other people without a big effort. The location is (literally) a stone-throw from the reef and the basically the hotel is standing on the beach. There are a few places around that Genta recommends at the check-in (e.g. the best pizza on the island is next door), but the variety of (primarily) Thai dishes at the resort restaurant is so big that this time around we really stayed close "to home" and went all in on seafood and Thai dishes, and not even once was there anything missing in the food we ate. Pad Thai at The Reef Resort remains my personal definition of a great Pad Thai. Just like last time we visited, it was a great value for the price considering the climate around the hotel (it is an island with humid climate), the availability of hotels on Koh Kradan (there are not many), and the fact that everything needs to be brought in by boat. Nothing! The food is fresh&tasty, the rooms are simple&clean, the team is great&hospital, the island is beautiful!
• Jonas (10/5): - Es war ein Urlaub im Paradies. Die Insel ist wunderschön und das Reef Resort ist eine herrliche Unterkunft, um richtig runterzukommen. Aber auch für aktive Urlauber (Paare, Familien) gibt es genügend (kostenlose! - was nicht selbstverständlich ist) Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten (Kayak, SUP, Boule, Schnorchelset für jeden Gast, Flossen, sogar Wasserschuhe etc.). Das Team rund um Genta ist total lieb, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Auch die Mahlzeiten sind super. Das Frühstück bietet alles an was man für den Start in den Tag braucht. Die Thai-Küche wirkt sehr authentisch und ist köstlich (Pad-Thai, Seafood Gerichte, Kokusnusseis). Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

• Lil (10/5): Ett riktigt Paradis- man vill inte åka därifrån! - Fantastiskt boende på underbar ö- Ett riktigt paradis! Mycket god mat och artig, familjär och vänlig personal. Välskött hotell med bästa strandläge… Mysigaste stället hittills och då har vi bot på både SAii - Phi Phi och Pimalay- Koh Lanta innan.

Jos löydät rannalta laudan pätkän, voit maalata sen ja se kiinnitetään muiden kylttien joukkoon baarin kattoon! Ravintolassa hyvät ruuat ja reilun kokoiset annokset. Huoneiden äänieristys heikko. Viereisen huoneen puhe ääni kantautui selkeästi (jopa sanatarkasti) huoneeseemme. Resortin hinta laatu suhde turhan kallis, mutta Kradanilla kaikki oli kalliimpaa kuin muilla saarilla. Saari oli kuitenkin upea kokemus joten suosittelen.

(5/5): Slechte prijs/kwaliteit verhouding - De locatie, het bijzonder vriendelijke personeel en het restaurant is echt goed Wij zaten 2 nachten in Mali Kradan Resort en 1 nacht in Reef Resort. Beiden vragen ongeveer dezelfde prijs per nacht, maar de kamers zijn totaal niet vergelijkbaar. Mali Kradan is echt veel beter, de kamers zijn daar ruim, stijlvol en schoon. Sorry Reef Resort, maar daar kunnen jullie echt niet aan tippen! De kamer in Reef Resort is een stuk kleiner dan aangegeven, en niet comfortabel. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding klopt echt niet met wat je krijgt!

Die Sunsetbeach ist völlig vermüllt! schrecklich! um zum strand zu gelangen, steigt man über den müll🙈. diese bilder, die leider nicht mehr aus dem kopf gehen, findet man leider sehr sehr oft in Thailand. Es müssen dringend massnahmen getroffen werden.

• Christina (8/5): - Virkelig fin beliggenhed ned til stranden. Fin størrelse pool og god morgenmad. God wifi. Gratis vandaktiviteter. Værelserne ligger helt op ad hinanden og med åbne badeværelser er der begrænset privatliv. Manglede tryk på bruser.

• Tiberius57 (8/5): - Die Lage des Resorts ist beinahe am nördlichen Ende des einzigen Strandes der kleinen Insel, ca. 1km von dem Rief ganz im Süden der Insel entfernt, wo man vom Strand aus sehr gut schnorcheln kann. Dort ist die Unterwasserwelt ein echtes Erlebnis, was ich jeden Tag genossen habe. Das Zimmer war eher klein, die Matratze etwas hart (typisch für Thailand), das Mobiliar in die Jahre gekommen, kaum Bügel zum Wäsche aufhängen und das Badezimmer hat eine zum Himmel offene Dusche (Mücken etc Gefahr). Oft riecht es unangenehm aus dem Abfluß und der Dieselgenerator hinter dem Gebäude brummt auch etwas laut. Die Zimmern sind eng an eng gebaut, es fehlt ein bisschen der Abstand zum Nachbar, aber manche mögen dies vielleicht. Bemerkenswert aber ist die hervorragend, leckere Thai-Küche, welche ich jeden Tag genossen habe. Jedes Gericht war ein Volltreffer, vielen herzlichen Dank an den Koch bzw Köchin und liebe Grüße an die Managerin des Resorts. Eigentlich hat mir alles gut gefallen, bis auf Kleinigkeiten welche man leicht hinnehmen kann.

• Karoline (10/5): Man kommt wirklich gut runter und die Unterwasserwelt ist der Wahnsinn - die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen - Sehr schönes Resort, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Insel ist sehr klein, somit ist alles in direkter Strandlage und man kann quasi vom Zimmer aus ins Wasser hüpfen. Zum nächsten Riff musste man entweder ein Stück laufen oder Kayak fahren, da das Riff direkt vorm Hotel aktuell zum Schnorcheln gesperrt ist. So kommt aber direkt ein bisschen rum :-) Das Essen auf der ganzen Insel ist im Vergleich zum Festland nicht ganz so gut/authentisch, das könnte allerdings an der Zielgruppe liegen - hauptsächlich Familien aus den westlichen Ländern
• Tatyana (10/5): Замечательное место! - Большая благодарность Дженте! Мы в этом отеле уже второй раз. Нам помогли с трансфером по прибытии (встретили от железнодорожной станции и довезли до отеля), а так же помогли организовать лодку при отъезде дальше на другой остров. Весь персонал и атмосфера в целом очень доброжелательная. Расположение великолепное. Завтраки, обеды и ужины на пляже с шикарным видом. Еда вкусная по вполне приемлемым ценам. Риф находится перед отелем и рыбок можно наблюдать в любое время (конечно, учитывая приливы и отливы). Снаряжение в отеле выдается бесплатно, что очень приятно. Если вы хотите тишину, красоту, теплое отношение персонала, прозрачное море и ярких рыбок, то вам точно сюда! Остров застраивается отелями, появляется больше грязи, но это относится не к The Reef Resort, а к острову в целом.

• Olga (10/5): Amazing stay - The Reef Resort is an exceptional place. Located on a paradise island, the resort itself gives you a feeling of peace, solitude and remoteness from Thailand's busier islands. The atmosphere in the resort is indeed very special. Being with a toddler, we appreciated how compact everything is within the resort, without the need to walk long distances - you literally live and eat at the beach, and swim/snorkel right in front of your room. The staff is amazing. Food in the restaurant is great (for breakfast, lunch/dinner, drinks).
• Ravasio (9/5): Superb - Small resort but offering everything you need and for free: kayaks, snorkeling gear (masks, fins even shoes), board games. Air conditioning could be used at any time (not common on this island) Food at the restaurant was excellent. The best Thai food I have eaten in my 2 weeks in Thailand. Cooked locally in a very small kitchen with lots of care. Prices were also comparable to mainland which is incredible considering how remote this island is. Location is perfect: on the quieter side of the long Beach but also strategically located in front of a nice reef (the better reef is within walking distance - 10 minutes) I cannot think of anything I feel I could recommend the owner should improve The two small defects for me were the many mosquitos ruining the atmosphere at dinner and the bathrooms with open showers which attracted some occasional small animal... Other resorts in this small island share the same and these are very small prices to pay to stay in such a beautiful and secluded island

• Patrick (10/5): Beautiful and laidback resort - great snorkeling - wonderful staff - please don't change! - - Perfect from A-Z, super friendly and attentive staff - excellent food - rooms are basic but absolutely ok - great location if you like snorkeling and the laidback vibe, slows you down, thankfully not an influencer place - efforts seem to pay off for protecting the reef, great to see this happening and the abundance of fish while snorkeling is just breathtaking - nothing

• Helle (10/5): A little piece of paradise - The best place to stay in all of Thailand. We loved it there. We arrived by speedboat at the pier, 10 minutes from the hotel and our luggage were picked up, while we walked along the sandy, white beach with our feet in the water to the hotel. Were served cold water and juice upon arrival and very friendly staff everywhere. Was given very good guidance in terms of where to go and what to do - e.g., to visit the other part of the island with opportunity to see reef sharks when snorkling, and also to go to Koh Rok for snorkling with prime visibility due to the season (april). The hotel is simple, but beautiful, the rooms too. The atmosphere is kind, relaxing and welcoming. The beach is absolutely stunning, good natural shade by the lush trees, and calm, turquoise water. Lots of fish to see on the reef. Snorkel gear, fins, kayaks, SUPs, life jackets etc is complimentary to use. Also sand toys for the kids, and ooh how they loved to just pick their icecream from the freezer themselves and show it at the bar. Really, really great place!
• Adrian (10/5): World class staff at an island paradise - It's a great location, with a warm reception from Gentianna and her team. There are 18 rooms around a small pool which is good for kids. The outlook is straight onto the beach and across to Koh Muk. The air and sea temperature in 2025 are lower so the sea conditions have been massively improved on a year ago. The rooms are recently refurbished, with comfortable beds and quiet, efficient AC and ceiling fans. You are on a remote island, so the food is excellent considering the size of the kitchen. The prices are reasonable. Directly next door is a really good Italian restaurant if you fancy a change. There is a bar next to the pool which serves as a social hub. Lots of families with young children. The painted drift wood indicates loyal guests returning, which amplifies what I've said above. The beach runs South for nearly a mile, the last part accessible at low tide. Sunset Beach is small on the West side around 20 mins through tropical forest. We saw reef sharks whilst snorkelling. We can honestly say Koh Kradan is one of the nicest islands in the world let alone the Andaman. Heartily recommended. Leaving :-( We will be back.
• Mark (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel and island are amazing. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We were surprised by how great the food was - we have a local friend who'd been showing us around Chiang Mai and Koh Lanta and taken us to some of his favourite eateries. The pad thai and fried rice at the Reef Resort rival any we've tried elsewhere - delicious. Prices were surprisingly good. We hope to come back very soon! There's really nothing
• Kaliane (10/5): Paradise on Earth - This place is truly paradise on Earth. We’ve visited Thailand three times, stayed at five-star resorts across different islands, but nothing compares to the incredible experience of being fully immersed in nature like we were here. The hotel is beautiful and impeccably clean, the staff are super kind, and the warmth of their hospitality makes you feel right at home. With the beach just steps from your room, it felt like a dream—I never wanted to leave.
