- Andreas (7/5): - Nettes Hotel, großer Pool. Schon etwas veraltet.
- Mathias (8/5): - Fast and early check in and out Couldn't adjust shower head high enough for my height.

- Amy (6/5): It was nice - The location No continental breakfast
- Michael (9/5): -

- Lindsey (5/5): Nice but some things need to be fixed/updated. - Beds were comfy, there was a "drunk bus" we could ride, location was helpful. Staff was friendly. Cold showers! Within 5 minutes the water was cold! We were not happy and only one of us got to shower. With there was a hot tub also - was really looking forward to that.
- Nathan (9/5): -
- Arin (10/5): - Comfortable, clean & friendly staff.
- Sara (10/5): Amazing will definitely stay again - Nice big room we stayed in a suite it was amazing We were by a door and we kept hearing the outside door opening and closing
- Michael (7/5): Okay place I've seen worse I've seen better that was a firm bed - Bed was very nice.heat has a trick to get going
Thak goodness we had an electric fireplace heater in the room . Heater/ac unit kept blowing cold air nomater what i did with the ther. So our heat heat source was the electric fireplace. And the room had a great looking jacuzzi tub but the plug would not plug to fill the tub up. And this was at 10:00 at night with nobody around to fix. Whirlpool tub the stopper would not close so you can fill the tub up. The thermostat on the wall did not seem to work well as I could not get it to turn on the heater part of the AC / heater unit. Thank goodness we had a Electric heater fireplace in the room this is what we used. But every so often the fan for the heater would turn on and blow cold air only. I was not sure if it was on AC or not even

- Folk (9/5): We only had the time for a single night, and wanted to stay in a unique place. Mission accomplished. - Quaint and a bit quirky - a very interesting older motel that is very clean, comfortable, and in very good condition. Our room was large and well-appointed with a very comfortable bed, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.
Check-in and all interactions with staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.
We didn't get a chance to use the indoor pool, but it looked inviting. Not a single thing.
The facilities were in great shape.
The staff was friendly and on top of everything.
- Cindy (7/5): Few choices it you are in the area to tour Taleisin. It worked, but wish there had been more options. - Pleasant surroundings-nice lobby Room and bathroom felt like her could use a major upgrade
- Susie (7/5): Adequate with a nice heated pool. - Location very good We could hear the man next door snoring and in the morning there were elephants on our ceiling. Room 122.
- Bill (9/5): - Friendliness, clean, close to attractions, and we loved the slowpoke lounge. Good food in town, APT production of Picnic A+ Taliesen tour great. Frank was a player. House on the Rock!!?? Missed the little cafe in the barn from past stays
- Sandra (3/5): The stay was disappointing. - The shower was good The room smelled funky, the cafe was closed, the carpet looked dirty and the room and building looked in need of repairs. The place has seen better days
- William (8/5): -
- Eric (9/5): Unique lodge in am - Great sized room with beautiful wood vaulted ceiling. Nicely decorated. The bathroom is way too small.
- Diane (3/5): - close to where I was visiting for work Vending machines out of order, water pressure low toilet didn't flush, carpet was wet under the heating cooling unit in the room, shower mat was still in the tub.
- Elizabeth (8/5): -
- Pfister (10/5): - Staff was friendly, it was close to Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin were we were dining that night and it snowed, but we were the second couple to show up and the rest all got there late so they held up the dinner until everyone arrived. Very large room for a king bed, plenty of space. The restaurant on the property was closed because it was going to open later in the year as a different style restaurant.
- Jack (9/5): Very comfortable beds. - There was no breakfast, that was mainly the downfall about the whole stay. No breakfast and none very close by.
- Angie (7/5): -
- Alanna (8/5): -
- Evelyn (8/5): -
- Emilee (7/5): Unique hotel that accommodated our family size but came with some interesting tidbits. - The room was spacious and accommodated our family well! It was close to our destination, House on the Rock. There were no spoons in the kitchen which made eating our cereal and yogurt a little tricky. The heat/a.c. unit in the downstairs bedroom was confusing to operate and kept turning cold air on, even after we turned all the remotes off. There was also a mysterious brown liquid dripping from the ceiling and wood trim in a few rooms which left splattering and spots on our bed, pillows, a counter in the kitchen and the back of the recliner in the living room.
- Mikelson (9/5): A very nice local hotel. - It was a comfortable stay with most amenities that you would want. The bathroom was clean, but very small. The furniture was kind of dated, but comfortable.
- Jay (6/5): - Location The room smelled of mold and mildew. Felt damp. Mentioned at the front desk and was told they would look into it.
- Barbara (9/5): Convent location if attending APT and clean comfortable rooms with friendly staff - Friendly staff and clean comfortable room. I had forgotten my iPad and they contacted me immediately. They do have black out curtains but light still came in room. Parking lot is very well lit .
- Jamie (10/5): Loved our stay at the Round Barn and hope to be back again soon! - Convenient location. Quiet, clean and spacious. Excellent and helpful staff- so friendly and efficient.
- Jamie (10/5): Enjoyed the stay.would book again! - Great place. Comfy beds.
- Roberta (10/5): Wonderful lodge in Driftless area of Wisconsin - This is the second time we've stayed here while visiting family in the area. This is a very well run roadside lodge in Spring Green - an interesting small town. The king room was exceptionally large with a table and 3 chairs and also a comfy chair. A microwave and fridge were also in the room. There's a pool and a "rec room" that kids (and adults!) can enjoy. When traveling with my family, I always prefer local family run places that have character instead of staying in the chain hotels. The Round Barn Lodge is one of the best of the best!
- Miss_Vee (8/5): Overall a great stay, good staff! - Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, rooms are large, beds/pillows are good, pool was great for the kids, towels were always fresh, and the staff was friendly. Yes, it is an older place but it was clean (which was important for us). For the price we paid, the room was great. It had a high ceiling and for 4 people, we did not feel crammed. Overall it was great but if I had one negative, the walls are a little thin. We could hear a full conversation from the neighbors next door to us.
- Jim (8/5): - The location was good. The room was big. There was no breakfast included. We probably will not stay here again because of it.
- Tim (10/5): - This hotel is a very interesting and fun place to stay! Our room was huge, we especially loved the fireplace and general cozy feeling. Having a larger fridge and microwave is such a great touch for reheating leftovers and popping popcorn! The pool area was really neat, that it being a round barn with really tall ceiling. The game room was a nice touch and having coffee available in the morning was also a plus!!!! Staff was totally helpful and offered up suggestions for dining! The room was really nice and clean! The bed however was rather firm, mores then I prefer. The other disappointment was the fact that the website didn't specify that the attached coffee shop was closed.
- Michael (2/5): - Nothing
- Chelsey (10/5): -
- Huheey (9/5): - Cute and good location. For our purpose. Smell in room. Smelled musty.
- Robin (8/5): Stay at Lake Woebegone before heading up the Taliesen. - An amusing older motel (yes, it is shaped like a round barn) with big really clean rooms and updated bathroom. As with an older motel, not perfectly sound proofed but not a place that attracts a wild crowd. Great proximity to Taliesen and definitely grab breakfast at Anita's Cafe before doing the tour ;-) Some of the rooms are across from the rec room with a billards table and games, so a bit noisy.
- Pamela (8/5): -
- Dan (5/5): This was adequate to fill the need of a nights rest before continuing travel - Clean, convenient Average ascetics, not very friendly at check in but better at check out
- Betty (5/5): Stay was OK - The room was huge and very clean, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet. The stairways are very dark, the carpets in the hallway were stained and looked nasty, the outside walls and windows of the building need to be cleaned of all the cobwebs.
- Barbara (10/5): -
- Kiefer (10/5): -
- Thomas (9/5): - The location was convenient for our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with mostly minor cosmetic issues. The facility was clear very dated with some wear and tear. It didn't impact the trip but gave a less than ideal first impression of the room.
- Mathias Schuett (9/5): - Rooms always clean and its a very nice place to stay overall
- marcos (8/5): -
- Gregory (6/5): - Tired property. Room smells of ancient smoke. Several long hairs in the bathroom. Dirty tub. Sounded like a heard of cattle above me all night.
- Kate (8/5): - Quiet. Very large room. A bit dated.
- Dennis (7/5): -
- Yu (7/5): - We like how close this hotel is to American Players Theater. It is older and shows some wear, but it is clean and the bed is good. Overall a good value-- we have stayed here twice and will probably continue to stay here on our trips to Spring Green. updates, no carpet in room, sink that drained better
- Cathleen (9/5): - It was a good location for riding motorcycles. Good value. Rooms were big. Bed was comfortable. Wish there restaurant was open.
- Susan (8/5): - The hotel is at a convenient location. The property is a bit rundown, but well-maintained. There are few good dining choices in the area if you’re looking for healthy eating options.
- Mary (10/5): - Better than expected
- Amy (10/5): - Our check in was great! The girl at the desk was friendly, helpful and very professional. Earlier tonight we had an issue with our tv and she came in and get it reconnected for us. Great service.
- Anthony (8/5): - Staff is super friendly. The space takes you back to a 50’s or early 60’s road trip. However, the bathtub could only be used as a shower. Would stay again.
- Randolph (8/5): - Have stayed at The Round Barn several times over the years. The physical improvements to the hotel are very good and much appreciated. Main problem…no restaurant left on the property. That was and is the only “round barn” on the property. The hotel is hidden behind it.
- Mary (10/5): A Great Retreat Spot - We came for a quilting retreat. Fantastic!
- Charles (10/5): - Very clean, plenty of parking. Terrific friendly staff. Top notch dining close by
- Pamela (8/5): -
- Sheri (10/5): - Super friendly & helpful staff. Loved the family suite & the pool. Charming area with many attractions & stunning scenic drives. Would love to stay here again!
- Hahnke (10/5): My friends and I had a very nice stay - it was close to American Players Theater - The size of the rooms no complimentary breakfast
- Tinder (10/5): - Loved the indoor pool and the large room with comfy beds.
- Bemister (7/5): - The staff was polite, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool water was dirty and smelled funny.
- David (6/5): - In the middle of nowhere, nothing around it - no dining. Had to drive to get to any services.
- Kenneth (10/5): - The TV wasn't working.
- Charles (10/5): - Place is old but the interior is clean and refurbished. Nice pool , staff is freindly and helpful. Nearby food options and close to area we wanted to visit.
- Joyce (9/5): Would stay here again. - Did not eat the breakfast I would have liked an extra blanket. The evening was getting cold and so I wanted something more for sleeping.
- John (8/5): Good spot for a Taliesin visit. - Location. Off the Highway a little and outdoor tables. Only a desk chair in our room.
- Richard (7/5): Adequate and met expectations - One of the few locations in Spring Green. Parts of the room/motel have been updated. Dark rooms and dated design.
- Chuck (10/5): - I was unable to adjust the room temperature. Very annoying and confusing. Please fix. Happened last time i stayed there too.
- Paul (9/5): Locally historic motel, renovated and comfortable - Older facility that has been renovated, excellent location for high quality entertainment venue and many boutique restaurants. Very spacious room, comfortable furniture including bed. From our viewpoint, only thing lacking was an included breakfast, there was none. Would return to this facility, but not expect breakfast. Temp within room hard to regulate, not sure why.
- peggy (10/5): Nice hotel and in the convenient area for the surrounding attractions. - Facility is very clean and in a good location. Everything looked updated and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can kind of hear noise in hall and other rooms. Not bad, though, and people were quiet. Pool area is very nice but we would have liked to have seen a hot tub.
- Ellen (9/5): -
- lonny (10/5): -
- John (8/5): - Predictability Breakfast. Nothing.
- Katherine (9/5): -
- Chuck (10/5): - Easy
- James (10/5): - Love staying here. The pool is great. Nice rooms. Probably needs some freshening/remodeling; still our favorite place in the Spring Green area.
- Schleifer (9/5): -
- DebMcKCanada (9/5): -
- Pam (8/5): -
- Richard (9/5): Nice property near The House on the Rock and Frank Lloyd Wright museum. - Nice room. Good bed and bathroom. Nice folks behind the desk. Wi-Fi was strong in the lobby, but petered out before it got to my room at the end of the hall. They need a mesh network.
- Karen (9/5): Pleasant clean roomy accommodations with a very nice pool. - Room as described with nice pool for us and our grandchildren near sights we wanted to visit. Good coffee in lobby but another guest had to point it out to me. A little confusing on which doors go where but we figured it out.
- Wade (7/5): - The staff quickly responded to our request for a room with a quieter A/C unit. Also, we were relocated to a room facing north, away from the highway to the south. A better view and much quiter. The bed pillows were low grade. Also, another guest nearby kept their TV volume on high until dawn. A bit too noisy for someone who still has good hearing.
- A (8/5): Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go back. - We had a pleasant stay. The room was large, clean, and the bed and bedding were comfortable. The pool was well maintained and enjoyable. We also appreciated the large lounge area near the lobby — it was a great spot to relax and sip coffee. The rustic decor was warm and inviting and we liked that there was some interesting history to the place. On the downside, no breakfast was offered on site. Just coffee. We did go to a cafe down the street, and it was quite good. Around 11:30 p.m. we could clearly hear people talking in the hallway or an adjacent room (not sure which) This woke me up and made it harder to fall back to asleep.
- Dulcy (9/5): I would definitely stay theragaian, because it was a good value cfor the price and did not require a multiple night.stay - Large room with fridge and microwave, near several restaurants No breakfast included
- Earl (7/5): Seen it's better days - Rooms were nice Beeping smoke alarm gave me a battery to change still beeped had to change rooms
- Rhea (8/5): - Staff is friendly. Comfortable, clean and quiet room which met all our needs.
- beth (8/5): - Loved the serenity of the countryside.
- Maria (10/5): - I loved the size of the room and the nice bed. We didn't need it because it was summer, but our room had a fireplace. The people were so very nice! I'd definitely stay here again!
- Jeff (9/5): Enjoyed it very much, would recommend. - Good location, clean, friendly and helpful staff. No breakfast
- Karen (7/5): Overall it was ok - Friendly Staff It was a good place for the price. I didn't notice the stain on my sheet when we got there. We checked in and left right away and didn't get back til after 1030 so we just went to bed. Next morning we left again and got back noticed stain. Guy at counter did give us extra sheet to change it. The protector was ripped and so wrinkled couldn't straighten it so you could feel the wrinkles under you. The toilet sheet was loose. Could use some updates.
- Brooke (9/5): Clean, comfortable motel with good pool in great southern Wisconsin tourist location! - Spacious room with good king bed.
Clean, warm and good-sized pool and deck! Hot coffee near check-in desk.
- Jennifer (8/5): - Very convenient to dining, (dinner & breakfast), and to Taliesin!
- William (6/5): - Old
