• Lauren (7/5): Great location for Old Town - Location was brilliant for reaching the Old Town. Access is a little hidden, make sure if you're arriving after dark to carefully check each door as you descend the steps into the city. Martina was wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful. The room and facilities were quite basic, including the bathroom and there is very limited outdoor or communal space. Check the room type carefully when selecting if wanting access to pictured roof terrace.

A 5 minutos del centro histórico y de dos pequeños supermercados y a 10 minutos del shuttle bus del aeropuerto (Platanus) y del teleférico La habitación es cómoda, pero se trata de una habitación dentro de una villa. Nuestras vistas daban a una pared. Como indica, no tiene cocina, sólo hervidor, vasos y cubertería. No dejéis comida a la vista, pues la invasión de hormigas y otros insectos es inminente.

• Nataliia (10/5): Exceptional - This is a really gorgeous family villa with a beautiful garden. The apartment is nice and but the floor a bit cold. It can be super cool during very hot summer, it will be good to have the house slippers. Location is close to the old city, which I loved. In the room you cannot cook. For us it wasn’t the issue because we didn’t planned to cook. And in the same the Kettle is available, so you can prepare tea or coffee. There is internet, so you can always stay in touch. the owner of the apartment is really nice person and shared with us some Tipps about the most interesting city sights. I would recommend this place!

Comfortable firm beds, some water view from the patio, well lit entry. Our friendly host, Martina, was so accommodating. She even had our room ready early for us. Martina met us, gave us some great tips, including routes to have way less stairs to town. (For those that have mobility issues- The “streets” above the main street do not accommodate cars. And have many stairs) our twin bed room had a kitchenette with a kettle. I would love to have a hot plate to cook eggs in the morning.

Amenities were everything we needed. Photos were very accurate...which we appreciated. We truly enjoyed out stay at Villa Iveta! Would highly recommend! We loved everything about our stay! Upon arrival, we were unsure if we were in the correct location (as our taxi dropped us off where he thought was the location). Perhaps more detailed instructions to guests, as to the exact location or directions, for those unfamiliar with the streets and numbering system. Once we found it...perfect!

• David (8/5): Villa Iveta was a great value, in an excellent location, with a very helpful hostess. - Martina is a helpful, cheerful, and friendly hostess. She was always available to help answer my questions, and gave good recommendations on activities in the area. The towels were very rough. I booked a room with two beds, and only a single pillow was provided. There was a sheet of rules handed to me upon booking that were not made clear on the listing page when I reserved the room online. I was a bit put off by the rulebook. It felt like I was being lectured at school, and they seemed rather juvenile. The room was not soundproofed very well, and my upstairs neighbors were quite noisy, and that impacted my comfort level.

Sheets, blankets, glasses, bathrooms impeccably clean. The location is steps from the busy Pile Gate, yet it's quiet at the property. The pictures do not do the terrace views justice. Absolutely stunning!

Small and sultry room. - - The best thing is the location, which is just above the Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik and 5 minutes away from the Pile Gate. - The room is clean. - The soundproofing is just horrible. The door is so thin and faces the main corridor of the house, you can hear everything whenever somebody goes in or out. And you can't even close the window properly to prevent the noise coming from the window's direction. Every night you also hear the guests above you stomping very loudly. I barely had one single night of good sleep during the week. - The room is rather small. I could have rented a whole apartment/house in the vicinity for a similar price. - Since the room has only one window, air circulation was horrible, and it can get really sultry and hot even when the temperature outside is cooler. - There was no contact from the host whatsoever even on the day I arrived. I had to find her number via the booking email and reach out to her via Whatsapp for check-in instructions, which was not the smoothest experience. I would not stay here again the next time I visit Dubrovnik, at least definitely not in this room.

Our room had a lovely view and Martina had the room beautifully prepared for our stay. It was clean, comfortable and additional toiletries in case we'd forgotten anything! A wonderful host and excellent accommodation. Highly recommend to future guests in Dubrovnik.

• Nicola (10/5): Villa Iveta, Dubrovnik - Charming location near the old town. The owner was very friendly. The room was clean with fresh sheets and towels every few days. The air conditioner broke, but the owner had it fixed immediately. It would have been nice to have been able to heat food. Eating out every night is expensive. We are a family of five adults, who are all fit, but the apartment is on a hill, which takes acclimatizing to and could be an issue for the less able. Saying that, we all felt healthier at the end of our holiday.

We arrived at night by Uber from the ferry and had some difficulty figuring out where to go once the driver dropped us off. Other than that, we couldn’t have been more pleased. Martina met us outside and gave us a tour, describing the property, the area, and answering any questions. It was a five minute walk to the Pile Gate where many tours meet. We found the place convenient, clean, and what we expected from the Hotel.com description. Even had a washer to do a load of laundry during our stay.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Clean, Convenient Room very close to Old City - Very pleasant stay. The room was very clean, fully appointed, though slightly dated. It was 94°F/35°C when we were there, and the AC worked perfectly. Martina our host was very friendly, and gave us great recommendations about the what we could do in the city. The location was a ~5-7min walk from the Pile Gage entrance to the old city. If you have lots of bags, I'd strongly recommend you take a taxi/uber/bus to neear Ulica Zagrebačka 50, just after the parking garage. That way you'll be able to carry your luggage DOWN steps to the villa instead of up, because the villa is only accessible by foot (can't drive up to it) . And when leaving, I'd recommend taking your bags DOWN towards the old city and take the passageway on the right that leads past the Hilton to catch your car/bus.

Very close to Pile Gate, and easy and safe to get to the center, only a 5 minute walk. The only thing is that it is an uphill walk with some steps - good views from the villa though! Was able to see how crowded the city walls were in the morning, which helped me decide not to go there until later in the day!

There are a number of steps to get here, but it is very central and takes only 5-10 mins to get to the old town. Room was very clean! No view from the window... but had the view through the front door (if opened). Great stay!

• Konrad (10/5): - The location is terrific, close to the old town. Just be prepared to climb some stairs which are unavoidable in Dubrovnik. The owner, Maria, is very helpful and full of good advice, follow it and you are sure to have a pleasant stay.
