• Downes (8/5): Very good value for money offering what you would expect from a 2* hotel. - Good location, only ten minutes walk to the beach area. They offered motorbike rental which saves having to find a rental place. Room is cleaned on request and two bottles of water provided daily. The pool was cleaned daily and had a number of good sun beds. Communication was sometimes challenging as non of the staff spoke English and I don’t speak Thai.

• Barbara (6/5): Comodo a tutto ma non in centro - Posizione tranquilla ma allo stesso tempo comoda a tutto, noi ci siamo spostati sempre in scooter, ma volendo, locali e spiaggia raggiungibili anche a piedi.Le stanze sono tutte sulla piscina, il posto è piccolino ma la signora che gestisce è molto gentile. I cuscini sono stati un problema per me: uno troppo gonfio, l'altro un mattone...ma risolvibile.

• Therese (10/5): Litet mysigt ställe med trevlig och hjälpsam personal. - Trevligt rum med skön säng. Hade allt man behöver så som vattenkokare, koppar och kylskåp. Väl fungerande ac. Wifi var sådär var lite på och av med snabbhet. Även ett litet poolområde där man kan slappa lite. Själva stället ligger vid vägen så lite trafikljud får man räkna med men inget som störde oss. 10 min promenad till 7-eleven och 15 min till stranden. Trevlig personal som hjälpte oss med allt vi behövde, hyrde även moppe av dem. Vi gillade verkligen våran vistelse och skulle bo här igen. Lite lam stråle i duschen, finns utrymme för förbättring med vattentrycket. Men helt ok.

• tim (7/5): Good stay - We loved room 8, with the great afternoon sun in the room and on the balcony. Swimming pool was very good. The family are very sweet. We were placed in another hotel next door on our first night. Traffic from the road was noisy, so we were kindly moved to room 8. The pillows were very hard, and it's quite a long walk to the beach.
• Sarah (2/5): Try other places, this ain’t it. - The garden and pool were nice and staff were trying. Unfortunately, our 5 night stay was cut short because this place did simply did not cut it. When checking in, they demanding we pay all cash in bahts late in the evening and were very resistant to us paying via credit card at all. The location is on a main highway road that is very loud and long walk away from the beach and all the restaurants and bars. The room and bathroom itself were really run down and dirty and very much not worth the price they were asking. It felt predatory, like they were just trying to make money off of us. I would not recommend this place at all.

• José María (10/5): Good quality price & friendly staff - Surely, for this price you cannot expect a 5 star resort. and yes, the rooms are situated next to a busy road. The resort doesn't except credit card. But when it comes to comfort: the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, the staff was friendly, the shower and toilet worked just fine and the breakfast was simple but tasty. The pool has a jacuzzi part which is great after a day of activities. We stayed 3 nights and we were satisfied
• Joanna (1/5): - Hotel jest przestarzały, zaniedbanyi nie prezentuje się tak jak na zdjęciach. Po przyjeździe do hotelu okazało się, że pokoje są brudne, w naszym pokoju były robaki, pajęczyny, pająki, na ścianach było miejscami widać pęknięcia, drzwi wejściowe nie domykały się ani nie dało się ich zamknąć na klucz od wewnątrz, w łazience toaleta była bardzo brudna, aż żółta. Nie byliśmy zadowoleni z pokoju i zgłosiliśmy obsłudze problem. Nie mieli dostępnego innego pokoju, tak żebyśmy mogli się od razu przenieść. Chcieliśmy zrezygnować i znaleźć inny hotel, który byłby zgodny z opisem i ze zdjęciami. Obsługa hotelu powiedziała, że i tak musimy zapłacić pełną kwotę na recepcji (nie mają terminalu płatniczego). Nie zgodzili się na odwołanie rezerwacji przez Booking. Zapłaciliśmy całość (choć nie spędziliśmy tam nawet nocy z pięciu zarezerwowanych), bo obsługa zaczęła straszyć nas policją. Ostatecznie znaleźliśmy inny hotel. Nieuprzejma obsługa, która nie wykazuje jakiekolwiek prokonsumenckiej postawy. Zdecydowanie odradzam!
• Peter (6/5): Andawa Lanta Autobahn Feeling pur - Dass der Pool täglich gereinigt wurde. Die bildhafte Darstellung der Ansicht des Resorts mit Blick über den Pool zu einem dahinter liegenden Wald ist eine Darstellung die bewusst folgende Tatsache überdeckt: Die Lage des Resorts direkt an der Durchgangsstrasse nach Koh Lanta Old Town ist eine Zumutung. Da viele Fahrzeuge bis tief in die Nacht und auch am frühen Morgen mit fehlendem Auspuff unterwegs sind könnte man genausogut an einer Autobahn übernachten. Wir werden sicher kein zweites Mal das Andawa Lanta buchen.

• Monja (1/5): Respectloos behandeld. 5 dagen eerder weggegaan - Zag er mooi uit. Kamers waren opzich prima. Ik ben nog nooit zo respectloos behandeld in een hotel. Korte versie: onze kamer 2x overboekt, komen afspraken niet na, ik als vrouw word niet aangekeken of serieus genomen. Er is tegen ons geschreeuwd, er werd gespuugd, we zijn uitgelachen en we mochten eigenlijk nooit uitpraten. Lange versie: Eerste dag was onze kamer overboekt en moesten we naar een andere kamer. Ochtend erna gingen we op pad en vroegen of het goed was dat we in de avond van kamer wisselde. Dat was prima. ‘s avonds komen we terug en zeggen ze dat ze onze kamer opnieuw geboekt hadden en dat we niet konden wisselen. Ondertussen leefden we nog uit half ingepakte koffers. Ochtend erna gingen we ontbijten en zijn ze ons op scooter achterna gekomen omdat we NU van kamer moesten wisselen. Teug bij het hotel bleek dat onze nieuwe kamer nog helemaal niet klaar was en dat we alleen de oude kamer uit moesten en onze koffers maar bij de receptie (open hokje aan de straat) moesten achter laten. We hebben gezegd dat je zo niet met gasten om kan gaan en dat we ons geld terug wilde. We werden vervolgens uitgelachen, er werd geschreeuwd, gespuugd en er was geen enkele vorm van respect. We hebben meerdere keren aangegeven dat we graag ons verhaal wilde doen zodat we konden proberen dichter bij elkaar te komen, maar we mochten niet uitpraten. Na 2 dagen vertrokken naar een ander hotel, terwijl we 7 dagen geboekt hadden. Geen geld terug gekregen en booking.com heeft ook geen goede oplossing gegeven
• Robert (8/5): - Mysigt litet resort. Väldigt lugnt fast vi var där över jul och nyår när det var fullbokat. Liten pool, men sällan någon som var där så kändes aldrig trångt. Dåligt internetuppkoppling. Vi som var där 1 månad och hade förhoppningar om att kunna jobba lite hade önskat oss bättre wifi. Ligger lite långt bort.

• Henriette (9/5): Fint hotel for pengene, rolig og fredlig beliggenhed - Hotellet ligger fredeligt og et lille stykke fra byen. Men ligger til gengæld ved en lille hyggelig lokal by som har skønne restauranter, fin strand masser af indkøb. Vi lejede en scooter og havde derfor alt lige inden for hurtig rækkevidde. Vi kørte øen rundt, så kickboxing og hyggede ved pool og strand. Man får en fin morgenmad serveret på terrassen hver morgen. Der er et fint vaskeri meget tæt på. Fint lille hotel for pengene

• Julia (10/5): Experiencia de 10 - Si tienes la opción de quedarte aquí, hazlo. Pudimos alquilar moto por 200 bath, el sitio más barato, puedes contratar excursiones, el desayuno solo vale 125 bath y es super completo. La habitación es muy amplia y la cama demasiado cómoda, no hace calor, además que tienes aire y ventilador, está cerca de la playa y de un santuario de elefantes al que fuimos, 10 minutos andando, y también súper recomendado. La mujer que lleva el resort es muy simpática, siempre está sonriendo, no habla mucho inglés, pero con el traductor os podéis entender muy bien, siempre está saludando. Muy buena experiencia, si volvemos a Koh Lanta, repetiremos aquí
• Gullyso (8/5): First impression good, a few things need fixing - First impressions were very good. Picked up in a near new ute (that's a pickup truck for Americans). Grounds, pool, bed, and painting above bed gave it a very resort feeling like I was in Fiji. Breakfast quite good, welcoming and smiling staff. Bed large and comfortable. Booking and/or Andawa need to correct their information: It said free transfer from pier on my booking but it is not (costs 200 baht each) - fair enough price but change the information if not done already. Gardens, pool, and grounds very well maintained but maintenance in the unit itself was lax (little things mostly). Sink leaks a bit. One light bulb not working but didn't need so not reported. Needs hooks on walls to hang things. A few creepy crawlies came in through the open bathroom window (can't close it, probably for ventilation) so we kept the bathroom door closed! No TV channels (error message said poor or no reception) but you could probably connect a USB hard drive and watch a movie if you know how. I asked twice for the TV to be fixed and was told "later". After no action the second time I realized "later" actually meant "no I can't" -a common trait in some Asian countries to avoid unpleasantness and to save face. Nice guy and family though.

• Hornychová (9/5): Milý majitelé a krásné ubytování se snídaní - Ubytování bylo úžasné. Moc milý majitelé, vše vám zařídí. Pán nám půjčil skútr a odvezl nás při odjezdu do přístavu. Je zde možnost vyprání prádla. Pokoj byl hezký, čistý. Postel pohodlná jen manželská postel je trochu menší. Klimatizace, lednice, rychlovarná konvice na přípravu kávy a čaje. Bazén byl čistý a okolí hotelu tiché. Snídaně byla úžasná, každé ráno nám paní přinesla snídani na terasu před pokoj. Většinou vejce (každý den na jiný způsob), toast s máslem a džemem, džus, kávu a ovoce. Za cenu ubytování je to naprosto skvělé. Jediné, že nám špatně dovírali dveře a byla tam mezera.
• Kina (7/5): Schöne , aufmerksam geputzte Unterkunft an Hauptstrase - Im Zimmer gab es sogar einen Toaster und wie auch Betten immer steinhart sind kamen auch Ameisen zum kleinsten Krümel Essen. Es war dennoch gut geputzt und wir konnten spontan anreisen. Es war nicht sehr laut (hatten den Ventilator als Brown Noise laufen;) ist aber eben genau an der Hauptstraße, der Garten ist schön und der Pool sah einladend aus. Transfer zum Flughafen kostete 450THB Leider zog Weed und Nikotingeruch durch die Tür, besser Zimmer aufteilen, und nicht Nichtrauchende daneben einquartieren. Der Wasserdruck ist sehr schwach.

• Ben (7/5): Decent place overall, you get what you pay for - Nice pool and sun lounger area, the bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants along the beach which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There was lots of insects in the room and the bed sheets had a couple of stains on them. Air conditioning wasn’t very powerful which meant the room heated up significantly in the day.
• Alexa (7/5): A few disappointments - I hate leaving negative reviews, but my partner and I were a bit disappointed with our stay for a few reasons. Firstly when we moved in there was a blood stain on the wall in the bathroom, then we proceeded to have ants in the room. The cleaner came and sprayed but they came back, instead of moving us they just left us with the spray. One eve I spilled beer on the patio and asked for a mop to clean it up. Someone came with a dry one and just started mopping up the beer with it, instead of using water and cleaning solution. Again this concerned us in terms of cleanliness. Also the bungalows all face the pool, so it doesn’t feel very private. Especially if there are loud guests. The location of the property was on a main road with nothing around, so the walk to the beach/shops/etc wasn’t a very nice one. Especially if you’re on your own at night. Finally, although the staff were very lovely, none of them spoke much English which made it extremely difficult to sort out any issues or requests. We would never expect all locals to speak our language but for a company in hospitality for tourists, this should be a prerequisite.

• Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - Such a lovely family run accommodation. Helpful with any of your needs. Always there with a lovely smile. Really easy to hire scooters through them. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is simple, delivered to your door with a smile. Eggs toast coffee fresh fruit and juice like I say simple but delicious. The swimming pool is well kept and a welcome cool swim after a hot day on the beach. Nothing really It's a little walk down to the main street bars/shops and beach about 10 mins but it's an easy walk.

• Zoe (9/5): Superb - Lovely staff, room was clean and comfortable with a hot shower and the amenities you’d expect (safe, fridge, kettle etc). The pool was lovely and clean, and we had it to ourselves every evening when we went in so enjoyed it even more. The location is slightly out of the main area, however, if you rent a bike (which I’d highly recommend for the island) then it’s only a 10 minute drive to the beaches, view points, main attractions and bars.

• Lauren (10/5): Beautiful gardens, great pool and lovely room! - The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the fridge and kettle ensured you had all the essentials. The gardens were exquisite and so well kept. Motorbike rental available at the hotel which you will need to get round Koh Lanta. There are some shops and restaurants within walking distance. Nothing! Loved everything.
• Anezka (7/5): Good - Nice clean pool, when you rent a scooter (200bath) it’s nice location in the middle of the island. The staff didn’t really speak English so it was quite a struggle to arrange anything. A lot of small ants in the bungalow. Bathroom was falling apart a little bit. The breakfast is average, you get an eggs with little bit of fruit, something sweet, instant coffee and diluted juice. Couldn’t imagine being there without a scooter. And the staff keeps your passport when renting one.

• Kat (7/5): Good - Run by a lovely lady who was helpful despite speaking only a little English. Rooms spacious and one of the comfiest beds we have had in Thailand! We used laundry and bike rental services which were good value for money. Water would randomly cut off and on throughout the day. 15 min walk from beach and restaurants, which isn't too far but feels it on a hot day when you're hungry! Pool quite small so felt a bit cramped when other people there with you.

When you shower, you want to shower alone :) But there are always several pairs of eyes watching you here :) I understand that I'm in Thailand, but it would be easy to cover the shower windows somehow more tightly ;) All those creatures get into the shower overnight and wait for you to come :) Not only that, they also come to the room as guests :)))) The entrance door is sealed from the bottom, good. But still need to be done on the bathroom windows ;) Next is Price. While we made booking, it was ok for us. But the additional fee that you have to pay if you pay by card was not what we agreed on when we booked through booking.com. But you don't even negotiate, you charge extra and that's it. You cheat.
• Jeffrey (7/5): Lovely owners but I prefer quieter, less crowded lodging. - The staff are lovely and do a great job of maintaining the place. My room was clean. The landscaping is marvelous. The patio is a wonderful respite from the heat and constantly buzzing motorbikes that seem not to have silencers. Room was comfy, had a kettle and mini fridge, and the TV had all the latest high tech bling blong blangs. Buzzsaw motorbikes and trucks almost all day long on the main road out front. No credit cards accepted and no lockbox in room - even though advertised as such! Had to take out a big slab of bahts from the ATM to pay. Unreliable wi-fi from my room. Felt jampacked.
• Georgia (10/5): Perfect - Our favourite place we’ve stayed in the month we’ve had travelling around Thailand. Run by a family who are super helpful and friendly. In a good location aswell not too far from beaches and restaurants. 100% will stay again

• Michael (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - DO NOT RECOMMEND!! When we arrived we were told the hotel is full and they were overbooked. We were moved to 'sister' resort for 1 night who then tried to charge us again (at a cheaper rate as well for the night, meaning we were overcharged) We were moved to Andawa the next day and saw another couple who got told the same thing! Except reception couldn't offer them an alternative place to stay and told them 'goodluck, find a new hotel'. They also refused to give them a refund after they had already prepaid online. Book this place at your own risk. Ps. They also rented us a scooter that broke down the next day. Barely managed to get it back to the hotel. Zero remorse when asking for it to be changed.

• Ana (8/5): Good quality price. - The room was big and comfortable and the pool area and garden were well maintained. They do not offer transport from the hotel to the pier has advertised. They ask you to pay for a fee. Near the main road so quite a lot of noise.

• Andrew (5/5): Passable - The room facilities are great; AC, kettle, fridge etc. Good location too not far from the beaches and is on the main road. Would recommend renting a scooter from the family that run it, they are very nice and helpful. Our room became overrun with bugs after it rained. We moved rooms and it was fine after this, it was probably just a problem with that specific room. The pool could also do with a clean, lots of dead flies,
• Kg95 (10/5): Lovely stay in a quiet area of Lanta - Lovely little resort in a very quiet area of Koh Lanta. It's a good location for some quiet beaches in the south. Klong Nin beach is 10 minutes away and the area is amazing - quiet but lively. The beach is perfect for swimming. The rooms were modern, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We also had our room cleaned during our stay, which was lovely. The pool is amazing the garden is lovely to hang out in, as are the patios outside each room. The hosts are very lovely and always available to help. We had our washing done and they did a really great job, our clothes smelled great. They can organise tours and motorbike rental. We had a great stay! We were woken up every morning at approximately 5am by the call to prayer, which was extremely loud. This was maybe due to the fact that it was Ramadam and although we completely understand (as it is a largely muslim island) it was not ideal if you wanted to sleep in past this time. It is quite a bit away from shops/restaurants, but totally fine if you have a means of transport (we easily rented a motorbike from the hosts). They organised a taxi for us to our next location which was very pricey, but convenient all the same.

• Susanna (8/5): Nice with relaxing pool. - Pool was lovely. Room decent size. Bed pretty comfortable for Thailand! Walking distance to restaurants on the beach. Kettle in the room. Air con is in one corner round the side in the room so doesn’t cool it down very well. It was hot! No shade on chairs outside the room all day so couldn’t really use them and only shade at the pool is later in the day on the tables at the side where the grass is pretty overgrown which is ok if you don’t mind ants crawling up your legs. You can hear the road from the pool which takes away from the tranquility a bit.
• Katrien (10/5): Very comfortable budget stay with pool and very friendly owner-family! - For the price you pay you are treated as royalty! highly recommended! 4th time and never been disappointed. They don’t serve breakfast anymore, but you nee on’t pay for it either 🤷‍♀️!
• Harry (10/5): Great stay - Lovely staff, nice pool with plenty of beds. Good size room and balcony, TV had Netflix. Close to a couple of cheap and tasty restaurants. 10 min walk from the beach.
• Lukasz (10/5): Great spot to explore the island from - Big, clean and modern rooms. Very nice pool and amazing staff. Located in the middle of the island allowing for some nice extrusions on the scooter, which we rented at the resort. Close to the road, but it's quiet at night and never bothered us during the day

• Rebecca (8/5): Good value - Lovely big room with a nice porch area, the room was cleaner than most places I've stayed. Swimming pool was great and very clean also. You can hire a scooter from here, but you don't necessarily need one as the nearest beach/shop is around 10 minutes walk away. Staff charged us 100B for a 2 minute drive to our next place.
