• Kasia (9/5): Great stay - Great place near main train station, you can walk by yourself to most of the attractions. Really friendly owner, he recommended great places to eat nearby. Our room had one of the biggest and most comfortable beds I've ever slept in any accommodation. It was a bit hard to find the right entrance, you need to look carefully for the sign with the name of the apartment. Be prepared to pay city tax in cash, it was not a trouble for us but just remember to have some cash on you at arrival.

• Charles Ray (8/5): Close to Roma Termini and Tempio di Mecenate - We needed a place that was close to Roma Termini - this one filled the bill, literally minutes away. Not a problem for us, but some won't be comfortable that after check-in takes place, the host takes off, so there's not a concierge on-site. Our room was large, quiet, and clean, and had a small balcony. The bed was comfortable. Where to eat? Everyone we talked to recommended a restaurant that was nearby whose name I've already forgotten. It requires reservations and still the lines were long and the staff surly, so we said "No thanks!" to that and went exploring for someplace else. Who knew there would be so few options in Rome!?! Fortunately, we found Tempio di Mecenate. This was a restaurant that knew how to do it. Great staff. Great, genuine Italian food! All done in a space that was cozy, warm, and inviting, the exact opposite of the other place. And it was a bargain. We had two appetizers, two primis, two desserts, 1/2 liter of wine, and water, all for 61 euros - unbelievable! (Be sure to tip your waiter - he deserves it). Don't rush off - we were served complimentary limoncello at the end. Definitely a great way to spend our final night in Rome. In comparison to other places we stayed at, it was expensive, at 145 euros

• Faizan Atiq (9/5): Great value for money and good location! - The rooms look exactly like the pictures. They are not the most attractive rooms but for the price, they worked for us. The room was very roomy and the high ceilings made it feel quite open. It is located close to Roma Termini so that was a huge help for us. The staff was very attentive and responded quickly. They allowed us to store our luggage which was a big help. Overall a very good experience. You do have to climb a few flights of stairs to the 2nd/3rd floor depending on how you see it. So please expect that. The beds are the most comfortable but not a deal killer for us.

• Zack (10/5): - The room was nice and comfortable. I will state if you are a big person, the shower is very small, other than that, I have no complaints. The hotel is within walking distance of several key sites which I wanted to visit while there. the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Basilica of Mary Maggiore and more. Stefano communicated with me prior to my arrival and even offered to provide transportation from the airport should I need it. All in all it was a very pleasurable stay and I would not hesitate to stay there again should I ever visit Rome again.
• Yixin (8/5): A nice choice in Roma - Beautiful front hall and stairs. Simple decoration. The room is not big, but enough to hold two large luggages. 10-12 minutes walking from Rom Temini railway stattion. Stefano is very attentive, based on smoothly communications, he accurately follows up on our flight information, waiting at the reception to do the check-in procedures. The bathroom in our room is relatively small, and seems to have some problems with drainage.

We encountered transit strike during our stay and faced issues to reach cruise terminal. The host went above and beyond to help us with options and even make calls for us to arrange transportation.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Great CS but lacking 3 star hotel name - My experience with this hotel leaned more negative than positive. Starting off with the positives. The location is great! Especially if you come from Roma Termini you just walk 5-7 minutes to the hotel. Second Stefano is very nice and provides excellent customer service! Now for the negatives, it looks modern in photos but definitely feels more like a patchy job. The floors were quite dirty and bathroom had a few bugs that even after killing would come daily. I’m not sure if this is just a rome or Italy thing but the toilet was extremely tight in its spacing. Had put the sign for the cleaner to come twice and both times the cleaner only replaced the hand towels and the floor towel, no replacement of the shower towels and when making the bed, did not replace the pillow covers. I think if you are okay with a place to sleep at night and want nearby the station it’s not a bad option but if you value an actual 3 star hotel with service. I would unfortunately pass.

There was plenty of room: a living area with comfy chairs, a table with chairs and a coffee area or desk. Amenities were limited: two paper cups and two coffee packs per day, no drinking cups. It was great having a refrigerator. We got groceries at a near by store. Many restaurants were right down the street as well a Metro Stop.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Wouldn't stay here again - Terrible communication when it came to knowing how to enter the building (good luck figuring it out!). Then when we finally entered, two staircases and no indication which way to go, we ended up walking up the wrong one first and then had to climb again to the third floor. The owner seemed to blame us for not knowing how to get in, despite multiple emails back and forth and no information from him regarding directions. We assumed there was a front desk or at least some signage, but there was nothing inside the building. Three keys are required and none of them are labelled, so we wasted time trying to figure out which one is which - I'm on vacation, I don't want to have to memorize which key works where when they all look the same. No help in the front desk in case of emergency - you need to call or text to get help. First and last time staying there. Expensive, too, given the area and stairs.

It is a little difficult to find, the entrance is magnificent old style hallway, gotta to be seen. Please get in contact with Stefano before you arrive, he will give you exact directions and take care. Stefano also recommended some excellent restaurants for the best Pizza and Pasta in Rome

Although, we called him only a couple of hours before our flight to Rome as we weren’t aware the check in was until 18:00pm he waited for us until 23:00pm and was very accommodating and welcoming. He even gave us so many recommendations although it was late at night. The room was stunning and super clean, the location was super - we could walk almost everywhere and if you don’t like to walk there is a train station and buses next to the hotel. Thank you so much once again and we cannot wait to be back again.

• Maniola (10/5): Exceptional - It wasn't our first time visiting Rome, but this time was really special. The location of Stefano's house was very favorable for a trip with children and not only. The apartment had a lot of space and with everything you need, Even though there is no reception, Stefano makes it very easy to check in. Stefano, upon our request, allowed us an early check in and a late check out, making our stay in Rome perfect. Thank you Stefano! The metro station is located less than 5 minutes away (Victoria Emanuel station), with many bars and restaurants around. On our next trip, this hotel will definitely be our first choice!
• Tony (9/5): Highly recommended. Clean. A beautiful old restored building. - Location was super handy just a few minutes walk to the train station. We walked everywhere from the apartment. If you want to sight see, the BIG Bus and the other sight seeing buses leave from the front of the train station which takes you all around the city to all the sight seeing spots (highly recommend). Nice and clean, good comfy bed and also has a washing machine which was great for us on a month long journey. Nice and warm in the evenings. nice to have a seperate dining/lounge area. Room was serviced each day and towels changed which was really appreciated after some places we had stayed in. The host was absolutly fantastic! 1st time in was a little confusing finding the room but we were talked thru the process on wattsapp and the host was readily available to us and talked us thru it. I believe he has changed the instructions a little. In all fairness, we were very tired and i am not overly tech savvy and I definetly don't want to take anything away from the this great apartment.
• Leslie (4/5): Maybe better in summer? - Domus Napoleone was well-located near Termini Station, a 10-min walk, and A & B Lines metro stations. It was an easy 3 short flights up. The staff were excellent: efficient, helpful, friendly, and responsive. Our room was clean and spacious. That said, it was pretty miserable in early December. The heat is only turned on a few hours in the evening and the room never really warmed up. There was only one blanket on the bed. A good wool blanket, but not entirely adequate for us late-60's seniors. This was particularly important as one of us was ill with a cold. It was warmer outside than inside most of the time. The table chairs were very uncomfortable to sit on. I bundled my scarf and coat for cushions. There was a mini kitchenette but no dishes or utensils. The late night noise levels were out of sight. Dogs barking as they were brought in and out of the building for walks at and after midnight, young people talking loudly and tromping on the stairs. It was beyond noisy (our room was next to the stairwell). I think this hotel may be fine even better than fine in the summer and in a different room, just not in winter, not for the older set, and we are generally healthy active Chicagoans (we walk about 6 miles per day and workout).
• Jeffrey (6/5): - The location is convenient and close to Roma Termini and some major attractions. However it is a bit too close to some areas that some may feel uncomfortable. The room is very spacious given the price. Services are OK. You will need to read carefully the instructions for check-in. It's sometimes noisy when residents in the same complex walk up and down the stairs. There is no problem with other guests in the same facility.
• Ivan (10/5): Exceptional - We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Our group of four felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff were friendly. The location was perfect too – close to major attractions, and public transportation. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful, hassle-free experience!

• Lasonia (10/5): - Stefano met us at arrival. He helped with transportation for us. We had plenty room for four in room. Loved the stay. Only negative was no elevator.
• Amie (10/5): - Wonderful stay at Domus Napoleone. Stefano was very helpful and allowed us to check in early, which was great after a 15 hour travel day to Rome. Great location with walking distance to Termini station (main central station) and also a smaller metro station just around the corner. Was an easy walk to Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. Rooms were clean, spacious, equipped with mini fridge and safe. Room was well air conditioned with remote controller. Mattress was a bit firm, but comfortable pillows. No obvious signage outside so pay close attention to street numbers and look at pictures of what the entrance looks like. Would stay here again if visiting Rome in the future.
• Jorge (10/5): - The room and installations were very good. The attention by Stephan was beyond excellent, he was very accomodating at check time and was extremely helpful. Also the room was huge and the bathroom seemed recently renovated and looked great. The only issue may be with the television service, as they use SkyTV and is very choppy, dont know if the antenna is not configured correctly, but it was just a minor thing compared with the value for the room.

• Elizabeth (8/5): - We had 3 lovely days at Domus Napoleone. The room was spotless and great communication from Stefano. Unfortunately we had very disrespectful neighbours in the next room who thought it was okay to talk loudly and sing at 02.45 and then play electric guitar with amplifier and sing at 04.55. Sadly to say this happened on 2 out of our 3 night stay. We would happily stay again. Thanks Stefano.
• John (10/5): - We were arriving late and Tassiano was very good about communicating our check in procedures. The room was clean, comfortable equipped with very modern bathroom. The Metro was only 3 blocks away & the main train station about 6 blocks away.
• Misty (10/5): - Stefano was very attentive & provide us with details for tours & restaurants. Room was spacious & very clean
• Yasufumi (10/5): Exceptional - It wasn't easy to find a triple room but this hotel was perfect for us in Rome. The hotel was close to the Termini station, and it was clean and had modern facilities. They don't have a 24 hour check-in but Stefano made it easy for us. They let us leave our luggage the day of check-out.
• Kirk (10/5): My first visit to Rome was enhanced and made very special because of where I stayed. - I loved the marble stairways and the large wooden doors. My room was light and very comfortable. I had a small balcony that enabled me to sit in the evening and watch the street life. It was very close to many great restaurants. Nothing
