- Stephen (5/5): Is not value for money spent. Will not stay again - Not as advertised. No staff on site at check-in. No plates or cutlery. No toiletries as advertised.

- Lily (1/5): I do not recommend to anyone!! I did not feel safe or secure, save your money. - I didn’t like anything. When I arrived I noticed there is not much privacy, the main door didn’t lock properly, didn’t feel secure at all. When I entered the room I went to close the blind and noticed the window is very close to the property next door and straight away I accidentally came across someone sitting on the toilet, which wasn’t pleasant. The room had a slight smell to it, as well as the room looking nothing like the photos advertised, it looked like someone had taken sheets and blankets from home and put them on the bed and called it a day. Not only this but the person in the room next to us was yelling. All this together did not make me feel safe at all. I then complained to the lady at the office, which she wasn’t very professional and continued to say that I was lying about the man yelling next door, telling me nothing is their fault. So I packed my things and left after only being there for half an hour, I had enough, no refund was given since ‘it wasn’t their fault’. Terrible experience I do not recommend to anyone.
- Lyndon (8/5): I enjoyed the my stay. The receptionist made it enjoyable from the start - The receptionist was amazing. So helpful and kind. Represented the Motel perfectly. Had a some trouble trying to figure the tv out nothing to drastic
- CS (5/5): - Large room The rooms smell due to dirty carpet.
No hair dryer
No cutlery
- Ross (5/5): Asked to stay an extra week as soon as I arrived no feedback so as soon as my week was up I booked at another Motel - Close to facilities Lot of long term stayers
- janet (10/5): -
- Mark (1/5): - Clean People smoking outside and the seals on the property leaked like a sieve. Room stunk of cigarette, had to leave after only 2 hours. $170.00 wasted.
- Perera (8/5): -
- Layla-Jade (5/5): - The caretaker was wonderful. The owner.
- Maddie (4/5): - You had to get cutlery from reception and the room had a smell likely from the stained sofa.
- Carolyn (8/5): Was well suited for what we needed. - lovely staff
- Taalei (3/5): Wouldn’t recommend - Location large family room For a family room no plates n cutlery pull out lounge wasn’t the best small bathroom
- Feather (5/5): - Room was clean, beds comfortable enough for an overnight stay, linen was good, bathroom was clean. Room is dated. Entry door was swollen and would not close properly unless slammed shut, only one window had a screen to deter mosquitos, the weather was moist & warm, internet required for TV but not a good connection.
- Karson (8/5): -
- Roslyn (5/5): - Good location Very drab could do with an overhaul. Carpets looked dirty.
- John (8/5): - Room Layout Lighting in bed area very low room 9... and Noise (workmen)
- Amber (4/5): Disappointing and not worth the money spent to stay - clean very run down, WIFI was so spotty it may as well have been non-existent, TV worked sometimes but would buffer so often that it wasn't worth the effort and we gave up, freezer kept nothing frozen.
- Jennifer (7/5): Clean and comfortable, not too expensive and all we needed for an overnight stay. - Manager very helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Room is old and could do with refurbishing.
- Carol (8/5): Great space - The size of the room was amazing. Family room lots of moveable space for my son who uses a chair. Good amount of beds. Shower was awkward as glass hits vanity..
Internet connection wasnt grear for TV.
- Tyson (10/5): -
- Gerry (3/5): Poor value, old, tired. - Towels were good! It was clean.
The receptionist was helpful. Old, tired, 4 small cckroaches, cracked hand basin.. Poor value . 1960s and same fittings. Road noise. Curtains need replacing.
- John (3/5): -
- Debra (7/5): - Location is great
- Susan (2/5): We got a bed to lay on that’s all. -
- Craig (1/5): Beware of the Motel reviews and ratings - its not even a 1 star place - The room was very old even after a renovation, and the smell inside can not be described - maybe the floor as the carpet looked shiny in parts. When i arrived, the manager/cleaner told me that they had spent hours cleaning the bathroom in my room.
The windows and doors were all open, so when i closed them to turn on the aircon as it was 35 degrees, the smell took over. it was late, so i had to stay. I opened the window and turned off the aircon - so it was a very hot night.. the door lock/latch was loose and didn't feel like the room was secure - again what can you do? nothing
- Donna (8/5): -
- Joanne (7/5): - No breakfast at this motel...was clean and comfortable...could use a little cutlery
- Jeanette (10/5): - I liked everything There was nothing too dislike
- Suelen (6/5): Low cost, clean bathroom, but smelly carpet. - Good value for the money, clean bathroom, very friendly staff, spacious bedroom for 5 people, potent air con, very decent shower with nice water temperature, easy check in and check out, parking space. 1. The carpet! Jesus Christ in Heaven! It took us an hour and a half to ventilate the room and get rid of the awful smell. I understand carpets are cheaper but very old and smelly carpets are the best way to avoid customers returning to the same hotel. It’s unhealthy. I sneezed and coughed all night. My sister also had allergy symptoms.
2. Broken towel support
3. Also, the reception area was smelling cigarettes, despite the add of the hotel that says smoke free rooms. Not the best first impression.
- Rukshan (1/5): Worst stay at Nambour - Old, uncomfortable beds. Bathroom was not at all cleaned Staff and location. No safety, lots of druggies around
- Patrica (7/5): -
- Stuart (5/5): -
- Samantha (4/5): Uncomfortable and dirty bathroom - The spot it was in Mould on the roof of the bathroom
- Benjamin (6/5): -
- Kelly (3/5): Disappointing & will not return or recommend. - Not a lot really They called to confirm my arrival when I was half hour away and to ask the ages of my children, despite me providing all relevant information in my prepaid booking, I was advised when I got there they they required a credit card number for damages, this was not previously advised. The staff member at the front desk smelt strongly of alcohol, took me outside to point to my room without advising which number it was, I had to ask, then she told me that they had to make up an extra bed in my room despite me paying $220 for a family room which was already supposed to consist of a double and 3 single beds. There’s no cutlery, only 4 teaspoons and mugs which were unwashed. Toaster was left dirty also, not that I would have been able to use it as there’s no utensils to butter the toast with or plate to eat from. Not even a fork for my children to eat noodles.
TV reception was terrible, aircon was too small for the room, window dangerous due to fly screen being on the ground downstairs. Bedding dirty, uncomfortable. Carpets need cleaning also. Extremely disappointing after a long day of travel and the price!
- Michael (5/5): It's good to be over - Bed was terrible , carpets need replacing . Smelt like dogs blankets Carpets , lack of area to sit outside the room
- Michael (8/5): - Comfy, clean and suited our needs
- Andrew (8/5): -
- darron (10/5): - The receptionist was absolutely the most amazing person she helped us out 🙏 The customer service
- Karen (2/5): Disappointed given room we couldn’t lock and other rooms available - Location We could not lock our room, lock was faulted
- Rosa (4/5): -
- Corey (5/5): -
- Alex (7/5): -
- Grant (6/5): n/a - n/a n/a
- Tara (6/5): -
- Vanessa (4/5): -
- Saunders (8/5): Oldie but a Goody. - The new manager and staff were very helpful and very friendly to talk to. I could see the improvements that had already been done. I'm looking forward to seeing an older motel brought back to life.
- M Genevieve (5/5): -
- Sweeney (8/5): Comfortable and quiet - Easy to find and navigate Older style price was a little high
- Joe (1/5): Terrible.Never again. Come to Nambour every year and will never stay there again. - Nothing Shower and hand basin leaking water so bad couldn't sleep because of noise. Ran out of toilet paper. Room had terrible smell to it. Car parking spots so small couldn't get out of car.No utensils in room.
- Kris (7/5): Good -
- John (1/5): Couldn’t leave fast enough. - Had to ask for toilet paper, plates knives etc,not really clean, not up to the standard as advertised and definitely not value for money .
- William (1/5): Bad - The shower Room not ready. Fridge not clean or defrosted. No cups. Air conditioning not turned on. A very thin throw rug on the bed we were very cold all night Very thin pillows, asked for extra pillows and we were given one pillow and one cushion, had to go buy pillows. The room was not serviced for the 5 nights we were there. No clean towels for 4 nights. The reception wasn't serviced. Last day we found someone who could help us. Daniel tried his best to help. The only time we saw the owner was because we came one day early and she wanted to be paid for that night..Light not working. Curtains very shabby. It wasn't worth what we paid. Shame on you Sonia.
- Toni (4/5): Disappointing -
- Steffi (1/5): Bad -
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Comfy bed, lovely shower, very clean, microwave, friendly staff Thought it a little expensive for a 3 star accommodation, didn't feel safe with the door lock
- Steny (4/5): Only for sleepover is okay. - Location was good and parking was good. The door of the room doesn't seems very secure. The curtain of the windows was filthy and was covered in dust. Mould in bathroom, kettle and toaster was rusty and unclean.. paid extra money for this room and was not satisfied..
- Sharyn (9/5): Was good staff friendly - Quiet clean
- Rodney (4/5): Basic less than acceptable facilities - No iron
No hairdryer
No glasses
Cheap mattress
Asked not to use second bed
Expensive
- Scott (3/5): Poor - I found it quite poorly maintained and wasn't happy with my room .
- Kim (5/5): Passable -
- Dan (8/5): Very good -
- Cushla (7/5): Was comfortable for what we needed and location was good - Staff was very friendly and helpful Not the cleanest and things broken
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Sarre (7/5): Good -
- Anthony (1/5): Bad -
- Noel (7/5): Good - Great close to everything Car parking is small
, pretty intense reception lady
- Regan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrian (6/5): I would nit have stayed there if I knew about the broken entry door. - Clean and tidy. Rollers on bottom of Glass sliding entry door broken. Very difficult to open the door to get in or out. Had to call staff by phone to get out of the room the first time as unable to open the door. Could not see a working smoke alarm.
Debatable whether the room should be let as it poses a safety / fire threat to someone who could not open the glass sliding door.
- 04barb (5/5): Overnight getaway - Great location. We were able to walk to the town centre and RSL. Bed and pillows are too soft, and we woke up with sore backs. No shampoo/conditioner. Didn't supply a teaspoon to stir coffee with. The sliding door was a nightmare to get open and shut.
- Harry (5/5): Passable - The room was clean and tidy but we did miss some basic kitchen cutlery. The jug was not working when we first arrived but was changed for a new one once we notified the staff. The bathroom taps needed new washers to stop them leaking.
Overall the room suited our needs.
- Amanda (5/5): I don't know how to say something kind about this experience. - The lady was very friendly I booked at this property due to it being located out of town a bit, with a really big Carpark that I knew my Ute would easily fit in. I was redirected to the other property owned by these folks. It was not worth what i paid for, it was in the middle of town which felt really unsettled on a saturday night. I didn't feel safe. I had to park my Ute down the other end of the Carpark and the tray stuck out so far I was nervous it would hinder traffic flowing into the Carpark or be hit by another vehicle at night. Getting out of the Carpark at 4am was an absolute nightmare of micro reversals. Would not book at this property again in case they redirected me to the much lesser property in nambour itself with the terrifying Carpark. I have put off writing this review cos i dont want to be unkind, but booking . Com. kept sending reminders, so here ya go. This is my honest review.
- Gail (7/5): Good -
- Brian (3/5): Poor - It was a place for us to put our head down It was not a $160 room per night. So many things need attention.
Be careful of the WiFi. We were tricked into a scam. My fault but never the less it came through on their line.
- Atkins (8/5): Very good -
- Todd (7/5): Ideal for travel night stop over - Convienienent motel Maybe a bit dated
- Glynis (6/5): Pleasant. - The room was a good size, plenty of room for luggage etc. I needed to work online so it was good to have plenty of room and have a table and chairs. The room was hot during the day and the a/c worked very well. There was only a light blanket on the bed, but luckily there was a heavier one on the second bed so I doubled up and I also had my hot water bottles with me. There were no bed lamps.
- Molly (2/5): - Booked the room and they gave my room away ! When I arrived they had no room and had to drive me to a neighbouring motel.
- Warwick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Callum (9/5): Superb -
- Shane (4/5): Disappointing -
- Nancy (6/5): - Beds very soft
- Russell (5/5): Passable -
- Steve (5/5): Passable -
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (10/5): Nice family Motel the girl at reception was outstanding. Could not be more friendlier too much of a problem. - Right location walking distance to everything I need There’s not a lot I can say I just liked The Motel
- Kathy (9/5): I would be happy to return for a longer stay - I was very pleased all round. The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom has good towels and the water temp is excellent. It had enough facilities for my one night stay.
It is within walking distance of shopping and entertainment. Nothing
- Janet (6/5): Pleasant - Close to town of Woombye where we were attending a New Vogue dance & RNRoll event on the Sunday The price very overpriced for this type of motel
- Miranda (10/5): Good - Easy to find
- Charlene (7/5): Other then the bed it was lovely room - Staff were lovely room was good for what we needed just a quick one night stay The beds were way too hard for my liking and there were no extra blankets it was quite cold
