• johnmU9024ZM (10/5): Oasis of calm in bustling resort area - Too short a stay at Palm Garden! This was so restful and relaxing a place. Small scale, big generous lodge rooms. The palms and lush gardens surrounded by tropical tree covered hills, bird, frog and (welcome) insects are thriving. Lovely chill pool, good food and drinks and service. The team led by Bobby are so affable and thoughtful and kind hosts.

The staff are amazing and very helpful, especially bobbie the manager she went out of hwr way to make sure we had an exceptional time. • SarahV633 (10/5): Great stay. Great value - Large spacious family room. I loved all the entertainment areas eg restaurant, lobby etc were roofed but open to the air. Beautiful grounds and swimming pools. The staff were very helpful. If I complained about anything eg a broken toilet flush, they had it fixed within 20 min. Food was good. I particularly liked that at each breakfast there was a different "fresh snack" available - this was a local Thai treat that I had not seen in the street stalls. Pity that the happy hour was from 2-3 pm but we use that once. It is a bit out of town but all the local tours collect. And the beach is a 5 min walk. What an expansive beach and such calm water. A wonderful good float. Check out was also nice and late

Les bungalows datent de quelques années, mais ils sont spacieux, bien équipés et très propres. Le restaurant est pratique, la nourriture est bonne. Les lieux sont calmes, à dix minutes de marche du petit centre-ville. Le jardin est joli et bien entretenu. Je recommande sans réserve.
• Giant_Stride_SCUBA (10/5): Great SCUBA get-away - We spent 8 nights in the quaint, relaxing, garden hotel. First and form the staff is remarkably. Friendly, professional and their English is way better than my Thai. They were fantastic! We were SCUBA diving every day with Sea Beas, so we were only at the hotel for Happy Hour (5-6pm), dinner (6-8pm) and overnight in our room. The resort is small and personal, with only 20 bungalows (or rooms). The rooms are plenty large enough with all the expected amenities. The food and drinks were great and they were especially welcoming to our dietary restrictions. The rooms had plenty of space, and wonderful air conditioning. It was an exceptional value and I would certainly return.
• Girl-Friday56 (8/5): Palm Garden resort - I stayed here on a room only basis, the bunglows over looked the pool and each being semi-detached. All en-suite with fridge and safe. I had breakfast at the resort but found that it was cheap enough to buy from local supermarkets for lunch and to eat out at the many differnt restuarants within easy walking from the resort.

• ilonakuusela (10/5): Perfect accommodation to relax by the pool and go diving in Similans - The staff was so amazing, the room was very comfortable and the pool area was exactly what we needed. We also did diving trips with Sea Bees, and this setup worked very well. The location is 2 km from the beach and 700 m from a bigger store and restaurant area, so make sure you know check if this is something that's OK for you. Anyway, the truck taxis are easy to catch on the big road and they take you anywhere very cheap.
• romtas (6/5): Quiet hotel inmid a wonderful mini-park - By now I have been to this hotel several times. It is a tranquil little place inmid a small park with lots of wonderful orchids, blooming flowers and trees. This time round, however, I found two things rather irritating: The safe did NOT work. I got myself help from the reception desk, the girl was very nice and appeared helpful, however, I could not manage the safe. Secondly, some rather impolite and rough behaviour from the hotel management annoyed me pretty badly. As I was on two tours on Genesis, I offered to pack my bags the first time round; the lady in charge answered that I should leave everything as it was. I did not have to check out. The second time, however, nobody informed me of the hotel's wish for me to move out of the room on the days before my tour started. But they did so on the day when my second safari tour began - with 15 (!!!) minutes to spare. This behaviour towards a guest is intolerable - 15 minutes to pack one's bags!!!! This is ridiculous!!! They should/ could have let me know their wish for me to check out on any given days before tour II on Genesis and yet they waited until only fifteen minutes before my pick-up time. This treatment on behalf of the staff is definitely something that miffed me a lot.
• A5191DAcheryls (8/5): Lovely small hotel - We stayed here the night before a diving trip and then 2 nights after. I really liked the rustic bungalows around a lovely clean pool. The pool has a deeper end because Sea Bees does some dive training in it. The food was great and the cocktails. There was a two for 1 happy hour every night. We had our laundry done whilst we were on the boat. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We got a taxi to the beach as it was a bit far to walk in the heat. The only problem was I found the bed very hard and uncomfortable.
• 90kwm (8/5): Solid place - Stayed here for 5 nights while we dived with Sea-Bees. Pool, food, staff and rooms are all excellent, no real complaints. Only draw back to the place is its location. If you want a shop or another place to eat, you'll have to walk or take a taxi. Still, I would have no issue staying here again, or recommending this place.
• BillandViv (8/5): Nice quiet hotel, ideal for divers. - We stayed here for a single night before a liveaboard trip. The chalet style room was comfortable with the usual facilities. Food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. Sea Bees Diving (who own the hotel?) have an office there and were very accommodating including allowing us to store luggage whilst we were on the boat.
• xue (10/5): 很棒的体验 - 非常棒的体验，酒店虽然很小，但是绿化非常不错，泳池也很干净，前台有个笑起来非常甜的妹妹，对我们一直很热情，酒店经理也是位乐于助人的女士，除了位置稍微离镇上有点远以外，其他都很好。走出酒店那条小路，左手是考拉镇，步行估计要20多分钟，右手也有一个小镇，只需10分钟，那里有邦良市场，什么水果啊，蔬菜啊，海鲜啊，各类小吃店啊都有
• 752NK (8/5): Lovely - Stayed here for a diving trip. Rooms simple but clean, no hot water though. However we also weren’t bothered enough to flag it up, refreshing given the temperature. Food was excellent and cocktail happy hour was our favourite. They happily arranged tours for us and the diving live aboard was lovely. Basic but enjoyable.
• Jochen Stefan (10/5): Weiterempfehlung zu 100 % klasse Resort - Ein tolles Resort mit einem schönen Pool, nettem Personal, super Lage, gutes WLAN, preislich gut und sehr sauber. Das einzige was hier fehlt ist der Strand. Sollte ich zurück nach Khao Lak kommen werde ich hier wieder übernachten.
• Davide (8/5): nice resort / very kind staff - Resort and staff very polite and sweet. Good for divers (close to diving office). Wifi perfect. It is a good solution to rent a motobike.
• Pheonix91 (10/5): Great! - Big rooms with fan and air-condition, bathroom, safe, fridge. Swimming pool close. On premises Sea Bee diving shop so it is excellent for divers. Also a restaurant on premises which also can change money on official rate. Not exactly in Khao Lak but it is aournd 2 Km from the town and the hotel can call for a taxi which will take you there for 150 BAHT. For simple services and market you even don't need a cab just walk 10 minutes.
• 171phild (4/5): Nice staff but billed us for drink and food we dident have at end - Only nice thing about this place is the pool they billed us nearly £100 at end for food and drink we dident have so be carfull bathrooms leave a lot to be desired with only a cold tap on sink rubbish showers tiles hanging off the walls would not go back if it was free
• mike (8/5): Awesome no fuss hotel with cute bungalows by pool - Stayed for a few days enjoyed being in this delightful oasis close to one of the best local resturants in khoa lak. Great staff no fuss, will stay here again - special thx to Bobby and the staff
• Egil (10/5): Palm Garden resort , Khao Lak - Vi hadde 15 dagers opphold i Khao lak noe vi har mange ganger tidligere. Palm garden resort er det beste bostedet vi har hatt i Khao Lak. Hyggelig betjening , god mat, rent og stille rolig sted. Mye for pengene og kan på alle måter anbefales på det beste.
• cheryl (6/5): Would only stay if diving ...far from town - It is a perfect "night before" and "night after" liveaboard dive trips. It's pretty far from everything in Khao Lak so wouldn't stay here if we had not been diving with Sea Bees. Found it costly for value compared to other accomodations we had in Thailand.The Thai staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.
• einl2018 (10/5): Great calm Hotel, beautiful Pool - The Hotel is quite calm and not too big, the staff is really friendly and the food was just GREAT (authentic delicious Thai Food) and not expensive. The Pool is perfect and the rooms are simple but clean and good.
• duguid5 (10/5): Very nice hotel - Stayed here for 7 nights. Lovely hotel, very clean rooms with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool with plenty of sun beds. Highly recommend. Good choice of food available. It is about a half hour walk to the beach but you can hire a push bike or a moped quite cheaply.
• romtas (8/5): Quiet hotel situated in a beautiful & exotic garden - Park Garden Resort can be recommended, as it is a very quiet and comfortable little hotel that can boast a beautiful garden full of exotic blossoms. The best quality about it is that is a really tranquil resort where divers and.non-divers alike can relax and enjoy peace and quiet. There is an inviting pool in the centre of establishment.

• Jaymoony (10/5): Nice, quiet, good value - Very nice, little resort within walking distance of the heart of Khao Lak. Stayed here multiple times already and will come here again. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Typical for Thailand, nothing is ever too complicated to sort out and even if the restaurant is closed, it doesn't mean you can't have another drink. • Verified traveler (10/5): Clean and comfortable - The rooms were quite large and we had 2 that interconnected for 2 adults and 2 teens (13 & 16) which was more space than our family needed. The beach was very nice but sloping and the sea shelved off pretty quickly so that you were treading water within 4 metres from the shore. There is a floating pier that was fun to walk along when the waves were strong and undulating. For those needing to connect to Wifi, it was easily accessible around the pool and on the hotel lounge chairs that lined the property next to the beach. The hotel had a library, well stocked with mainly German and Swedish books but there was a small selection of English. The breakfast is good and plentiful, but early in the morning the birds were always sneaking in to eat the bread if a guest left it uncovered, so we were always making sure to cover it well. However, this can be a problem in many beachside hotels in Southeast Asia. A number of assorted restaurants are within walking distance.
• Ni_Na_Warsaw (10/5): Quiet and cosy hotel - We stayed in the hotel after a liveboard diving trip. The hotel is composed from cosy bungalows with bathrooms. It's a little bit far from the city center. The staff is great and advised us on trips in the area. The food was delicious. There is also a diving center (See Bees) in the hotel so it's perfect for divers. Hotel exceeded our expectations.
• Eric (6/5): Simple and clean - We were simply staying overnight prior to our SeeBees diving trip. It worked perfect for this because we got to try on all of our gear and change out as needed. Rooms are simple and our room was clean. Looks like they have a nice pool but we weren't there long enough to know. Breakfast was a standard Thai hotel breakfast. Friendly staff. Scooter rental for 250THB/day was well worth it - taxi to town was 150 THB one-way.
