- D3023NElaurah (8/5): Lovely Place but Perhaps a Bit Overpriced - I chose La Ferme D'Augustin after tons of research on where to stay in Saint Tropez and felt slightly underwhelmed. It is, in fact, a lovely hotel, so let me start with the positives. The setting of the remodeled Provencal farmhouse is lovely. The buildings are so well cared for and charming. The grounds are well kept. The rooms have been recently updated and the bathroom is stunning. Housekeeping is top notch and includes daily cleaning and evening tidying and turn down, which helps the experience feel luxury. They have a car that can shuttle you into town until 6 pm and you can rent bikes for a fee. Having a pool is a nice option and it's a cute spot. The deciding factor for us was the proximity to the beach. We figured we would want to be able to easily get to and from the beach anytime we wanted with minimal hassle, and it is just a 5-10 minute walk to Pompellonne. The hotel also made us a couple of reservations, which was a help. They also accommodated us staying an extra night without changing rooms when airport strikes affected our flight. Finally, there is ample parking on site and there is no extra charge for that. On the downside, I feel like it is extremely expensive for what you get, and yes, I realize it is Saint Tropez. I am usually pretty good at noticing things hotels don't make obvious, but I missed that there is literally no ocean view from anywhere on the property, except perhaps the high up balcony rooms. I had wanted a sea view balcony room but they were all booked and I knew I was not getting a room with a view, but I was under the impression you could see the sea from spots by the pool or that perhaps you could sit somewhere on the property with a water view. Just know that this is not the case. We took a Superior Room which is certainly not the lowest option and it is quite small, though well appointed. There are two closets and many shelves, but the room is tight. It has a patio but it's not very inviting - two iron chairs and table in gravel next to your neighbors. The bathroom update is luxurious, but in 2025 why would you not put a door on a toilet in a small hotel room? The toilet open to everything pretty much renders the beautiful bathroom useless for the other guest. Also, there isn't a real mini fridge, more like a fridge with a block of ice in the back with a warning not to put food in it. I am not sure if we had a new employee check us in, but we had to inquire about where to park and had no offers to help with bags. Given it's not a standard hotel with a lift bank, making many trips with bags through the parking lot, up stone steps, and through gravel after a 10 hour drive was not so fun or luxurious. We had a lovely stay and it is a pretty place. I personally just felt a little underwhelmed for the price. We stayed in shoulder season and the Superior Room was 800 Euro on the weekend and 500 weeknight. Partly it is Saint Tropez, but by comparison to other high end places like Santorini, Amalfi, Maldives, Val Thorens - the accommodations and views for the same price were jaw dropping, and included beautiful breakfasts in the stay.

- AJMLondon (10/5): Wonderful hotel in a great location.❤️❤️❤️ - We stayed here for two nights our second trip after staying last year too.The location is very good a few mins from Pampelonne beach and its beach clubs.A super friendly warm welcome from the team makes you feel at home straight away.Our room and terrace just perfect.A shuttle into St Tropez is an added bonus.A beautiful property super clean and peaceful what is not to like.We will for sure return here next year our favourite hotel in the area.

- AJMLondon (6/5): A lovely friendly hotel what needs a few improvements… - We stayed here for four nights in a junior suite.The whole team are lovely and super welcoming.It was disappointing our service dog wasn’t allowed by the pool so we didn’t get the benefit of this and our terrace only got sun in the morning.Breakfast which we paid for was average at best and somewhat miserly for 25 euros.You got half a glass of fresh juice,a yoghurt,tiny fruit bowl and some bread with jam.No hot breakfast you had to pay extra for anything hot individually and I personally felt let down by this.We ate one night in the restaurant and was just ok and overpriced for what you get I’d rather eat in the port for the same price.Overall a lovely hotel but if you have a dog you don’t benefit from the pool.

They refused to provide any kind of coffee maker or a plain water boiler. Later I purchased one in a Saint-Tropez supermarket for several euros. So, they are prepared to charge a thousand dollars a night, but unprepared to invest in furnishings to the tune of $1 per decade.

One of us were stung on the hand as the bees were quite aggressive. Once again it’s not the hotels fault but there is just a lot of bees. Furthermore we were taken on a tour when we arrived telling us they were showing us to our room. We arrived at what we found out was a suite and we thought that this was where we were staying. After we started to put our things down we were told that it wasn’t our room but instead an upgrade option. The lady wasn’t overly pushy but said she would make us a “nice price” when we got back to the front desk. Here she just told us the regular price for the suite (which was double of the room that we had booked) and then requested that we make her an offer for the upgrade. We ended up agreeing to an upgrade but the “haggle” didn’t feel very upscale in our opinion and was a bit off putting. I understand it’s a sales tactic (as the room obviously wasn’t booked that night) and we agreed but in hindsight wouldn’t have without the added pressure and incentive of being told it would be a “nice price”and going all the way back to the front desk carrying all of our stuff. All this to say, just be aware that when they show you to your room it might not actually be your room but instead a sales pitch.

- CompulsiveTravels (4/5): At best, a 3 star hotel room - This is at best a 3 star hotel (we didn’t spend too much time elsewhere in the premise so can’t comment there ; but just in our room). The rooms are old, few issues we ran into 1) no blackout curtain 2) no coffee/kettle in the room - need to ask for it. 3) room is small and old 4) hairdryer is one of those from the 90s attached to the wall 5) hot water taking a shower goes in and out. So can get really hot or cold for a split second It’s a “cute/charming” premise I suppose, but the room was certainly disappointing given the price tag. During check in, staff also tried to convince us to upgrade to a better room. Maybe it’s our room, but reminded me of my college dorm

Davide went above and beyond late night when we had a problem with our tub and was so attentive and nice. Nash and Arthur made our last night dinner a wonderful experience and made us feel like long time friends. Alain was so kind and patient with us as he drove us to and from town and made us feel truly welcome in St. Tropez. We will definitely be back!
- Goodverygood (10/5): As near to perfection ................ - I have known this little part of heaven on earth for over forty-five years. For me and my family its like coming home. I knew the origional owner who was head of the local resistance in the last world war. Squat tough and a terrific sence of humour. Taught me to play boule but only if there was a pastis at hand. I went early in the morning to market with him, a pastis with a coffee was de rigeur. I first went there to work and arrived at night it was very dark but a cold plate had been left in my room. Slept like a log to awake to flowers, sun and a delightful warm welcome. Breakfast on the terrace was fresh baguettes etc. home made jam and creamy butter. Delicious coffee. AND the food was beyond delicious. Breakfast is served now until 11.30 in your room or a quiet spot in the garden. The running of the Ferme has passed down the family and is now in the capable hands of Christophe who has inherited the special Ferme warmth not just from the sun but his greeting. The Ferme now has a swimming pool dug from Augustin's boule pitch. He would not have minded as the pool has a fabulous outdoor bar. The cocktails prime one for lunch or dinner. Non-fussy fo. od fresh and well, just perfect for me. I just love the way fresh fish is shown and then discussed how one would like it cooked. I could write a book about the Ferme but suffice to say that I went there three times the first year, before I was married the second time. I had my second honey moon at La Ferme! La Ferme is 150 m from Plage Tahiti who have a geat bar, have not tried the food because, well the Ferme's is only a little stroll away. By the way a thoughtful car is on hand to take one down to St Tropez, ten minutes drive For me and my family, who have all grown up, go there with my grand children. It is a bit special.
- Cassandra (10/5): - Easy walk to beach and free shuttle to town. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable, but the shower was hard to work and shot water everywhere. May want to ask for directions to use.
- BRUNO (8/5): - O hotel é muito bonito e próximo da praia (cerca de duzentos metros caminhando). Os funcionários são muito atenciosos. Há uma piscina com cadeiras e toalhas à disposição. O estacionamento também é muito bom, ao lado da maioria dos quartos e gratuito. Dois pontos negativos: 1) box do banheiro (11) sem qualquer proteção; 2) o café da manhã incluso contém uma cesta de pães, um suco de laranja, uma bebida quente, um copo com frutas, um pote de iogurte e dois potes de geleias caseiras, mas tem cobrança de alguns produtos básicos à parte (p. ex.: um ovo frito por 2,50 euros; três pedaços pequenos de queijo por 11 euros). Entendo que pelo valor que é pago pela estadia, esta cobrança é totalmente desnecessária.

- Ellen (10/5): - We had the absolute best stay of our vacation at this beautiful property! We stayed in room #45 which was a garden suite. It was so lovely and full of French country charm! We ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and also enjoyed a short walk to the neighboring Italian restaurant. The pool was magical and just a short distance away was the beach clubs (Nikki Beach) and the quaint town of St. Tropez. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Do not pass up this gem! Drink in the beautiful and peaceful ambiance that this historical hotel has to offer, you will not regret it! We especially loved meeting the family that runs this amazing property and please say "Bonjour" to the amazing Augustin grandmother! She was such a delight and so welcoming to us! The food at the hotel was fresh and good but there aren't a lot of other options nearby so a car is a good choice when staying here. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

- Jay (10/5): - La Ferme d'Augustin is a simply magical property! The aesthetic is pure French countryside and it is impeccably landscaped and clean. Service and facilities were wonderful, with a terrific breakfast and fresh, local seafood offerings for dinner. Our jr. suite was spacious, well appointed, provided air conditioning and had a lovely, private patio. The pool and outdoor bar area were very tranquil and refreshing. Lastly - it's a very short and convenient walk to Pampelonne Beach with easy access to beach clubs. La Ferme d'Agustin was the highlight of a wonderful trip to France!

- donna (8/5): - This property was very charming. The beach is walking distance. Not walking distance to anything else so you will need a rental or they have a car service you can call ahead that can bring you in St Tropez city center. It’s about a ten minute drive. Staff is wonderful and I see a lot of couples and families. The food for in room service was delicious. Only suggestion is they have a lot of wonderful scents like candles in room and I am sensitive to some smells so request no oils in room if your sensitive too (perfume) smells like me. Overall a great beautiful place to stay.

- Verified traveler (4/5): terrible service - The water tank broke in the area during our visit so we were not able shower or use toilet during our stay. This just wasn't acceptable for the rate we were paying. They even checked us in without warning us of the situation nor came to apologize/ offer any solution. They waited until we figured out what was going on and when we complained, they only asked us to wait it out. We ended up checking out early but they still charged 100% of the nights we stayed. I heard this wasn't the first time this hotel didn't have running water. I would be very careful booking them. For a 4 star hotel, I would at least expect them to fix the problem quickly or offer a refund.

Heated pool was nice as well. Breakfast was wonderful & had an amazing view on the terrace. Would absolutely love to come back here!

- Mark (6/5): Average, not worth the $600 price tag. - For the price, it did not deliver the value paid for. The Internet did not work well. When I was trying to check in with work, it wouldn't let me connect and when I did connect it was almost not usable. The check in area was more like a sauna than a hotel lobby. It is right next to a kitchen and when coupled with the high heat and no air conditioning, it made for a sweaty miserable check in experience.

The food had a different taste - like from another soil, another earth.I was having tomato salads and eggs a la coque for breakfast from their garden. It was bringing me back memories from my childhood-that’s how authentic and unique the food was! The staff - including everyone - were talking to you while smiling! You felt part of a farmhouse,original, Saint Tropez family. ‘Bonjour’ had an added sweetness in it. I highly recommend it.

Wifi is dead, barely able to get a phone signal anywhere on the property the only good thing was the food. the smell as O opened the room was like an animal had passed away and dont get a ground floor room unless you're into voyeurism..... not good and very VERY over priced
- Marina (10/5): beautiful hotel. Great location - A large territory, very spacial. Nice gardens with sculptures. We had our 1 year grand daughter with us, so that it was convient to have walking space around. A car is needed though to go any else where. Some rooms have a small adjoining garden, which gives a more spacious feeling, and the ability to seat outside in nice weather too.
