Mention spéciale pour la tarte d'anniversaire et le gentil mot avec, qui était l'apothéose d'une super journée et dont j'avais bien besoin n'ayant pas pu dîner ! La connexion internet était lente le matin entre 7 et 9h (quand tout le monde se connecte dessus).

• Laila-Saada (8/5): Perfect Cusco stay for pre and post hiking plans in Machu Picchu - The hotel has an unbeatable location, very central and walking distance to every point of interest in town. We stayed in this hotel twice, pre and post the Inca trail hike. Our first room was very close to the restaurant on the 3rd floor and we stayed up all night due to late arriving guests and very early breakfast preparations next door. We changed rooms upon our return and this changed our experience completely. the rooms are tastefully decorated and have all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The colonial courtyard architectural style is beautiful but offers little peace becasue all the rooms are exposed to the central courtyard and the sounds echo loud. Staff go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and catered to. I would go back just because of their warmth and friendliness.

• BrookieMW (10/5): Incredible stay at the Andenes - Our stay at the Andenes was incredible from start to finish. David was the first person we met when we arrived in Cusco. He was friendly, informative, and had a calm demeanor which made us feel relaxed and comfortable after a long day of travel. He gave us great recommendations for food options and things to do in Cusco. We truly enjoyed chatting with David and staying at the Andenes. The breakfast was so tasty, employees were cheerful and kind, the hotel and rooms were beautiful and clean, I could go on for hours about how great our experience was. They provided complimentary water and Coca tea which was helpful avoiding altitude sickness. They also had a luggage storage system to help store our things when we were gone hiking for a few days. I had accidentally left my charger in my room when we packed up to leave for our hiking excursion. They had saved it and given it to me when I returned back from the hiking trip, it was so thoughtful of them to do that. We felt well taken care of and had the best experience. We would highly recommend anyone traveling to Cusco to stay at the Andenes hotel!

The hotel itself was very cute and well equipped for our stay, with staff being welcoming from the minute we arrived! Our room faced the inner courtyard and as such we were able to hear conversations, people dragging bags etc at all times of the night.

• citlalli99 (10/5): Wonderful stay in Cusco - We had a very lovely stay at Andenes Hotel in Cusco. We stayed in the big room with the lofted ceilings and it was so worth it to have the extra space--- it's a wonderful room. The hotel is beautiful, located in a perfect spot between the Plaza and San Blas areas, you can walk to so many restaurants and shops from the hotel. We had lovely service here. We were checked in and out by David who was very wonderful, and there was another woman who worked the front desk during our stay that was incredibly helpful and kind, but I did not catch her name. David gave us local recs for restaurants and was super friendly. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel had an area for water, tea, and snacks available all day long, and even has an oxygen tank if you need extra support during your stay. We loved this hotel and I would highly recommend it while in Cusco! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The hotel and rooms are quiet, and always super clean and stocked us with tea’s, snacks and staff are always on hand to help. Comfortable rooms and beds. We stayed a few times between trails and staying elsewhere so tried a few rooms and all comfortable and good sizes with safes, hangers, and toiletries stocked up! They were super accommodating with storing our luggage while we did the Inca hike, even provided breakfast bags before trips.

They were also flexible to Chang my room which was perfect for 1 night ( though it was off of the main plaza and guests could be heard leaving at 4am) but there was an issue with the laundry service, where I was told I’d could be done over night, but then was not done at all. So that was djssapointingvsince I was leaving for a 4 day trek where I needed the clean clothes. Everything else form the beds, linen, food and feeling overall was a delight. And I would happily stay there again

• allisonaR2666RN (10/5): Cuzco Hotel near the Main Plaza - The Andenes by Mountain Lodges was a great hotel to stay in while in Cuzco!! The location was perfect, not only was it close to the main plaza, but it was also at the bottom of the hill in San Blas, so we didn’t have to walk up or down hills to get back to the hotel. We arrived fairly early around 10:30 AM and they allowed us to check-in early at no charge! The free breakfast was okay, pretty standard at what you’ll see at other hotels in the area. And they also allowed us to keep our bags there when we left for 4 days to do our trek, all free of charge. When we returned, they had already brought our bags up to our room. A nice touch! They had heaters, but they would only turn on at night (which is usually all you need). It wasn’t a 5-star hotel, but for the price it’s worth it. The staff (David especially) was very friendly and I would definitely stay again!

• 0061judy1003 (4/5): Agreed on Upgrade for AUD 100, Charged USD 100 Instead — Refund Promised but Still Not Received - To cut the long story short, the hotel charged me USD100 for an agreed room upgrade at AUD100 for 2 nights during 20-22 April, from an economy room to deluxe room. The receptionist, David, approached me with an EFTPOS machine, entered "100," and assured me the charge was in AUD (Australian dollars), as previously agreed. The next day, I discovered that I had actually been charged USD 100. We went back to the hotel twice requesting a refund. The hotel later explained that they "operate in USD" — but in that case, David should have charged me only USD 63, the equivalent of AUD 100. They agreed to refund the overcharge within two days. However, I still have not received any refund. Please see all supporting documentation is attached. I strongly advise caution when booking this hotel—they appear to use deceptive practices to overcharge guests.

The hotel was a great little base of operations for several trips around the Sacred Valley. Great complimentary breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

• Bonnie (8/5): - This was the best of our 3 hotels during our recent trip to Lima and Cusco. They really paid attention to small details throughout the property and keep it well-maintained. They offer very clean rooms and bathrooms with bottles of water, daily housekeeping and extra towels (not available in other hotels). There is a tea station available 24 hours and the breakfast was delicious. Very close to main Plaza de Armas and several restaurants, stores, and spas, all within walking distance. They also keep the main door closed/locked at all times and have someone available to open for you, which added a level of security. They few critiques I can offer are better hot water in the showers. We had to run the water a very long time to get it mediocre hot. After being outside in the cold rain all day, a cold shower is brutal. The walls are thin, so not ideal for sleeping in when everyone is moving around in the courtyard. Lastly, there are old school key locks on the room doors that require you to lock with the key from the inside - not major but could be problematic in an emergency. Even though it’s a smaller hotel, there was always someone available to help us. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience or value!

Snacks and beverages in the central courtyard at all hours. Safe and secure manned gate at the front entrance. We had a great stay!

• Hannah (10/5): - David made me feel super safe as a solo female traveler, he has great suggestions and advice. The staff is extremely attentive and makes it a point to be "unseen" but I enjoy their company. Very kind, the breakfast spread is immaculate! Clean rooms, hot showers, big fluffy towels, beautiful common areas, amazing views of Cuzco from the roof terrace, soft, local blankets on all the couches/beds, 24/7 tea and coca station. Overall just a wonderful stay. I love the courtyard with the flowers and hummingbirds, all the yummy choices at breakfast, and how helpful the staff is. They even taught me some Quechua while I was there. Lovely experience all around.

• Kevin (10/5): Most outstanding experience in my three weeks of traveling, South America! - Our front desk staff David absolutely exceeded our expectations and was incredibly helpful when my partner’s phone had issues he spent hours with him trying to sort out the problem by letting him use his personal phone and the hotel staff also had Care packages for us with a nice lunch for when we had to leave the hotel at 2 AM to get to the Machu Picchu train at 3am. And the overnight guard was always so kind and wonderful overall an outstanding experience and would definitely recommend this beautiful quaint hotel with a wonderful breakfast buffet. PS. This is Sara and not Kevin, I must be on his booking.com account lol There’s not one thing that I could nitpick. The whole entire experience was absolutely outstanding!

• Janelle (9/5): Well worth it! - Loved the location and rooftop patio. Breakfast had a wide selection of hot and cold and eggs made to order. The central courtyard was a nice place to sit. We stayed on the second floor and could open the window into the courtyard for some airflow. Close to plaza des Armas. 24 hr security at the front door, good help at the front desk.

• Janelle (8/5): I would stay again but ask for a room in a different location - Loved the amazing rooftop patio! A great place for coffee or breakfast. The staff was very helpful. There was 24 hour security on the front door. Very nice coffee, hot water and snacks station available. Our room was on the first floor and the lights in the common area shone into the room so it was not dark enough for us. Because the window didn’t open, the room was hot and stuffy. The second night, we actually left our door open, and pulled the curtain across the doorway to get some airflow.

• Amy (10/5): Family vacation adventure in peru - We Stayed in Cusco and was able to walk to almost everywhere until we took a two day tour to Machu Picchu and the sacred valley. We stayed in Machu Picchu but Kept our hotel in Cusco where we returned for the remainder of our vacation. The room price excellent, service excellent and breakfast fabulous. Absolutely would stay here again

The location is perfect, in the lower part of San Blas, just two blocks from the main square but far enough from the noise. Plus, you don’t have to climb stairs to reach the hotel. The breakfast is delicious and very varied. The room has an extremely comfortable bed. I highly recommend staying at Andenes.

• Ulises (10/5): Sin duda, volvería!!! - Excelente opción. La relación calidad-precio fue muy buena. El desayuno era variado y delicioso. La zona es segura y tranquila, está a un par de cuadras de la plaza principal y accesible para la zona Arqueológica de Sacsayhuamán. El servicio y atención en todas horas fue muy bueno, y las instalaciones son cómodas, limpias y lindas.

• Elin (10/5): Our favorite hotel! - We stayed in four different hotels in Cusco and this was by far our favorite! The bed was amazingly comfortable, especially with the duvet. The room was modern and, had a radiator which we were happy to use. They also offered us a breakfast box for our early morning departure

• Andrea (5/5): Beautiful hotel, but too noisy - The location was great, very central to the area. And the property was beautiful. I really liked the old building, and decor. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was great, too. I was given a room right by the main stair case, and it was very noisy at night when people were coming in. This room was also smaller then the one I had originally booked. The doors are very loud and people tended to slam them. So I had troubles with sleeping due to all the noise. My neighbors would talk loudly right ourside my door as well. Perhaps you could tell guests to try to keep the noise down when coming in at night. If people understand that noise carries in the place, they might be more conscious of how they are coming in at night.
• Christy (7/5): Good - Good shower, great breakfast, they let us leave luggage there while we hiked. Good location. Lots of fireworks went off literally all night long, it sounded like it was from our rooftop it was so loud. Noone was able to sleep well unfortunately.

• Keith (10/5): Loved it! - The bed is the most comfortable bed in Cusco! We have stayed at all of the casa andinas and this hotel beats all of those. Breakfast was amazing. Just far enough form y the main square to not be noisy and close enough to walk without getting tired. Super clean! Check out is very early but they do allow you to check in early as well.
