• Thomas (8/5): A Comfortable Stay in Calibishie - Rainbow Beach Apt offers a good location with lots of room. The ac in the bedroom worked well, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant and bar can get loud, especially on karaoke night. The tiny mosquitos and noseeums were a nuisance. The lighting is not very bright

It was great watching the sunset from the hamocks and sleeping in the comfortable beds with the sound of the ocean waves. Everything you needed was provided. Downstairs there is a good restaurant serving local food. The area is good and Suzan is a lovely person, giving us all information we needed. Nothing at all

• Morris (10/5): Would recommend - Our hosts were welcoming and found time to explain the use of facilities in the apartment. The apartment was in a great location with the sea view was stunning and shops in walking distance. There is a restaurant on site serving great food.

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. Miss Molly, the owner, is a truly wonderful woman; warm, gracious, and attentive. She would check in on us simply to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time, and her kindness really set the tone for our stay. Susan, our host, could not have been more accommodating. Every request—big or small—was met with patience, enthusiasm, and such genuine care. She went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible, and we truly did. The location is stunning. Breakfast on the balcony each morning felt like something from a dream, with peaceful views and the soothing sound of the sea right below us. The restaurant downstairs was excellent, and we also explored other restaurants along the same road—each place was welcoming, and several went out of their way to cater beautifully to our vegan needs, which meant a lot. Calibishie itself is full of charm, good people, and peaceful beauty, and staying here made it even more special. We would return without hesitation and recommend these apartments wholeheartedly. It is a place filled with serenity, hospitality, and genuine warmth—set in one of the most beautiful spots you could imagine, right at the sea’s edge. A blessing of a holiday in every way.
• MAREK (9/5): Prawdziwe nieturystyczne Karaiby. - Świetnie wyposażony apartament na pierwszym piętrze nad restauracją. Dwa tarasy z widokiem na Atlantyk. Na jednym tarasie dwa hamaki. Kuchnia wyposażona we wszystko co potrzeba do przygotowywania jedzenia. My sami robiliśmy śniadania, a kolacje jedliśmy na dole w restauracji. Sklep kilka metrów od apartamentu. Calibishi to mała autentyczna karaibska wioska. Miejsce dobre dla osób lubiących ciszę i proste wiejskie klimaty. Kilka kilometrów od wioski przepiękna plaża Batibou. Byliśmy na niej sami. Niezbędny samochód. Dotarcie do najbliższej plaży to 3 km samochodem po szosie, a potem 20 minut pieszo drogą przez las /jeśli będzie otwarty szlaban można dojechać do plaży nawet niewielkim SUV-em, plaża jest prywatna, jeśli ktoś będzie kosztuje 5 USD od osoby/. Jeśli ktoś ma „lekki” sen mogą mu przeszkadzać hałasy z restauracji, ale o 22.00 jest cisza.

• Jörgen (9/5): Wonderful stay in the most relaxed village in Dominica - Perfectly situated in Calibishie. Tastefully decorated and well equipped. Superfriendly host! We were happy both bedrooms had A/C, but we prefered spending our time at the hamocs, overlooking the ocean. The neighbouring restaurant/ bar can be a bit noisy in the evening. This typically ends around 10/11 PM. For us, it added to the ambiance.
• Linda (9/5): Cozy condo in heart of a village. - Spacious, well-furnished, very cozy. It seems like an older building with a wooden floor and high ceiling which we appreciate. It had two balconies, and looked out onto the sea. There was a small beach next to the bullding where you could get into the water, although it is shallow. It was easy to park next to the building. This is about as close as you can stay to what is undoubtedly the most scenic beach on the island called Batibou, which costs to enter, and takes about 20 minutes to walk to, but oh my, you will love it. I liked sitting on street side porch and watching the village folk go by. Microwave didn't seem to work (?) or needed directions. Same with TV. Small ants were a constant problem. AC only in one bedroom. Restaurant/bar with music is downstairs, would have preferred a more quiet space, but once we hunkered down with the AC and the fan in one of the bedrooms it wasn't too bad.
• Laura (9/5): Superb - The property manager met us to deliver the keys and gave us a tour through the apartment explaining things along the way and also answered all our questions about the area. The apartment is located over a restaurant so slightly noisy at times, but it did not go late into the night.
• Deirdre (10/5): Would love to go back!! - The location was great! Very clean, all the comforts of home and many great spots to just relax and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The people even better!! We really did enjoy the local culture and everyone was happy to help us out in providing any information we needed. Shout out to the Nets of Reef Restaurant downstairs. Food was fabulous as was the service.. greeted with a smile every time!

• Peter (10/5): Beautiful and comfortable apartment in a great location. - Well equipped and beautiful apartment, with balconies overlooking the sea, and next to the restaurant that we thought the best in Calibishie. The host was very helpful and responsive. She can arrange taxi trips through her partner too, which helped us enjoy our time in Calibishie. Nothing at all.
• Becky (10/5): A great stay in the heart of Calibishie! - Rainbow Beach Apartment was perfect for our first night in Dominica! It's a simple place with a great location and everything you need. Susan is a great host - we messaged through WhatsApp and easily coordinated check-in and check-out. She also gave us local recommendations and insight into the cruise ship schedule so we could plan our activities around it. The apartment is downtown Calibishie, right on the ocean. We really enjoyed having coffee on the deck and swinging in the hammock (bring bug spray for the evening). One of the bedrooms has air conditioning which kept us perfectly cool all night. The other one doesn't have AC (there's a fan) and is on the road, so might have some road noise. We ate at Nets of Reef, the restaurant downstairs, twice during our stay because the food was delicious. It's street parking but there's several wide spots right next to the unit and we weren't concerned at all with this. It's about 25 minutes from the airport and less than 10 minutes from the road to Batibou Bay/Number One beaches. Overall it was a great experience! Note - we were initially a little confused about payment because it was outside of booking.com. We paid via credit card when we got there. You'll have to provide her with your email and pay through a separate site called Tab (which appears as Untouchable Tours on my statement). I didn't see this mentioned in any previous reviews when booking and would've appreciated knowing it's legit!
• Herbert (10/5): Top stay in the north - Great gem/ apartment right on the sea! It is not a luxury accommodation, but there is a lots of space, ammenities, and the hosts are really friendly. The view from the terrace is great and give you a real holiday feeling. The location is great, close to all restaurants and shops and especially the downstairs restaurant is recommended. Only airco in 1 room, so the other room was really hot in summer. I did not find an easy place to enter the sea directly at the apartment. Payment procedure was a bit complicated.

• Rae (8/5): Lovely sea view apartment - Lovely well equipped apartment right at the edge of the sea with fantastic sea views and 2 spacious terraces. Close to restaurants (one next door) and a shop. The air conditioning unit in the main bedroom was noisy and there isn't one in the 2nd bedroom or living area.

• Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Location! Location! Location! This was our favorite place we stayed out of several islands by far because it sits right on the coast. The waves are spectacular there, there are beautiful rock formations in the view, and you have a sitting area to eat, a sitting area with comfortable chairs to look out, plus hammocks in another area. We absolutely loved it here and we'll certainly stay here again when we come back. It's not luxury accommodations, but the location makes up by far for any small issues.

Fantastic beaches within walking distance. Super helpful host. Loud construction trucks passing by outside (9:00-4:00). Not the host’s fault and not really a problem because we were out hiking or at the beach during the day.

• Isabelle (9/5): Superb - We came to Dominique Island with no real expectation. This island was a surprise for us and we didn't heard before about this island. WE arrive and went to calibishie which was fabulous. The owner was present and perfect, she respond to all our neeeds and gave us good advice about the island. She lives there as well. The place was beautiful, full of space with its 2 rooms. A huge balcony was at our private disposition with table and hamac. The view , just a word WOW. There is all you need for cooking with small grocery at 2 minutes walking. Of course depending on what you are looking for, this place is nice, typical and quiet. There is also an excellent restaurant just under the lodge.

• Katrin (10/5): Seaside Perfection - The apartment is a roomy two-bedroom, with a balcony overlooking the ocean. It is located within walking distance of stores and restaurants, yet quiet. But the real reason for my five-star review is Molly, the owner. She is a gracious, generous hostess, who will do everything within her power to help her guests have a great experience. We will definitely be back.

• Samantha (10/5): Great place to relax and close to the airport - Absolutely loved staying at Rainbow Beach with Molly…comfortable home well situated in Calibishie. Restaurant on site has fabulous food, service, and entertainment. Will definitely return! A hidden Gem and another delightful memory in Dominica we loved the property, especially the hammocks on the deck overlooking the ocean. An extra fan in the living room would be nice for anyone sleeping on the fold out.
• Ls (9/5): Spacious 2 bedroom apartment, nicely designed and with local feel. Great veranda to chill. - Molly was an excellent hostess. Beautiful view from the spacious veranda - perfect to enjoy breakfast, read, and evening cold beer. Close to bars, restaurants, supermarket, ATM not ideal for swimming - rocky and sea is rougher on east side of the island, but perhaps okay in high season.
