Guest Reviews
- Arzu (10/5): - A lot of space and pretty
- Christina (8/5): - The staff is very nice The rooms are old furniture, the beds are very uncomfortable, like the other reviews say Some rooms have newer wood floors, mine (I’m assuming because I booked through Expedia) I got the old carpeted room. There is no stove in kitchen area. There is also no shampoo/conditioner/body wash on the bathroom wall. You have to return the beach pass by 8:30 pm (they only have 25 passes per day for use)
- Christina (8/5): - The front desk staff was very nice! It would be great if they had a stove top
- Ann Marie (10/5): - This may be an older piece of property but the fixures in the rooms we very nice. The pool and hot tub clean and enjoyable.
- Elena (8/5): - Very spacious but has a little oldish order in the room. Also, the mattress is very uncomfortable.
- Daniel (10/5): - I li ke that it was up to date. The rooms were cleaned the bathrooms were modern . I didnt like that there were no 2 bedroom on site
- Verified traveler (10/5): Overnight stay - The staff was extremely friendly and check in was a breeze. The room was newly renovated and very comfortable. Great A/C. I was a little disappointed that there was no coffee supplied, although there was a coffee pot. Also no iron or ironing board. We were looking for these items after hours so I don't know if they would have been supplied to me upon request. The resort was very quiet even though it seemed full. A hidden gem!
- Tracie (8/5): Comfy and clean, but with some disappointments. - I love booking through this app. But the place I stayed which is Pier 7 condominiums was super infested with spiders some inside but an ungodly amount on the outside of the door and the side of the buildings, that just really creeps me out and worries me about people that have phobias or just plain allergic to spider bites. I had to kill four or five in my room when I got in, and I did not venture back out because of all the ones outside. But inside the room besides that was very comfortable bathroom was amazing and it was quiet.
- PRIYANKA PRAVIN (10/5): Recommend! - It was an amazing place to stay. The receptionist was great too. Would definitely recommend:)
- Matthew (10/5): - It was a great stay. Lots of space, the staff was very readily available and helpful. The room was clean and it was right down the road from downtown.
- Adam (10/5): - The room was clean, air conditioned and well appointed. Only drawback was right next to a main road, but fortunately, they moved us away from there. Would highly recommend
- Susan (10/5): - Staff was friendly and attentive. Check in was quick. Room was clean bathrooms were sparkling. Playground on premises for little ones was simple but a great imaginary pirate blast.Pool was clean.Cookout area was clean. Was a wonderful place to stay! Mini golf across street and restaurants . Would rent it again.
- Michael (8/5): - The room was very comfortable and clean. Nice restaurants nearby.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We had a nice stay in 1 BR condo for couple of nights. Everything is very close by to this condo. 2 bathrooms, pull out sofa bed and little kitchen were wonderful to have.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Loved the shower. Water hot and pressure good . Room was rather tight and bed was small ,but very clean . Refrigerator and surrounding area was a plus. Restaurant's within walking distance.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The Room was small but nice. The Bathroom is very nice. Room was clean and comfortable
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Looking forward to visiting again!
- Kyle (10/5): - Great hotel in a perfect location. Rooms are updated and the staff is super friendly. The only thing I wish is that it was dog friendly!
- AnneD (8/5): - Hotel was close to everything and nicely renovated and clean. Bathrooms were immaculate and it was nice to have a fridge and dishware. Bed was a little soft for my liking. Check in and out was safe and and easy. Easy free parking. I would stay here again.
- Paul (10/5): ice weekend in Yarmouth - Spotless rooms. Beds could be more comfortable but otherwise a very nice stay.
- Jacob (10/5): - Since my last stay here the rooms have been very nicely renovated. My room was spotless, probably the cleanest room I have ever stayed in, and the front desk check-in was also a very clean process as well. The staff are taking cleanliness extremely seriously, and it shows and is very appreciated.
- Demetri (10/5): - Loved this place - stayed multiple times.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We requested a second floor and was unable to get one. In the past we have always gotten the second floor. The room was satisfying and clean. So other than not getting a second floor it was okay
- Kay (8/5): - The people were very nice. The grounds were clean there was a play area for the kids
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice place, close to a lot of great amenities and restaurants.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Everything was great except for the mattresses. Very saggy.
- Diane (10/5): - Location, location! No internet
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Stayed two nights. Room was cleaned after the first night.
- WL_and_DM (6/5): - The place was generally nice. The grounds well kept. We had a good check-in experience. Our room was really nice. Lots of amenities, Very clean and well maintained HOWEVER it had a really bad mildew smell. We didn't know where it was coming from but then we saw that the basement was being vented out with a fan. The same awful odor was coming from it. It was really hard to sleep with that smell and all our clothes were permeated with it. We stayed only a couple of days and that was enough. I can't imagine if we had to stay any longer. It seemed unhealthy to breath that air.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room was small with alot of furniture but clean and well maintained property. People at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, clean room and spacious with two full
Bathrooms.
- M Lois (10/5): Definitely coming back! - We were here only one night but left promising ourselves at least a four day weekend next time!
- Thomas (8/5): Good location - Clean property. Good value. - Very good location and clean room and property. No WIFI and cell service is not great in the area, and it has an indoor pool only. Even in 100 degree heat, A/C worked great although room had a musty smell which we took care of with some Fabreeze spray.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean. Easy check in. Nice people. Central to everything we need
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Upon my stay, I learned this is a timeshare property and the rooms for renting are on the (noisy) street side. The staff is friendly and room is clean however small.
- NC (6/5): - Property is fine and I would not hesitate to recommend it. We had a 1 bedroom condo with kitchen area and 2 bathrooms and 2 TVs. It was very clean and adequate for 2 adults and 3 kids but small if a family needed to stay longer than a few days. Pullout couch was comfortable. AC was good. Only negatives were road noise since bedroom is facing RT 28 and the fact that they didn’t have us listed when I went to check in. I had a few moments where I was concerned that we wouldn’t be able to get a room but turned out that wasn’t an issue. I had read that someone else had the same problem so not sure about their system. I would call ahead.
- bryan (8/5): - This is a really nice place, but if you want to be at the beach this isn't the best choice. To be fair I booked on short notice and on a budget. You are less than 5 minutes drive to the beach, so if beachfront views are a priority this isn't it. The hotel and rooms are exceptionally clean and updated, the staff are friendly and personable, and there are countless excellent restaurants less than 2 miles either direction. The hotel is right next to the road though, and it can be noisy.
- Rony (6/5): - Location was great...lots of restaurants and things to do places are there. However the quality of bed and linens were not good. Floor Carpets were not in great shape.
- Thomas (8/5): Great Weekend - Very Clean and exactly as described.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The price was great ($125 a night offseason). We stayed in a “condo” which is really two motel rooms made into a suite. So we had a bedroom with two queen beds and a living room with a pull out couch, and two full bathrooms which worked great for me and my two adult children traveling together. There was a good size refrigerator, toaster, small microwave, and coffee maker and lots of dishes and silverware. I wouldn’t really call it updated but it was quite satisfactory. The only thing that was really wonky was the door knob and lock which wasn’t very substantial. I would to have preferred a deadbolt. I would stay there again.
- Karen (8/5): - Was central to a lot of activities. Property could use some updating. Place was clean and spacious.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Kicked out??! - Condo was very nice, clean, comfortable. There was a problem with the front desk claiming we only reserved for 1 nite, not 2. Had to call Hotels.com to clarify. Front desk callef their property manager who worked it out so we could stay in the same room. Not fun being told you have to get out because someone else is coming in! Othe than that the weekend was great
- Malinda (10/5): - Lovely stay. Easy check in with super friendly hostess. The bed and pillows comfortable. Loved there were two nice chairs and a sofa for relaxing. Nice area for children and 4 nice outdoor grills and picnic tables. Only complaint would be the lighting in the kitchen. Unless you are sitting at the table it's very dark. The shelf that holds the microwave is positioned such that I hit my head on it three times trying to use the kitchen sink. If you are trying to visit the entire Cape it's the perfect location being about half way from everything. There is a nice restaurant behind the hotel (which was closed for the season while we were there, late october) and a nice pub across the street that has the best hamburgers and pizza, pool tables, sports TV's and a very friendly staff. When booking your room my only advice would be make sure you ask for a parking lot room. The other rooms face a busy street and would be noisy, in my opinion. Also note, there is not a elevator to the second floor. Luckily we got a first room floor. Be specific when booking ! Also they do not offer continental breakfast but there are plenty of places nearby. Try the Pancake Man or the Piccadilly Cafe which are just a couple minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property is exceptional in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and location. Just be forewarned- the property abuts the road and traffic is very loud while trying to sleep in the bedroom area. Additionally, the wifi constantly cut out since the signal does not work well in the condos....even with my room being right next to the main office! However, the staff were friendly and maintain the property well.
- Karin (8/5): - This is our second time staying there. We love the location and the price. We love the 2 bathrooms (2 teenage girls) but they are very small rooms with no place to hang or put your shower needs.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room had a lot of furniture so made it seem small. Some coffee and tea condiments would be nice.
- Barbara (6/5): - The room was outdated, but the real problems were the musty smell that pervaded the room and the paper thin doors/walls between units. On a Saturday morning at 6:45 I was awakened by a voice which seemed like it was in out unit, but turned out to be the next unit. If you don't mind alot of noise this place is okay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The condo was nice and spacious for my family of 3, but amenities were limited, as this is more of a timeshare property versus hotel. Also, it has antiquated AC units which blew humidity into the room rather than central heat and air, so we found it difficult to get the temperature just right. Units were clean at check in, but daily cleaning service is not offered. Also, the front desk operates without use of a computer, so it was difficult booking through Expedia, as they had no record of my reservation.
- Timothy (6/5): OK hotel, Good Location - Room was spacious but very outdated. WiFi was terrible and cable only worked in one of the rooms. Very close to beach and many restaurants and attractions
- Lisa W. (8/5): Nice location & friendly, helpful staff! - Well kept inside & out. Nice location, short drive to beaches, clean & quiet! Found the staff to be friendly and helpful!
My only issue was the bed was a bit hard and I wish I had brought my own pillow.
I highly recommend the little pizza place next door and Jerry's Seafood (nothing fancy but the food was excellant and the price was great!!). Just a little ways down on 28!
I'd definitely stay there again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Simple and Clean - This was a nice stay. Clean room. We didn't use the pool or other facilities so we're unable to comment on those. Very close to several beaches. Seemed a bit overpriced for what the room offered.
- Kells (8/5): - The owners were very nice and accommodating. I loved the room, especially that there were two bathrooms and it was spacious. I was very comfortable. My kids loved the pool and the jacuzzi was great. The hotel was in a great location, close to many restaurants, beaches, stores and fun activities. The only bad thing was housekeeping did not make the bed or clean thoroughly the whole 3 nights we were there which made me question how well they cleaned before we got there. I would return but would suggest they hire new housekeepers.
- Penelope Smith M. (10/5): Awesome location, comfort, value! - Wonderful property, clean and comfortable. The only negative was that the bathroom FAN was loud and it turned on WITH the bathroom light switch. Getting up at night to use the bathroom would wake everyone when the light turned on, because of the loud bathroom fan. If this can't be changed I'd suggest adding a NIGHT light to the bathroom, so that the overhead light doesn't need to be turned on during sleeping hours.
- Chris (10/5): - Loud neighbor issue quickly resolved by management.
Strongly recommend as a place to stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Old property on a busy highway, so noisy at night. Room is a good size but all bedding and furnishings are really outdated.
- Dianna (10/5): - It was a quick one day stay Sunday before Memorial Day. Front desk was polite and helpful; directed us to amazing clam chowder. Room was very clean and well stocked. Indoor heated pool, hot tub and sauna was fantastic; grey chill rainy day and it was warm and clean and great to relax. Only complaint, and really not one at all, was the room has an adjoining door to another room and the kids were a little noisy but did not dampen our stay. Would definitely stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very comfortable and clean. - Greeted immediately by a friendly and welcoming individual. Very convenient to where we needed to be for the weekend. Very clean, building and grounds well maintained. The room was small but comfortable and very clean. To me that makes me the most comfortable when I can relax because I know how clean they have kept it even with all the various different people staying at this location. Thank you!
- Alison (6/5): April School Vacation Stay - The room was great and clean. There was an issue with the hot water though and my shower got cold very quickly. The outside is not ideal as most of it is pavement in the back. Staff is friendly. You do have to walk outside to get to the pool so on a cold or rainy day you need to dress for the short walk.
- Tommy (10/5): First Time in Yarmouth MA. - The place was very nice, clean and ready for us when we arrived. Don at the front desk was really nice and helpful through our our stay.
- Jennifer (10/5): Perfect for Familes - A great place for large families. We had a room with a nice pond view. Very close to the beach. My husband and I went in the morning and enjoyed the atlantic sunrise. I recommend staying here.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Size of room - I though we were going to get 2 queen size bed , we aren’t small people bed was way too small and couch was way too small. No hot water
- Rebecca (10/5): Great place - Great clean room with everything you need. Very close to great restaurants within walking distance.
- Verified traveler (8/5): average experience - Hotel staff pleasant and very accommodating. Room clean but on street side and was noisy. Door under stairs and no where to sit outside room. Bathroom sink faucet was broken and when staff notified we were offered another room which we accepted.
- SixByTheSea (8/5): Clean, Spacious and Well Appointed - We had a one bedroom condo, which comfortably accommodated my family of six. The room featured coastal decor and had a small fridge/freezer and kitchenette. There were also two bathrooms, both with tubs, which was great for the kids.
Given the low price point and excellent location, it was a good value.
- Tracey (8/5): Surprisingly Nice - Loved the condo layout-wish I would have known about this when my child was little and the rest of the family did not want to retire at 8:30 PM!
Pretty nice--but we did manage to lock ourselves out of the room and set off a smoke alarm when switching the air conditioner over to heat function!
- WENDY (6/5): - The room is very very very small and crowded with furniture!!!! I can't imagine staying here with 4 people even though that's what it sleeps. The kitchen area is ridiculous. There is no place to put luggage.
The internet service is spotty so if you have to rely on that for any reason, take that into consideration. They know about the problem and don't seem to be addressing it.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The Hotel facilities are old and not well maintained and as a result, it was not comfortable to stay in the rooms.
- Deanna (8/5): Great location. Clean and convenient. - Second stay at Pier 7. It's a super convenient location central to so much in SouthYarmouth. very clean. Nice size flat screen tvs in the rooms with DVD movies for one dollar at the front desk. Streetside rooms do have traffic noise but it quiets down at night. No outdoor pool but with several beaches starting about a mile away it doesn't matter. Beach passes available so you don't have to pay for parking. We liked seagull beach. Super close: homemade ice cream, fudge , taffy, mini golf, seafood restaurants and so much more. Friendly staff. Recommend summer shantyi Dennis, seafood sams in Yarmouth and pancake man for breakfast. Came. Ack totally relaxed.
- jen (10/5): Beautiful hotel near to water - Pier 7 is a great hotel with friendly staff. Pool/hot tub were wonderful, rooms were well put together, cozy and clean. Landscaping and view are very nice as well. Great location with resteraunt/bars, fishing area, mini golf, stores, docks, pond and river all walking distance fr hotel.
- Connie (8/5): First visit to Cape Cod - The office stand was very helpful and friendly. The room was very tiny but clean and suited our needs. The location is great!
- Dave (10/5): Nice place on Cape Cod - The hotel was in a nice location that was central to all of the important destinations. A nice, large suite that easily fit our family of five. The price was very reasonable compared to many other similar places.
- Jordan (8/5): Good value, good location, clean - Bathroom a bit small, hard to open door while in the bathroom. And the light switch is outside the bathroom. Our room, ( and half of hotel) faces the road so traffic woke us up, and the bed was a bit stiff. We occasionally woke up to turn over because of that. But otherwise it's very clean, maintained, pool and hot tub were awesome. Full sized fridge and sink came in very handy. Good parking. Several bars and seafood restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Great fishing spot across the street. And a price that's hard to beat for the area. I'd come back again.
- Ken (8/5): Spacious - They took 2 motel rooms and made it 1 spacious rental. Makes it nice for families with children. No elevator to get to 2nd floor.
- Richard (4/5): Average at best - My initial complaint is with Hotels.com direct. I book this at $129 a night back in April. We were in room 118B Friends were staying and they ended up getting a rate of $109 for the same exact room 117B
I appealed the rate to hotels.com on three separate occasions showing proof w/photographs and they rejected each appeal for a credit. I am not happy with Hotels.com regarding this.
As far as the accommodations were concerned, I appeal to the front desk regarding rate issue and they claim there was nothing they could do about it.
The room was musty and had a poor smell to it. When I checked and I was told that there were no other rooms. Two were not in habitable because of the prior guests who are fisherman who apparently made the room smell like fish. My room could've been one of them for all I know.
The location was excellent. And there are many good restaurants and things to do in that area. The accommodations themselves need some improvement however. The daily service consisted of changing towels only. They did not clean the toilet or the tub or bother to make the bed.
By the end of the week between the musty smell in the dirtiness of the room, we left one day early.
That being said we did have a studio with the door faced the road. The road is very busy and there was quite a bit of road noise. My friends I've ever had a one bedroom suite which went all the way through and that was a very good room. We ended up hanging out there most of the week.
- Karen (8/5): Very large unit. - We have stayed here before. The unit is large and very well equipped. It is centrally located but close to the road. There is road noise but if you have the air conditioning on it isn't bad. We would stay here again.
- Richard (8/5): Nice for a quick overnight trip - Nice, clean and comfortable. Good location on Rt. 28, close to everything. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Only drawback was road noise.
- Shasta (8/5): Spacious - Very clean, very comfortable...the only problem I had was the doors sticking and that they didn't seem very secure.
- Debra (4/5): - Older building room smelled strong of carpet fresh
