Alles war sauber und die Lage war sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war recht gut. Absolute Empfehlung für eine Übernachtung, zumal das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis sehr gut war Leider hatte das schöne Restaurant geschlossen.

- Shawn (1/5): Bring ear plugs - I have had a better nights sleep in my car at a highway rest stop. The hotel and the room is beautiful. I especially loved the exposed rafter ceiling in the room. That is until it was time to go to sleep and we could hear literally every noise the room upstairs was making. This was not a slight noise but was as though these people were sitting in the room with us. My family and I recounted their conversation the next morning in the car. Between the marathon conversation our upstairs neighbors were having and the regularly scheduled train horn blasts all night there was not much sleep had. The hotel is really nice and the only option in the semi abandoned downtown. With some insulation between the rooms and a bribe to who ever runs those trains it would be a very nice place to stay.

The price was so affordable . Would have liked to have dining and a bar. After traveling 10 hours not to have to leave to eat a meal would have been ideal.

We only stayed one night while traveling through the area. Train sound didn't bother us at all but we always sleep with the TV on. May bother you if a light sleeper. I was trying to do a little work and it was a little difficult but I would come back anytime to stay at that hotel. The room was a little dark. I understand the construction of the building being a renovated warehouse makes it difficult to really like to place up, but again as I said, I would stay there gladly and I enjoyed my stay.

There is a beautifully outfitted outdoor area with gas fire pits and each floor had a large commons room that had 2 tv's and a full sized refrigerator with lots of seating options. The breakfast bar had several hot and cold options and we just loved the exposed brick, high ceilings and wooden floors. This is a hidden gem that we will definitely return to! It is right across the street from the train tracks and you could hear the train whistles throughout the night, so take earplugs or a sound machine if you are a light sleeper. A charming town with lots of potential and only 2 blocks from the train station where we got on Dora Trail which connects to the New River Trail. Perfect! We were able to take our eBikes on the elevator and store them in our rooms overnight. Highly recommend!

Also, the staff were attentive, helpful and pleasant. The included breakfast was very good with lots of options. I hope this hotel flourishes, it’s truly a gem of an experience.
- Rodney (6/5): Bring ear plugs - The room was great—full of charm, very clean, and comfortable. Check-in was quick and easy. However, the walls are extremely thin. We could clearly hear the people in the next room talking until 3 a.m., which made it hard to sleep. You can also hear water flushing, and on top of that, trains passing through town honk their horns during the night. If you’re a light sleeper like I am, it can be challenging to get rest here. As for dining, there are very limited options in town—maybe one or two places—so plan to eat before you arrive. Overall, it’s a cute place with a lot of charm, but I would recommend bringing earplugs and being prepared for the limited food choices.

Exposed brick room walls and spacious rooms. However, sound insulation not good. Can easily hear other guests voices and tv’s. Rooms could use a little more bright lighting and a full length dressing mirror. Bed are extremely comfortable and amenity’s adequate. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only real issue being the hotel is close to railroad tracks and train passes 2-3 times at night, whistle blowing thought town. If back in area would definitely consider a return stay

- Allison (10/5): - This hotel is a beautifully restored historic building that was formerly a factory and or warehouse. It has the convenience of free parking, wifi and breakfast included with each stay. Rooms have nice views, refrigerators, comfortable beds and nice fixtures. As a true factory town, this hotel has an active railway line running by it, so it has moments that are not quiet. The town is at a point where it is working hard to recover from a number of setbacks and I hope that it continues to rebuild.
- Rob (10/5): It is a unique hotel.Rebecca and Sean at the front desk are the best - A very traditional style hotel that was converted from an old warehouse. Love the open beams and brick. The occasional train that passes by,😁

- Beverly (10/5): Nice overnight stay! - The room wasvery large,especially the bathroom area with two separate sinks which made it convenient for both of us. The room is unique with exposed beams and bare bricks which we liked the looks of.

- Nicholas (10/5): - Stopped by this place on a recent road trip for an over night stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The place is gorgeous and the town is charming. Well worth the slight detour from the highway to enjoy your night. Make sure you make dinner arrangements elsewhere seeing as there are no dining options in the area. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. What a hidden gem
- Elizabeth (10/5): A fun place to go out of your way to stay at. The character of each room is so beautiful! - I was so in awe of the original beams from the previous factories which were in this building. The exposed brick give it such warmth along with the wood. I didn't want to leave my room. They have additional longue space on each floor as well as sitting areas my the elevators. We were just driving through but would stay here again and again. Double vanities in our room was a fun addition too. Our shower was just a basic tub shower combo... nothing fancy but still gets you clean! The include a breakfast which is just your basic continental... nothing very special. However the room you eat in continues the beautiful themed of wood and brick.
