We had the King suite and it was so roomy . Loved the decor. Will stay again ❤️ Parking was $42 dollars however , there is a garage close and it was only 16 dollars.

- J7833ZRjulianm (10/5): Valentine’s Weekend Trip - We stayed for Valentine’s weekend and had a great time staying here. Emma at the front desk, Randi at breakfast service (she is so warm and funny), and Alan at the bar - they all provided EXCELLENT and super friendly service the entire weekend. The building is historic and you feel that. The lobby of the building could feel more warm or festive, but the hotel lobby on the 25th floor is comfortable and modern. Location was great, but outside feels a bit gritty. Parking is off site but the price is not terrible for downtown. The room we stayed in faced the river (off in the distance), plenty of space, and very very quiet. The only bad thing that happened was someone’s dog peed (a lot) in front of the elevators. I called the front desk at 10pm and told them about it. When I went to breakfast the next morning, the entire hall smelled like urine. I told Emma at the front desk, and it was mopped up within 15 minutes.
- ELCW11 (4/5): Not the best - This was not the greatest experience. The staff are friendly but that’s where it ends. The rooms are very dated and it felt like everything was broken. The bathroom taps were broken. The shower door did not line up with the frame so water flooded the floor. About 1/3 of the lights were burnt out. Housekeeping services were poor. It was unreliable. Some days it was in the morning, some days it was early evening and some days they did not show up at all. Food was mediocre and I found a hair in my food. I was advised that the area is safe, but there definitely is a homeless population in the neighborhood, so some guests may not be comfortable with that. The staff at the front desk and restaurants are incredibly friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast is good with the omelette station. I would recommend looking at other hotels in Pittsburgh.

Ended up driving in the bus lane. Had a cop talk to me of course told him I was from out of town trying to get to the embassy and he told me he’d allow it this time. - alyssawP5599HM (2/5): Roach in room - I recently stayed at this hotel for a conference that was being held there and I just have to share my experience. There was a huge roach in my room. I had just unpacked and sat down and that’s when I saw it. Although they did give me a new room right away, I felt stressed and panicked my stay there now feeling like the hotel wasn’t clean. They did give me $100 off but I still feel like it should have been more. I kept going back and forth with them over the 3 days. I felt my experience de here should have been fully compensated as I do have a slight OCD and still think about that roach. I had a nightmare last night that I stepped on roaches in a hotel room with my bare feet. Just felt so gross the whole time I was there.

Cleaning staff was on their phone not paying attention to what floor they got off of, people waiting for an elevator, trash bags left on an elevator. Popcorn all over the floor for hours in the main lobby area. The traffic flow for breakfast was awful! Weird lines with everyone in the way and no directionality. The dining area for breakfast needs to be completely reconfigured.

Service was not readily available First room was smelling of smoke,l, it had only one bed the booking was for two beds. we requested to get a nonsmoking room. With two beds they did not have any. We were them to a small farmer room too cold even with the air lowered. The bed that was brought in had dirty bedding on it. Very disappointing experience!

- Departure23062748779 (6/5): Best Hotel Bar - Arrived NYE and the front desk person just looked annoyed and was rude. New Year's Day no service to the room but I didn't think anything of it because we arrived so late in the evening, it didn't make sense for anyone to come empty the garbage (I'd be cool with a trash drop area, that's designated for the hotel guest to take out trash) Next day nothing. Mind you we made requests and have factored in on our travel time. End of holiday season. Everyone is tired and it's been a long year. So maybe someone was hungover called in, etc. What bummed me out was the front desks attitude towards me, when I started off saying hi with a genuine smile. Different person than NYE I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the front desk person that had a fun food conversation with me when I asked about Ollie's (the restaurant/bar) gastropub if you're fancy. The guy with the beard and glasses. He doesn't Ike fish. His recommendations were spot on, and it was like if you're talking to someone you know. He's 5 stars & FFS either pay your employees their worth, or lower your prices for customers. The whole place is surrounded in QR codes about how or where to tip employees. Hilton: you're paying food service etc employees the state's minimum wages just because it's legal and you can. At the end of the day, I think it's reflective of how crappy their employers are. This is a top management then down issue. Top management being the owners. Ollie's was cool and the bartenders were great. Do better rich people
- wmeiser (2/5): Bait and Switch - Before I booked the room months ago, my asked if I could shorten the days as I was unsure the exact dates would be. The front desk responded that won’t be a problem. I asked would it change the room rates again responded it wouldn’t be an issue if you call before the cancellation dates. I called today as the room reservation is for Friday. I called and said they can’t modify my reservation of the 2 less days would cost me more money. Ridiculous!

- April (10/5): My family had a good time staying in Pittsburgh and loved that we could walk to any location. - The location was great...Loved that there was so much space in the room. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good along with happy hour. It was hard to warm up the room...the vents seemed too small to accommodate the size.
- Eric (7/5): Great location in an awesome city to visit! - Location was excellent for navigating transportation around Downtown and to and from the sporting events we were in town for. The facilities seemed outdated and overly used. The towels and sheets had stains and need to be replaced with newer sheets. I would upgrade it to match the price we paid per night.

- Astrid (10/5): Excellent - Breakfast was great. The Chef and staff for the kitchen are always sweet, warm, and helpful. They have great humor too. The night staff at the desk was understanding due to my extremely late arrival. They hunted down quarters for me to wash a load of clothes and were kind and warm. I love this hotel. The location is great for our many trips to Point Park University. I got there hours late and didn’t get to sleep long enough in my comfortable bed. I always have a great experience!

- Love2Travel286 (6/5): Not the Best - My husband and I travelled to Pittsburg from Nova Scotia to see a Pens game. Upon arrive , valet was friendly and quick to take our car to the parkade. We made our way up to the lobby on the 25th floor, hotel is located in a very impressive historic property, I believe I read dating back to 1910. Upon reaching the lobby and check in desk, neither of the 2 employees were what I would consider friendly, the young lady checking us in barely spoke. My husband had to ask if there was a room upgrade, as diamond members this is always something offered on availability without even having to ask. We booked a one bedroom two room suite and we were “upgraded” to a corner one bedroom two room suite, Room was lovely and clean, that’s what matters most to us. We attended the hockey game and after travelling all day and spending the evening at the rink we settled in for the night. I woke in the middle of the night, between 3-3:30am to an intoxicated individual trying his hardest to enter our room, it made me very nervous when he was relentless, even after I shouted out to him that he had the wrong room, he still kept jigging the handle, trying his key card and even kicking the door. I picked up the phone and dialled zero because at this point, I had no idea what his intentions were, the gentleman I spoke to assured me he’d be there in a second, and to his credit, he was there rather quickly. However we woke again at 7am to shouting and arguing in the room next door between a man and woman, I’m going to assume that is where our unwanted guest from the night prior was staying , at this point we just got up showered and checked out. It was a horrible nights sleep. On top of this it wasn’t until I was checking later after we stopped for breakfast, I realized the hotel offered breakfast ( which would have been complimentary to diamond members) there was no mention of this on check in, no water in our room, also no mention of an evening reception offered at the hotel lobby bar, or in fact any mention of any of the hotel’s amenities. Hotel is located in a great area handy to PPG Paints Arena and many great restaurants, our stay would have been much more impressive and enjoyable had the guest check in staff, taken the time to inform us of what was offered to us by the hotel, she could have done so much better to help improve our stay, instead we felt like she was rushing us to our room and we were keeping her from something.

- kristan (5/5): - Location was great, staff was friendly. The fire alarm was set off in the morning hours and went on for close to 20 minutes. Valet was so backed up we waited nearly an hour for our vehicle upon checkout.

The evening complimentary snacks were not fresh. Overpriced, especially the valet parking for guests. Rooms were poorly maintained - broken blinds, previous guests rubbish on floor. Sofa was uncomfortable.

- Jerold (5/5): No worth it. - Location Didn't have clean bedding for pull out bed. Took a hour to get clean bedding after called front desk. Service staff were talking about how they are all sick while my family are eating. Had to wait for 20 mins for Valet two different times. Paid additional $40 for vallet $500 dollar room.

- Scott (8/5): - The staff member (thirtieth yr old man w beard) did the work of several by calmly running the reception desk while dozens and dozens of Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers fans waited for hours for rooms. Bravo young man!

- chandra_obrien (6/5): You need better staff cleaning the rooms! If you’re busy more staff need to be cleaning! - Our room was nice, and the facility and hotel amenities were wonderful. However, the cleanliness of the room and the staff who clean the rooms suck. As a rule when we travel, I don’t have the staff clean our room every day. So when I did want them to clean, halfway through our trip, I wanted a decent job done. All they did was empty the trash and give us toilet paper and new towels. No vacuum/counters cleaned/etc. And, we waited all day long and the room still wasn’t clean. We couldn’t return to our room until after 5:30 pm because of the cleaners still in the room! If your facilities is busy, because of a convention or a tarkwondo tournament—Then you need to get more staff working that weekend! The poor quality of the cleanliness is horrible. And not what I pay high prices for.

- Keith (4/5): - Roomy. The carpet in the room is dirty, window shade are broken and broken parts were stored in the room. Sofa bed was broken. Window glass was dirty. No parking.

- Sherika (9/5): - The suite room was spacious and comfortable during my stay. The breakfast selection was very good. The location was perfect, close to my intended location. A rental car is not needed. Everything in walking distance. However, there was not dinner provided at night. Only ordering through from the bar which was mediocre, basically bar food. If you want a decent meal for dinner, order out or go to surrounding restaurants. The valet parking is expensive, $45 every day and other excessive fees will add up. Ended up paying $1000 for a $450 stay. Horrible.
