- Patricia (10/5): - Posting stated on property parking available which was not true. It was safe around to leave car in front of theproperty.
- Adrian (10/5): - Rented 2 rooms to accommodate all my 5 children. Rooms super spacious and clean. Location was very convenient to walk to the plaza, church and shopping center. Lots of food vendors near by. Front desk lady was polite and helpful with answering local questions. Example where was the nearest hairdresser, laudrymat ect. Would definitely stay again.
- Carlos (10/5): - Hotel sencillo pero cómodo y conveniente!
- Ron (7/5): Good -
- Mark (10/5): - Freindly staff. Clean with character.
- Elvia (10/5): - Araceli the desk employee was very nice, accommodating and always walked around with a small. The two evening gentlemen were also very pleasant in the evening.
- Connie (10/5): I enjoyed to be there is a really nice place to stay - clan place peacefully and nice stuff good location nothing to say about it
- Manuel (4/5): - Really close to downtown and friendly staff. I was expecting basic, but they put us in a room facing the street and told me it was quiet when I asked if it was going to be noisy, and it was REALLY noisy! Wifi didn't work. Bathroom wasn't clean properly and shower only had cold water (even after I waited for a few minutes like they suggested). There were bugs crawling in the bed (hopefully ants.) The town is beautiful and staff was nice and welcoming, but at that price there are a few other (probably better) options to stay at that I didn't see listed on Expedia.
- OSCAR ALEJANDRO (10/5): Recomendable - Es muy bonito. Impecable.
- Thomas_Jerome (8/5): Nice Hotel, Decent Price...But... - for Ehécatl's sake, please TRAIN your younger employees to be cognizant of the needs of hotel guests. This means, for instance, when someone enters your hotel after a 6-hour-long bus ride and is carrying four things including a suitcase, you help that person carry (at least) SOME of the things to his room. This means, for instance, that when a guest wants to read a book in the courtyard, you do not Facetime your friends at the front desk for (literally) hours on end, thus disturbing that (PAYING) guest's concentration and equilibrium. Talk about solipsistic, narcissistic behavior, Jeezuz folkz! Get a clue! Room was nice. 3rd best mattress ever!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Typical Mexican Cason turned into hotel rooms. Everything very clean, but basic as far as extras. Then again, its a really small town, you can't expect city style comfort from hotels. Would stay here again, short walking distance to the plaza and restaurants. Rooms don't have sound proof so expect some noise!
- John (6/5): so-so - Very basic accommodation. No amenities in room, i.e. no coffee.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location was good! The Hotel is small and nice ,only the bathroom walls above the shower had mold thay needed to go away and also no hot water
- Yahve (10/5): - I like it because it is located within a walking distance from anything that you may need. What I did not like is that the business next door start making noise early in the morning.
- Ana Cristina (10/5): Lugar tranquilo!
- Patricia (8/5): 8 nice rooms around a pretty courtyard - Beautifully remodeled property in a pueblo mágico. 1:00 check-in printed, but the room was not ready for another hour. The young woman at the desk was unfriendly but I think it was likely shyness. She did provide an excellent recommendation for lunch nearby. There is neither food nor coffee at the inn so bring your own or be prepared to go out.
- John (8/5): little gem in Mascota. - Very clean old (colonial ) building. Close to centro.
- Lola (10/5): - Nice area close to plaza, clean patio nice court yard with the waterfall. Attendant always on site feel safe having staff around.
- Sylvia (6/5): - Nice hotel near town center. Employees at reception never acknowledged us (good morning-evening-hows everything) our bed was VERY squeaky and not much water pressure out of shower. These are things that can be easily fixed and I’ll probably stay there again.
- Patricia (10/5): - Great location close to restaurants and centre of town.
- Verified traveler (8/5): charmer of a hotel - great hotel. we stayed there for a few days in march of 2018. only complaint we had was that the desk woman was a bit slow or reluctant to get off her duff and the computer and cell phone....She seemed to be unable to grasp the concept of how to change a lightbulb..or ensure we had daily water...i guess the TeleNovelas and Facebook was just too important..the .the owner was wonderful and very helpful..It is a very clean and charming hotel...
- James (10/5): Just right for Mascota - The perfect, if simple, place from which to visit Mascota. Excellent value for money. If I visit Mascota again, I will definitely stay at Posada Santa Rita.
- Jocelyn (6/5): Nice hotel terrible service - Terminal to charge our credit card was down and no one notified that we would have to pay in cash. We tried to resolve the issue with the receptionist and all she kept saying was she needed to get paid and was unable to help us. Un satisfied with the customer service provided.
- Margaret (8/5): Lovely designed hotel close to the central plaza. - Cannot believe this town with every local so friendly, helpful and welcoming, whether in the hotel, grocery store or restaurant, the people were wonderful. I wish we could stay longer.
- Stephen (10/5): Another great stay in Mascota - This was my third visit to Mascota, and my second stay at Posada Santa Rita. Having spent a total of 9 nights at the hotel, I can confidently recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the area. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean, with nice linens. Bathrooms are very nice as well, with plenty of hot water at all hours. Posada Santa Rita is well located just a couple of blocks from the central plaza and the town's bus terminal. The 24-hour staff is accommodating and friendly. In short, Posada Santa Rita is the pla e to stay for comfort, convenience and value in Mascota!
- Peter (10/5): Old world charm at an affordable price - Very comfortable and reasonable....very spacious w. King size bed for one person.
- Steve (10/5): Utmost pleasure - I was given a warm welcome by the staff when I arrived. I was offered maps and information along with recommendations. The highlight of my stay...my bed! I have traveled the world in 5 star hotels...I have to say my bed was THE most comfortable experience ever!!!! My bed was clean, warm and so comfortable....I would come back just to indulge in such a warm comfortable bed again. The location of the hotel was perfect for the Raicilla Festival I came for...I can't imagine how such a fine hotel can survive on only 8 rooms at the price level they have....I hope to come back soon. Thank you all for the smiles and warm visit you gave me
- Todd (10/5): Great hotel/location. - Great location, clean, big rooms and great staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Santa Rita - Is affordable and friendly and the best thing is your pets are welcome! Wonderful quiet stay in beautiful Mascota.
- chrisa362 (8/5): Cozy place at heart of town - I liked the Posada Santa Rita. Staff was welcoming and friendly and allowed me to store bags after checkout. The hotel has a lovely courtyard and is blocks from the center of town. It sits on a small plaza with a taco truck outside. There is also a small market across the street.
- Stephen (10/5): A Super Value Without Compromising Comfort - Posada Santa Rita is a lovely, newer hotel within a short walk of everything there is to do in Mascota. WiFi is great, and the shower spacious and warm. Beds are comfortable and the linens much better than many similarly-priced hotels in Mexico. During our visit there were road repairs being done in front of the hotel, so daytime noise was sometimes an issue, but that is a temporary problem. A room away from the street might be a good idea. The hotel staff was helpful when needed, and as welcoming as the lovely residents of Mascota.
- Tibuix55 (8/5): Very nice please, but... - It needs more attention from managers. Some of the persons working there are not very good doing their job. Some problems with dirty and debris in room and on the premises. Any way, it is a nice place to stay, though kind of expensive.
- Tibuix55 (6/5): Quiet, small but needs care - This is a small (only 8 rooms),quiet, and nice place. It is close to most urban services around. No phone in rooms. However, it needs to have more clean rooms and change bed clothes more frequently. Also, do not use bokking.com do contact them directly. You will have better price and service.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful hotel, beautiful people! - Hello English speakers! This nice little hotel set in lovely Mascota is very nice. Although not many people in town speak English, the great women at the front desk are kind and patient and willing to try to help you. Room was nice and big and quiet. Mascota is a wonderful town with so many friendly people! You have to ask for hot water for your shower, but it only takes 15 to heat up, so its not a big deal...saves money & resources to not have to keep the water constantly heated - good for them for conserving! Loved it, will be back soon!
