• 687elkak (10/5): Great pool and wonderful staff - This was my second stay and this hotel is fantastic. The staff is very nice and efficient. They clean the breakfast area throughout the morning hours and maintain the pool and the hotel constantly. Zach at the front desk is very helpful and knowledgeable. The room is modern and updated, the bed is very comfortable and the breakfast is very generous. The pool and hot tub are spotless and very well maintained. The hotel, lobby, breakfast area and rooms are all immaculate. The breakfast has longer hours than most hotels 6 - 10:30 am and the pool is open 6 am to midnight. A very nice hotel.

The hotel is located conveniently only a couple miles away from the downtown area, and it was very quiet. The bed was too firm so I didn’t get the best night’s rest, but that’s an individual preference so I can’t hold it against the hotel.

• Kristin (10/5): - This is a very pleasant, clean little hotel with nice, spacious rooms. The bed was quite firm, but still comfortable, and I loved that you could actually open the window and get fresh air in the room. (Rare these days!) I also really appreciated the gluten-free and dairy-free breakfast options. The front desk staff at this Country Inn was exceptional -- friendly and so helpful -- and the housekeeping staff as well. My only two suggestions to this otherwise very nice hotel: please get rid of the low-flow and give your guests decent water pressure in the shower. That shower was pathetic. And PLEASE offer a better, stronger brand of coffee. Yuck!

• bocam2020 (8/5): Nice, Solid, Good Hotel - Every few years traveling through the area I stay here. It's a solid, good hotel; hotel staff always friendly and outgoing. Breakfast has good service hours and is a good buffet. (one of these days I'll make the waffles) My only disappointment is that there are no usable handrails to climb the stairs to the second floor AND there's no elevator. Usable handrails are totally missing on the first-floor area of the stairs and the very WIDE deco faux "handrail" is W A Y too wide for any human hand to actually use to steady oneself and actually climb the stairs. There is, I think, a real handrail on only one side of the stair case wall after the mid-point of the stairs, as you turn up to the second level. I don't feel this stair case is compliant with applicable ADA laws. AND, there should be usable handrails on both sides of the stair case walls not just on one side of the wall. There are also no safety grab bars in the showers I've used here over the years; this is a safety issue for someone in their upper 70's.

He let me know there was no elevator and asked if I had problem using the stairs -- I dialso. My room was very clean and well stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was just ok. I've been at many other Country Inns that have cheese and salsa for the eggs, potatoes, cream cheese for the bagels.... Check out was very fast slso.

She was helpful and made you feel welcome. Property was very clean. Appreciated the microwave and small frig that actually had a little freezer. Breakfast could use a few additions, like toppings for waffles. Coffee was quite weak.

We tried the breakfast the first morning, and didn't have it again for the rest of our stay. I feel like we paid for the opportunity to enjoy a good breakfast as part of the cost of our stay. Instead, we had to go elsewhere and pay for a good breakfast.

We had a great time in the pool - the hours are 6 to midnight which was greatly appreciated after our long drive. The breakfast was quick and easy. Room was 8/10 for cleanliness and the beds, pillows and temperature were all very comfortable. Would stay again.

• Andrea (5/5): Passable - I like the room size…lots of space. Initially I liked that there was an oversized chair for additional seating. The chair mentioned above had not had upholstery cleaned, like ever. There crusty globs of something on the chair arms and the seat cushion. (Grosss) The pull out bed left my 7 year old with a sore back. I literally felt like all it had for a mattress was a slim piece of foam and we could feel even the metals bars on the sides of the bed through the mattress. King size bed was a bit wore out and too hard for us, but that could be a prefers e too.
• Randy (10/5): Nice hotel, but get some bodywash too!! - We stayed here for Easter weekend and it was a nice stay. The hotel was very clean. The check-in front desk person was very friendly. The room was very nice, and breakfast was was fresh and kept clean which is so appreciated. If I could say anything negative it would be that you seriously need to upgrade your tv’s. They are very much outdated. Also, I appreciate the shampoo, conditioner, and even the body lotion you have in actual dispensers on the wall in the bathroom. Why don’t you have body wash that is in a dispenser? It was very annoying having to go back out and go to the store to get body wash. The tiny bars of soap just isn’t going to cut it, not to mention it felt very dry and doesn’t lather. Please consider looking to this because your future guests will appreciate it too. Otherwise, we were pleased with our stay and we would stay here again!

After voicing a noise concern created by other guests, we tried to get our room location changed. Unfortunately, the hotel was booked and the staff was unable to accommodate us. We asked if it was possible to get a refund. They said that they could do that for us, since there was no other room available to move us to. Since we booked through Expedia, we had to get our refund through them. The staff took the time, after sending our refund to Expedia after we left, to call us and explain what we needed to do to assure we would be refunded. Expedia would not give us a refund. We had to contact the hotel weeks after our stay, because the issue was still unresolved. Again, the manager went above and beyond to help make sure we got was was owed to us. I will never book with Expedia again. We will for sure book with this hotel directly when in the area again! Exceptional service!!

• Carol (10/5): - I enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the good breakfast. It was fairly quiet, but my room was on the back side of the building. It may be different on the front side. The staff is very friendly. I think there had been updates to the room. The hallway carpeting had a new smell to it. It was a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again.
