• Fanny (9/5): Fabulous stay in fabulous place - The castle is a wonderful place! We were warmly welcomed at our arrival. The hosts were always available without being too present. We reserved the gastronomic dinner, with paired wines, it was just fabulous, this man can cook! Breakfast was delicious, everything was placed on the table, and on top of that there was a small buffet with extra bread, juices, … In every room the heating was on, which made it very comfortable. Our room was spacious with nice decoration in Flamant style, very classy and cosy. This place is a gem!

• Julien (9/5): Beautiful Chateau full of character! - A truly wonderful chateau with beautiful rooms. The hosts were welcoming and courteous throughout our stay.
• Martine (8/5): Leuk verblijf op een toplocatie! - De locatie was prachtig! Statig, mooi gerestaureerd gebouw omgeven door een prachtige tuin. Perfecte locatie voor uitstapjes in de buurt. Vriendelijke uitbaters die je welkom doen voelen. De kamer was ruim met een zeer grote badkamer. Allemaal mooi ingericht in de stijl van het gebouw. We hadden geboekt voor het diner en dat was super lekker. Zeker een aanrader. Dit verblijf situeert zich in een hogere prijsklasse waardoor je toch je gasten een beetje meer in de watten mag leggen. We kregen bijvoorbeeld geen drankje bij aankomst (hoewel we lang onderweg waren geweest). Ook in de kamer was niets aanwezig van drank (geen mini-bar) of kleine snacks/fruit. Dat vonden we jammer. Het ontbijt was zeker OK, maar vrij basic alweer voor de prijsklasse. (croissants, pistolets, ham, kaas, confituur en eitjes) Geen extra's zoals fruit, dessertjes, speciale streekproducten,...). Kleine toevoegingen kunnen het verschil maken.

• Melline (9/5): Verblijf met vriendengroep tijdens fietsweekend in de Ardennen. - Heerlijk ontbijt en diner. Hele mooie kamers, mooie groene omgeving, vriendelijke eigenaren. De kamers zijn heel ruim. Wij hadden een kamer met twee tweepersoonsbedden. Niks.

Water or a coffeemachine/boiler for tea in the room is a must since the breakfast starts at 09h00. A honesty bar is a surplus, knowing that the restaurant is open for dinner only at friday and saturday. On the website was not mentioned that the restaurant is closed fm sunday till thursday!

• Greggory (10/5): Exceptional - Very special property, the very recent renovation was high quality and immaculate. Stefan the manager could not have been more hospitable, he gave us a ride into town for dinner and washed our clothes from a long day of bike packing.

The property is still very nice but there was a change of owner and we must stay that we didn’t feel as welcome as previously (very short checkin, no offer for drinks when on the terrasse in the evening). Breakfast was also not very special (the eggs were dry and not a lot of choice).

The chateau is a showcase for the Flamant decorating style and is full of beautiful details everywhere! And finally Sally and Chef Alain were always available to make our stay amazing.
