While it is a simple property, the staff members go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Their kindness and dedication are what made my stay special. What I loved: • The Team: The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive especially Shojol. They made me feel so welcome that I honestly didn't want to leave a critical review. • Thoughtful Breakfast: Every morning, I had to leave early for excursions. Even though the breakfast is simple (toast, fruit, an egg, and a sausage), they specially prepared it for me at a very early hour. For someone who doesn't have high demands, it was satisfying and more than enough to start the day. • Personal Touch: The hotel is located near the shopping area and is only a 5-minute walk to the center. While they don't have a golf cart for transfers, they specially sent a staff member to the pier to meet me. This was a lifesaver—carrying a heavy backpack under the hot sun for 5 minutes is tough, and having someone help me carry it was a gesture I truly appreciated. • Cleanliness: The room itself was very clean and well-maintained. Overall, if you are looking for a budget stay with a world-class heart, this is the place. Thank you to the whole team for taking such good care of me! A small note for improvement: After my first night, I noticed some itchy spots on my skin. I am not sure if it was an allergic reaction or something else, as the mattress looked very new and clean. When I mentioned this, the staff were extremely helpful—they immediately changed all the linens and deep-cleaned the room for me. They really tried their best to resolve the situation, which I truly appreciate.

• George (7/5): Could be better, could be worse - The room was nice and the staff were welcoming You could argue that the property is well located but Maafushi is already super small and there’s construction all around the hotel, plus there’s nothing really to the property (no facilities and no view whatsoever)

Overall, We really satisfied with their service. There is a machine near the guest room that makes noise when it operates late at night, which disturbs our sleep. We hope its position can be adjusted.

Je pensais qu’il avait une piscine disponible selon l’intitulé. Pas de télévision , ni de paroi de douche.Le petit déjeuner unique servi à table pas forcément qualitatif. Petit déjeuner bruyant car beaucoup de travaux à coté. La disposition fais qu’il y a énormément de mouches ce qui peut être rapidement désagréable lors d’un petit déjeuner. Mais l’équipe de l’hôtel est génial
• Steven (8/5): - Property itself was very satisfactory. TV did not work. The door to the room is full glass with a curtain so privacy not great. Ensuite fine. Air conditioning worked. Bed linen / towels worn out. The first room I was offered had no window except the fully glass door so I asked for an alternative. The property is surrounded by noisy building works. on the plus side the property is in close proximity to the beach and other hotels and restaurants.
• Molka (9/5): Cozy place - A good budget value for travelers to Maafushi who want to explore the island far away from the noise of the hotels. The atmosphere was cool being in a cheerful place surrounded by the local houses. The best part of it was the staff, very caring, helpful and made you feel at home. Mohamed is the kindest reception man you could meet, he would assist with anything at any time with a smile. The room is equipped with a knettle, mini bar,AC and a hair dryer. Bikini beach is just 10 min walk from the guesthouse. Comparing the price and facilities provided, nothing to complain about.

Cups, tea, coffee not provided no tv in our room as it was broken but the Wi-Fi was good enough to stream from. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast basic but edible. Let down by a failure of anyone to meet us at airport for the transfer as arranged. Instead we made our own way from Male using private ferry and then walked.

Our room had a missing TV which wasn’t a big deal as the internet was good enough to stream. Beds comfortable. Rooms with fan and air con. Fridge and kettle in room, no cups or tea coffee provided but staff happy to give. You can ask for room cleaning and clean towels but this is not done automatically. The only criticism is that the owners arranged to collect us from airport but they never showed up. A very helpful man called him an hour later and he directed us to a public ferry to the island then we walked to hotel- luckily I made screen shots of the direction

It was nice to be able to pay with a card Shower had uncontrolled leak so floor was always wet and leaking sound was loud and interrupted sleep. WiFi is slow but that seems to be the case for the island.

The room was spacius enogh, the bathroom was clean and the shower was working properly. Clean, white bedsheets, comfy beds, firdge in the room. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was nice. There was a slight moldy smell in the room, mostly because it had no windows only a door, which was closed most of the time. When we were in the room and we left the door wide open it was ok, but I really missed a window, so that the fresh air could come in through the night and my allerty wouldn't have bothered me at all. Upon arriving there were only 2 glasses in the room, even though 4 people were staying in it, but upon asking, we got another one.

They had free water so we could fill up our water whenever we wanted. In breakfast you get to eat some traditional food as well. Location is just 5 minutes walk from the beach. There was some problem with the toilet flush.
• Mazin (7/5): Budget stay with a clean room - Just don't buy the add-ons - First off, set your expectations properly - this is a budget bed and breakfast guest house. It is an old but clean and spacious room. I found some early issues but the staff very committedly resolved them to ensure I had a comfortable stay. Beyond this, it's very close to the beach and nearby restaurants, which is convenient. Overall, the room serves as a decent base to spend a weekend in Maafushi. The only thing I didn't like was an attempt to overcharge me. The Booking.com price was given in USD ($128) for the 2 nights I was to stay there. I agreed to pay via a bank transfer in the local currency - Maldivian Ruffiya. However, the staff (stating it was the owner's instructions) tried to charge me at the higher black market exchange rate instead of the lower official bank rate. I insisted on paying the official bank rate and after the owner didn't pick up numerous calls, the staff gave in and agreed to the official bank rate. Besides this, they charged me $25 for a one-way transfer - I went to the provider they used directly for my return trip and only paid $9. Honestly, the room is a decent budget room, but these attempts at overcharging just ruined the experience for me.

Located in the Kaafu Atoll on Maafushi, the hotel offers an excellent experience for travelers. My friends and I spent two nights there, and we were thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided timely pick-up from the Maafushi jetty area. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the jetty, making it very convenient. The rooms were spacious and clean, which was a pleasant surprise for the price. Plus, the hotel provided free Wi-Fi. The location is fantastic, with the watersports area only a 2-3 minute walk away. After check-out, the staff even took care of our luggage and dropped it off at the jetty, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, our stay at Nala Island Village was wonderful, and we will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Maafushi. Highly recommended for those looking for comfort and convenience on a budget.

• Leca (5/5): Best staff ever! - The staff was the best! Smiled, helpfull. 10/10 Everything you ask you get. U can get beach towels, umbrellas for the sun. They can organize small trips, visits. In the batthroom you have soap and shampoo. Ask and you shall receive. Towels and beds were clean. Cleaning upon asking. The room for 3 is small. We needed more space for clothes. Humidity is huge. Ligh you can get when you open the doors because doors are the windows aa well. Needed more light. Breakfast ia the same each morning.
• Sergey (9/5): Superb - This is a small, cozy guesthouse. The service is super level in terms of support and assistance, they will help and tell you where and how to go or how to book. Shozol and another one employ a very kind and nice managers. The food is simple and unpretentious, but fresh. My Wi-Fi was excellent, but you get tired of reconnecting every couple of minutes. This is a great place for those who constantly go on excursions every day.

• Adriana (9/5): Is a good place to stay in maafushi island in Maldives if you are looking for a cheaper place but confortable with good - My bedroom it was very clean, the ac working very good, the shower is very good I just don’t like the breakfast, because usually I don’t eat white bread. Is not a buffet breakfast, they serve artificial juice, white bread, some fruits and black tea or coffee . So I was out my diet with this breakfast, I eat there white bread with butter, sometimes they have tuna , I like the eggs and fruits, but it’s ok. The price is good so the breakfast is similar like the price

Also arranged airport transportation so reasonable and helped to drop our baggage at the speed boat point in very early morning. Shozol, the manager, helped me accommodate on arrival and gave me recommendations for my stay in Maafushi and for trips arrangement. He was very attentive, and often asked if I was satisfied with my room, the cleaningness and if there was anything he could help me with. Thanks a lot for everything! :) The only unpleasant situation I experienced during my stay at Nala came from a guest who returned to her room and found the door open because the cleaning personnel was in that moment inside working. She went mental, and started accusing the cleaning staff of entering her room without permission (although it's clearly stated that there's daily cleaning service), she was yelling in the patio for hours, about her bikinis and passport and I don't know what other speculations of the things the cleaning man could have done with her belongings eventhough she had no proof of it. Another guest from her same nationality tried to calm her down, but she wasn't reasoning. Next day, at 7AM she woke me up with her yelling in the patio again, and when I left my room for breakfast I found her next to my door talking to other guest "warning them" to be careful with their belongings - this was extremely disturbing. An hour later the police arrived and I don't know what happened but she wasn't in the hotel anymore.

But, the most valuable thing is the staff and owners who helped us a lot after a bad injury and they allowed us to enjoy our stay anyway. They were all very helpful far beyond the normal and beyond any possible expectations. if it weren't for their precious support we wouldn't even have been able to come back home. So, i really reccomend this hotel for the quality of our stay and the big heart of owners and staff. Priceless!!

We felt super welcomed by the friendly staff, who also always helped us with various things like for example booking the amazing activities we did. The room was clean, nicely air conditioned and the breakfast provided by Emdad was super good! Additionally, We were greeted at the seaport upon arrival and also got help with carrying our bags to the transfer boat when departing. We want to especially thank Shozol for his excellent service. He and his staff really make the guests feel welcome to both the hotel and island. We highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely come back to Maafushi and stay at Nala again!

• GUIDO O (8/5): Simples, mas atendeu todas as nossas expectativas. - Hotel minúsculo, mas bastante simpático - na verdade é mais uma pousada do que um hotel propriamente dito. A primeira impressão não foi das melhores, mas com o passar dos dias, fomos nos acostumando. Na verdade, todo a ilha é bastante simples... nada de luxo. O quarto 204 era bastante simples, mas limpinho.

Shout out to shozol who ensured I had a great stay not only at the hotel but also on the island. He recommended me tours to do and took me to the best tour agencies on the island. I enjoyed the breakfast as well
• Melissa (10/5): Amazing service - I loved my stay at Nala Island. The room was clean and a very good size. Right from my arrival at the jetty Shozol took great care of me and you can tell takes pride in his work. He showed me around the island and made sure I felt at home. Even after checkout, I had a late shuttle to the airport, and he made sure I had access to a shower or anything else I might need during the day. This hotel is great value and I would recommend it to friends and happily stay here again!
• A (8/5): Very good - Location is very good, accommodations and service also fine, room bathroom everything is clean, Sajol is very good people and trying to help me from the beginning to last moment of leaving. breakfast ok but needed to arrange buffet if possible. Tooth brush toothpaste combs is required inside of the bathroom. Overall It's a good place in Maafushi.
