- Anna (10/5): - Warm staff, gorgeous location, comfy bed, didnt want to leave :)
- Kezhuo (8/5): -
- Kenneth (9/5): Great value for money. đ - Historic hotel near Bicester that we stayed in transit back to London. Quaint old stone walled rooms. Warm and comfortable bed. Good continental breakfast and overall great value for money. đ Nothing
- Matthew (6/5): -
- Kathleen (3/5): -
- William (6/5): - The bed was clean and comfortable, The room was very cold and i requested for the heat to be turned on , i had to ware my coat in the room but this did not happen, no bar or restaurant open, in the hotel,
- Toni-Marie (1/5): - I don't even know where to start. The property is tired and run down, would benefit greatly from a refurb, bedding was stained as was carpets (some allowances given for carpets but these were bad) Windows didn't close properly, blinds broken, curtain rails hanging off. The overwhelming musty smell of damp. Cockroaches (dead) found throughout the room along with a variety of living bugs, again throughout. Managed one night in here (only because of finishing a night shift) No sleep, left the next day despite being paid up for the week. This property is not fit to be advertised asked for refund. Never went with the expectations of the Ritz for the price, but wasn't expecting it to be this bad.
- Mark (6/5): -
- Sarah (7/5): Nice quiet stay clean room ideal for getting out in the day just a shame there's no restaurant or bar at the mo - Nice place yes could do with decorating but was clean lovely old property Decorating no bar no restaurant but owners are sorting a licence as only took over a few months ago
- Peter (10/5): Loads of character and charm - I love the character of the place, old and quiet. The host's were great very helpful but not at all intrusive. I love old quiet buildings Honestly nothing, for me it was perfect

- Alex (10/5): The Jersey Arms Hotel. - The staff were extremely helpful and polite. They said that we could ask for anything we needed, but did not bother us at all. The parking was really handy, just across the road.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. There was nothing we didn't like, it was clean, comfortable and just really nice.
- Fiona (7/5): -
- Natalie (5/5): - Brock my foot on the step
- Alpaslan (10/5): - Had to say it worthwhile to stay in this price room was big and bed was very clean and comfortable.
Staff was really professional Nothing
- Lucas (8/5): - The cosy rustic rooms with large space Slight cleanliness issue
- Poetschke (1/5): Not what the pictures show - Nothing Everything
- Charlie (4/5): -
- Hayley (1/5): Horrendous! DO NOT BOOK! Filth! - Nothing! Property was filthy with a bad smell. Carpets were rotten, broken blinds, holes in carpets. Everything. As mention property was filthy. So bad so that we could not even stay here! Hotel refused a refund! Even after moving rooms, both were disgusting! And grimy
- Robert (4/5): I stayed here en route to London for one night. Wouldnât stay here again - The hotel is in desperate need for updating. The door wouldnât shut and it wasnât down to paint on it. Itâs never seen that for years. The bedding was clean but everything else wasnât. Could be lovely with a little investment The staff were nice. Thatâs where it ends
- Barry (6/5): -
- Kevin (7/5): - Nice cottage style place, I'd say nice in summer Old rooms, no facilities, food, drinks
- Layla (10/5): Highly recommend - Budget hotel, value for price paid. Clean ,comfortable bed & larger room. Clean and attractive, stone wall was very beautiful.Breakfast good as it was free of cost. Definitely will stay again. Highly recommended Nothing
- Gordon (8/5): Excellent value! - Period Coaching property converted in to rooms. Many rooms were outside with their own entrance. This was quieter than larger hotels we had stayed at. Caution rather than dislike car parking was on the other side of the road to hotel
- Richard (9/5): Ideal for our needs - Comfortable and clean. Good location. Atmospheric
- Patrycja (10/5): -
- salvadornovo (9/5): - Ubicacion
- andrew (7/5): - Ok Cold room in the morning
- Alan (7/5): -
- COLIN (6/5): For the price paid we were able to have our well behaved boxer dog with us & we ate enough breakfast - Value for price paid, accommodation was clean & comfortable, bathroom looked like it had a recent revamp, no problems. Crossing the road to & from car park, would be better & safer if guest's could drop off bags from vehicle at main reception hard standing area then park up in hotel car park opposite
- David (2/5): Not great - Not a great deal Everything was old
- amanda (6/5): -
- Ayodeji Akerele (2/5): - The only thing to like was that it was the quiet room It had no restuarant, no nearby groceries and poor transport links
- Shaun (10/5): Budgeted ,clean & unique characteristics building. Highly recommend - I was stayed in courtyard big and comfortable room. Clean and attractive specially the stone wall. Budgeted hotel and recommended. Itâs old 800 years building you can not expect to be newer.
Complementary breakfast offer could be more better but itâs free of cost so I enjoyed. Just 3 miles from Bicester village shopping outlet.
- Rebecca (8/5): Cute room with charm and personality. - Breakfast was fine. Everything I needed but a little prepackaged. It felt a little dated but that was part of the charm. Blinds on door windows.
- Abdul (10/5): excellent - It was a pleasant stay in this historic building with my partner, my room was on the top floor and it has huge space in it 2 arms chairs were in the room so we can relax on ,nice clean and comfortable bed. Nothing
- Sarah (10/5): Good location . Clean and big room under the price i have paid was excellent . Breakfast, very good. - The location was very suitable . Clean and Big under this price is amazing. The breakfast which was including in room price was very decent and satisfactory.Would love to stay here again .
- Peter (10/5): Excellent - Check in late night after having long journey room was the best in the price which i have paid really nice comfortable bed with peaceful atmosphere mini fridge was in my room so i can cold me bear :)
Will definitely come back in this beautiful and historic building if have a chance! Car park was full !
- Paul (9/5): Was there literally just to sleep. Arrived at 2am, found the keys at the reception. Good night sleep and left first thin -
- Peter (10/5): Excellent - Can not ask more in this price, always had nice experience throughout while staying at jersey arms ! Nothing
- Peter (10/5): Very nice - Room was big and clean bed was comfortable had a peaceful night as you excepted when staying in any hotel, hotel staff was very helpful and professional ! Resturent were closed when we arrived
- Kuratle (7/5): - Small, easy and very friendly personal No cleaning the rooms, i have to organise toiletpaper always myself
- Kuratle (7/5): -

- Sarah (5/5): Overnight stay - I spent 1 night at the Jersey Arms Hotel with friends and the location was good for the wedding we were attending. The car park had adequate space and was just across the road. The property from the outside is very quant and has an old cottage appearance with a small garden area which you can sit in which would be nice if you wanted to take in the sunshine. Breakfast was continental and had toast, cereal, pan au chocolate and yoghurt. Plenty of juice, tea and coffee. The Hotel has no open bar or restaurant facilities despite the pictures online which was disappointing. The room was quite spacious but did look a bit tired and the bathroom had some old hand wash which had conjealed but was otherwise clean. The breakfast lobby still had christmas decoration up in April!! My room was on the side of the main road which is busy most of the day/night so was quite noisy. My biggest issue was the fact that there were ants in the room, they were all in the bathroom (sink and bath) and in the bedroom on the carpet. I paid ÂŁ96 and would say this is overpriced for the facilities and general stay.
- Colin (3/5): Dated and unwelcoming - Good location for a motorway stopover Booked a suite, only had a double bed, no sofa bed apparent. Staff unwelcoming. Complained about our 9.20pm arrival despite booking.com saying reception until 10pm. Dirty bed sheets, tired and dated.
- PJ (10/5): -
- Joseph (7/5): - Nice open plan room Initially booked as thought it had a bar and kitchen, but not the case.
- Andy (1/5): Poor - we didnât stay in the end and went elsewhere after looking at our room - Nothing - it was very poor. We didnât stay - looked at room, state of bed, bathroom and smell and went elsewhere The room, key wouldâve been left for anyone to pick up. Poor accommodation- would not recommend booking.

Cordialement. Ălise Ragois ragoisproftpe@gmail.com
- Megan (4/5): Disappointed - this place should not cost more than a premier inn. - The location and the outside of the building was nice The rooms smelled old and stale as if they hadnât been slept in for ages. Rooms were dirty/dusty and had bugs (such as ants) in them. There were random stains in areas which didnât help to feel comfortable. The website does not show what the place actually looks like, the place felt rundown and unloved.
- Terry (1/5): Dont bother stopping here it shouldnt be allowed to be on booking.com its not suitable for anyone to sleep in - Looked great from the outside and location was perfect Room was disgusting, i opened the door and the smell was awful, the curtains were damaged and falling down, we booked 2 single beds and it was just 2 single mattresses on a double 1 double base, when told the owner they didnt see the issue so we left immediately and booked into another hotel.
- Christian (7/5): -
- Helen (1/5): Do not recommend- - It is a beautiful building in a quiet village Poorly maintained, rooms dirty, staff approach not great. Asked about vegan options for breakfast and was basically told it is free and continental so you get what you get. Room cost ÂŁ83!
- Patrycja (8/5): -
- Donna (1/5): Terrible - Proximity to Bicester Very poor decoration. In need of full modernisation. Rooms damp. No hot water. Grim looking from the outside. Rooms very badly decorated. Furniture old and like itâs been found in a very bad charity shop. Horrible smell in the room the whole time. Avoid at all costs.
- Cavinue (5/5): -
- mark (5/5): Catfished by the online photos - Itâs a beautiful old building. In desperate need of investment and renovation across the board.
- Jan (3/5): The guy on reception when I checked in was pleasant and carried my bags to my room. Did not see one member of staff afte - It was convenient for where I needed to be each day Very âtiredâ decor, and facilities. ( shower/hairdryer) couldnât charge my electric toothbrush as the power point was coated on a light too high on a wal, with no shelf underneath. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, mattress both sunken and lumpy. Obviously very old. No housekeeping during my three night stay,
I only ate the first morning, expecting the continental breakfast described. Sadly disappointed. No cold meats or cheeses that was described. There were prepackaged croissants but no way to heat them!
- Hilary (6/5): Tired but clean ⊠you get what you pay for! - Good sized room with en suite & a seating area.. Clean. Quiet. Fair price. Plenty of parking. Easy to find.
Good to have breakfast in, albeit very basic. The place (lovely old building) is tired eg carpets, older bathroom etc. It could be amazing if refurbished BUT you get what pay for & this was inexpensive - clearly the business model theyâre going for. It was fine for a basic stay - probably great if youâre working in an area & donât want to pay a lot.
- wazzawoo (1/5): - Nothing Well the pictures really don't do this place any justice. It's nice to see what the hotel once looked like in 2016. We actually drove past this accommodation thinking it was a derelict building and then once we returned the inside matches the outside. It's dirty, mouldy, and in real need of refurbishment. We refused to stay here even after a free upgrade to a premium suite. This place is really bad if you don't believe check Google or TripAdvisor I wish we had as booking.com will not acknowledge or accept how bad this place is. We have asked for a refund but the property or booking. come will not accept it. Please do not book here!!! I hate to put bad reviews but they definitely do deserve it (again check other review sites as the reviews on here read like jackanory) this is the first time in the past 3_4 years of using booking.com they have let me down and the first bad comment I have written for them but I feel really let down by the company and discusted by the accommodation that is offered here
- Bioletti (10/5): -
- Rob (2/5): Donât bother - The bed was comfortable Dated, crumbling and dirty. Windows that donât close properly, bugs in the bath, dirty carpets, terrible breakfast.
- Lesley (6/5): A one night stop over for grandsons passing out parade. It was clean and tidy with comfortable bed. - The breakfast was fine, plenty available. The place was a bit tired and needs updating but comfortable for a night. Clean and tidy.
- John (6/5): The hotel is in an excellent position, but is great need of extensive renovation and modernisation. - The location was excellent and the car park well lit but the potholes are in need of repair.
Our breakfast was left on a tray the night before. We returned to our room last night to find a tray with croissants wrapped in a serviette; 2 wrapped pain au chocolat; 2 pots of instant porridge with wrapped butter, sachets of jam and Nutella, tea and coffee.
- Mark (5/5): - Putting this review in perspective, the nights accommodation including breakfast was very reasonable, so I did not expect the ritz!
The staff were polite and helpful and the room was clean. Breakfast was as promised a continental option. The hotel is looking a bit tired and does need some TLC, which if it receives will make it a great little place to stay.
Our room was above the reception and it was annoying that we could hear fairly loud talking from downstairs until about 2am.
- Paul (7/5): -
- ANTHONY (9/5): Nice stay. - Beautiful building and very handy for Bicester Village shopping and Oxford The room wasn't dirty it was very clean but our room could do with a deep clean of carpets etc just to make it look a bit fresher.
- Lisa (7/5): Would use again for a stop off - Easy to find plenty of parking
Rooms quite a good size although in need of an update
Friendly staff
Cheap price No restaurant pub is closed nearest for food is Bicester
- Nabeel (8/5): - The receptionist was very accommodating.
- Robert (7/5): -
- Stoner (5/5): Served its purpose for a one night stay, nothing spectacular. - The rooms were spacious, the beds were semi comfortable. Decor was nice, quaint. There was a dirty stain on one of the towels, it was disgusting! Why put it back in circulation and not throw it away? Cleanliness of the bathroom was ok, could be better - lots of limescale. Needs more attention to detail - paint job, fixing cable trunking, better phone service.
- Samantha (6/5): You get what you pay for. I had a pleasant stay regardless - The area is quiet which is exactly what I was looking for. Plenty of parking and it was free. Man on reception was really welcoming and helpful.
I booked the supreme room which was not as expected. Itâs like a small apartment but nothing like the pictures.
The bed was super comfy and the heating was on ready for my arrival which was lovely. 11am check out time gave me a nice lie in too.
Free WiFi which I did use was fast and easy to connect to. free breakfast but I didnât end up having but thought it was nice to be included. The hotel is dog friendly, and so am I, except there was dog hair absolutely everywhere in the room.
The sink had tooth paste spat all over it, the kettle had really bad limescale, the bath was sprinkled in something.
The carpet was absolutely filthy.
I had to reprogram the tv as it wouldnât work
- Timothy (10/5): -
- Gary (2/5): Overall it was not a pleasant stay and was not as advertised. - Location was good. The images on the internet do not reflect this location at all. The rooms are old and tired. Paint was pealing off of the ceiling in the bedroom, the bedroom door barely closed and there is no way that the bedroom door would pass a fire door inspection. The electric shower look approximately 20 years old to the point where the outer plastic casing had discolouration, it was also very loud when operating. One side of the bed felt like it had either collapsed or the mattress had worn significantly. There was a small kettle on the floor which I wanted to use in the morning but water had been left inside it which had gone a cloudy colour. There is also no bar or restaurant.
- Debs Stott (Greasley) (8/5): - The breakfast included was a welcome surprise, we enjoyed it. Beds were comfy and the place had a lot of charm.
- Sean Liddell (6/5): Very basic - The price Not the cleanest, towels and sheets stained, rooms peeling plaster, raised bath meant I had to duck in the shower.
- Gemma (8/5): Great location and service - The location is brilliant for visiting Bicester. It was easy to find even in the dark! Love that it has a car park A bit outdated
- Georgina (3/5): Unpleasant and I wouldnât stay there again if you paid me - Nice location Very run down, room was dated and grubby, stained sheet, dirty carpet, littered car park, no bar or restaurant, wasnât told about the charge for the dog in advance. The photos on-line donât match the property.
- Timothy (3/5): Wonât be staying there again. - Character from the outside. Cold, smelt and damp floor.
- Andrew (5/5): - Could do with a refurb.
- graham (5/5): Basically this hotel needs serious maintenance and money spent, the staff (the 2 of them were very helpful and polite, b - Tbh very little, very tired. No bar, no restaurant, no cooked breakfast
- Mark (5/5): Good location and value, disappointing facilities - Good value and location Bar & restaurant closed so no food or drink at hotel in the evening.
Would help customers if this was made clear when looking to book.
- Christopher (6/5): -
- Marina (3/5): - Location was good Room wasn't up to standard, bed was lumpy and there was 2 mattresses together.
Room needs updating with paint, some of the room was half painted and some wasn't,
Portable heater being used to heat the room.
- LINDA (6/5): -
- Jaime (1/5): - Nothing The room was cold and felt dirty, no restaurant or bar, we left 90 minutes after we arrived.
The place needs to be condemned.
- Andrew (1/5): Just donât. Youâll thank me. - Nothing Everything
- ĐĐ”ĐœĐŽĐ”ŃĐŸĐČ (10/5): -
- Mark (5/5): - No bar or evening food available
- Adele (4/5): -
- Remco (6/5): - locatie ontbijt vonden wij niet geweldig zou er nooit extra voor betalen.Verder verouderd pand maar voor 1 nacht prima
- gina (6/5): Nice, just what we looked for in terms of location. - Good location, but in need of alittle tlc.
Breakfast was ok, lovely building, but a noisey road at night
Top marks for being dog friendly.
Would stay again if rooms were updated. Needs updating
- Katie (1/5): Disgusting - Nothing- very unclean and dirty. Unclean, tired rooms, unable to shower or use the toilet facilities.
