- Neil (3/5): - It is in a convenient location for the centre of town. Bed was uncomfortable, bathroom very dated, walls paper thin and I could hear every word from next door. The breakfast was really bad, couldn't eat it - soggy hash brown, sausage was lacking meat and the croissant was honestly rock solid, no idea how old it was. I won't be staying again.

The staff are all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms and public areas were very clean. I do not like buffet breakfasts and would prefer the food cooked to order. Clean enough, comfortable enough, polite, efficient check in and check out staff, excellent location. Best value in Watford. It's a little dated but this is reflected in the price.

The room was very comfortable and clean 👍 While it had air conditioning, it didn't seem to do much. The room remained so warm we couldn't sleep with blankets on top of us, and having the window open was difficult due to the noise of the street. The shower head was loose - in need of fixing!

The lampshades, sofa, tv remote control were incredibly dusty which made me concerned about the total cleanliness of the room. Location is superb for city centre and Harlequin shopping centre and high street. Free parking at the back excellent value for money. There’s no points of dislike, I understand is a budget hotel that superseded expectations.

Small loft room stuffy, dark and pokey for the premium price I paid. Expected breakfast to be included for this high price. Very poor sound proofing with lift next door and constant traffic noise.

- Ian (8/5): - Had a family room but the bathroom was a wet room, I can only assume it was for disabled access. There was no lid on the toilet (personal preference if closing lid to flush the toilet for hygiene and it was difficult washing a baby as no bath or even enclosed shower.
