Guest Reviews
- Robert (8/5): GOOD - Room was good but only one tiny bottle of shower gel for a two night stay?
Nice to have kettle, tea and coffee in the room
- paul (8/5): Enjoyed our stay, I would book again - Breakfast only served until 9.30 (Sundays) sausages weren’t up to much and no tinned tomatoes
- Chris (8/5): Great value for money, friendly and comfortable - Really friendly owners and staff. Great bar and tasty food Lack of breakfast a bit of a surprise
- Neil (7/5): - Had an issue with the shower/bath unable to regular water flow, no cold mix.
- Pauline Codd (10/5): - All of it Nill
- Paul (4/5): The staff were polite and helpful. The bed had springs poking through and eas far past replacement. We arrived back at t - It’s a really nice building, the communal areas are modern and clean The bed was awful. There are also far to many signs everywhere how to use the tv, shower curtain, wash your hands and the £100 call out as the hotel appears un manned at night
- Mark (8/5): First visit, and will return again. - Good size room, comfy bed, car parking, quiet location. Breakfast
- Huntapac Produce Ltd (7/5): -
- IAN (8/5): Excellent hotel with helpful stay - It was a lovely old fashioned hotel It was a little further from the centre than I thought
- ANDREA (3/5): - Comfy beds No breakfast available. Air conditioning unit was full of dust when we switched it on. Luke warm water on the first morning, member of staff turned the boiler up so it was hotter on the 2nd morning. Extremely rude owner turning the tv up to 72 in the bar while we were having a quiet conversation next to it, would have been nice if he politely asked if we minded.
- Simon (5/5): - Not much Room was tired and needed redecoration, there's no towels in the rooms, they don't reply to emails and don't expect a receipt for your stay
- Deakin (9/5): - Tucked away quite nicely, but not to secluded that your away from Skegness town centre,, food in the restaurant was very good.
- Stuart (8/5): Beautiful hotel with amazing staff at an incredible price, I will be visiting again - Staff was amazing & price was also exceptional, only reason for not full marks was.. everything has room for improvement however I was pleased with the overall experience 😀 I cant say there was anything I did not like
- Alyson (9/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Lovely weekend away & will definitely stay again. - Beautiful building, staff were excellent & very attentive. Lovely & clean & only a 15 walk from the hustle & bustle of the town centre so very peaceful & night.
Although we did eat there the food looked gorgeous too.

Large gardens and the food looked good . I didn’t dine as I was only there 1 night . I will dine the next time I am here. Nothing

I had the chilli jacket potato one day and the lasagne the next and both were the best I've tasted. Great selection of drinks too. Lovely outdoor area too. Absolutely nothing everything was perfect
- Natalie (10/5): -
- Barry (8/5): -
- Rachel (9/5): - The shower wasn't very good

- DAVE (7/5): Is it haunted? - Comfortable with friendly staff .. had trouble finding the entrance but got there in the end No breakfast available on our time of booking
- John (9/5): Excellent Food & Value for Money - The evening meal we had (Fish & Chips / Pizza Deal) was 2nd to none the fish was a whale and the wife's pizza was fresh and tasty and the price was excellent - £15 Pizza, Side and Drink. We would have scored it 10/10 but our room was quite warm even with a fan which meant we slept ok not the worst nights sleep we've had but not the best.
- James (10/5): - Beautiful building very clean Everything you need for a nice weekend away
- Anthony Benyon (7/5): Nice hotel, but nice breakfast option - Nice hotel No breakfast option and a but remote
- Shaun (8/5): - Excellent food. Far exceeded expectations. Window in room rattled due to heavy wind which had to be left open.
- Vanessa (10/5): Best hotel in Skegness - It was like a posh hotel I was amazed and definitely wasn’t expecting it at that price the food was 5* Nothing I didn’t like.
- Ian (5/5): We stayed for 1 night. Hotel looks pretty and is in a nice location. Staff are friendly. Food was nice, although on - Lovely location, good food (although on the expensive side). Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Very noisy at night, difficult to sleep. No internet in the rooms.
- Alison (10/5): Loved it, woukd remember to anyone - The location, area was do good, staff were amazing Bed was a little uncomfortable for us but it might be okay for someone else
- Luke (3/5): Cheap. But don’t expect what the outside or the pictures suggest. - Nice aspect on the outside. The mattress was awful. Very poor sleep.
The pillows had no filling.
The room requires updating and holes in the wall addressing
- Sharon (10/5): -
- Richard (10/5): - Everything thanks
- Chris (9/5): No nasty surprises, generally a good experience and we will be back again next year. - Room was comfortable with plenty of space, but bed was a bit on the small side. Breakfast was excellent and good value for money. Staff friendly and attentive. Evening meal on the first day was fine but on the second night both our meals had the appearance of having been pre cooked and re heated being a little dry. We didn't use the bar on this visit. Very convenient for Seacroft golf course where I was playing, This is an old building and always seems a bit dark inside, they can't help that or change it.
- John (10/5): -
- Linnett (9/5): -
- Jenaa (10/5): -
- Debra (10/5): - The hotel was clean, well organised and welcoming.
It was in a close vicinity of the clock tower and the amusements. Roughly 20- 25 mins Nothing 8
- Sarah (9/5): Excellent hotel - Room was very clean, we had a meal in the bar on our 1st night it was excellent, and affordable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for our clothes/belongings. We have been several times over the past year and we always have a lovely time, we will be back. There was nothing we weren't happy with.
- paul (6/5): Won’t be going back! - Country hotel feel Banging and loud thumping noise’s during the night due to main door opening and closing. So didn’t get much sleep 🙁
- Lesley (8/5): -
- Natalie (10/5): Staff very friendly and accommodating - Great location Lovely hotel room could do with updating a bit decoration wise
- Kelly (10/5): -
- AmberJane1991 (10/5): Lovely place, will be 100% back - Very spacious family room! Clean and tidy. Comfy beds, everything we needed in our room Nothing it was a great stay
- Ernesta (5/5): -
- Louise (9/5): -
- Milner (4/5): Won't be coming again - No hot water. Very noisy we were in the room above the main door of the bar resturant and smoking area. Older Male with beard on bar sarcastic then to our shock we saw him working on reception later on. Can't imagine his customer service skills improved in that position either. Young female receptionist and young male on the bar were very good helpful and professional.
- Lynn (8/5): Delightful overall, staff very friendly and helpful. - The location was great stayed before. Didn't have breakfast because we think it it is better in skegness town.. The room was a bit tired. leak from above on the ceiling,
- Paul (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (9/5): - Room was big tidy a clean
- Bob (7/5): -
- Susan (10/5): Lovely stay with everthing we need - Clean and quiet
- Lucie Davenport (9/5): -
- Richard (10/5): - Very very lovely place Everything
- Ben (6/5): Pleasant - Clean room, comfy bed Toilet cistern faulty, water running constantly in the toilet, bit like Chinese water torture, but makes a change from the usual Travelodge fan running constantly. I managed by keeping the toilet door closed but I wish these hotels would check these things BEFORE they book someone in to a room.
- Patrick Gerald (8/5): Comfortable and friendly hotel. - Good bars and lovely food with friendly staff. Prefer a walk in shower.
- Sarah (8/5): Have stayed here many times & like it, lovely staff - Perfect location & clean & comfy bed. It was out of season, didn’t supply breakfast. I would have like to place order night before for just a sausage bap ( even cooked & reheated in microwave) & glass of orange juice. If been possible.
- Karen (10/5): Brilliant - Room was amazing food was too
- Peter (8/5): - clean easy access & staff very helpful & friendly no breakfast
- Hutchings (8/5): - Clean, well decorated room. Food was lovely. Friendly & helpful staff. No breakfast offered.
- Jacquie (8/5): - The staff offered help with our case and also helped out with a phone charger. Nothing
- steve (8/5): - Food was excellent and the beer No more Lamb shank available
- Della (5/5): - No breakfast
- Donna (6/5): We wasn’t happy at all about the Housekeeping we went for a relaxing three days and then ended up running about for towe - The property was in inviting when you walked through the doors it was clean and tidy We never had no Housekeeping for two days. There were dirty towels that we had used left all in the bathroom. As we had nowhere else to put them The manager tried to say that we had only paid less than what we had paid and Housekeeping don’t turn up to change towels, beds or replenish the items on the coffee and tea side of it but we had paid £240 the manager would not come and see us as they had only been in post four days The Housekeeping were there in the morning but just basically didn’t turn up to our room. We was out from 9 o’clock both days came back and had to go down and complain. They brought us a towel each no clean cups and a few milk and teabags. When we left on the Sunday morning, the manager S was there but gave us no eye contact no other apology just basically ignore us. We just walked out. when we booked this day, it said we could get breakfast at the request in the morning. There was no breakfast as it wasn’t peak time. We asked to ask about this. It was not noted anywhere.
- Shelton (10/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): Lovely overnight stay - We have been to the hotel many times over the years with family but we have never stayed. Very welcoming, room was superb, lovely & clean. Short walk into Skegness so ideal location. Nothing
- lee (7/5): Comfortable but hungry - Nice hotel in a good place Lack of breakfast
- Donna (10/5): -
- Sam (7/5): Good value, out of season but keeping standards - Clean, well placed in town, feels separate from the front Cold on arrival had to put heating on but warmed up after a while.
- Angela (6/5): Rooms good, food excellent, poor hospitality. - Breakfast was not offered. When I booked I called the hotel and was told that breakfasts were paid for separately and were not available on Mondays . On checking in on the slip we were given with internet code , opening times of restaurant times were given . Breakfast wasn’t mentioned.
The hotel no longer offers breakfasts . We stayed for 3 nights. Our room wasn’t cleaned the whole time we were there despite putting the hanger on our door. The coffee/ tea/ milk were not replenished and the “ luxury toiletries” which consisted of 2 20ml bottles of shower gel were not replaced.
We mentioned it to reception who weren’t really bothered and just gave us a pint glass full of tea bags, milk and coffee sachets . They said that as we had booked through booking .com to complain to you .
- Chantelle (10/5): -
- Martin (6/5): Disappointed - Location No bar, no restaurant
- Helen (10/5): Interesting building. Nice staff. Good food - Lovely room. Great location
- Stephen Foreman (7/5): - Nice friendly staff and a good evening meal. Missed not having a breakfast service.
- Nigel (6/5): Underachieving potential - Lovely building.
Big room/suite.
Friendly staff. No breakfast available.
No comfortable seating in cummunial lounge or bar.
- Allison (7/5): Comfortable Stay - First time staying here. Hotel staff were all lovely and friendly that we spoke to. Room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable. Room had tea and coffee making facilities, with a selection of tea and coffee. We stayed in Room 24, which overlooked the drive way, which was a nice view. We stayed in room 24, on arrival when we walked into the room it was cold like walking in to a freezer.
Room does need a little tlc. The bathroom needs a some tlc as well. Turned the hot water tap on, took 5 minuites for any water to come through. Turned the cold water tap on the following morning and the water came out yellow, had to leave running around 10 minuites for it to come clear. The taps don't turn off properly, twist right round.
- Charlotte (8/5): Vi hade det bra - Nära och bra till familj och vänner Att det inte serverades frukost
- Chloe (10/5): Absolutely fantastic! - All staff were friendly and helpful.
The room (same one I've stayed in before) was clean and tidy, nice and warm which is a bonus for this time of year.
The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious.
Overall a fantastic stay and a local favourite!!
