Guest Reviews
- Cristina giovanna (9/5): - L’abitazione molto bella e storica. Posizione perfetta per visitare Edimburgo. La casa è confortevole, silenziosa e accessoriata di tutto. La lavanderia è comodissima. Niente
- Mario (9/5): - Leuke sfeervolle accommodatie op een goede locatie.
- Sabine (10/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - Lage, Ausstattung,
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roberta (9/5): Would love to stay here in the future if we return to Scotland - It was a great location. An interesting air BandB to stay in. Close to the water and many places to eat. The gardens were beautiful and was nice to have morning coffee in Thank you for the bottle of wine and milk and other goodies Walking distance tot he tram to go in New and Old Edinburgh and walking distance to the Royal Yacht The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the couch in the living room was not comfy.
- Tracie (10/5): Perfect get away venue easy access to Edinburgh - The property is so quirky the lounge and kitchen are on the top floor with a spiral staircase from the first floor with a twin on suite room to the first floor with two double rooms and bathroom with roll top bath. Nothing the location, cleanliness, amenities are all lovely.
- Lea (10/5): - It was perfect!
- Konrad (8/5): The right place to experience Edinburgh in an almost-original historic setting - The accommodation is very pitoresque and, although newly built, resembles an elegant 18th century townhouse - with much more comfort such as underfloor heating, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and electricity. The neighborhood is quiet, yet with many amenities such as restaurants, cafes, etc. The Britannia yacht and a cinema and shopping center are within walking distance, the connection to the city center with public transport is very good. The property management is very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our car on the premises for a few hours after check-out. In some aspects, too much attention was probably paid to the historical ambience. A little more light in the bedroom, a more comfortable sofa in the living room and more usable closets would have been nice.
- Piers (9/5): Beautifully appointed house in the heart of Leith, a short tram ride from the City centre. - Really high end equipment, plentiful supply of everything you’d need, wonderful attention to detail, beautiful decor. Only glitch was when we got there and there was no information about the gate key but we found it. I don’t like not having any out of hours phone numbers so I don’t know what we would have done in an emergency.
- William (5/5): Passable - Secure car parking. Spiral staircase difficult for those with disability.
Middle floor double bed too high. Ok if your 6ft tall.
- Elizabeth (9/5): A great short trip - The proximity to the Water of Leith.
Three bedrooms. Could have been warmer.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Fabulous stay. Loved having three floors for the family to spread out. The house was beautiful and the location excellent.
- Eric (8/5): Good place to stay for few days - The location, space, full equipped kitchen The uncomfortable couch, heater doesn’t turn off on one of the rooms
- Gopakumar (9/5): Amazing experience - very nice property. Near to bus stop and Tram station. surrounded by many restaurants and pub. calm and peaceful stay.
- Felipa (9/5): Very nice - The beautiful house and furniture. The guardem. The main WC bathtube doesn’t have a curtin. Whenever we showered, everything around got wet.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (10/5): Gorgeous house in a great location - Beautiful house and furniture; personal touches like flowers and fruit.
- Elisabeth (9/5): A city break staying at a beautifully presented property ideally located for exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding are - We booked The Pavilion as our base for a city break 18-22 August. The property is in an excellent location next to the Shore and it’s lovely pubs and delis
(a particular favourite being Toast). It is also very close to the bus stop taking you directly into the centre of Edinburgh. Fast, easy and cheap.
The property itself was immaculate and far exceeded expectations. From crisp linens to bathrobes, a well stocked kitchen and bathroom there was a
real attention to detail. After a long car journey from Sussex We were particularly delighted with the tea, coffee and milk and later the bottle of wine.
We would not hesitate to come back and throughly recommend the property. Thank you for making our stay so special. there is nothing to fault however personally as a party of 5 adults a second full shower would have been great. however the bath was beautiful!
