• Spilatro (8/5): Enjoyed my stay at the Fairfield - It was comfortable with a very good bed, very clean unit, and an excellent staff. It was a little too noisy for my benefit. But, much of the noise was due to a youth soccer team that was staying at the same time. Aside from that, it probably would have been quiet to get a good night's rest.
• Tortorice (3/5): It was awful. - Location Evening employee couldn't find my reservation. I showed her my confirmation email and she insisted it wasn't in her system. So, we paid for another room. The next day I spoke to AM employee and she found the reservation immediately. She was going to "try" and get a refund for one of the reservations. To make things worse, our Room had an AC unit in it that sounded like a gas-powered motor, very noisy, hard to sleep.

• EDITH (3/5): - Solo me gusto por la ubicación El cuarto no tenia agua caliente, pagamos una suites que ellos mismos nos dijeron que sabían que no funcionaba el agua caliente y nos querían cambiar a un cuarto de menor categoría, lo único que ofrecieron fue darnos una llave para bañarnos en otro cuarto y asi fueron las 3 noches y 4 dias qué estuvimos ahí, muy mala atención por parte de la gerencia y recepción, no hicieron la limpieza, había unos calcetines tirados me imagino que de un cliente anterior, no tienen caja fuerte.

Delicious breakfast with many options of meals. Marriot hotels are another kind of level of hospitality. Friendly and very prestative staff. The curtains couldnt cover completely the windows in the room.

The only problem I had was a guest was “talking” to the front desk about a problem and it apparently got a little heated so both front people went into office but they didn’t come back out for a long time. • Ericka (8/5): - The front desk staff were very friendly and sweet. The hotel had a good breakfast with various options, complimentary water, and the place was very clean. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable to me because they weren’t very firm. They also don’t do house keeping like making the beds cleaning the bathroom if you don’t stay for a minimum of 3 nights which was extremely odd to me as I’ve stayed in lower rated cheaper hotels and never had that be an issue. Wasn’t expecting that from a higher rated hotel. Also one of their elevators was broken the entire stay so it would take a little bit for us to go up and down. Parking was hard the first night. There weren’t a lot of options as it was full but didn’t have issues the next night. Overall location was nice and easy to get to Texas state university, food, and shops. Right off of 35.

We came to move our son to TXST, this will be our go to from now on when we visit! Elevator issues on both elevators the whole 4 days.

It looked like water had leaked from the ceiling and there was still damage visible but there was a patchwork of wallpaper squares to cover the damage that was more fit for a Motel 6. Also the shower head was clogged partly spraying on the curtain which flooded the bathroom. The pool was comfortable but def needed to be cleaned. Good breakfast and very friendly staff was the best part
