Amanda (9/5): - Love the location close to Legends and ball parks. Staff was helpful when I needed to use the laundry. The bed was too firm for my liking. And breakfast ended at 9:30 on Saturday so we pretty much missed it as we didn’t get down till 9:15 and nearly all the breakfast was gone.

Bret (10/5): Have stayed here two different times and both times have been fantastic! - It is within walking distance to Legends mall and close to a number of restaurants. The breakfast was quite tasty and certainly above average. There wasn’t anything in particular that I didn’t like.

Being charged for parking (was not disclosed on the reservation), for the price paid, I was hoping for quiet rooms but ours was not as quiet as other places we have stayed.

Kids loved the indoor pool, and the walking distance to the shops and restaurants at The Legends makes it a no-brainer place to stay. Highly recommend it! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great breakfast.

Barb (9/5): It was a great experience. - I loved the spacious room. Enjoyed the separate kitchen area with a full size fridge. Ability to check in, but not get a room would be nice. Some events start early but end late so check in time aren’t always convenient. Also, not a lot of parking available.

Tiffiney (10/5): - We stayed here for 3 weeks after selling our home. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the pool was nice. It is super close to anything you might need. Target, Walmart, restaurants all within a block. The only surprise we had was Friday night fireworks. When the monarchs have a home game they shoot off fireworks literally in the parking lot across the street. We did not know this and thought there was a war going on outside the first time it happened but once we figured it out it was cool to watch. The only downside we had was during the week it was super quiet with mostly business class but on the weekends it was wall to wall kids sports teams and they were so loud lol. Literally could not walk quietly to save their lives so weekends we didn’t get alot of rest but overall this is a nice place to stay.

Judi (10/5): - The room and staff were excellent! The exercise room and pool were great! The only negative thing I have is I saw a little trash on the outside of property on sidewalk and in tan bark that was there for the length of my stay of 2 days.
Paul (10/5): - Pros - The room was comfortable and across the street from The Legend Mall. There were plenty of shops and restaurants to visit. Cons - Parking was $10 daily. We questioned whether this property was worth twice the cost of other nearby hotels with similar amenities.
Estoran (10/5): Great halfway stop between KC and Topeka with lots to do - Hotel was great! Even better that it was walkable to Legends which is a huge outdoor mall type complex with restaurants, bars, shopping, and even a casino. Parking passes were needed so that they could keep the lot just for guests, but that was easy enough. Friendly staff and easy off the highway.

The bed itself was uncomfortably hard, the room was clean but noise could be heard from rooms on either side. The morning breakfast good with multiple selects. The staff members were exceptional.

Prepare to be double charged and not g - Made my reservation thru booking.com, paid for the room thru booking.com. I have made numerous reservations with them and never a problem. This time,however, Marriott chose to charge my card I used for incidentals to charge me again for the full price of the room. When I checked out. They said the charge would “fall off” in a few days. It did not. When i called, they said they if was an error on their part and they would refund and send me a confirmation e-mail. They did not. When I called 4 hours later, same person, said she had been so busy but would send it now then hung up on me. Do not stay here!!!!

Tiffany (4/5): - STAY AWAY from this hotel is you have a large group. We stayed as this hotel with a group of teenagers for my daughter birthday. We wanted to be near the legends so they could all enjoy the shopping, eating, etc. we also planned this trip around the fact that this hotel has a pool, which would entertain the girls for a significant amount of time. When I arrived to check in, I was advised the pool was closed “for scheduled maintenance” which I was not advised of until my arrival- upon which time it was too late to book at the only other hotel within walking distance to the legends. Then promptly at 1005 pm I get a knock on my door warning me that the girls were being too loud. She said they had multiple complaints, which I don’t believe, as I hadn’t even seen any other guests on our floor the entire evening. After our experience, I read through previous reviews on multiple sites and found others have had similar experiences.

The lobby is very pretty and very clean. Outdoor sitting area that is equally as pretty with a small outdoor basketball court. I would absolutrly stay here again.

Keeney (1/5): WAY OVERPRICED !!!! - The location It was over priced. Check in was at 4pm they had no clean rooms so I couldn’t check in until after 6 pm. Then they charge $20 for parking. They had no clean towels in the pool area and couldn’t get the volume up on the treadmill. I will never stay here ever again because they charge way too much money!! And the breakfast is no different then at Days INN

Kevin (4/5): - Room was spacious and clean Staff was uninformed and not well trained Couldn’t handle billing problems Dropped a high pet fee on me at arrival after booking with Expedia, hanging up on a Mexican off shore booking service that the clerk barely spoke English and didn’t understand what pet friendly was when asked. Called three hours before checking in to make sure room was pet friendly and was told yes and no mention of fee….and confirmed with Regina that we would be there late ROOM PAID IN FULL. Another layer of management excused the pet fee after much deliberation….. Everyone pointed out what “I” need to do different in the future? How about train your 3rd party booking houses and your staff that when asked if pet friendly to mention the high pet fee….. so truthfully they are not pet friendly
Thomas (6/5): - Pull out bed had a large stain on it. No bedding in room for pull out bed. Had to go to front desk to get it. Pool is cold not heated. Breakfast was ok. Only one waffle maker should be 2.
