The bedding and sheets had stains and tears in them. Hard to communicate when checking in, and found it odd that I had to sign a blank paper with a copy of my id and name on with no details on what it was for.

No coffee ☕️ made in the lobby in the morning. Just the absolute basics without the slightest attempt to do anything special, for the guest. It would have been nice if the room’s AC had been turned on so I didn’t have to enter a humid kiln, on arrival.

The online pictures of the building shows a portico and looks attractive. However, the portico is missing; only the foundations remain. The grassy areas are full of weeds. Not very attractive or welcoming.

Dead bugs present in the hallways as if it’s not being cleaned, it was humid and warm outside of the room and inside when we got in, the air circulation was poor, side door entrance was always open and didn’t close properly, someone (probably housekeeping) tried to enter our room this morning and it woke us up as a result (there should be some system on cleaning rooms after 11 that are being checked out of that day), and the location wasn’t ideal.

But entry is recessed with small door and not well marked. Looks like they need a new remodel outside as inside was newer designs and clean.

Staying that they tried to call and even left a voice message about having to cancel our reservation due to a big group of people that where checking in later. When in fact I did not receive a call nor did I get a voicemail. Phones don’t lie. And they Said I would not be charged. When in fact I was charged. Booking.com called all numbers listed for the facility and every number was none working. The huge trash dumpster in the parking lot is a sight for sore eyes. Staff wasn’t friendly at all. Lied to my face about calling me to notify they had to cancel. Terrible customer service

We double locked the door then at 4 am someone locked on our door after ignoring that the same thing happened again at 5am. My husband got up and yelled- what do you want? We got up and left at 7am . Told the lady at the desk, she said sorry!

This room had a comfortable king bed, big screen with a lot of channels to choose from, clean, well lit outside with security cameras. My other friends stayed in a more expensive hotel and encountered some problems there so I was quite happy with my stayover here. Nothing to report

- Ryan (1/5): Horrible - The room did not match the listing. When asked tj get a room that I had originally booked, staff said it would cost 70 more dollars. The rooms/location would be lucky to fetch 30 dollars a night let alone $130. When I checked in, the card reader was broke and was told they would get me a card later. The experience was so bad that I needed up driving home after the wedding at midnight instead of staying.

- bscholar1 (2/5): Really Bad and Staff Especially - The room was bare bones and not great. It was hard to get it warmed up and it was really super cold when I was there (partially why I was there too- I had to stop for sub zero weather). Yeah the whole town is honestly not welcoming or nice. I stayed one night at this place. I wanted to just wait in their lobby a little (can't remember what for but I just wanted to wait for something) and they were very adament I could not. They acted like I had "cooties" or "germs". As I was getting my bags out of the car, the Front Desk Staff watched my every move and it really stressed me out BAD. The room did not have decent electrical outlets and just was very substandard. But the staff was worse. I felt highly pressured by this staff, and who can have a relaxing night if the staff is pressuring them? I don't recommend the hotel and I don't recommend the town either. Keep on going - if you need a nicer town there is a little town of Winfield, KS south of them which is much nicer (much!). Do skip Arkansas City though - they are a little like El Dorado.

- Kelli (10/5): Love this UPDATED AND SUPER CLEAN MOTEL - This is really a small town gem that’s conveniently close to the city The staff are more than helpful and very courteous and the rooms are 100% updated and super clean This was the first time I have ever felt I was in a clean and sanitary and pest free hotel I’ve ever experienced It’s not super fancy but it’s very modern and hands down the best shower than any hotel in the area They are pet friendly and by far the most relaxing time I’ve had in a while simply because I had my dog with me and felt clean and safe for the first time in a hotel I’ve experienced in a very long time The only thing I wished they had was breakfast But at the great rates I’m not complaining

However, i was provided with 3 different check in times and when I went to check in I waited at the desk for 30 minutes while ringing the bell every 5 minutes and did not receive service. Then my rooms were separated because of this.
