- Carole (8/5): This was the perfect place to stay for our 2-night stay and we would come back again. - The staff was wonderful from the moment we walked in. It was in a more private location but very close to things to do. We really liked the private beachy area so close to the pool and the rooms. It is secluded from the main beach, but a short distance away from the main beach. You could walk to the local grocery store, restaurants etc. if you want. We only stayed for 2 nights, but we could see ourselves coming back for a longer duration. Our room was right off of the pool, and I loved it for 2 nights. Bonus: There is a bird that hangs around the pool when there is not a lot of people around that adds to the charm of the place. We looked forward to seeing him. I would recommend putting a full-length mirror and more hooks to hang things for easy access. (purses, beach bags, hats, cover ups etc.) A little bit more attention could be paid to dusting in the room. The blinds were very dusty, a very easy fix. People using the pool can see into your room as it is only a few steps away, but I knew that before I booked that particular room and that is what we wanted for our 2-night stay. We would book another type of room if we wanted something different. That is a personal preference. There are chase lounge chairs to use at the public beach, which is great, but they are hard to drag back and forth to the main beach area, at least for me, I am an older adult woman. I did it one day but not the second. I would have appreciated an easier option.

- Donna (10/5): Perfect stay - This is an incredible little gem, we were celebrating our anniversary and Gus gave us a complimentary room upgrade which had a spectacular view of the ocean. This is convenient to bars, shops and the free taxi service to St John's pass boardwalk was great. I’m already planning my next stay That we didn’t stay long enough!

- Tino (10/5): Entschleunigen am Golf von Mexico bei The Molloy - Die Lage war bestens, traumhaft direkt am Strand gelegen. Wir hatten Zimmer 1A, perfekte Ausstattung, gute Größe des Zimmers für 2 Personen, tolle Aussicht! Man konnte die Liegen und den Sonnenschirm mit an den Strand nehmen, es gab Strandhandtücher, der Pool war auch sehr schön. Einkaufs- & Restaurantmöglichkeiten zu Fuß (max. 10 min) zu erreichen. Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gepflegte Anlage, vielen Dank, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen es sehr gern weiter! ♥️ Es gab nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat!

Our welcoming manager was great enabling a very early check in Our room was tiny with no space for luggage etc. For a suite there were no utensils, cutlery or crockery. Air con was useless as situated next to the bed so no air circulated. It was 90 degrees for our stay. This didn’t help the sleepless night nor did other residents swimming and playing loud music past 1am which went unchallenged by the night manager. Finally the bathroom was disgusting with the toilet wedged to keep it level and tiles and door frames were dirty. This cost us close on $300 for one night

- Leani (10/5): Making memories at the Molly Treasure Island - Our room was so close the pool and Beach. The room was small but it fit us perfect. Fresh towels always. I let my brand new jacket and lingerie and was contacted immediately....Before I left the area was able to turn around and retrieve my items. Thank you👍🏽 Shortage on toilet paper had to ask for a new role. The one in the bathroom was Short and none under the sink. Not a big deal. Sent my daughter to the office and one was available.

The courtyard around the pool felt a bit cramped with chairs. This could easily be fixed by removing the platform that is roped off and not usable.

- Ursel u Willi (7/5): Kleines Motel direkt am Meer mit einem unglaublich schönen Außenbereich. - Charmante kleine Anlage, die Zimmer liegen um einen kleinen Pool herum. Ausreichend Parkplätze sind vor dem Motel sind vorhanden. Karibik-Feeling unter den Palmen. Ein kurzer Weg durch die Dünen zum herrlichen Strand. Wir haben die Spaziergänge sehr genossen und uns unter den Palmen entspannt. Es sind gute Strandschirme, Stühle, Hängematten und ausreichend Liegen vorhanden. Es ist sogar erlaubt, die Liegen mit an den Strand zu nehmen. Unser Zimmer hatte einen schönen Meerblick. Es hatte eine kleine Küchenzeile. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber gut ausgestattet, Super schöne spektakuläre Sonnenuntergänge - der weitläufige Stand war nicht überlaufen. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Leider war in unserem ersten Zimmer (16) die Betten sehr unbequem, muffig und durchgelegen. Die Klimaanlage war viel zu laut und wir konnten kaum schlafen. Wir haben reklamiert und am nächsten Tag konnten wir aber zum Glück das Zimmer wechseln.

- Departure68342753187 (8/5): A great find right on the beach - We booked a suite for 2 nights , when we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown to our suite. There was a living area/kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom. A double bed and single bed for my daughter. The suite was spotless with everything we needed. The wardrobe only had 4 coat hangers in it / not great for 3 guests. Drawers in the room too for clothes. They could do with a few hooks for clothes/towels as there was nowhere to hang towels apart from over a door. I found it strange we didn’t have any housekeeping during our stay ( but they left an envelope asking for tips for housekeepers in the room) so we ran out of toilet paper and shampoo as we just had 3 little tubes left for our arrival. So I had to go down to reception to ask for some more thankfully it was during day as reception closes at 9/10pm. If you need clean towels you place your dirty towels on a basket for the morning and they will change your towels and place them Back outside your room. The beach is beautiful and kept absolutely spotless with sun loungers, hammocks and chairs. They have 2 BBQ grill for guests to use if they wish. The pool area was clean and the pool was lovely and warm. They offer washing machines for guests which were well used. Im so glad I found this hotel it’s small and spotless and I’d go back again.
- Lina (8/5): Tolles Hotel mit mangelhaftem Zimmer - Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr schön, toller Pool, privater Strandzugang! Tolle Lage und wunderschöner Sonnenuntergang. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Unser Zimmer war definitiv nicht für 2 Personen. Das Bett war viel zu klein. Wir hatten keine Möglichkeit etwas aufzuhängen oder die Koffer aufzustellen. Für den Preis den man pro Nacht bezahlt stand das für unser Zimmer in keiner Relation.

- Abby (9/5): Excellent Location at a Cute/Clean "Motel Resort" - GREAT stay at the Molloy!! The place was quiet, quaint, and clean. The room we stayed in was recently renovated and nice! We had a kitchenette and cooked very basic meals during our stay (the Publix is .3 miles away - VERY walkable). The bed was comfy, bathroom was clean, and the pool was warm. We put our room’s wicker basket outside for towel refill and it was filled with clean towels in the morning! The beach is wonderful - towels, chairs (you have to carry them out to the beach yourself but they are lightweight), AND umbrella were available to us from the front desk!! SO clutch for a short trip. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind, helping us with whatever we needed. The kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the LOCATION make this a spot we would definitely return to again!!! SO minor, but no dresser for clothes, no tissues in the bathroom, and only live cable tv.

- Kelli Brianna (10/5): Great location and price for the perfect getaway! - This is definitely a Florida gem! Family run and just steps from the beach, you cannot beat this location and price. This is the place us Floridians like to get away to and live to support for our “staycations”. I loved that this property is right on the beach!!!! Beautiful sitting area with hammocks and palm trees. Heated pool. And within walking distance to alot of local establishments, grocery store, and gas station.

The pool was sparkling and checked daily. The motel was on the beach. They had BBQ area, hammocks, sandy beach area with chairs. All the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Please stay here and preserve the Florida vibe. I'll be returning. Loved my stay. Nothing.

Sehr schöner und weitläufiger Strand. Super Sonnenuntergänge. Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Teilweise etwas laut in der Küche, wenn unten Wäsche gewaschen wurde. Hat aber nicht sehr gestört. Ein etwas größerer Esstisch wäre schön.

We were able to make family meals with no problem. The one thing that I would recommend is installing a roku/firestick on the TVs so guests can sign into their own streaming services rather than just watch cable. Maybe have a few offered for checkout at the front desk if there's a concern about them getting stolen?

- Patricia (9/5): - Die Lage zum Strand und Meer ist klasse. Auch das Liegen und Schirme zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Zimmergröße für zwei Personen ausreichend Sauberkeit des Bads & des Kühlschrank ließ wirklich zu wünschen übrig (Waschbecken habe ich selbst nochmal sauber gemacht). Geringe Lichtquellen im Schlafzimmer (nur eine Nachttischlampe). Duschbrause war verstopft & es kam kein Wasser (das wurde allerdings direkt behoben ) WLAN Schwierigkeiten (man musste sich ständig neu verbinden oder hat gar nicht geklappt)

You can take the chairs to the beach too Our unit was very clean Staff was knowledgeable & welcoming The washing machines & dryers had limited hours that the guest could use. They were flexible with the time & were accommodating when we asked if we could use them earlier than the posted time. The washer & dryer were free & washed a load quickly.

The location couldn’t be better — it’s right on the beach with no street in between, just steps from the sand and ocean. The views are fantastic, and the whole place feels peaceful and quiet. Everything looks freshly remodeled and beautifully maintained. They’ve truly thought of everything — beach chairs, parking, and plenty of space to relax. You can even bring and enjoy your own meals if you’d like! It’s super convenient and within easy access to great restaurants, shops, and things to do. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be coming back again. A true gem on Treasure Island!

Sehr nette Damen und Herren die sehr zuvorkommend waren, Es gibt Liegen und Sonnenschirme inklusive. Zum Grillen gab es einen super Koffer mit Besteck zum leihen!!! Der Pool war leider nicht geheizt.

The Molloy has the charm of an old-style beach motel,.but updated. Nothing fancy, but all very comfortable. Gus and Diana were very friendly and extremely helpful. Hope to return!
- seanf266 (10/5): Excellent stay - We had a great time here! Stayed the weekend with some friends; both of our rooms were spotless and updated, a/c worked great. The lady checking us in on Friday night was extremely friendly and helpful. Just a. Great vibe all around. I also have to mention the other guests were all like friendly and low key so that kind of added to the great stay. Walking distance to restaurants. Had breakfast at sloppy joes each day and it was great. Only negative is no ice maker so you you have to run out for ice but that won’t stop us from coming back again in the future.

- Paul (4/5): Very disappointing. - The position was ideal. The property is run down and in a poor state of repair. The facilities were adequate but worn out. The plumbing is appalling with the WC system running 24/7, the hot water was sporadic and the water pressure very low. I absolutely hate having to write this review but l feel that l must. The staff were wonderful but lack the support and investment by the owner. The bedroom was dowdy and lack lustre the furniture cheap and flimsy. We were both bitten by bed bugs and on two occasions we had to catch and eject cockroach’s. The swimming pool and the rear areas were nice with access to the beautiful beach. Without investment this establishment will cease to exist in the next five years or less. I am sorry to have to be so honest and l hope the proprietor takes it on the chin and takes stick before it is to late.

- charlenecF5643XK (10/5): Wonderful family reunion! - My son’s family got a room. He comes every year. I booked a room and my brother & I stayed. My grown children came for the day and we had like a family reunion. The Molloy is a great place for a family visit. We all had our private suites and we were able to all get together. We had a lovely time. There was a very nice lady that checked me in. She let us use the games from the desk. It was GREAT!!!

- Melissa (10/5): - Our stay at The Malloy was exactly what I was looking for. Right on the beach and they provide umbrellas and chairs you can use. The kids liked the pool once we came back from the beach. Quiet, peaceful, and the sunset! Our flight got in before check in but the staff allowed us to use all the amenities while we waited on our room.

- sandrine (10/5): - Emplacement au top à proximité de la mer. Grande plage avec très peu de monde. L'hôtel dispose de nombreux transats et espace ombragé pour profiter de l'extérieur. Le personnel est avenant et très sympathique. Les appartement sont très propres. Je conseille fortement.
