Being able to bbq on the provided bbq was great as we had stayed in the little town for a week and helped save money on eating out. We will deginitly stay here again on our trip out next year.

- Randy (2/5): Won’t be back! - Arrived 3:30pm at the “West” location. No office on site, only a “Ring” doorbell and two faded signs. One stating someone would answer the Ring video doorbell….nobody answered, and one with a telephone number…which went to voicemail. About twenty minutes later, I received a call from the owner directing me to the “East” location, saying there would be a key left in room 20. No key in any doors when I arrived. Called again…voicemail again. After 30 minutes, someone arrived to open the room door. The neighbouring room had an adjoining door and every noise from the adjacent room could be heard as if there was no door at all. No sound barrier at all! Ice and snow throughout the property and every doorway is left uncleared. I’ve been working on the road for more than 40 years, and this is only the third time I’ve felt strongly enough about a poor quality stay to mention it in a review.

- Georgina (4/5): - We went to enter our room and other people were already in there. We were sent to another room and there was a second key already in the door. Coming back to the room after going for supper, we found the screen door locked and we had no key for that. Contacted management and was told they could do nothing to help us and that we would have to pry it open with a knife or credit card. Luckily that worked as all of our belongings were in there. Other people in our group arrived for checkin around 4pm and were given unmade, uncleaned rooms. Our Microwave was dirty and so was the coffee maker and pot. Both hand towels were dirty. Fortunately the sheets, bedding and bath towels were clean.

It is a simple family run motel and the owners were absolutely fabulous, we arrived late and they were kind and more than accommodating. The rooms were clean, well equipped with everything you need and the beds were so comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Computer system was down when we arrived for late check in, so slightly inconvenient. Otherwise property was clean and suitable for our quick overnight stay.
