• Carlos (6/5): - El hotel está en medio de la isla (pero en 5-7min andando llegas a las 2 playas). Si llevas maletas grandes la llegada se te hará complicada ya que está cuesta arriba. El hotel está descuidado (como la mayoría de los de la isla) Así que si eres muy escrupuloso, no lo recomiendo. Con el ventilador de techo para dormir es suficiente. El dueño fue muy amable.

• María Luisa (8/5): - El sitio es un poco antiguo,hay lo justo para dormir y asearte, pero el personal es muy amable,nos dejamos olvidado el pasaporte y vinieron corriendo a buscarnos al muelle donde estábamos esperando el ferry
• Gaia (2/5): - In quattro giorni la camera non è mai stata pulita, ci è stato fornito un solo asciugamano a testa ed i letti avevano solamente il coprimaterasso, siamo riuscite a fare la doccia calda solamente una volta, e se le precedenti cose possono essere giustificate dal poco prezzo richiesto, sicuramente non lo è il non riuscire a dormire, poiché essendo la struttura situata vicino la strada che connette due spiagge per quasi tutta la notte è un continuo passare di persone che parlano a voce altissima. I tetti delle strutture sono in lamiera e per tutta la notte vi cadono sopra oggetti dagli alberi che circondano le stanze facendo dei rumori fortissimi. Insomma non so se siamo state noi sfortunatamente ma non consiglierei mai questa struttura.

• G.Petroncini (4/5): - L'unica cosa positiva della struttura è la posizione, a metà tra long beach e coral beach, che si raggiungono in 5/10 minuti a piedi. Come avevamo letto il problema della struttura è la manutenzione. Pulizia e condizioni igenico sanitarie agghiaccianti. La stanza di per sè non è brutta ma è priva di armadio, vi è una perenne puzza di umidità che impregna i vestiti e li rende umidi. Non esiste servizio di pulizia, al massimo puoi avere una scopa per pulire a terra da solo (non siamo di grandi pretese, però soggiornandovi per una settimana intera un giro di pulizia, almeno una volta, sarebbe stato apprezzato). Stessa cosa per il cambio di lenzuola e asciugamani, se non espressamente richiesto non avviene. La doccia fredda è una costante. Wifi inesistente in camera, ma presente solo vicino alla reception. Staff veramente mediocre, con una disponibilità veramente scarsa.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - L'établissement est situé au centre de l'île, à 3 minutes à pied de la plage de Long Beach. Il est donc au calme. La chambre est simple, hygiène juste correcte: on a retrouvé des cheveux sur les plaids, sol encore pousièreux, traces d'insectes écrasés aux murs, poubelle sale ... Nous y sommes restés 6 nuits aucun ménage fait ou proposé. Peu d'entretien des parties communes ( couloirs et jardins).
• Verified traveler (4/5): A bit grim - In this case, I’d say you get less than you pay for - it was a less than average few days. Bathroom was pretty grotty with no hot water. No AC, sheets were clean but barely fit the mattress and we had to ask for a sheet to cover ourselves as they gave us a single the first time around. We had to keep everything off the floor - several times we saw mouse droppings on our doorstep. It’s also a walk from the beach which is fine in the day time, but I wouldn’t recommend it for girls alone at night - keep your wits about you.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - We stayed at Tivoli Inn for 4 days. I must admit that I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews. After staying there I can't believe that people have complained. The room was clean and the staff were helpful despite some communication problem. Great location, two minutes walk to Long Beach and five minutes walk to Coral Bay. Close to shops, lots of restaurants and bars. But far enough from the crazy late night beach partying yet close enough to get there if you want to!

• YVONNE (2/5): Nada recomendable - Eel hotel es carísimo. Pésima relación calidad precio. La papelera la dejaron con todos los pelos del cliente anterior. Si tenía ventilador y la ubicación regular. Ni si quiera incluía desayuno y pague 59€ en un país donde por menos de 30€ te puedes alojar en sitios buenísimos. Tampoco funcionaba el wifi No lo recomiendo para nadar
• jara (2/5): Ubicación incorrecta. Generador ruidoso muy cerca. - Generador muy próximo a las habitaciones, no se podía dormir por el ruido. Techo de chapa, cada semilla que caía de los árboles sonaba mucho y te despertaba. No daban ni toallas, ni papel higiénico. Sábana (solo había bajera) con manchas y agujeros. Recepcionista no habla muy bien inglés. El dueño si habla inglés pero te trata de forma despectiva y condescendiente. En Google aparece prácticamente en la playa, pero está en una loma, tiene la misma ubicación que el "hotel" Tropicana Inn. Camino hasta el "hotel" muy estropeado. El baño consta de un mini lavabo, wc y ducha sin plato (como en casi todos los baños).
• elisa (6/5): Albergo carino - Personale gentile, camere spartane, siamo stati una settimana ma non ci hanno mai puliti la camera e il soffione della doccia era pieno di calcare che era difficile lavarsi. Ma nel complesso siamo stati bene anche perché la vera bellezza è il posto!
• Verified traveler (4/5): Stay away - Very disappointed. I have travelled extensively throughout Southeast Asia on a backpackers budget and never have I attempted to switch hotels mid-stay. ( nothing was left on the island at that point unfortunately) The room we stayed in was so dirty, had lizards, bugs, and was very uncomfortable. At one point my friend and I were even concerned with bed bugs, waking up with very suspicious bites. The room was also a little far from the beaches, and you had to walk through a dark path at night to get home. We couldn’t wait to leave this place.
• Maria Vittoria (4/5): No more there... - During the check in the receptionist ask me 50 rym for deposit. I gave him 50 rym and he asked again 50 rym and say me “you didn’t give me money until now”. I said “Yes I did” but he was insisting. I was sure about that because I counted my money before the check in. In addition he was very unfriendly before and after that. The place is 5 min from Long Beach in the jungle and you can see varans around (we liked that). The room is big also if not very clean it was comfortable. Anyway during the 2 nights we were there we didn’t sleep well because the wind provocated the fall of fruits (each 3-5 min for all nights) from the tree in the iron roof with a big sound...no more there for us...
• Verified traveler (6/5): Molto spartano ma ok - Abbiamo scelto questo alloggio perché uno dei pochi disponibili rimasti sull'isola. Pagato l'equivalente di un 5 stelle a Kuala Lumpur, ci hanno dato un bungalow con bagno privato. Il resort si trova non sulla spiaggia, ma rialzato sul sentiero che va da Long Beach alla spiaggia opposta. La stanza era piccola e non molto curata come in foto. Il bagno vecchio, con doccia non separata. Il caldo umido della giungla si poteva combattere solo con un ventilatore a soffitto, che era però molto rumoroso. Lenzuola sembravano sporche. Il portone era leggermente rialzato, dava quindi possibilità agli insetti di entrare nella stanza. A parte questi aspetti negativi, abbiamo vissuto bene questa esperienza. Isola magnifica, long beach a neanche 5 minuti a piedi. Visto il prezzo (circa 37€ a notte per un bungalow doppio), si potrebbero migliorare i servizi e aggiornare un po' l'arredamento.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Prima hotel - Bij ontvangst een vriendelijke en behulpzame man die ons hielp tijdens de incheckprocedure. Kleine huisjes waar je prima een paar dagen kunt verblijven. In elke kamer hangt een 'plafondventilator' die de kamer enigszins koel houdt. Wij hadden geen warme douche, maar dat maakte gezien de hitte tijdens ons verblijf niet zoveel uit. Binnen 3 minuten sta je op het prachtige strand waar je heerlijk kunt eten en excursies kunt doen. Voor duikliefhebbers kun je hier goed vertoeven. Voor gemiddeld 20 euro kun je al een prachtige duik maken!
• Hannah (4/5): Ants all over the room! - Arrived dripping in sweat after not being able to find the hotel, which is badly sign posted and at the top of a hill. Toilet was leaking slightly and the room was covered in what can only be described as a colony of ants. Not only this but we bought a snorkelling trip from the hotel, we were sent down to a shop at the beach were our tour was supposedly leaving from and the shop was closed. Very disappointed.
• Hafeez (2/5): Bad hotel service and terrible cleanliness - I was given a room different from the one I paid for. No housekeeping every morning. Dirty room, toilet and hallways. Too much noise during the day from the renovation works. Located too far off the beach.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Laut Google ist das Hotel Nähe vom Strand. Ist aber direkt neben dem Tropicana Inn bzw sind das Tropicana inn und das Tivoli Inn dieselbe Unterkunft. Räum sind feucht und riechen dementsprechend.

• Tomasz (2/5): never again - Except the reception staff, everything else was awful. We stayed four nights and they never cleaned the room (they say that we need to be here to prevent stealing in the room). The room was not clean when we arrived. There was no restaurant, no breakfast and no control at all of the hotel during the night. So we had people who stay several nights drinking and yelling in front of the rooms all night long and we had to ask them to leave in the middle of the night because the hotel didn't do anything about it. For the price you can find a better hotel for sure.

• sivasan (8/5): Staying in Trivoli... - Staying in Trivoli Hotel is ok. Only with fan. Aircond is so bloody expensive. RM 50 per person for one day. I stay 6 person in a room. So if I want the aircond...need to pay Rm 300 extra for one person. Everyone don't get one unit each. Simply too much. Place was clean. Should keep a broom and dust collector in every rooms. None. 300 - 400 meters to the beach. No internet service.

J'ai apprécié que l'hôtel soit accessible à pieds depuis long beach mais en meme temps qu il en soit suffisamment eloigné pour qu'on entende pas le bruit. Seul petit bémol : pas.de.wifi dans la.chambre mais a la réception qui est assez lent...

• Pauline (4/5): - Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cette hotel car tout était complet sur l'île internet. L'hôtel se situe à 5 minutes de long beach dans la jungle. Le chemin pour y parvenir est jonché de détritus et la nuit il faut prévoir une lampe torche. La chambre est sale avec des serviettes tachées et des lits spartiates. L'accueil déplorable ( le réceptionniste voulait finir de manger avant de nous faire notre check-in) . Je vous déconseille l'hôtel sauf urgence et pas plus de 2 nuits ...
• Verified traveler (4/5): 海は凄いきれいでしたがホテルは... - とにかく部屋の中の虫が凄いです。 夜になるとシーリングファンの影響で？ベット一面が蚊と小ハエで埋め尽くされていました。 山の中にあるホテルなのでしょうがないですがバスルームに手のひらサイズの蜘蛛が出ました。 シャワーは水しか出ません。 また水圧も強くないです。 山の中のホテルなので虫は、しょうがないかもしれませんがバスタオルにダニみたいな虫が沢山ついていました。 南京虫（トコジラミ）は見当たらなかったので大丈夫だと思います。 またホテル名が２つありトロピカーナインと同じ建物です。 島自体が観光地として整っていないので、しょうがない部分もありますが次回は違うホテルに宿泊したいです。
• Verified traveler (2/5): Décevant - L'hôtel n'est pas facile d'accès avec bagages en main. Hôtel se situant en plein milieu de la forêt. Très humide, sans climatisation et énormément de moustiques ! Il faut s'armer avec un spray anti moustique sinon Le séjour devient vite invivable. Nous n'avions pas d'eau chaude non plus. Seul point presque positif c'est qu'il se situe à quelques mètres de Long Beach (environ 5min).
• Verified traveler (2/5): Terribile!!! - Una cosa terribile, mai vista! Condizioni igienico/sanitarie peggio delle favelas! Una truffa bella e buona! Allo stesso prezzo che consiglia questo sito(e ci vuole coraggio!) potete trovare qualsiasi altro alloggio sull'isola!
• Anne (6/5): Disappointing - We wanted to stay two days more in thé Perenthians and the only hotel still available was this one. It was not our first choice, but the hotel is well located between two main beaches, which is a good point. However, around the rooms you have engine and the garden is not finished which is suite disappointing. The staff is not very helpfull as well. No towels provided.
• gato (6/5): 島にある普通のホテル - ペルヘンティアンにあるホテルなので、クオリティは高くないです。寝るだけのホテルです。 ホテルスタッフはフレンドリーで親切でした。 昼前に到着さんですけど、すぐにチェックインができるように掃除してもらえました。 1番の不満はホテル名がtropical innという名前で地図もずれていたので通り過ぎたり炎天下の中、1時間ほど歩き回りました。 ペルヘンティアンなので水シャワーしかないのと、掃除した後で部屋の床が乾いていなかったです。ベッドも少し硬かったです。 特に細かいところが気にならなければ泊まれるホテルだと思います。ロケーションだけ注意してください。 A hotel staff was friendly and let us check in earlier even though we arrived before noon. Beds weren't soft enough and floor in the room wasn't dry because it was right after they cleaned the room up. (Wanted it to be wiped and dry) The shower was only cold(I think all hotels in perhentian only have cold shower) Be careful the hotel name is actually "Tropicana Inn" not Tivoli. We'd been lost and walking around about an hour to find the hotel.
• Sherif (2/5): Worst Experience Ever - WORST experience ever, value for money is ZERO, no toilet paper, no hot water, people at the reception are very aggressive. wrong info provided when we wanted to book the boat back to the city (said u can just show up without calling the company which was wrong we should call one day ahead). not helpful at all. Room service - they never heard of such a thing.
• Abdul Rahman (6/5): Convenient for Backpackers. - Tivoli Inn = Tropicana Inn (They still use "Tropicana" for now) We were staying there for 3D2N (for room with 6 bed & fan). For us the room quite good for the price that we were offered (from Hotels.com). All units were recently renovated (no problem with room cleanliness). Satisfied with the facilities provided (24hrs electricity; although there is no hot water in bathroom & WiFi only at lobby). This hotel is suitable for backpackers as you have to climb through the hill (access to hotel) & located in the middle of 2 attraction points (Coral Bay - Long Beach). Not suite for family stay (if you bring the elderly). No restaurants around here...so you need to go either Coral Bay or Long Beach (just 2-3 mins walk for both direction).

• Murali Krushn (2/5): Worst & Pathetic stay ever - This was the worst & pathetic stay ever. Lemme explain one by one without any miss: 1. This is more of a hostel than hotel. 2. The photos shown in the website are completely different from the actuals. 3. Reception is not always open & no customer service. 4. The staff would behave as if they are giving the stay for free. 5. Wifi is only in the lobby as mentioned but it doesn't work most of the time. 6. In the photos it shows about the facilitate like TV but none of the rooms have a TV. 7. Bathrooms are clogged & flush doesn't work, when asked the staff they asked us to manage with the one available a few yards away. 8. There are 2 fans(wall mounted) available but the swing doesn't work. 9. Towels were provided which were stinking. 10. The location shown in the map is different. 11. Per the description it has sea view but none of them has it. And it's not possible even as it is deep inside.
• Daniel (2/5): Awful hotel with overpriced room and dirty - This was the worst place we stayed in over a month in Malaysia and perhaps the worst I've ever stayed. The room was filthy and the staff were very rude and unpleasant and very unhelpful over a missing earring incident. It was overpriced and for the same amount of money you can stay at much nicer places on Coral Bay and even Perhentian Besar, where we moved to for our final few days. If you are on a real budget perhaps the MR 30 dorm rooms are OK but £60 GBP per night for the Tivoli Inn was ludicrous. Extremely disappointing somewhere like this operates on such a stunning island.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, but around the hotel were a lot of signs saying that they were not responsible for anything that happened, which was unnerving. There was a lack of wifi for the entirety of my visit, instead there was a sign which basically said that because the wifi is free, if it stops working then you have to just deal with it.
• Li (2/5): Bad experience for a holiday trip - I would NEVER recommend this resort to any of my friends or family.First of all,the price of this resort is twice time expensive than other same standard hotel in small perhentian island.I was charged for around 280 per night without air conditioner and hot water.Which I can get a same or better facilities room in other resort with sea view for around 120 only.Second ,THEY DONT CHANGE BED SHEET properly.when I lay up on the bed,I find many stain ,tiny sand and some dirts on the bed.It make me feel so disgusting and uncomfortable to sleep on it.The third thing is they don't have any signboard to show u where it is located,so I have to find so hard to get into this resort when I first time visited this island,and they don't pickup their phone when I call for so many times.The last thing is this resort is not in a bad location,it's is located far from the seaside which is in the jungle.You have to walk so far from the port to get to this resort,which other resort just located near the seaside only.It is very dangerous to walk back to this resort especially at night ,they is no light for the road to walk back to the resort.And I could only rate 4 out of 10 for the service they provide.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Good location - We were fortunate to get a free upgrade for the first two nights. The room was ok, spacious and clean although a little tired. Very expensive for what you get but electricity is expensive on the island and they have to send linens to the mainland for cleaning. Great location right between both beaches and very quiet
