• R Collins (10/5): A perfect stop in Campbell River - Lovely little apartment with everything you need onsite. Karen was so friendly and sorted out a little blip right away. You are well positioned to drive into town and to everything else you might need. The sea is just across the road from the property.

• Celeste (9/5): We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again. - Excellent location with well appointed cabin that facilitated use of the kitchen facilities. Loved that it was nice and clean and in great shape - appeared recently updated. While there were 2 fans in the cottage, it did get quite hot. Having an extra fan or one on a stand to help move air thru the unit would have been nice. Also a king size bed would be perfect.

Convenient location for exploring Campbell River, Elk Falls, Strathcona Park and trips to the islands. Only drawback was a over sensitive smoke detector which made frying salmon a noisy experience!

• Avalon (10/5): Wonderful, kind, warm and friendly home away from home - Everything about the driftwood by the sea is amazing. Perfect location, short walk into town plus the beach is right across the road. The owners are beyond kind and helpful and have made it feel like a second home. With cooking facilities for those nights you need a home cooked meal!

• Natania (9/5): Clean, comfy cottage with good facilities - Really liked having cooking facilities, comfy lounge/ dining area and seating outside on the veranda (amongst beautiful hanging baskets) The cottage was spacious and clean.There was lots of local information available in the cottage which was helpful. Appreciated the tea, coffee, creamer etc. provided in the cottage. Karen the host was very friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities on site was a bonus and Karen even gave us laundry capsules for free. Parking was right outside the cottages. Lovely to see deer wandering around the site every morning and evening. Great location right across the road from the beach and a few minutes drive from the attractions of Campbell River. The shower in the cottage is extremely small The road outside was busy therefore noisy. However once inside the cottage it wasn't an issue and the bedroom was at the back of the cottage therefore quiet.

• Ariya (8/5): A Great Comfortable Stay - The first I liked a lot about the cottage is the designated living area with a dining table. This makes our almost-a-week stay much more comfortable. I also really enjoyed the ocean view, partially obstructed however, from the dining table. I also found the kitchenware to be surprisingly in very good shape, compared to many other vacation rentals I stayed at. The cottage is also clean and has enough room for a moderate amount of luggage. The location is great as it's in town and doesn't take long to get to grocery stores, restaurants, and EV chargers. The no-contact check-in was also straightforward. The plumbing was quite loud. We only noticed this when our next-door neighbor turned on the water in the morning or at night. The shower fits one person, but even that it's a bit of a tight squeeze for a larger person.

• Carol (9/5): Karen was an amazing hostess, and the little cottage was very cozy and quiet which was awesome. - Karen had left the cottage open for us to do a self check in, which was very convenient. She was an amazing hostess and even sent a nice text message to me on the morning of our arrival date. The coffee, and cream and chocolates were a nice surprise. The cottage was very cozy and Karen was so welcoming, and told us to let her know if we needed anything. Having free access to the barbecue on site was really nice too. The bed was cozy too. And we loved that the beach was across the street, where we could sit and watch the cruise ships pass by and just sit and watch the water. Very relaxing. I wish that the shower was a little bit more roomy, but it worked and the water was hot and it had good water pressure. Air conditioning would have been a bonus, but there were two fans that helped cool the room down and there were no mosquitoes, so we could leave the door open to let the breeze in while we were in the living room. The highway in front of the hotel was quite busy and noisy, but you did not hear the traffic from inside the cottage.

• Arlene (9/5): Comfortable little apartment unit across from the seashore in Campbell River - The unit included a kitchenette that had all the essentials including a real stove. The linens and pillows were great. The bed was really comfortable. Very clean. Karen was wonderful, always at the ready to assist or respond to your requests. Karen also stocked the mini fridge with cream and oat milk and chocolates.

The Cabin itself was nice & clean with lots of Towels & anything else one might need.Restaurants were close by. There was a gap under the front door big enough I could put my thumb under. If you wanted to use the Coffee Pot you had to unplug the Microwave because the top plug- in outlet was a Light Switch.They could have put a light switch on the inside wall beside the sink.The Shower was way too small. One could hardly move in it. The Cold water tap in the Kitchen leaks.Tried to get a hold of the Staff a few times during the day but no one answer the Office door.

Looking forward to my 2023 vacation trip. - Quietness, well installed windows and walls. sound proof and maintain the heat all day and night. The appliances, kitchen utensils, bedding, toiletry, leaving space setting with all available channels on TV.. excellent stay. Had no cardboard recycling set up. Had to bring all my cardboards back home to get it recycled.

The camp fire buckets as well as the cruise ship schedule was a nice touch. The location was convenient and had plenty of options around it. Would recommend this place to stay.

The cottage is very well equipped, and the BeeKind toiletries and little touches like a couple of LindtDor chocs and a bottle of mineral water each, every day, set the mood. Karen is very friendly, enthusiastic about her area, and helpful. The kit for evening fires on the beach is a lovely touch.

Mais il n'est dit nulle part que ces cottages fleuris sont situés sur une vaste aire de camping caravaning, au bord d'une route très fréquentée. Faire 8000 km pour se retrouver dans un camp de camping cars c'est le comble!

The interior was like new,really good standard with everything you need,all very comfortable and good sized rooms.Very comfortable bed and good shower and bathroom and kitchen. A really great place to stay and really enjoyed it and wished we had more than a few days.Lots of places in town to walk around and local elk falls only a short drive,definitely stay here for any visit
