• Peter (9/5): Prachtig gelegen aan het Kawaguchi meer. - Het ontbijt. Grandioos elke ochtend weer. Super behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel en zeer praktisch een shuttlebus naar het station. Tikkeltje ‘run down’, maar je kijkt er makkelijk overheen.

• S (8/5): Nice stay. - The tatami room was comfortable for our group. The breakfast was amazing, very extensive. The location was convenient for sightseeing, walking distance to the lake. The bath was nice with view of Mount Fuji. They even had a Japanese bathrobe for kids. On our last day they brought us to the station even though it was afternoon already and there is no shuttle to the station at that time. Nice surprise. Before we left we saw a centipede in the room. Everything is quite outdated, but it was acceptable.

• Anthony (5/5): - Le personnel est très accueillant et prévenant (presque trop lorsque l'on est pas habitué). L'hôtel est à côté du lac et proche de zones permettant de louer des vélos. Il y a un observatoire permettant de voir le Mont Fuji en haut de l'hôtel et on peut aussi voir le mont depuis les bains publiques. L'hôtel est ancien et est resté "dans son jus". La moquette de la chambre n'était pas de première jeunesse et un peu tachée (malgré avoir été certainement nettoyée). La salle de bain et la chambre était un peu petite mais la présente d'un canapé (particulièrement vieux aussi) et d'une table prenant pas mal de place n'aide pas. Finalement cet hôtel a surtout pour lui sa localisation mais sans plus comparé à d'autres hôtels que nous avons pu faire au Japon.

• Timothé (10/5): Vintage - Al escoger habitación estilo Japonés, la vista hacia el lago es hermosa 🩷, el personal es muy amable y atento nos ayudaron a mandar maletas a nuestro siguiente hospedaje sin ningun problema, el desayuno Japonés estuvo delicioso la verdad,la vista al monte fuji es desde el onsen, te dan amenidades de buena calidad, también cuentan con zonas de juego, cine, etc... además del onsen Japonés. Puntos a considerar, es un hotel vintage, estilo cabaña Suiza, así que no es moderno, pero los baños lo son en general, el piso es de alfombra y los muebles de madera, que han pasado por los años se ve el desgaste.

Personel bardzo uprzejmy, pyszne śniadania. Bezpłatny transfer ze stacji. Onsen duży, odrestaurowany. Ogromna ilość kurzu, pokój jest niedokładnie sprzątany, zdjęcia w galerii. Wybraliśmy obiekt ze względu na onsen z widokiem na fuji ( sugestia zdjęć z booking) a w praktyce okazało się że onsen damski ma zaklejony do połowy widok szybą mleczną więc góry nie było widać z pozycji onsen.

• Radek (8/5): A decent accommodation near the lake with great facilities and Japanese-style breakfast. - Japanese-style accommodation, shabu-shabu breakfast was a great experience, great facilities, and quite location, not too far from the centre. Staff, especially in the evening, spoke almost no English potentially causing issues.

The panoramic onsen was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The staff was also very kind and helpful, including the shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station upon request. The property is quite old and the cleanliness of the room was disappointing for the price and overall expectations. There was visible dust, stained bed covers, and several mosquitoes in the room, as well as dead mosquitoes stuck on the walls and ceiling. Unfortunately, this affected the overall comfort of the stay quite a lot.

Der (geschlechtergetrennte) Onsen-Bereich bietet einen wundervollen Blick auf den Fuji und verfügt über eine Sauna. Das Frühstück wird im grossen gemeinsamen Speisesaal liebevoll zubereitet. Auch wenn dieses Hotel (ausser im Onsen) keinen direkten Blick auf den Fuji bietet, hat es doch eine sehr gute Lage und ist vom Bahnhof auch zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Hotel ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und könnte etwas Makeover (v.a. farblich) vertragen.

The staff were lovely and very helpful, and the views were beautiful. The rooms had no noise proofing so we could readily hear noise from next door. The room we had was a bit shabby, and the bathroom was a little difficult to shower in, as you had to get into the small bath for this. The shower curtain had some stains on it which was off putting

• Gaia (10/5): I really loves it, would reccomend - I loved staying in the hotel! Since the city is rather small, it is close to everything. The hotel is right in front of the beautiful lake! The view from my room was amazing and I could see Fuji clearly. The people were nice and helpful and there is a shuttle from the station to the hotel when you arrive as well as ones to the station a few times in the morning. There are good amenities and the free onsen is a nice touch after a long day. While it shows that it is not a new hotel, everything was clean and comfortable. The beds are more on the softer side, for those who mind.

The public bath was clean, modern, and overlooked Mt. Fuji, which was amazing. Breakfast was so delicious! There was a big brown splatter stain in our room which was strange. Felt like things should be cleaner or more recently updated considering how expensive of a stay it was.

• Meredith (10/5): Comfortable stay with an amazing breakfast in a beautiful location - Our stay at Kawaguchiko Hotel was our favorite thing about our trip to Japan. The location was excellent and we were able to use the shuttle from Kawaguchiko Station both to and from the hotel. The staff always friendly and the room was huge and very clean with modern restroom features. The onsen was perfect but above all the breakfast was remarkable. It was our favorite meal in Japan. We were lucky to be able to stay two night and both breakfasts were large and delicious. We would absolutely recommend staying here and plan to come back as soon as we can! The pictures didn’t quite match the current operations of the hotel (there was no dinner when we were there) but that was not a deal breaker for us.

• Patrick (10/5): Das Hotel Kawaguchiko hat uns sehr gut gefallen, vorallem das sehr feine japanische Frühstück! - Das Hotel Kawaguchiko ist ein super Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage am Kawaguchiko See ist herrlich. Das geschlechtergetrennte Onsen bietet einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Mount Fuji. Auch gibt es ein Observatorium, um den Mount Fuji zu bestaunen. Es gibt einen Billard-Tisch. Der Höhepunkt war das japanische Frühstück, das mit viel Liebe vorbereitet wird und sehr sehr lecker ist. Es gibt nichts Negatives zu sagen.

• Elena (10/5): Perfect days with the best view - Everything, we loved the place and the retro atmosphere, our Japanese room was big and comfortable, with a beautiful view. The Japanese breakfast was delicious and the staff was speaking English and always very kind. We loved the public bath and being so close to the lake, we would have happily stayed longer and surely would recommend to someone who likes a bit of a traditional yet personal and elegant touch. At the breakfast restaurant you don't have coffee, but you can take it before or after in the lobby Cafe, which also has cakes. Also the restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner which is a pity as the view is so pretty, but you have several options for food around and take away.

• Zolti (8/5): - המלון מאד ישן, אבל יש בו קסם. הצוות מבוגר, מדברים שם בטלפון עתיק שאפילו בשוק פשפשים לא תמצאו, אבל אפשר למצוא במלון חוויה יפנית אמיתית. ישנו בחדר בסגנון יפני, מזרונים על הריצפה וכיסאות נמוכים עם נוף מדהים לאגם. (יש גם חדרים רגילים) ארוחת הבוקר יפנית מסורתית, טעימה ומאד מעניינת. יש במלון אונסן למי שאוהב, ותצפית להר פוג'י. יש גם מכונות כביסה ומייבשים.. אבל בעיקר יש יחס מיוחד וחוויה יוצאת דופן.
