• Alessandra (10/5): excellent - I absolutely recommend Mido Hostel in Jeju! The location is perfect: very central, just a short walk from the market and close to many restaurants and attractions, including Olle Trail 7. The structure itself is beautiful, cozy, and very well maintained. The rooms and common areas are quiet, clean, comfortable, and tastefully furnished, making the stay even more enjoyable. What really makes the difference, though, is the amazing staff: everyone is incredibly kind, welcoming, smiling and supportive. A special thank you goes to the manager, Jaehoon Yoo, who speaks fluent English and truly goes above and beyond to make sure guests have the best possible experience. He gave me excellent recommendations about the surrounding area, places to visit, and things to do in Jeju. This is definitely a place I would happily return to, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jeju! Paola nothing

Good location, neighbourhood felt safe. The only minor issue was the mattress protector, which made the sheets move around a little during sleep.

• Marisa (9/5): Very clean and cosy hostel - Really nice hostel in the south of Jeju. Easy to get to using the airport limousine bus and close to lots of restaurants. Close to the Olle Trail (route 7 stunning!!). The facilities are nice and very clean - even have hairdryer and straighter for the female dorm. Very social and having the bar/cafe area attached is perfect. Nothing, wish I stayed longer :)

(a few steps away from the Olle Market) -Not necessarily a con, but it does lend itself towards being Korean national (which is great!); this might make it hard for a solo backpacker to have social contact with others.

• Kristýna (7/5): Good - Nice hostel with multiple rooms, comfortable beds with heating mattresses, socket and light for each bed. Clean bathroom. Good breakfast, you get one free small beer every day. The lady at the reception was clearly very bothered by me coming there. I had to ask for everything. Didnt give me any information, didnt show me the way to the room (even when it is not clear after the reception area). When I asked about laundry she just gave me information on the piece of paper and didnt say anything else. And her English was good, so no idea what was her issue. The rest of the staff was really nice.

Big, comfy, spacious and clean rooms, beds, bathrooms, bed linen, towels etc. Coffee is not included with breakfast and needs to be paid for separately. This was an unpleasant surprise. Breakfast otherwise was OK. There were no glasses to have wine in the kitchen, only cups. First world problems I know lol

Really appreciated! Nothing, for the price it was honestly really good and the location was close to some spots like Olle market and lots of nice restaurants. The bus stop is really near by foot and I was able to get everywhere by bus as a solo traveller on a budget. Great experience.

• Jacobshao (10/5): My stay at Mido Hostel was an exceptional experience with its prime location, impeccable cleanliness - I recently spent two unforgettable nights at Mido Hostel during my summer trip to Jeju Island, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice of accommodation! From the moment I arrived, everything was simply perfect. The location is ideal – just a short distance from some of the most beautiful natural attractions, including waterfalls and parks, making it easy to explore the area without having to travel too far. The cleanliness of the hostel is impeccable. The rooms and common areas were spotless, which is incredibly important, especially when traveling. One of the highlights of my stay was the comfort of the bed. After long days exploring the island, it was wonderful to come back to a cozy and comfortable room. The bedding was clean and fresh, and the pillows provided excellent support.

• Stephen (9/5): Hostel which has everything. - Location was good, approximately 4 minutes walk from the number 282 bus stop to Jeju Intercity bus terminal. The dormitory room was big, privacy curtain, 2 electric sockets, en-suite 2 toilets and showers, security locker. Breakfast was good, bread, toast, pasta, potato, rolls, orange juice etc. Restaurant served meals and the first beer was free. Everywhere was spick and span. Everything was great.

The parking is confusing because you're not allowed to park on the street, but the staff was very patient in explaining where I could go and giving me tips for driving on the island. They offer you free beer too! (I don't drink, but that was a sweet touch.) I stayed in the female dormitory and it was very private. And the location was great, super close to convenient stores. I think I only had issues with the parking. It took me three attempts to find where I was allowed to park, and had to rely on the staff to direct me. Once it was figured out though, it was okay.

• Cyrielle (10/5): Mido Hostel : the place to be in Seogwipo! - Everything was perfect :)) The staff is super nice! I had a job interview late in the night and they found a quiet room for me... Also, the common areas and rooms are verry well thinking! You can easely feel like home! Finally, the breakfast was really good and this hostel is near the Seogwipo market which is super convenient if you are a street food lover!

• Swee (10/5): Seogwipo was a super nice area to stay, located at the South side of Jeju. There are also plenty of attractions and food - I was recommended to stay here for my trip by a friend! Mido Hostel was super cozy, the room is so spacious despite my luggage was unable to squeeze in to the locker, there was so much space for me to even leave it beside my bed without blocking the walkway :) The owner and staffs are super friendly and nice to talk to! Thank you for the welcome drinks as well 😄🫶🏼 Very clean and comfortable for someone picky about hygiene, my first stay at a Hostel was superb, thank you Mido Hostel Owner & Staffs for making my stay a enjoyable experience 😇 During summer there maybe some mosquitoes but I think other than the everything is super clean!! The towel provided can even be change daily and there’s breakfast included too ☺️

Our room was exactly what we wanted- clean, comfortable beds and larger than expected. The location was central and easy to get to and the area was quiet at night. There were opportunities to meet other guests which we were sad to miss out on due to our other plans. The set up of the parking lot meant either we would have parked others in or been parked in ourselves- this ended up being a non-issue as there is a public lot down the street where we parked for free!

• Patricia (9/5): I would happily stay here again. - Rooms were spacious, great hostel vibe, everything clean, and staff was helpful and kind. Loved the front room/bar area for coffee and beer and hanging out. My only gripe for this hostel is that they have a fantastic courtyard and rooftop, but they shut both down early. That means if you want to visit with your new friends, you have to go elsewhere. I totally get that it provides a better sleeping atmosphere for those surrounding the courtyard and allows staff to leave earlier, but maybe they could keep it open a little later.

• Robert (6/5): Pleasant - Mido Hostel is very clean. The building and space is really nice, there is a lot of ‘chill’ area (cafe, common area downstairs and rooftop). Also the dorm room is really spacious and bed and bathroom were nice and comfortable. The location is good. The center of Seogwipo and busses are nearby. I stayed at a lot of hostels and I have learned that you have to be lucky with timing and meeting nice people. I experienced a weird vibe in the hostel as a foreigner. There were a lot of Koreans and a lot of groups. During the late afternoon/evening the hostel was really packed with large groups of Korean people. I didn’t get why and it was really hard to meet other travelers that way. I did not really felt comfortable. I read a review of someone else saying the same. I guess this hostel or place is maybe really popular by Korean friend groups?

• Joon (10/5): I‘m a solo traveler and I‘ve only stayed there to sleep but I really liked the atmosphere of the hostel and I would defi - The hostel was really great for the price I‘ve paid! The bed was more comfortable than the other hostels and it was always clean (facilities). There was a nice lounge with comfy chairs and at night there were a lot of locals (Koreans in their 20s) It is also located close to the major bus stops. The locker was big enough for one backpack and maybe if you have a small suitcase . Unfortunately one of the guests kept slamming the door and always put the aircon on really cold temperature but that‘s a problem when you share space woth others.

• SEUNG OH (10/5): 두번째 방문입니다 - 혼성 도미토리에서 묵었는데 첫날 밤에 하수구냄새같은게 올라와 한동안 힘들었습니다. 화장실에서 나는건 아닌것같은데 다행히 둘째날에는 괜찮더군요. 이외에는 시설물 관리도 잘되어있고 숙소도 청결합니다. 투숙객들간에 매너도 잘 지켜지고, 공용공간이 잘 마련되어있어 휴식을 취하기 좋습니다. 서귀포 주요 관광지와도 가까워서 다음 여행에도 또 예약할듯해요

• Verified traveler (10/5): 서귀포 올레시장 근처 좋은 호스텔 - 평가와 가격이 메리트가 있어 선택했습니다. 대중교통 접근성도 좋아서 차가 없어도 가기 좋을거같아요. 근처 올레시장이 걸어서 2분 거리에 있어서 유명한 맛집들도 많고요. 가벼운 짐과 가벼운 마음으로 제주를 방문할때 정말 딱 좋은 곳입니다. 8인실에 묵었는데 서로 배려도 잘 해주시고, 규칙이 있지만 어렵게 숙지 하지 않아도 어떤것들만 조심하면 될지 눈에 보입니다. 다음에 또 갈 기회가 되면 방문할께요.

• Verified traveler (10/5): 재방문 의사 있습니다. - 구도심과 가까워 도보여행하기 좋고 안전합니다. 패티오가 잘 되어있어 휴식을 취하기 좋았습니다. 방음이 잘 되지 않지만 11시 이후 소등이 잘 지켜져 자는데는 불편이 없었습니다. 다만 다른 후기에도 있듯.. 하수구에서 올라오는 냄새?는 좀 관리하셔야 할듯합니다.
• 날개 (10/5): 좋은 숙소였습니다 - 일단 주변에 올레시장이 있고 교통편이 편리하였습니다. 저녁마다 영화를 틀어줘서 맥주한캔과함께 감상하는 영화도 즐거웠습니다. 다만 사람들이 많이 이용하다보니 친구들과함께 도미토리에 온사람들이 소등시간 이후에도 떠들어서 잠들기 힘들때도 있었습니다. 그외 모든시설은 깨끗하고 좋습니다
