Guest Reviews
- Tom (8/5): Comfortable stay - Spacious living area Smoke alarm triggered by toaster and oven
- Natasha (7/5): - Fab location, efficient space , clean enough, but did smell of dogs , luckily we like dogs so it was fine .
I'd stay here again
- Sheena (8/5): It was exactly everything we needed for our short stay and and a great place to wind down at the end of the day. - Ideal location with proximity to the station, buses, beach and town. Simplicity of layout easy to keep clean and tidy. Good hot shower.
Great oven and hob with instruction booklets readily available.
Thank you
- Eliza (1/5): Bad - It was lovely decorated Having contacted the owners, absolutely no apologises at all just accusations that we lied about the water issue. Avoid if you have children. There are unsuitable steep stairs and nothing to protect them from going down the stairs. There was absolutely no hot water at all that had freezing cold showers. Both mornings, it felt dirty. Thick grime around bath surround. There is no hot water for the dishes.
Limescale in the kettle big thick chunks of it.
Parking was an absolute nightmare needed to reverse down a really tight driveway, which was down the side of someone house. Absolutely nowhere to turn the car because the cars are crammed in. It's hard to find is down a long drive in an old building behind lots of houses you feel like your in someones shed.
Stairs were not described as steep, and families would not be able to get up to them they were dangerous. No stairgates or gates to restrict animals. As soon as you start the oven to cook, the fire alarm repeatedly goes on, and you have to stand there waving a towel repeatedly you cant stop it. The whole experience was stressful. The hot water was a real issue and we were so disappointed. Cheap and not cheerful.
- Dean (10/5): Great Location with Parking - lovely space to stay, with everything we needed.
car parking space was a bonus for the area.
- Lorenc (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dawid (5/5): Regretfully we wouldn’t wish to return to this property. - Location good, near rail station. Quiet area. Heating efficient. Uncomfortable bed. Could have generally been cleaner.
- Ann (7/5): cosy and convenient) - quiet location
convenient for worthing shops an restaurants bathroom was nice but no anti slip mats or grab rails
- Philip (10/5): Comfortable, modern, high-spec self-contained flat perfect for the station, WFH, and a small pet. - A beautiful, spacious, self-contained apartment that was perfect for a week's get away with my small dog where I was also able to WFH easily.
The facilities were great - bathroom + kitchen - with comfortable, modern furnishings in the bedroom and lounge.
While it was extremely close to the station, being self-contained down a small driveway meant a good amount of privacy and quietness.
- Richard (9/5): Superb - The apartment is in a great location and comes with an allocated parking space. The key was left in a key box so we did not meet the owner... But communication was excellent. The living space is bright and airy and the kitchen area had all we needed. We were very happy with our stay. The sofa bed in the lounge was not the most comfortable but it was okay for a couple of nights.
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (7/5): Great location. Although near train station could not hear them. Had a relaxing time as close to Wor - Location. Free parking. Spacious quite area. We didn't use the towels provided as they didn't seem clean or fresh enough.
The cooker top was a bit tricky to work and the smoke alarm went off when just making toast in toaster.
- Dorne (6/5): nice place but needs a good clean - location, room layout and facilities overall cleanliness
- Kasha (6/5): Good location - Great location, very responsive host, the place was clean. We visited during the heatwave, and the place was very hot with no fans available. The washing machine is mouldy, and I only realised it after taking the washing out as it was smelly. There's also mould in the bathroom and no matress protector in the bedroom under the sheet.
- Sioban (7/5): Good 1 bed apartment for a short stay - It was a lovely place, easy to access, great bathroom and kitchen, comfortable living area, had all the basics. Well decorated and roomy. Good stay. The bed and pillows need to be replaced. They are old and uncomfortable. The main bed needs a proper mattress, pillows, new sheets, bedding, etc.
- Sukhdeep (10/5): Very nice and private . Spacious - We liked the spacious . Light and airy room . Very cosy and felt private away from everything - nice option of ope inf balcony doors in hot summer weather
- Lianne (7/5): Nice apartment. Probably too residential for a relaxing stay as you can hear neighbours and dogs barking at all sorts of - It was a nice size fairly big, amenities were good and was a good base. The property does need a bit of an update. It’s very worn in places .
- Eddy (1/5): Stay clear, dog hairs all over the sofa bed amongst other issues - Good location We stayed in southcourt last weekend and there were various issues we encountered.
Toilet lock didnt work
Smoke alarm kept going off
Lots of Dog/cat hair on sofa(one of our guests are allergic to dogs and the venue says it is pet free)
Stale smoke smell
Stale damp smell as you walk up the stairs
Red stain on sofa
Bedroom sheets smell
Windows are thin, can hear everything outside
Towels smell
Cobwebs in entrance
Shower head flops around
Bath was dirty
Plug lets water down the drain.
Considering how much money we paid for the stay this is extremely disappointing!
One of the guests also suffered quite badly with the pet allergy.
It appears that basic cleaning and health & safety procedures have not been followed.
- Lindsey (7/5): A spacious modern apartment needs a good overall clean - The location was central. Parking is available tight to get in and out but I have a seven seater VW Sharan it is possible though to park. If you're not sure there are loads of roadside parking spaces available. Very spacious apartment. Modern. The sofa bed is easy to assemble and put back. Large kitchen and large fridge. Would definitely stay again. The hot water runs out very quickly so no chance of a decent bath unless you're happy to do so with about 6inches of water as I did with my 6 year old daughter 😕. No cleaning cleaning cleaning why ??? Such a shame cobwebs and dead spiders, on TV, light fittings and entrance, dusty dirty skirting boards. If the cleaning was done this place would be a little gem. TV SIGNAL is not great and only five channels.
- Gavin (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, comfortable great location
- Jane (8/5): Very good - Excellent location which was very quiet. Two minute walk to station ( although, no noise from the trains ) and ten minute walk into town centre. Apartment was comfortable, light and airy and much bigger than it looked in the photos. As the weather was very warm, it would have been good to have the option of a top sheet or light cover for the sofa bed, instead of just a thick duvet. But otherwise, all good.
- Amanda (1/5): Bad - Nothing The owners of the apartment were downright rude , unfriendly and snobby also , they turned off our heating and hot water through the nest app which is controlled from their phone , this left me unable to bathe or shower my 2 disabled children , they were extremely rude to us and did not communicate how we checked into the property and called me stupid when I asked for the code saying they had emailed us the code, but they hadn't, which resulted in me being told I'm stupid . The beds were uncomfortable and had black hairs and pubic hairs on the mattress and old make up stains on the pillow cases . I also found a used condom underneath the sofa bed , the very uncomfortable sofa bed , I had been so be little by the ownerrs I couldn't even ring them , no heating , no hot water as they turned it off for 5 days , no bath or shower for 5 days with 2 disabled kids , water in the kitchen orange coming out the tap , dirty and smelly , smells like sewage , very disappointed and want to complain .
- Horst Dieter (8/5): - Die einzigste Sache, waren die Handtücher!Sie rochen muffig und waren teilweise feucht!Und es war unangenehm sich damit abzu trocknen!!Außerdem fehlte ein Geschirrhandtuch!
- Lana (10/5): Wonderful stay overall - Great facilities, convenient location and nice decor.
- Carolyn (9/5): Great -
- Sam (9/5): Would do again 100% - Very home like not at all like other places Only problem was the dogs next door were always barking at 7am in the morning, but it’s something that can’t be changed so wasn’t a problem.
- Emma (7/5): Lovely clean venue, a little pricey. - The location was great, easy to find and park and the key was in a key safe so we could arrive and check in on our own. I expected a few more amenities, such as shampoo or shower gel and a hairdryer. We were expected to wash up all our dishes too, which given the price (like a hotel) I think is a bit cheeky!
- Tom (8/5): Very good -
- Rupesh (8/5): Nice place to stay - Great location to stay Newly refurbished then having a paint smell.
- Dave (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (8/5): mostly perfect - we didn’t stay in south court in the end, there was
building work going on so we were moved to Heene
Terrace. beautiful sea view location, old building
with balcony. view was beautiful. furniture was
comfortable. cleaning wasn’t up to scratch.
