• Ruben (6/5): Cheap and good location - I'd recommend taking an AC room, as ours with only a fan was way to hot. We stayed in 3rd floor, and the windows were towards the sun the whole day. The staff was helpful, arranging a driver to take us around Angkor Wat for 17$ for the "small circuit", and it took about 7 hours. Lounge was chill, good chairs. Was about 5$ to get to the place from the airport with tuktuk.

• Ezgi (6/5): Not perfect as in the pic - It was okey hostel. We booked as we saw in Hostel application. But they told us we booked a room with fan not AC. But there was no info about fan and AC in the booking. So they charged us 3 dollars per night. It was not good so we had to buy it because we arrived there in the night. There is no option to change the hostel. End of the day we didn't changed it just let them go and pay it. Nice to write info about fan and AC. The room is old style. The bathroom is old style as well. If I had found better place, i could have changed it. It is 10 mins walk to Pub street. This side is fine

• Amy (10/5): Very friendly staff - The staff here are very helpful! Helped us line up drivers to see the temples and an overnight bus. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty. The room was ok and the area was pretty quiet (we had a fan room and slept with the window open) The location was a 15 minute walk to pub street and the night market. Bottom line I would stay here again.

• Anna (8/5): Great (and really Happy!) Guesthouse in Siem Reap - I really enjoyed my stay here. It is a charming place to stay due to the very friendly, helpful and flexible staff. Really good value for money. Even though the literature said that WiFi would not work in my room (only in the Reception area) it did. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning efficient. The dining area is a nice place to sit and eat, drink or relax and the food is good. I also liked the area where the Guesthouse is situated. It felt a safe place and it was a short tuk tuk ride into the very centre of Siem Reap - in my opinion a nicer location than being in the super busy centre.

The well-trained staff speaks no English yet they remain attentive to the guests' EVERY need 24/7. Centrally located and close to ambitious eateries and public transportation, this accommodation is worth every penny
• K (8/5): Great little hotel out of the centre - Nice hotel, helped us organise tours, good food. Allowed us to keep bags there after check out and even let us shower before our night bus. We did have a dead cockroach in our bathroom but otherwise the place was pretty clean. Beds very comfortable (especially compared to others on our trip).
• Verified traveler (8/5): A great guesthouse that has everything you need - The Happy Guesthouse is clean, comfortable, and does a great job of taking care of all of your needs while you are in Siem Reap. The Guesthouse has tuk tuks available for tours of Angkor Wat for reasonable rates, and has a fully stocked kitchen. If booking through Expedia be sure to contact the Guesthouse directly to get an A/C and hot water room, as rooms are available with and without, and Expedia does not make this clear. The food is fairly reasonably priced, and not bad at all (I particularly liked the steamed dumplings, the breakfast, and the milkshakes).
• Kathrene (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Happy Guesthouse. The staff were always really helpful and organised our tour to Angkor Wat. Lots of other guesthouses in the same area but not much else.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Ideal budget hotel - Didn't realize we didn't book a room with AC, it was 3 USD per night to upgrade and it's a good thing we did. Everything is clean. The bed is a glorified foamy (very soft). Very friendly TUK tuk drivers right at the hotel. Highly recomend doing your tours with them. This is place isnt expensive but they do the little things right. Very happy.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - 部屋によって違うのかもしれませんが、エアコンは付いてますがリモコンは渡させれず別料金。 シャワー、トイレのところの排水溝が掃除されてないみたいで、全然流れず…2人連続でシャワー浴びると部屋の床がベットの下まで海になりました… タオルは２日に1回交換、シャンプーリンス、ドライヤーはなしでした。 併設レストランは出てくるのは遅いですが美味しかったです。

• 3nights (6/5): Far, unkind, cheap, good food - Restaurant is good. Food takes a long time to come out (15~30min) but pretty delicious at cheap price. Counter staff is not kind (especially woman) restaurant staff is varied (one is kind, the other one is so unkind) One room is good. And the other is noisy in the morning(it was beside the counter). And the other is bad. (The sound of water coming down from sewer is always heard. The ceiling fan cannot change speed and is unstable)
• Duke (6/5): Good enough budget option. Short walk to town hub - Great staff, budget option. Rooms a bit dated and no frills but ok. Can arrange tours and transports at very competitive rates. Cheap drinks, didn't try the food. Better options around. Would go back and recommend. Good bang for your buck.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Comfy but not quite as advertised - We had both the deluxe room and the standard room after booking extra nights but there's no difference except aircon which was unnecessary due to the fan in that room being permanently on unless you took the electric key out. Doesn't have daily room service or laundry service (but there is a good cheap one at end of street) or TV in either room we had, not that we wanted it. Not all rooms can access WiFi either although both of ours could as they were close to the front. However all that said we'd book again as they were comfy rooms and staff were very helpful including ringing their own tuk tuk drivers who did the temple tours. We did the 1 day tour for $14 hire plus temple tickets and he waited for us at all locations and we ended up spending 7 hours for that "short tour" Would definitely recommend that! ! About a 10 min walk to the main city highlights including day and night markets, pub street etc. Food on site is also very good whilst being reasonably priced
• Federica (8/5): Buon rapporto qualità prezzo - Posizione buona, personale gentile. Molti servizi a pagamento per gli ospiti tra cui servizi di tuk tuk per visitare i templi. Ristorante aperto fino a sera che serve cibo tutto sommato buono e con parecchia scelta. Le camere non sono grandi ma pulite e con doccia con acqua calda. Ventilatore e non aria condizionata. Buona connesione wi-fi. Consigliato.
• Arnaud (6/5): - Guesthouse basique, mais pour le prix on s'en contente. Très bruyant, j'étais dans un chambre au RDC, les personnels n'arrête de brailler jusqu'à 22H00. On entend tout, à l'entrée les lavandières sont couchées sur le sol. Sinon pas trop mal placé , a un quart d'heure de la pub street a pied. 10 euros la nuit avec la clim.

• keith (10/5): GREAT FOR A LONG OR SHORT STAY - Nice place. I had a long stay of 4 weeks to get to know Siem Reap well. Happy was an ideal place in a local neighbourhood far enough from Pub Street not to be bothered by the noise and crowds. But only 15 minutes walk away or 5 minutes cycle on the dollar a day bikes. Nice staff. Pick up from airport $2. Return to airport $5 Nice communal sitting areas. The guesthouse has 2 buildings. I was in the building adjacent to reception restaurant area i.e. next door. Nice stay.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful Guesthouse - Wish we could of stayed longer. Great guesthouse with an amazing restaurant and a relaxed vibe. Staff were always friendly and very helpful. They have there own tuk tuk drivers, which makes it easy to get around and they are all at a set price. Our driver Mr Mony was awesome and would 100% recommend him, he picked and dropped us off at the airport and took us around the temples for three days. The room we stayed in was really clean, had comfortable beds and it was a really quite area, but still really close to everything.

• Thomas (6/5): Tout a fait correct - Petit hotel tout a fait correct etant donne le prix. Le restaurant est sympa egalement. A une petite marche vous trouverez les quartiers vivants comme le night market et pubstreet. Si vous n'avez pas encore prevu vos escapades le staff vous propose leur aide a des tarifs raisonnbles et attractifs. AC plus que necessaire. Sejour court preferable.
• Elisha (8/5): Very Comfortable Guesthouse w/ Helpful Staff - There is 24-hour staff on duty for reception, which was convenient for us because we arrived so late on our flight from SFO. It must have been around midnight or past it, but the man at the "front desk" which also serves the restaurant as well was happy to sell us some water and beer. $0.50 for Angkor Beer (can't beat that!) The dining area is at the front of the hotel lobby with lots of tables and "cereal bowl" chairs, great for just hanging out. Compared to the food we ate around town, the food at this guesthouse restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced, so highly recommend eating at least one of your meals in the day here. Our room had one double bed, a fan, plenty floor space for bags, and a standard Asian style bathroom where there is a shower but not a bathtub, water just drains on the floor. Basic toiletries were provided (toothbrush, soap, toilet paper) plus 2 bottles of water for the room. What made this guesthouse worth it was the very friendly and helpful staff that gives you advice on tourist activities (Angkor Wat, bus rides to other cities) without being pushy and without trying to screw you over. Their prices were actually cheaper than what we would have paid outside using a travel agency or tourism company. Use Kean as your tuk tuk driver as he is humorous, silly, and very patient. And ChaoPoam (spelling might be off) is a super helpful young lady for all of your questions. She helped us book our bus ticket to Sihanoukville for $13 (Sorya Company).
• Dexter (8/5): Budget stay - I booked this hotel for my parents who were on a trip to Cambodia. In their words " A no nonsense hotel located in a good location & close to pub street". It was one of the cheaper hotels listed & well rated as well; didn't disappoint. Bare boned facilities & amenities but worth the price
• Matthew (8/5): Great value in Siem Reap - Great place to stay to explore the Angkor temples. Rooms were clean, air conditioning, hit water, large rooms, great staff! Good prices for food, food was great. You can organise all tours and transport at the hostel. Not far from pub street and central market, all walking distance. Great value.
