The Turkish delight that was provided in the room was actually one of the best we tasted, maybe even better than some of the famous brands in Istanbul(as we tried many of them). Breakfast was delicious, everyday there were some different things to try, really good tea and Turkish coffee too. The hotel staff was very attentive and nice. We arrived early in the morning, way before check in time, of course no room was available, but they texted us as soon as they got the first room available(I think it was around 10:00) which was really nice of them. We also booked massage packages at their spa and we were very pleased, it was not just very very relaxing but it was also very therapeutic too for my back aches. Totally recommended, I wish we would have stayed longer to have time for another session. (We opted for Sultan massage). The hotel location is also great, seems safe area, many restaurants around and just 10-15 min away from the main attractions in Sulthanahmet and close to various public transport options towards other neighbourhoods and points of attraction. Thanks to the team, that made our stay very pleasant.

Posizione ottima, vicina al centro (raggiungibile a piedi), vicina alla metro per l'aeroporto, al tram, al molo dei traghetti, praticamente mi son spostata sempre con gran facilità, in una zona piena di ristorantini.. Accoglienza top ! in reception tutti sorridenti e gentili, mi hanno tenuto i bagagli prima del chekin, sempre a disposizione; accoglienza in camera come non mi è mai capitato con pergamena di benvenuto, dolcetti ogni giorno e bottigliette d'acqua a diposizione. Bella camera, grande e luminosa, e pulita. Doccia calda con ottima pressione, guanto esfoliante e saponetta in omaggio. Ottima la colazione, io preferisco la parte salata e non mi ha delusa, ogni giorno una cosa diversa... ed anche i dolcetti ho visto che cambiavano ogni giorno.. frutta fresca ( e il coltellino per sbucciarla!),camerieri sempre pronti a chiederti se vuoi qualcosa in più...insomma un'attenzione ai particolari notevole L'unica cosa che mi ha leggermente delusa è stato il centro benessere, certo è bello averlo a disposizione, soprattutto la piscina può essere un plus, ma l'acqua era freschetta, la sauna in manutenzione e il bagno turco non cosi caldo come l'aspettavo... insomma i giorni successivi ho preferito la doccia calda in camera.. E l'unico appunto da fare alla camera è che ci fossero poche prese e quasi tutte già occupate.

The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The pool was fantastic—perfect for relaxing after a day out. The buffet breakfast was high quality with a wide range of options, so there was something for everyone. The location was also ideal, just a short walk from many of the main sights and activities. A hidden gem with great people and a warm, personal touch. Would happily stay again!

From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed like family, and that level of warmth and hospitality continued throughout our entire stay. The room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, featuring two bathrooms and a separate lounging area away from the bedroom, which made it incredibly comfortable and relaxing after long days of exploring the city. Where this hotel truly shines is its service. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction—attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our stay perfect. The breakfast each morning was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and delicious options, with staff personally attending to us to ensure we had everything we needed. We also took advantage of the hotel’s massage services and highly recommend the Turkish Bath experience—it was both relaxing and culturally enriching, and a perfect addition to our stay. The location is another huge highlight. Situated right in the heart of the Old City, the hotel is within a 15-minute walk of most major historical sites, including easy access to the Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, and countless fantastic restaurant options. Without a doubt, we will be staying here again on our next trip to Istanbul. This hotel exceeded expectations in every way. Highly recommended!
• chariced2023 (8/5): Excellent hotel - Gorgeous small hotel in ideal part of the city. Easy access to major sites. Nearby tram makes traveling the city very easy. Exceptional breakfast in the morning was amazing. Quality run by an outstanding staff who was very accommodating and willing to grant any request. Our only downside was work being done on the subway system nearby, which led to excessive construction noise at night, but this is temporary, and the staff was more than willing to move our room to the back side of the hotel to decrease the noise. Travel from the airport is approximately an hour by car, so make time for that in your plans. Would highly recommend this hotel. also the rooftop restaurant and bar is exceptional and had fabulous food and a wonderful view at night.

• CarlosFR (10/5): Great Ending to a Trip to Turkey - We spent a week traveling in Turkey on tour and extended the ending stay in Istanbul, upgrading to the Neorion Hotel in the Sirkeci neighborhood. During the tour we spent nights in good but average hotels, but the Neorion is definitely a step up. Though more expensive, the value seemed reasonable with included spa access and better quality and service compared to cheaper nearby options (we also stayed nearby for the tour). The hotel is perfect for sightseeing, within walking distance to most major historic attractions (Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, Galata Bridge, etc) with metro station and trams just a street away and a few blocks from Sirkeci train station. Many restaurants, cafes, pubs, and small shops are on nearby streets. The property with its ornate facade is welcoming and spotless inside the elegant lobby area. A ground floor spa is included with the stay with small pool, sauna, massage whirlpool, and hammam, though not full service the hammam experience was still enjoyable. The good sized room and bathroom has nice amenities, though not brand new are in great condition and kept spotless throughout the stay. Eco-friendly shampoo and soap dispensers are used in the shower. Turkish delight is provided daily, along with bottled water. Street noise is minimal from the 4th floor room. There’s stair access from the 6th floor to a rooftop terrace with views of the Bosphorus and a top rated restaurant that seems associated with a different hotel, but the restaurant feels part of the Neorion. A buffet breakfast is served in the lobby with a good selection of quality items. How can you go wrong with tiramisu for breakfast! Best of all was the level of service from everyone at the Neorion from the staff at the front desk, breakfast, spa, house keeping, and restaurant making this a great way to end this trip to Turkey.

The hotel is very good overall, with clean and comfortable rooms and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It is very close to all the main tourist attractions, and most places like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace are within walking distance, which made exploring the city very easy. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The service was excellent, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul, especially if you want a comfortable stay in a central location close to all the major sights.

The hotel is located in a vibrant commercial district but we weren't bothered at all by street noise. Neorion was clean and inviting: our room was very comfortable; the breakfast offerings were generous and diverse. The staff was always attentive and gracious. When I noted that our room tended to be warm, they made the necessary correction without hesitation. We had the impression that everyone at Neorion enjoyed their work and were eager to make the Istanbul experience as pleasant as possible for their guests. We highly, highly recommend this hotel!

Man konnte alles gut erreichen. Die Strasse, in der sich das Hotel befindet, machte einen sicheren Eindruck und es gab viele Essensmöglichkeiten. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und der Service war auch ausserordentlich gut. Man fühlte sich zu jeder Zeit wohl.

Hospitality, service of quality and great r - I rarely write reviews but Neorion really deserved it: my stay was amazing! The staff was polite and incredibly available with requests and suggestions to browse the city. The transfer from the airport was convenient and well organized. The reception helped us booking the Dervish Show and the rooftop restaurant (multiple times) with the table having the best view. My room was perfectly tidy, and each day I found fresh Turkish Delight to wait for me! Breakfast was rich with options and very tasty. I couldn’t go to the Spa due to a sports injury, but my friend and other guests mentioned that was fantastic too. I have only good words for Neorion: your holiday here is highly recommended!

All the main tourist attractions are within a 15 minute walk. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is good, there is a spa with small pool, hammam and sauna etc, and a buzzy restaurant on the roof terrace (worth booking a table at reception if you want to eat there). The staff are very helpful. They went above and beyond to help when I was (accidentally?) overcharged by a local taxi driver. I also booked a Turkish massage in the spa, which was very welcome after a couple of days sightseeing! Lovely place - I would definitely stay there again. Nothing.

Сам отель красивый, есть даже витрина возле ресепшн с музейными экспонатами и древними раскопками. Номера просторные, чистые, халаты красивые, полотенец много. Горничная отлично убирает номер. Бассейн чистый, опрятный, что важно, работает допоздна и после долгих прогулок можно окунуться в прохладную воду. Примерно 26 градусов. Завтраки достаточно разнообразные. Персонал заботливо наливает кофе и напитки, чтобы вы не вставали лишний раз. Завтрак проходит на 1 этаже в лобби-баре. На последнем этаже отеля расположен ресторан с прекрасным панорамным видом и красивым интерьером, готовят вкусно, цены не дороже чем в других ресторанах в центре. В аэропорт брали трансфер из отеля, стоит 50 долларов. За все время я обнаружила только один маленький недочет. В день отъезда мы пришли на завтрак к открытию. Я видела что привезли тележку со свежей горячей едой, но вот выпечка была вчерашняя. Остатки булочек с прошлого завтрака сиротливо лежали в корзинах и один круассан. Наверно не успевают прогреть печки и испечь свежие изделия к открытию, но остатков с вчера быть не должно. Но это маленькая мелочь на фоне прекрасной работы отеля!

Everyone was always willing to answer any questions and help with getting transportation. The staff was amazing and made this a phenomenal stay. The location of the hotel was great, the rooms and spa were very clean and comfortable, and much roomier than expected! Being on the first floor was a little loud due to the noises outdoor, however this is not the staff or facilities fault, just the taxi drivers being loud!

Рекомендую! нет свободных розеток ). Чтобы зарядить телефон, надо отключить прикроватную лампу или чайник. Абсолютно некритично, просто неудобно.
