Guest Reviews
- Polina (2/5): Problems with Hertzliya apartment- michelle suites - Problems with Hertzliya apartment (michelle suites)
The bedroom window is by a very loud wind corridor.
The bedroom window is right by the entrance to the parking lots, which is always loud - sometimes by cars going in and out, and often by trucks backing up, loading and unloading.
Silly building structure, you necessarily have to take stairs, unless someone is already indoors and opens balcony window
Poor wifi reception, router is not inside the apartment
No toilet roll holder
Very old TV, no HDMI port (RCA only)
Parking is not guaranteed - is shared amongst multiple apartments
Kitchen is gross
Scent of pesticide everywhere
Scent of mold everywhere, emanates from bathroom
Laundry costs extra and detergent isn't provided
Apartment furnishing is much more limited than shown in photos
Apartment has no stove (only a stovetop), as opposed to photos.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Trap for tourist - A trap for tourists! the place was dirty , the manager was a lair , his wife was rude and I left the day after instead of staying a week. The door didn't close and they didn't come to fix it . The cleaner lady welcome me and when I told her that the place is not clean, she look at me and told me : NO , It's clean. When I showed her the food on the plates , the food in the carpet , she agreed to wash it . but I slept a full night in a flat with a door opened. This is really a trap for tourist . they don't care about you because the localisation is idyllic and someone will come after you . this was the worst ever situation that I had . Dirty balcony etc...
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great stay we had good time and we will be back for sure and thank you Raj
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location! Nice apartment, reasonable price. Recommended.
- Ezra (2/5): Avoid - If you are going in the summer time i would aviod this property because there was no air condition in the room they siwtched me to another room with air which smelled so bad of mold. I refused to stay there and was swtich to another room that had a cockaroach. It was great location but up to you if you are okay with bugs, no air and mold
- Matt (4/5): A Complete Letdown — Beware Large, Hidden Costs! - After booking, we were later coerced into paying an unannounced $100 cleaning fee. An agent of the owner rang the door bell late at night while we were trying to put our infant to bed to ask us for this fee before we even checked out. It was highly irregular to not include the fixed $100 fee in the regular booking price as handled through the Hotels.com clearing house. On top of this, it is darn presumptuous to assume that Americans dollars are someone's native currency; and worst, the unit was not even clean: cigarette butts and dirty dishes littered the outdoors, the unit reeked of cigarette smoke, and the shower area was covered in grime.
There are a few other sundries I could complain about, but the shear hypocrisy, annoyance, and irregularity of the aforementioned trumps everything else.
Visitor beware!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Read the fine print - Read the fine print.. you'll be charged an additional US$100 for a "cleaning fee" on top of your bill. Cash only. (NIS or USD or EUR)
It was a beautiful, clean, spacious basic apartment with a private garden patio and very quiet neighbors. Lots of extra sheet/ blankets and pillows and clean towels.
..Situated minutes from the harbor and shopping / dining area.. and a three minute walk to the beach. The pool was clean and beautiful.. No complaints all around except for the surprise fee not listed on the booking page.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice little place in an amazing location - Nice one bedroom apartment in an amazing location at the Herzliya Marina. This is a typical Israeli apartment, so expect a small bathroom, small kitchen nook, etc. But you can't beat the fantastic location, with many cafes nearby and the Herzliya beach, which is one of the nicest in Israel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): great location nice stuff but get a better place - Location is great and stuff is very nice but rooms are not clean enough. If youre above college age this place is not for you.
- Sanford (10/5): Michelle Suites Herzlia - A Good Alternative - Michelle Suites was a very good choice for our 12 day stay. Besides being much lower in price than the nearby deluxe hotels it had several other advantages- two rooms (but small) instead of one, free parking, a kitchenette and a choice of good restaurants nearby.
- Adriana (6/5): All is well when it ends well - It was very confusing to find as we arrived at night, building very dark and no one to receive us. The unit was run down, because of water leaks it smelled mouldy. Our first night was terrible. However the manager changed us to a much nicer appt from the second night and was very cooperative with everything we needed and tried to make the best out of a bad start. Location is great and the second appt was roomy and comfortable. I would suggest to add hooks for the towels in the bathroom and to have a couple of bottles of water to start with especially for those who arrive late. A little renovation would be in place as well as both appartments were dated. The garden outside needs TLC and cleaning. Also the whole Marina Village needs TLC as the facility has seen better days. All in all we enjoyed our stay mainly because of the location, the roominess and the kitchen.
- Jan (4/5): - booked and payed for 4 nights via hotels.com. 2 minutes after payment I recieved an email from "hotel" that I had to pay additional 100 us dollars for "extras" at check in. Dont know what these extras included . There was no room service, no cleaning , no reciept for the payment of the 100 us dollars.
will never stay there again
- Jonathan (8/5): Convenient Apartment for the Herzliya Area - We had an apartment at the Marina Village in the Marina in Herzliya Pituach. It is an excellent arrangement for people who want to be independent and are visiting the Herzliya, Tel Aviv area.
