• Hendriks (5/5): Fijn bed en douche verder sterk verouderd - Tot onze verbazing is degereserveerde ont bijt niet doorgekomen,want we stonden niet op de lijst.Dus met lege maag 200 km naar Rotterdam. Vreselijke trap
• Stefan (1/5): Nicht sein Geld wert!! - Die zentrale Lage direkt neben dem Weihnachtsmarkt. Das gesamte Hotel ist dreckig, angefangen im Treppenhaus bis ins Zimmer überall Dreck, Spinnweben und Schrammen. Der Teppich im Flur und im Zimmer stand vor Dreck. Unser Familienzimmer im oberen Geschoss war eiskalt. Die kleine Heizung im Zimmer war nur lauwarm im Badezimmer war die Heizung kaputt. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, Sie können mehr Decken bekommen damit es wärmer ist. Die dreckige Hotelwäsche und auch die saubere steht neben den Küchenmülltonnen an der Küche. Wir hatten uns sehr auf den Aufenthalt im Hotel gefreut aber wir konnten uns nur zum Schlafen dort aufhalten. Wir fühlen uns absolut abgezockt.

• Martine (5/5): Locatie prima maar verouderd en kamer niet schoon! - De locatie was aan het Vrijthof De kamers zijn oud, meubilair oud maar dat hoeft op zich geen punt te zijn maar het was ronduit niet schoon! Overal stof, stopcontact in badkamer lag half uit de muur, TV deed het merendeels niet met storingsbalken tussendoor. Het ontbijt is geen lopend buffet maar wordt geserveerd op een plankje. Was prima maar zeker niet het geld waard voor de prijs wat ervoor gevraagd wordt. Ik heb de vieze kamer gemeld en het antwoord : het management weet ervan. Dan denk ik: waarom dan niet 10 min extra schoonmaak voor tevreden klanten??

• Meyer (3/5): Très mauvaise expérience – chauffage en panne, aucun service ! - L'emplacement est vraiment top, plus besoin de prendre la voiture pour se déplacer à Maastricht. Nous avons séjourné en octobre dans une chambre familiale et avons malheureusement vécu une très mauvaise expérience. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons constaté que le chauffage ne fonctionnait ni dans la chambre (spacieuse mais mal isolée) ni dans la salle de bain. Sachant qu’il faisait déjà froid, nous avons immédiatement contacté la réception à 18h (elle est censée rester ouverte jusqu’à 20h). Le réceptionniste nous a demandé de le rappeler 5 minutes plus tard pour qu’il puisse contacter quelqu’un – ce que nous avons fait. Malheureusement, à partir de ce moment-là, plus personne n’a jamais répondu au téléphone malgré plus de 15 appels entre 18h et 20h. En descendant à la réception vers 18h50, il n’y avait déjà plus personne sur place. En revenant de notre dîner, le chauffage ne fonctionnait toujours pas, et nous avons passé la nuit à grelotter. La chambre étant mal isolée (juste sous le toit), nous avons tous pris froid et sommes tombés malades. Le lendemain matin, nous avons signalé le problème au moment du check-out. On nous a présenté des excuses verbales mais aucun geste commercial, pas même un café offert. Pour un établissement hôtelier, ce manque de professionnalisme et d’attention au confort de ses clients est inadmissible. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

• Richard (8/5): Centraal gelegen prima hotel met goed uitgebreid ontbijt - Locatie is goed. Kamers, bedden en badkamer is prima. Kamer 10 is erg groot met een mega badkamer. Ontbijt is voortreffelijk en ontbreekt aan niets (fijn dat dit tot 11:00 kan).

Flexibele opstelling. Mooie grote familiekamer op de bovenste verdieping. De trappen zijn smal en er is geen lift. Niet handig voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Verder haperde er van alles, leeslampjes die kapot waren, wc die bleef spoelen. Op de bovenste verdieping was een sterke rioollucht in de badkamer.

Prijs 300,- / kwaliteit heel erg slecht - Aardig personeel, helaas alleen engels sprekend Kamer zeer gedateerd, slecht onderhouden zoals zeer matig schilderwerk, afwerking gordijnen slecht en functioneerde slecht, 2 van de 3 ramen gingen niet open, toilet (niet in badkamer maar naast het bed) stonk ondanks paar keer doorspoelen, 1 van de 2 wastafelkranen op de badkamer functioneerde amper, douchekop was niet meer te verstellen, alleen heel harde straal. Auping matrassen prima, maar de kussens zeer slecht, waardeloos. Daardoor ook nog eens zeer slecht geslapen. Bij het ontbijt wat op zich prima was vieze borden (vervangen) en vies bestek (zelf maar schoongemaakt met servet).

• Evi (8/5): - Het hotel ligt op een perfecte locatie voor een korte stedentrip naar Maastricht. Mijn kamer was schoon, ruim en de bedden lagen heerlijk! Doordat het gebouw wat ouder is hoor je inderdaad wat van buiten, maar dat hou je toch in een stad. Personeel was vriendelijk en het in en uitchecken ging gemakkelijk. Mijn kamer werd elke dag schoongemaakt, heel fijn!! Ik heb me hier fijn gevoeld en geen moment onveilig, toch belangrijk voor een vrouw alleen.

• hannahsullivannn (10/5): Nice hotel! - Stayed here for three nights. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. We felt safe while staying here. It is located right on the Vrijthof — hotel itself is quiet but keep in mind that the Vrijthof itself can be loud at night. Check in was quick and easy. When we arrived to our room, we noticed there were some small ants on the floor by the balcony door. We let reception know about this. We were fine with staying in the room, we just asked if they could spray the room — instead they upgraded us to the large family suite. The staff were very friendly. Our room was not tidied by house keeping during our stay, but we found it to be fine since we were only here for three nights. We would stay here again

The welcome when we arrived was very friendly, and when we had a problem with a taxi not arriving, the girl on reception could not have been more helpful in arranging for an alternative. The location was great, right opposite the square, which at this time of year had the Christmas market in it. It was an easy walk to wander through the lovely town. The coffee machine in the room was great!

Got an email from the hotel saying they’ll receive me between 16:00 and 22:00. Got there at 20:55. They left for the night. They charged me for 2 nights. They said they would refund 1. Didn’t happen.

La limpieza; desde que llegas las alfombras no se han aspirado en meses, al llegar a la habitación, no es que estén mal las instalaciones, simplemente no le han dado mantenimiento en meses y necesita una limpieza profunda. El desayuno fue agradable la recepcionista Ariana también la mesera y prepara los cafés, súper agradable y dispuesta para atenderte Lo rescatable es la buena ubicación

• Hande (2/5): Terrible. Stay away from this hotel - I have left my luggage at the reception around noon time and before the room is ready. They gave me the key of the room and kept the luggage at reception locker. When I arrived back at the hotel door of the hotel was closed. My key opened the door and I could not reach my luggage. Nobody informed me about the closing time of the reception while taking my luggage. Then I left with no luggage and could not reach any of my belongings including my medicine and care goods. Unbelievable. Also at midnight there was the fire alarm on without anybody from hotel management available. It was the most terrible hotel experience ever. They did not even apologised properly for the experience I had. Please stay away from this hotel. Only good thing is the location of the hotel nothing more.

• Matthew (2/5): - Awful. Hotel sent me an email saying I could check in as late as 22:00 and that someone would be there to greet me. I arrived at 21:00 and was not able to check in due to no one being there. If I never received that email, I would have been on time. They charged me for both nights I was staying and didn’t refund me for THEIR mistake. If you want to have no place to stay your first night in Europe and be out money to begin your trip, this is your place.
• Jos (4/5): - onze kamer was niet echt schoon. er lag overal stof. zelfs in de badkamer. de trap naar boven was met vloerbedekking en zag er niet schoon uit. het is net of de stofzuiger nog nooit de trappen nooit heeft gezien. we hadden een kamer op bovenste verdieping en dat was een hele klim en zeker voor mijn vrouw. tv deed het niet en geen afstandsbediening ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat het meisje die daar werkte haar best deed. we vonden het een teleurstelling en wij niet alleen. iedereen klaagde hoe vuil de kamers waren.

• Horst (4/5): - Schon beim Check in fing der Ärger an. Es wurde einem ein Computertablett rübergegeben in das man alle üblichen Angaben selber eingeben sollte. Leider funktionierte das Programm überhaupt nicht und nach dem x-ten Versuch meine Anschrift einzugeben habe ich entnervt aufgegeben. Das Ganze dauerte 15-20 Minuten. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem Altbau. Unser Zimmer lag im obersten Stockwerk und war nur über eine steile, enge Treppe erreichbar. Kein Aufzug und Hilfe beim Gepäck gab es nicht. Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig bis auf die Toilette. Die war so eng, dass man die Tür bei Benutzung etwas offen stehen lassen musste. Zudem war das Zimmer nicht wirklich sauber, insbesondere besagte Toilette war verschmutzt und sonderte einen üblen Geruch nach Urin ab. Der Gipfel war das angebotene große Frühstücksbuffet für immerhin 16,- Euro p.P.. Es bestand aus einem an der Rezeption ausgegebenen Tablett mit Tassen, schmutzigen Gläsern und kalten Eiern. Dazu wurde einem eine Papiertüte mit trockenen gummiartigen Brötchen und in Plastik verpacktem Brot , zwei in Frischhaltefolie eingewickelten Scheiben Wurst und Käse „gereicht“ . Um nicht wieder mühsam die Treppe hochsteigen zu müssen nahmen wir vor dem Hotel auf der Straße an verdreckten Tischen und Stühlen Platz. Einziger Pluspunkt war das freundliche und bemühte Personal. Alles in allem eher eine Enttäuschung und keine Empfehlung.

• Linda (7/5): Maastricht Hotel Saillant - The location was very central -:easy walk to all the sights, restaurants etc. Comfortable bed and nice to have a coffee machine. Hot water in the shower. Staff were friendly. It was probably the best value place in the area for that night. Overall we were a bit disappointed, given that this is supposed to be a 3 star hotel. Not especially clean and seemed a bit shabby. Noisy air con unit right outside the window. We were surprised that the 'tourist tax was so high - €14 for one night. But we probably couldn't have found anywhere that central for the price.

• Stefan (9/5): Very nice hotel in the city centre. - We had a very pleasant stay at the Saillant, perfectly located in the city centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room on the roof floor was just perfect with a huge bathroom, fast internet, so everything we needed was there. The breakfast was good, with cheese, different sorts of bread, yoghurt, eggs, pindakaas, etc. There is an underground parking next to the hotel, you have to book it online and can get a discount as hotel guest. For a next visit to Maastricht, we will definitely come back to the Saillant.
