• Anita (10/5): HK villa was great value for money, the stafff exceptional just not being able to flush toilet paper was a big turn off - Kadek and the staff at HK villa were extremely friendly and helpful, the room service for cleanliness was excellent everyday they asked if they could clean the room and pool. The location was central. The complimentary rides were fantastic and the breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. Great value for the money. Thank u so much HK villa The only thing that turned us off was that we were not allowed to flush toilet paper/tissues down the toilet.

• Simon (7/5): Perfect if you want value for money, a private pool and an ideal location. - The location is ideal and staff are great, the rooms are spacious but photos used to promote the villa's are several years old and whilst the facilities were good they are not exactly like the photos show. Villas are due for some cosmetic improvements. Private pool was large and clean. Breakfast was excellent each day, which you order the night before. Great value for the money paid. Entrance and foyer are nothing like the photos, didn't really want to meet our friends we were travelling with in the foyer.

The sliding doors didn’t shut properly, leaving 2-3 cm of space for geckos and other animals free to come inside

• Sharon (9/5): Perfect couple getaway in a private villa with pool - Lovely private villa suitable for a couple. Staff were wonderful and provided assistance with transport, organised laundry service, delicious breakfast and serviced room daily. The villa was a nice (10 min) walking distance to Legian Street (google maps provides walking shortcuts). There are local Warungs and Western style restaurants close. Fantastic value for money to have your own private space and pool. To be fair, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like, but it is looking tired and the photos of the foyer/entrance are nothing like when you arrive. Certainly would not stop us staying again.
• Natasha (7/5): Overall Pretty Good - These villas are like a hidden gem near the river. The main street is less than 1km walk from the villa and you are in amongst the shops and cafes. The villa was large and clean, it even had a jacuzzi which I didn't actually use because I was in the pool every day instead. The pool is a decent size and doesn't get warm so it's actually refreshing but not chilly. The internet was great. Some random things like I only got to have 1 hot shower in the 6 days I stayed, the water was mostly cold. Things that I used up weren't replaced when the room was cleaned, I had to ask for extra sugar. The pool wasn't cleaned regularly, I ended up cleaning it myself most days. There is breakfast included in the stay, but it was very average. I ended up going down the road to Ruby's for breakfast because they had fresh watermelon juice which wasn't available at the villa and did a much nicer breakfast, plus the owners are lovely and I enjoyed their hospitality.

Love the free one way taxi service in Legian area , this able us to go to lots of restaurants .its an easy 10- 15 minute walk to end of Padma street, where you are right at the beach I. The centre of every thing . Lovely for couples want a quiet time , would definitely return The only thing which is o minor improvement is better outside sun beds with cushions and stain the decks area , but I would definitely return ,

Nice and generous breakfast. Free shuttle around Legian and very responsive staff. They were always kind and with a smile. The pool from the villa could be a bit better cleaned and kept.

• pippa (10/5): We would definitely return if we were staying in Legian again. - The villa was really spacious. Loved the bathroom with hot tub and double sink. Filter water freely available was a bonus. Pool was perfect size . Staff were amazing and were on call 24/7 for any requests. Breakfast was delicious and extremely generous. Bed was enormous and comfortable. Staff did a great job of cleaning everyday and kept the villa spotless. Ice available on request. Extra towels, microwave, iron all available on request. Location was perfect. 10 min walk to Legian bars and shops. One of the loungers was broken and kept collapsing. But was easily fixed. The crockery and cutlery provided was the bare minimum.

Outdoor kitchen but rarely used it. 3 air-conditioners but one in the bathroom not working (will be fixed), but most of the time, we just had the one in the bedroom going as all the dividing walls didn't go up to the racked ceiling The staff were so helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was amazing and they provided a free one way trip anytime to anywhere local. Kadek in particular was so helpful. We will definitely be staying here again. Not enough good eating places nearby, only g a quick ride to our favourite place Stakz.
• Esther en René (10/5): Heel erg aan te raden in alle opzichten! - Heerlijke ruime villa met eigen zwembadje. Genoeg handdoeken voor op de ligstoel en voor het badderen. Mooie grote jacuzzi. Eindelijk een adres waar genoeg warm water was om het bad mee te vullen. Het ontbijt was superlekker en goede variaties en werd naar je villa gebracht op het tijdstip dat je de avond ervoor afspreekt. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wat echt geweldig was was dat we op onze laatste dag pas om 18.30u. kostenloos mochten uitchecken omdat ons vliegtuig om 21.00u. vertrok! En die dag hadden ze geen nieuwe gasten. Dat was echt HEEL geweldig. Prima service en je wordt gratis naar het vliegveld gebracht. De locatie is ook prima, 20 minuten lopen via honderden winkeltjes naar het drukke strand. Als we weer naar Bali gaan, dan komen we hier zeker terug. Een keer moest ik bijna 10 minuten wachten voordat ik door de deur naar het complex kon. Die zit altijd dicht, en normaal zit er ook altijd iemand, maar toen toevallig niet. Maar dat kan gebeuren. Verder was het super!

The boss tried to imply that I had been hypnotised by magic and that I hadn’t purchased the stolen items at all. He then insinuated that I (travelling alone) had permitted others into my villa and that he would check the cameras. I invited him to go ahead and do that. Also the bed was like a rock. It was way too hard.

They are extremely accommodating, kind, friendly, just beautiful people. We had the Australian breakfast each day and it was one of the beat breakfasts we've had..I couldn't be happier about our stay at HK Villa. We didn't want to leave! Matur suksma 🙏❤️ we already miss you!!
• Gary (9/5): Nice big villa with a private pool... great value! - We were surprised how big this villa was! Has everything you need for a short or long stay. 15 mins walk to Legian Beach and has some lovely restaurants and bars nearby. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were next level and catered to any tastes. Highly recommended and one of the nicest villas we have stayed in around Legian for value. Bonus, transport to the airport is provided and only took 20 mins! Could be a few mozzies around but HK provided mozzie coils and nets over the bed in the airconditioned room. Not a major issue really.

• Janice (10/5): Amazing wonderful and why we come back year after year - HL villa is our home away from home - villa is spectacular- great side , huge pool, fabulous service and staff… Kadek is a standout , she is always able to assist with any inquiry , she goes above and beyond for the guests and cooks a breakfast better than in a restaurant- We love it here The only thing of concern is the new 6 bedroom (12 guests) villa next door can be loud if all the guests staying there are up late or having a party , there were guests staying a few nights and while we were out in our courtyard enjoying the warm evening & what is usually a very quiet area later at night , the group next door were up late as well probably just having a few drinks and a laugh themselves but the noise travels easily and if that happened every night it wouldn’t be much fun to listen to

• Deanna (9/5): Beautiful. Spacious. A feel of luxury not far from town but without the noise. - The villa was beautiful. Large, immaculately clean, and with own private pool. A super cute outside kitchen patio area. The breakfast was excellent. They could not do enough to make us feel comfortable. We had access to scooters for free if we wanted. And they even provide free one way transport to town or the supermarket if we didn't want to use scooters. Only a 15 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of town. Great value for money. Would stay again. The pool really needed a good clean. Not leaves which are to be expected, but the tiles needed attention. Would also be good to have some cushions on the outside loungers. But overall, was an amazing place.

Bed is comfortable, overall facilities are great. The accommodation was great, only thing letting it down is minor maintenance that could be done to improve its overall look.

• Brett (8/5): Our Stay - The staff are absolutely fantastic, so much so that I thought they were the owners however this is not the case, the owners are very very fortunate to have such great and dedicated staff, they are a big asset. Reception is open 24x7. The breakfasts are included and you can choose what you would like, these are high quality and delivered at the time you ask for it even if it’s pouring with rain as it did one morning. The free use of a scooter is a big winner, we were able to use all day, every day of our stay. Free transport to the airport was much appreciated and organised at the time asked. Mosquito coils were also provided which deterred them effectively. There was a jacuzzi in the villa but did not use. One of the cheapest prices per night in Legian.

The location worked for us and there was the option of using a villa scooter if needed. Great cafes nearby for coffee but the villa included breakfast with amazing coffee also. The staff were always offering to assist with anything we needed. The one bedroom pool villa was perfect.

No communal space to get a drink or have a meal. The location was a bit awkward, a longer walk around to get to anywhere than the map says. Despite this staff offered free taxi to wherever you want to go. The villa needs repair, roof leaks, kitchen area looking very tired, decking broken.

Breakfast is great but I think the villas are in need of a freshen up! We stayed in Villa no. 5 and if we stayed again I would request not to be in that Villa. Other than that the service, the breakfast and the staff were great. The room really needs a freshen up, cracked bathroom mirror (big crack), slight wear and tear, the outside second toilet was filthy and you could not sit on the seat it was dirty, the outside pool area at the end near the shower is in desperate need of repair.
• Kane (4/5): quite simply put it did not meet any expectations if it was a two star Australian road stop motel for half the price it - The bed was comfortable, Location was good. The Internet was good. The breakfast was Great. however, that’s about where it ends It was dated and needs refurbishment A stone finish in the bathroom, look like it had mould. The water did not heat to a hot water standard. The spa took way too long to heat up. and sometimes didn’t heat up at all. Too many signs telling us what we couldn’t do it look like a doctor surgery. Some staff were hard to communicate with. They accused us of damaging sheets by a previous guest that had tattoos and ink stains on the quilt covers and later apologised and said it was the flowers they put on the bed for us. Within the first 24 hours we were demanded for full payment for the week although they had taken copies of our passports and we had booked through booking.com.Apart from breakfast their is no other food available through the day when we asked for food to be ordered and delivered to us it was cancelled twice. When it was time to leave we advised staff what time we needed to leave and was told a taxi was booked for us at 5.15 while we were waiting out the front we realised it had not been organised and the staff last minute tryed to book us a ride we are fortunate we didn’t miss our flight.
• Gmail (9/5): Will definitely stay again - Quiet location. Lovely staff. Free use of facilities (scooters and rides into town). Clean villas. 2 minute walk to convenience store. Mosquitoes. But it is wet season, so it is expected.
• Carole Marie (10/5): - The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our villa was clean and well presented. We were provided with free taxi's into town and we also had the option to ride the scooters for free.

• Tamara (1/5): Don’t waste your money! - Staff and breakfast We were very disappointed with this villa. The entire place feels old and poorly maintained. The furniture is worn out, and the doors have holes that let mosquitoes in constantly, making the nights very uncomfortable. The pool, which looked amazing in the photos, had dangling lights and cables, giving it an unsafe feel. The sheets were yellowed and stained, as were the towels, likely due to being too old. Additionally, the reception entrance looked like a dump, with trash and debris everywhere, leaving a terrible first impression. Moreover, the villa was very expensive for what they offer. The only positives were the friendly staff and the decent breakfast, but these did not compensate for the numerous issues throughout the property.

• Lea-ann (9/5): Great location, free service into Legian daily - We received great service, friendly warm welcome, room was ready earlier than expected. Ordered breakfast once we arrive. Just great all round villas. They will be rated fantastic. The outside fan didn’t work & I didn’t mention it to the reception as it didn’t bother med him.
• Wocka (9/5): Great Value for Money for a private pool Villa - Check in was great and had the room ready early for us . Kadek was professional and lovely as she explained everything in detail before giving us our privacy . Great size private pool . 2 x pool lounges annd pool towels supplied . Excellent cooking area and large fridge in outside kitchen . Enormous spa bath . Also a hot and cold water outside shower . Large comfortable bed with generous mosquito net if required . Internet was good . Free Netflix and airport transfer . Only regret is we stayed 2 days as a week would have suited us more . Breakfast choice was excellent and huge delivered at the time you want . 3 air cons in the 3 separate living , sleeping and spa bath/ bathroom areas . 2nd toilet also . Staff also excellent with special mention of Kadek who spoke to most . Cleanliness around the pool area and wall that the TV was mounted on in Villa 4 was not up to scratch but even though it didn’t phase us I am sure a more pedantic guest may not be very happy . Villa did have a large hole in pool decking that was covered by a mat and also by the pool lounge . Did mention to Kadek on check out . A few bugs around but keep the doors closed and they don’t bother you too much at night . No TV reception but they did have free Netflix .
