Guest Reviews
- Johannes (10/5): - Mooi en schoon hotel met op zeer korte afstand veel restaurants en bars
- VODERHUBLI GANESH (10/5): - Good value for the price. The location is pretty good as well. The place was neat. No issues.
- je-jeung (2/5): - I had an issue with check in process. I had updated my reservation and the hotel reception couldn't find the updated information and it took more than 30 min to finally done with check in.
- Allen (10/5): - Great service
- Prayoon (9/5): Superb - The hotel is not so big, looks private, Location not city center , traffic is good, surround by many restaurants that can walk, staffs was friendly, breakfast is good. None
- Leah (6/5): Just OK - Compared to a different hotel I stayed in on the same trip, this was not as good. It was very noisy from the street, the bathroom was just adequate, and the breakfast was not so nice. Considering there are many choices, which were a better value, I would not come back to this one.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel, right on the river. Great dining locations, close to the night market. A little old, but well kept and clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): - 空港から近い。バス停からも近い。メコン川沿いのロケーションで、近くにレストランもたくさんある。
- Verified traveler (6/5): -
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location and service - The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was quite odd and some more variety would be better. The bed was uncomfortable. They did bring us extra pillows. The area is great right by all the bbqs and music and on the riverside. Can be loud with the music but stops by 11:30.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - i have stayed here several times. i find it quite pleasant and the staff are nice. it is very good value for the price which jncludes a simple but decent cooked breakfast. The bar next door has music every night until about 10:15 which i like, but others may not.
- Adrian (8/5): - The hotel was not bad, reception area very modern, rooms and levels could do with an upgrade but comfortable
- Jean (10/5): Near the Mekong river! - It was our first time in Laos and it was our honeymoon trip. The place is perfect just a few steps out of the hotel and you can see the Mekong River. Great staff and very helpful. They have upgraded our room from double to king size bed as they knew it was our honeymoon. The staff are amazing especially receptionist Mr. Sisouvanh Viliathong. There is a night market nearby about 15mins walk. Live music by the Mekong river as there are plenty of restaurants. There are tricycles nearby the hotel which you can negotiate to take you around tourist spots they are helpful.
- Dennis (6/5): Won't be back. - Nothing much of interest in the immediate area. Very long walk or tuk tuk to everything.
- Rob (6/5): Awful Brekfasts - We had a superior room, which was spacious and well furnished (although the closet was extremely shallow). TV had an OK selection of channels; A/C worked well; and there was always hot water. Location is good, although Vientiane’s better restaurants are 15 to 20 minutes’ walk away. Staff seemed pleasant enough, but disinterested at the same time. Wi-fi was weak. Breakfast, as other reviewers have noted, was terrible — a few odd choices poorly cooked, nothing to drink except powdered coffee and cheap tea, etc. Also, breakfast is only served starting at 7, so extremely inconvenient if you’re leaving the city early. It’s expensive for what it is, and better value can be found elsewhere, but you can also do worse. To sum up, room was nice but the rest of the experience was pretty meh.
- Verified traveler (6/5): just ok - Free airport transfer but difficult to arrange. Very loud at night. Room was ok, not super comfortable. Less than I expected for the price. Also cleanliness was less than I expected for the price.
- Joe (8/5): Good Location, cool staff - Lost my card in an ATM late one night - the staff drove me to the bank to sort things out. Cool people at this hotel. The manager drove me to the airport himself. Location is right on the river - mini mart across the street, short walk to the bars and restaurants. Tasty breakfast with eggs and 4 meal choices along with a little vegetable buffet. Would recommend.
- Alex (8/5): - Nice hotel, 2nd stay here when visiting Vientiane, staff are lovely and very helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): On the Mekong - Nice hotel in a lovely location, friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in hotels costing double the price and more of the Seasons Riverside in Vientiane and they were no better.
- tynno (10/5): Nice view to the river - The room look nice but they don't have pool. I hope they make better room services.
- Tony (4/5): Season of Discontent - I stayed in the Seasons for 10 days from 27th January. My trip to Vientiane was partly business partly pleasure. Since about 2002 I have visited Vientiane many times and stayed in 4 different hotels. Seasons is the worst and most expensive ever. Good points: 1. Riverside location. 2. Clean and reasonably comfortable room. Bad points: 1. the advertised roof top restaurant and bar doesn't exist. I was advised to go next door to the Sengtawan hotel for the roof top restaurant and view of the Mekong2: The telephone in my room didn't work for the entire duration of my stay in spite of frequent reminders to various staff members to fix it. 3. The hotel wifi kept breaking down and had to be reset. Because there was no telephone that meant I had to go down to reception to try to get reconnection. 4. Laos has numerous fruits including bananas, mangoes, papaya, pineapple. In spite of this there was always only a miserable plate of cheap water melon on offer at breakfast. 5. There was no tea/coffee making facility in my room and only one very uncomfortable stool (not chair) to sit on. The manager was on holiday when I was there (hopefully in a better hotel than Seasons) so I couldn't complain directly as there was no assistant on duty.
