- jasontI3303AG (10/5): Best lodge I’ve stayed at! - This place is wonderful! Beautiful views, awesome atmosphere, very rustic mouintain vibes. We were greeted by two awesome loving well behaved dogs when we arrived (Penny and Yeti). They showed us right to the office! The human staff is amazing too! Knew all the activities to do around the area for the time of year we went. Very kind and welcoming people.I would 100% go here again. Definitely a great place to plan a large family gathering at. Beautiful cabins and even cool covered wagons for the kids to stay in.

- K8261ZJbrianj (10/5): Wonderful gem for family fun! - We LOVED our stay at Moose Creek Ranch. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. The lodge was lovely - all details carefully thought through to ensure a fun stay for all. We also really loved the pizza - we enjoyed top notch pizza and salad both nights while watching the Olympics. The drive to Jackson Hole was also a breeze and we were happy to stay someplace quiet surrounded by nature. We will be back to this gem!
- robertmM4308MC (10/5): Winter Wonderland - This is a wonderful place in an awesome location. Nestled in the mountains and close enough to Jackson. We were there in winter. A white wonderland, not many others staying. It was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Fireplace in the lodge was cozy and inviting. We were in Rendezvous 2, very warm and comfortable with the gas fireplace. If there's anything I would suggest is a coffee maker in the room. Probably not as important in warmer months, but would have been welcomed in the winter. Also, maybe because of winter, but the shower water pressure wasn't enough to ignite the water heater, so I had to run the sink hot water while I showered. At any rate we loved the facilities and the location.

Had the community room to ourselves most of the time due to the time of year and snow. Wonderful way to spend a snowy afternoon reading in front of the fireplace. Super nice people work there. Very relaxing environment. Close to restaurants in Victor. Things they need to work on: maintenance of areas in community area need work. Restroom had no paper towels for days. Toilet needed cleaning. Oranges in "breakfast area" were moldy. Bagels were placed there and not refreshed for 3 days. You have to make and maintain a fire in the fireplace. In Rendevous 2 cabin, water pressure and temp were horrible. mini-bar in room. No coffee maker. Just a few small tweaks could make this place perfect!!

- Road03139656177 (10/5): The best of both worlds! - If you want to be close to Jackson Hole, but feel like you’re tucked away in the mountains- Moose Creek Ranch is the place for you! My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights so we could explore Teton National Park while still being close enough to Jackson Hole to enjoy town life. This was the perfect balance of both! Being up in the mountains offered spectacular views, and awesome wildlife spotting opportunities. We came away having seen moose, bear, elk, and tons of bird life. Any wildlife enthusiast’s dream! We stayed in one of the twin cabins which was warm, cozy and modern, with a lovely western feel to the place. Everything about Moose Creek has such fabulous attention to detail, from the labelled maps we received on arrival, to the personalised s’mores kit in our room- we loved roasting these over the fire in the evening. The food options were perfect for us, with an included breakfast selection, and for dinner some of the best wood-fired pizzas we’ve ever had! One of our favourite additions was the sauna deck overlooking the river. This was such a perfect activity for the colder fall months and we even sat in there watching the snow around us. We’re also very keen horse riders, and while the horses had been taken home for the winter season, we would love to return in the summer months to get some riding in around such a beautiful area. Overall, we had an excellent stay with Moose Creek, everything worked so seamlessly and the staff were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for that luxury ranch feel in the mountains, while still having access to the town, we would highly recommend Moose Creek Ranch!

- 551arleyl (10/5): Relaxing Getaway Near Jackson, WY - Stayed in a glamping tent in Moose Creek Ranch during the fall foliage. Staff was so friendly and helpful! Enjoyed a trip to their sauna and delicious pizza in their bar area. Very cozy and serene atmosphere. Will definitely be returning and recommending to anyone looking to visit the Jackosn Hole area!
- Aimee (10/5): - I can’t rave enough about this amazing ranch. My husband & I stayed in a covered wagon which was beautiful, well appointed & SO comfortable. A fire pit & s’mores kit were provided to us to enjoy one evening. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely, friendly staff who immediately pointed out a moose who was grazing on the hillside. The property is beautiful, offering many activities for those not wanting to venture far. We would love to lan another stat in the near future!

- Deepak (2/5): Poor check-in info! Couldn't access the room - The communication from the staff regarding check in after hours was poor. The message they sent to me was never delivered to me. There was no info on our booked room after we reached the ranch. Calls and messages were unanswered. We had to stay in the common game room for the night. We couldn't sleep properly which resulted in neck and back pain. If you are planning to check-in after hours, be prepared.

And there were countless games available for our entertainment. I can’t imagine a more welcoming staff. They seemed like a healthy family.

- 897shellier (10/5): Cozy and fun place to be - After a day of hiking in the Grand Tetons, we loved driving over the mountain to the Moose Creek Ranch, nestled in a beautiful area with mountains and creeks. The staff was always friendly and welcoming, and we had fun hanging out at Penny’s Pub, playing cornhole, or relaxing in our cozy, updated cabin.
- Laura (10/5): Lovely stay - The wagon was lovely although we could not lock the door, this needs looked into. The smores box was a nice added touch. Heating was a little tricky and we would have been much quicker resetting both remotes then setting it again. Nice basic breakfast. We were a little disappointed the restaurant was shut for our stay and would have liked to know this in advance. Staff were friendly and welcoming and it was a lovely area for a bit of down time.

- carolynhB8778VW (10/5): Great lodge and glamping in a serene and beautiful setting - Wow what a great place. Felt campy and warm and homey. Loved the dogs- penny and rooster- so friendly. We stayed in the covered wagons with a group of friends staying in the others. Great experience. Also enjoyed the pizza and vibe at the lodge, sitting under the stars while roasting marshmallows, seeing the horses every day, and the peaceful location with the creek running behind us. Loved it!

The atmosphere was completely relaxing, with the unique experience of sleeping right in the middle of nature while still enjoying brand-new, spotless facilities. The staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. I would gladly return for another stay at the farm without hesitation.
- Michael (8/5): - It was a unique setting. We were in a cabin that was really very nice. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no coffee pot in the cabin. Coffee was available in the main lodge, which was close by, but a coffee pot in the cabin would have been nice. The staff was very friendly, but being there with a wedding party, and for as much as was paid, the staff did not seem very helpful in getting things set up for the wedding. Although, the barn for the reception was very nice, the accommodations for setting up for the reception was quite limited. But I will say, the setting was beautiful!

Unfortunatly the pub was closed during our visit. Breakfast was included but nothing spectacular, pretty basic. E-buke rental was great, wish we had more time.

We have kids, therefore we have appreciated the kitchen. The place was absolutely clean and the team extremely flexible and polite. While loading the car, we forgot something in the parking lot. They have been extremely kind shipping everything to our home.

- GregF2002 (10/5): First Class In Every Respect-Cozy Retreat - We stayed in an RV space, which was in a beautiful setting. The lodge and all facilities were available to us and although we never had the time to sit by a campfire in the lovely community area, play pool in the well appointed rec room, or go horseback riding, we did enjoy a complimentary breakfast one morning and a relaxing glass of wine by the indoor fireplace. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You can tell Moose Creek Ranch is first class in all that they do. We would recommend highly and would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.
- christinapJ7041QJ (10/5): A little slice of heaven - This place is a slice of heaven. The staff was so warm and helpful and every detail felt so intentional. It’s truly a stand alone destination! My daughter rode her first horse on the ranch and Biscuit, the wrangler, was a phenomenal teacher. We will miss Penny, the staff, the wholesome and communal vibe of the property, and all of the special moments we shared! If I had to make any note, it would be that the mattresses and pillows left something to be desired. But all in all an unforgettable experience, we will be back!

Victor is close to Grand Teton Park, and it's a beautiful ride to get there. We loved the Moose Creek Ranch and did not want to leave. Note, there is no air conditioning in the Lodge. Normally, this would not be a problem, but if you are going in August this might be an issue for some people.
- Jeana (10/5): - We stayed in a glamping cabin and it was amazing. Super clean and had all the things you need for a comfortable stay. Including a full fire making kit, toiletries, and some games in the cabin. It was so cozy and the location was perfect. They had the coolest guest lounge with warm fire, comfortable area to hang out and a pool table too! Complimentary breakfast was simple but good and the area to eat was home-y. The area itself was beautiful and you could enjoy a nice walk around the property. There were so many different types of places on the property. The glamping cabin might be seen as simple but it was perfect for us and we would definitely stay here again.

The Lodge is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air and views. And the entire staff could not have been better. At every turn we were greeted with a warm smile and welcoming hospitality. We’re not sure if life will bring us back to the area but if it does, the Moose Creek Lodge will be our choice of a place to stay, hang out, and relax. Thank you to the entire staff. The lodge bar and pizza place are just what was needed after a week in Glacier. We love the fires with s’mores kits, all the games and bikes. The bath house is stocked with everything you need including hairdryer and lotion, toiletries, etc. We will definitely be back and bring our grandkids for the horseback rides.
- KV1234 (2/5): A money grab... avoid - We visit the USA every year and have stayed in a few cabin style properties in different states but never on a ranch so we were looking forward to our stay at Moose Creek. Sadly we were very disappointed. We did get the impression from the name, photos and information on the website that this was a working ranch. It isn't. It is a kind of ranch style holiday and RV park and function venue that charges top end prices. The horse riding (extra cost) is outsourced at extra cost. Yes there are a few quirky types of accommodation such as wagons and an airstream that are different but still priced at the same or more than the cabins. So, what did we get for $498 a night? We booked one of the 2 Rendezvous cabins. We chose cabin 1 as it had a king sized bed and a 'soaking tub'. To describe a standard sized bath with no extra depth or length as a soaking tub is misleading. Moving on. The cabins are supposed to offer views of Moose Creek Canyon. Well, they don't. The look out onto the grass area outside the main lodge. Furthermore instead of being set back in a private location, the cabins are right next to each other enabling you to have a full view into your neighbour's accommodation. The airstream is right behind cabin 1 and both cabins are very close to the barn which is used for functions. What was the cabin like? Well, it appeared to have been remodelled recently although the bathroom still had the original sinks, toilet and bath/shower. The limescale clogged shower head notes a special mention (see photo). You definitely get that 'home away from home' feeling when you realise that for $500 a night, there is no housekeeping, so you have the pleasure of making your own bed, tidying the room and doing your own dishes in the bathroom sink (ick). If you fail to do the latter you will be hit with a $25 fine (see photo). We were wondering how having guests clean glassware, cutlery and plates in the bathroom sink for the next guests meet health and hygiene standards? Hmmm. And oh yeh, there is no airconditioning and the room does get rather hot. The overhead fan und=fortunately does not provide much respite from the heat. On to the facilities on offer that are included with the added 16% 'resort fee'. Breakfast consists of store bought bagels, instant oatmeal in a plastic pot and 'fruit' which was a bowl of apples on our first day and nothing on the other two days. By the way, you also get to make your own breakfast....just like home. Oh and if you want pastries for breakfast you have to pay extra for those too. A pretty poor effort. The other amenities appeared to be wifi (like anyone charges for this anymore), a pool table, a sauna which was a Swedish log type portable cabin that required booking and needed time to heat up. We did get one Smores kit for our 3 night stay which we could have used at the so called 'fire pit', which was not an attractive purpose built area with comfy seating, rather a few logs tossed in a hole which offered tree stumps to sit on. The firepit felt like an after thought. Do you get the eBike hire included or even at a reduced rate offered as part of the resort fee? Nope. You pay $75pp to hire the bikes for a half day. What about the positives? Well, the cabin included a decent bottle of red wine for a reasonable price which we purchased and yes we remembered to wash our glasses afterwards in the bathroom sink. The pizzas at Penny's pub were good at around $22++ and tasty. We travel a lot and always try and do our research on our accommodation. We decided to pay the high nightly price to stay at the ranch as we mistakenly thought it would be a working ranch in an idyllic location and we would be staying in a secluded luxury fully serviced cabin with great views that we could enjoy from our private porch. We thought the resort fee would include amenities such as free bike hire, nice outdoor garden areas with comfy seating, home made cookies/cake offered in the afternoons i.e. the sort of extras you expect for an added fee. We don't often give a one star review on this platform but the business model of this property is to offer as little as possible whilst charging for everything on top of the already inflated room rates. And to put a surly note in the cabin threatening a fine for unwashed dishes just left a sour taste in our mouths. What should should have been a relaxing break in a picturesque rural setting in a luxury cabin turned out to be what felt like a corporate money grab. Shame it has put us off ever booking a ranch again.
- Ming (10/5): - As the name suggests, the hotel is sitting near a creek, which is around 100 feet from our Conestoga Wagon. During the night, they would help you setup your own campfire and provide the smore kits for you. The wagon got AC/heating so you can control your room temperature. The room provides one king bed and another bunker bed, easily accommodating a couple and two kids. The mattress is probably the best among the entire trip, firmly enough to support your body. There is free laundry/dryer on site, you only need to bring your washing detergent or buy from them. Totally love it!
- JOE (10/5): - This was an incredibly relaxing, gorgeous gem of a hideaway. The staff was SUPER friendly, the grounds were lovely, the babbling brook running along the back of the property was so soothing to hear. The main building was like a beutiful mountain lodge with fireplace, and relaxing chairs. Gourmet pizza cooked in a wood burning stove on the front porch was delicious. LOVED this place!! They have horses to ride, and electric bikes too.

We will definitely visit again!

The wagon was perfectly laid out with everything we needed and the beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Right outside of our front door of the wagon was Moose Creek so we could sit around the fire pit and listen to the stream, it was the perfect setting. My kids were very excited about the s’mores kit :) We did a horseback ride with Biscuit, which was awesome, and rented e-bikes which was also so fun. We only wished we could’ve stayed longer to advantage of all the amenities that this ranch offered. Last but not least… the staff… they were all so friendly and made us feel so welcome!!

- Well_Travelled_Jess (8/5): Lovely location but ruined by wedding prep - The ranch is really pretty and in a lovely location. However, we were disappointed by some things. We booked our stay from pictures advertised on the website of the airstream and tent by a creek. When we arrived they were not by the creek at all, but in between other cabins. It was still a lovely location, but we felt we should have been informed of the move. Also, on the second day of our stay the ranch was being set up for a wedding. A massive marquee was erected right in front of us – with workmen there all day hammering and making noise. They even took our parking space. Not exactly the relaxed away-from-it-all trip we had imagined. The wedding party arrived and were very loud until late in the evening so we felt we couldn't even sit outside our trailer. A real shame.

Explained everything about the place and where to get everything we needed for a comfortable evening. We wished we had more time to stay and take it full advantage of the place. We woke up and seeing horseback rides being done around the place. We left around 9AM so we could get to our next destination on a much longer trip. This may be a longer stay next trip.

If you are staying in Jackson, wy like we were, it was well worth the 25-30min drive to this ranch. Was awesome to drive the Teton pass along the way. Huge applause on doing this right! They pay great attention to detail. We stayed in the Darby wagon. Everything was clean, nice and themed perfectly. We stayed only 1 night (Father’s Day actually) on our trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone. I wish was could have stayed longer.

We came into Jackson for sons graduation and staying at the Ranch was the best decision we could have made. The information site amenities are just what our family needed. The rooms are spacious and so adorable. We had a twin suite which was more than we expected. Full stocked kitchen and all tools to cook . The nightly fires were amazing. Game room for my teenage boys. I absolutely loved there is not televisions in the rooms. It truly was the most relaxing serene place I've ever been to.

I sort of wished we rented the covered wagon, but we had just spotted a grizzly in the Grand Teton's so the wife said no!! Great staff, our room was beautiful. Played checkers and roasted s'mores with the wife! It's been 20 years since we last did that. Five star stay.
