Beautiful building and decorations nice and full of character. I didn't think the check-in/out was very professional. Not the most friendly welcome. They can improve on that service. I would rate this as a 3star hotel.

Breakfast service could use some more help to speed up the service. More local and sport channels available. Carrying your luggage up and down the stairs was a bit challenging and can be dangerous, facility should look into some easier way for visitors to either carry their luggage up to their rooms as well as down the stairs so someone does not get injuried.

Location was also very nice. The house and the rooms are clean and well kept. The patios are pelasant to be sitting there in the morning for coffee. Loved their “ cafe de olla” and their pastriee. I dont think breakfasts are Michelin Star quality. Bedroom didnt have any windows. The only window led to a hallway. We couldn’t wait to get out of the bedroom and it was a shame as i love staying in hotel rooms when i want ro resr. This one, i needed to get out asap as it felt like trapped in a dark box

We had to ask to change our room because there were no closets or any storage for our clothes and belongings. Someone was at the property after hours as well and we were very well looked after. amazing hotel and the nicest people who run it. They organized transport for us to the airport and my wife forgot her phone in the car, I called the hotel and they got the driver to bring it back to us at the airport. Also we travelled with our 5 month old baby as first time parents, we were made to feel at home by the lovely people at Pug Seal. Cant think of anything, maybe another pair of slippers in the room

Siempre con cafetera y cositas para picar como frutas, agua, frutos secos. Desayuno a la carta donde prove uno diferente cada dia y que delicia de sabor. La cama muy cómoda. La habitación tenía vista hacia el.jardin interior con muchos árboles lo cual es lindo. Me gustó este concepto. Cuando vuelva a Cdmx los visitaré de nuevo. La ubicación perfecta en Polanco cerca de todo. La ubicación de la caja fuerte puede mejorar.
- Werner Schoenfeldinger (10/5): Wir waren überrascht und sehr zufrieden. - Wir sind auf das Hotel nur aus Zufall (Suche nach Bezirk und Preis) gestossen und wir waren nach den Fotos ein wenig skeptisch. Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Einrichtung ist aufeinander aufeinander abgestimmt und sehr gemütlich. Besonders die Räumlichkeiten im Erdgeschoss laden zum Verweilen ein. Das Personal ist nett, zuvorkommend und spricht ein sehr gutes Englisch. In der Gegend des Hotels befinden sich viele Lokale (alle Richtungen) und auch der Hop-on Bus sowie auch Pop-Up Märkte. Man kann am Abend auch zur Fuss gehen. Die wesentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten (Ausnahme Basilika) sind in 30 min mit dem Taxi zu erreichen. Es gibt nichts was nicht so gewesen wäre, wie wir uns das gedacht hatten. Es gibt Zimmer mit "Blick" in das Stiegenhaus. Wenn man das nicht will, dann bitte bei der Buchnung sagen.

Breakfast was delicious and all the little details made the stay super special Nothing. All perfect!

The hot water didn’t function properly, I had to turn on the hot water of the shower 7-10 minutes before actually getting it hot. No iron at the room. The breakfast was nice but very slow.

- Darren (9/5): Charming boutique hotel in a great location with an excellent cooked breakfast. - Nice quiet location, just off the main street in Polanco with lots of high end shops and restaurants. Very safe neighbourhood and great for a morning run. Room was fine, nothing special but clean and tidy and hot drinks and free filtered water just outside. The building is charming like an old small mansion. No external noise from the room. Highlight was the cooked breakfasts which were excellent. 24 hour check in available. Very comfortable bedding. The aircon was quite noisy and we couldn't adjust it, so we had a stream of air blowing into us in bed.

- Stylianos (7/5): Charming Hotel with Great Service, but Not Quite a 9.0 - The location is excellent — right off the main street in Polanco, surrounded by beautiful, high-end shopping and top-tier restaurants. The hotel itself has stunning Mexican character and felt both elegant and secure. Everyone on staff was polite, helpful, and genuinely friendly. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary hallway snacks. Breakfast was a highlight thanks to the fresh orange juice, delicious omelette, and chance to meet others. My room was lovely and offered a relaxing view of the nature outside. I also really valued the local dining recommendations. A few comfort issues made the stay feel more like an 8.5 than the 9.0 it’s rated. The bathroom was cramped, with a sink area that felt too tight to use comfortably. The shower water didn’t get hot enough and took a while to warm up, and the toilet was oddly loud. Also, the hair dryer was underpowered - not what I’d expect from a hotel that touts Michelin-level quality. Breakfast outside of the omelette was disappointing: the chilaquiles and huevos rojos fell flat.

- Fred (10/5): - This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone! The hotel is so interesting and beautiful, and the staff is outstanding. So thoughtful and attentive. And the breakfasts we had were so delicious! The only little complaint I have is that our room was on the inside of the hotel and we did not have a window. But still I would go back in a nanosecond!

- Farzad (3/5): We booked here because our friends stayed there a year ago and they were with us this time also. We were both disappoin - The location of the property is good and near shops and restaurants Our room was in a building next to the original building. Our room had small window to the staircase. Most of the staff that were at the front desk could not help us with information that we needed or could not help us. There was a leak in the sink that did not get fixed while we were there. There is no phone in the room that connects to the front desk so we had to walk down to ask for anything.

- Justin (10/5): Gourgeous Boutique Hotel - This is a gorgeous boutique hotel in Polanco (one of the most exclusive parts of CDMX). It is close to the shops and restaurants - all walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are snacks put out during the day. Wine is available as well (I think you have to pay for that though). Breakfast is also really good.
- Steve (9/5): Superb - Beautiful suite in the new part of the building. Loved the honour bar and breakfast was excellent. Short walk to great restaurants and watering holes. Very friendly staff as well. There.was a very loud mechanical room on the other side of the wall that woke us up at night. I hope they looked into the issue as thenroom was spectacular.
- Jeremy (10/5): Beautiful spot in a beautiful location! - After switching last minute from a subpar Airbnb in Roma Norte this place was like a breath of fresh air! Super clean. Super comfy. Super cool. And close to lots of good food and shopping. And the staff were great! The wait was a bit long at breakfast. One day I took breakfast early and it was quick. Another day I guess I hit the rush, cuz it took longer than I had hoped. That being said, I would absolutely stay there again.

- Beth (10/5): We loved this beautiful historical hotel and would definitely choose to return. - This is a beautiful unique hotel, a renovated mansion in the lovely neighborhood of Polanco. Our suite on the top floor was huge and sunny, super comfortable with historical details like decorative ceiling moldings. Two bathrooms! We enjoyed the robes and slippers, all with a cute logo of the hotel. The ground floor had a lounge area with generous snacks provided daily like fresh juice, sweet rolls, fruit, and peanuts. We also enjoyed the bicycles, no extra charge, which we rode to beautiful Chapultepec park, 10 min away. The breakfasts were exceptional, a generous selection on the menu with fresh juices, and coffee selections. Our waiter Johnny was so friendly and helpful, Israel was always helpful too and Karen the concierge was lovely. The overall ceiling lighting in our suite was dim in the main room and especially the bathroom, and it would have been better to have some standing lamps also. Also the fabulous double shower was lousy in that the pressure went up and down and even completely off at times. We only used the shower in the second bathroom which was excellent. The door to our suite was sticky and required frustrating maneuvering to get it to lock.
