- montanan_traveler (8/5): Great with one exception. - The staff was super friendly. The free breakfast was pretty good. Only one big problem. The heater in room #131 came on every ten to fifteen minutes and was so loud that we couldn’t hear the TV at all. Otherwise, the room was pretty nice. We had to unplug the heater all night so we could sleep.

Good customer support including a friendly call after we reserved the room, to make sure that they had everything we needed. The one thing that turned into a big issue will be got there, was parking. We were pulling a small trailer and there was no place to park with it. We had to try to back it into a single parking stall and leave the vehicle sticking out.

Stayed there before in a different room and the bed was great! Next time I reserve a room I will just request that I do not get that room again,

- Wesley (10/5): Greatest small town hotel find! - This was a last minute stay while traveling during some bad weather. It had recently been remodeled and was quite clean and comfortable. The staff was so accommodating and kind and gave us great local recommendations. Location was also great as it was across from a good mexican restaurant and next door to a gas station/ convenience store. A simple continental breakfast made it even that much nicer! About 2 hours after we checked out I got a call from the hotel because they found I had left my expensive coat in the room. They were quick to offer to mail it home for me. I so greatly appreciate thier amazing thoughtfulness and hospitality. They went above and beyond and I would recommend staying here if you're ever in Grangerville!

- Scott (6/5): Pet friendly does not mean pets included - The room booked as a pet room required an additional $20.00 fee to actually have a pet in it. I booked the room on Hotels.com as a pet friendly room. Upon my reservation being completed online I was immediately contacted by the hotel to tell me if I was bringing a pet that I would need to pay an additional fee. The hotel told me that as the booking was done online they had no ability to offer me any work around to bring my pet other than paying their additional pet fee. I decided not to bring my pet and avoid the fee. Upon check in we went to settle into the room only to discover it was very warm in the room and the A/C was not working. Contacting the front desk I was told they had a work order in the fix the A/C but it would not be today. I asked to be moved to another room, I was informed that as I had used an online service they were unable to move me. I observed that the room we were in was not even the pet friendly room we had reserved online. I asked the front desk staff member to contact management to see if that was the final word on this matter as that did not satisfy us. The on call manager told the front desk person to move us to the pet friendly room that did end up having a functional A/C unit. It seemed that this property valued customers that book directly with them as a higher priority customer that one that uses an online booking site. I would contact them directly to make any future reservations if I was going to stay here again.

- Lynn (10/5): A perfect place to stay between Missoula and Boise - Everything was great except for one minor detail. The bed was comfortable. The staff was wonderful. There was a top freezer for the fridge and that was a major plus. The breakfast was fine, although the pancake maker was broken. But that was not a problem. The only issue we had was that all the pillows were way too hard and there was not one soft one there. We didn’t go ask for a softer one though, so we might’ve been able to correct that. So I did not knock them for that. Plus the food at the Mexican Restaurant across the street was tasty and didn’t break the bank!

The housekeeping is meticulous, the rooms although dated, are just what you need, and the front desk folks are friendly and helpful. It's right off highway 95 in Grangeville, so it's easy on and easy off. We'd stay again for sure!

The area was covered in new snow when we arrived, but the staff shoveled walkways a couple times during our 12 hour stay and they were plowing the parking lot in the morning as we were walking down to breakfast. The staff was very friendly. It is not a new motel, but the wall heater/air conditioner units were newer digital models and very quiet compared to others I've used at other motels. I was impressed by this upgrade the motel had invested in. The included breakfast options were slightly limited, but plenty enough to fill us up to ski nearby Snowhaven through to 1pm when we finally took a lunch break. Our family had a nice stay and our kids told us they want to stay there again.

- Daniel (8/5): Why the broken stairway? - Hotel was fine but the stairway closest to my room was closed for some reason. Staff are nice and the room was clean and comfortable.

- Eric (10/5): - On ground level room, the foot traffic above us was very loud. The structure itself has a lot of squeaking and settling noises while the folks above us walk about their room. But overall it was a nice stay. Very friendly service and clean room.

- Deana (10/5): Comfortable Stay - The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The beds were comfortable and the area is very quiet. The only issue was that the heater was very loud, it made a very loud sound when it kicked on and when it kicked off.
